Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Biblically, fathers are to be the primary spiritual leaders of their homes. It was predominantly men that Moses was talking to on the east side of the Jordan River when he declared, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength. And the words which I teach you this day shall be in your hearts and you shall teach them to your children diligently whether you are sitting in the house or walking along the way; whether you are lieing down or rising up. Men were to nurture their children in the Word of God. However, that job has be handed over to the mothers and men have become absentee dads. If the church is to become powerful once again a key ingredient will be the repentance and revival of many men who are called by the name of the LORD! ...
