"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church ..." As women were to reflect the church in its relationship to Christ, so men are to reflect the love of Christ for the church. The love of Christ was first (we love Him because He first loved us), sacrificial, and purposeful. Men, how would you describe your relationship to your wife?
