(00:04):
Welcome to Football is Sexy. I'm Monica and I'm so excited to
have my friend. I want to get the intro right,
so I'm going to read it. Specifically my friend.
He is an editor, screenwriter, performer, Bad Bunny Mirror, is
that a word? I just made it up.
I love it. And he's going viral right now
for his amazing, extensive prep for the Super Bowl halftime
(00:27):
show. So I felt it was only right to
have him here. No, it's not bad money, but it
is the second best thing. It is Nick.
Hi, thank you so much for havingme.
I'm so happy to be here. Truly, this is gonna be fun.
I think so. It's gonna be really fun.
I told my dad that I was coming on and my dad and my sister,
(00:48):
they're huge sports fans. Are they?
And they're like, let's prep youwith someone.
I was like no, I need to be organic and what I know.
They're trying to prep you. Yeah, they were like, well, you
could say that you watched this and I was like, I didn't watch
it, so I can't say it, Dad. I love that.
Shout out to your family. Shout out to them.
Shout out to the family. I'm worried to talk, actually.
Let's talk about it now before we get into the Bad Bunny and
(01:09):
the halftime and how you're going viral right now and all
the things you know. Tell me a little bit about your
background and were you a sportsfan?
Were you a fan of a team like? OK great.
So I grew up in Ohio and my family super supportive of me
and I always teetered between soccer and musical theatre and I
(01:31):
played select soccer growing up.I played basketball.
I was not good. I cried before every game
because I had so much anxiety. Yeah, that's.
Hilarious. I ran track.
Did you cry before track? I did not cry before track
because something about basketball was just so stressful
to me. So I'm very thankful for my
parents for putting up with me and supporting me through that.
But I play soccer now at West Hollywood and the West Hollywood
(01:53):
Soccer Club. So I play as an adult and all my
friends are like, it's wreck. But I'm like, no, it's like
professional wreck. Okay, that would I notice you
have some pretty nice legs there.
Thank. You those are for Pedro.
Okay, Pedro, we gotta talk aboutPedro.
Yeah, yeah. And so anyway, do I have a
favorite team, the Bengals, because I'm from Cincinnati.
(02:14):
But yeah, so my parents, they I chose musical theater at the end
of the day to pursue that. And in high school, I had to
choose because I went to performan arts high school.
So there wasn't soccer. And I was like, I'm done with
soccer. Like I was just done with
sports. I wanted to be a theater.
And now I love sports again. I like getting back into it
feels great. And so I would, I mean, you
(02:36):
mentioned Pedro, so I'm going toassume that we're gay.
Yes, we would assume so with thetight jeans, otherwise we'd be
scared. We're both gay.
Nobody knows. I don't know.
Spoiler alert, you never know some people.
No, no, I honestly, I wouldn't know that.
I didn't know that until you told me, honestly.
Hey, so being gay and all that and all that in your early
(03:02):
years, was that hard coming out and did you have any issues with
sports or anything like that or was it pretty?
Honestly, besides from A and I went to a Catholic school, I
honestly, I had a really, I was very lucky.
I was friends with the girls. I could make people laugh.
That's where my comedy comes from.
Honestly, just trying to fit in.I had a few like rough patches,
(03:23):
but like my family was so supportive because my uncle's
gay and so my mom's brother. So he was like super just
accepting, if that makes sense. And so I didn't officially come
out until I was like a freshman in high school.
But like, they always knew they had inklings like, you know what
I mean? But like, they were super like
on my own terms. And they're like, well, maybe he
(03:43):
just likes, maybe he's just feminine, you know what I mean?
So I'm very lucky in that sense. And I lost the other part of the
question. Oh no, that's OK.
Just that you really didn't havea hard.
Time I, I, I didn't, I mean any,any hard time I did have yes,
but I was just, I had such a good, I have such a good parents
that they were really like supportive, supportive and
(04:05):
loving. And you know, I was just
delusional that I'm like, I'm not.
It just didn't bother me. I love to hear that.
Know what I mean? I love to hear that.
So how did you you said you're back in sports.
How did you get back into sports?
Yeah. It sounds like you had like in
high school You. Yeah.
And then you lost your way a little bit.
Yeah. In the theater.
So what brought you back? To.
(04:27):
Football specifically. To football specifically, Yeah.
So I will go with my sister to on Sunday to like the Bengals
bar. And we'll go with our best
friend Aaron. And we will her and I will drink
and Allie will drink and watch the game.
Sorry. I talked with my hands.
And so that's how I got back in.When I go home, they're always
(04:47):
going to games. But it's during the winter.
And I'm like, you cannot catch me at the stadium in the winter.
Downtown. We're like in Cincinnati, like
the wind is blowing. I really do like the idea of
football. I like how he said the idea of
football. I do think it could be a little
faster, really, and that's why I'm a big soccer guy.
OK, So I don't need to be rude because we are here for football
(05:09):
is sexy. It is sexy.
It is sexy. Football.
Football is sexy. Right I'm.
Just not gonna start anything but.
Just so you know, we have this thing called soccer sexy.
We haven't brought it rolled it out yet.
Amazing, yeah. What brought you back to sports?
Going to the bar. Back to sports so.
Going to the bar. And then I was like, you know
what, How am I gonna meet somebody, right?
(05:30):
Plot twist, still not met anyone.
I've met a lot of great friends and stuff, but I'm like, I
should go and play soccer. And I love competition.
I love being competitive, right? And as an actor and writer and
all these things for yourself, it's just like I was like, I can
find instant validation in myself by going and playing
sports with people and like, it's a great workout.
It's just a great way to meet people because my team is all
(05:52):
gay. But then I play now with
straight people too. So it's like, it's just really
awesome. I'm a big advocate for sports
for so many reasons. I just think playing gives you
so many life lessons on how to win, how to lose, how to do it
all with grace, how to get alongwith teammates, how to deal with
refs when I'm not good with the word.
(06:13):
No, I don't like, you know, authority, but you know what I
mean. But these are things you that
are all life lessons, coaches, discipline.
You know, if you want to win, you got to practice.
If you, you know practice, you know how many the dedication,
just all the things and I love winning.
I love when that's my issue too,right?
(06:35):
I am so competitive and that's why like I play soccer now like
2 to three times a week on teamsand one of the teams is more
like wreck and they're always like just have fun.
I'm like but have fun while winning right guys?
Like everyone, everyone. 'S I don't want to.
I'm like, I don't want to be here to lose unless we deserve
to lose cuz I'm like. Yeah, yeah.
And I'm not the Let's give everyone.
(06:55):
A trophy girl like. No, no.
Cuz I and I always I worked. Hard for my trophy.
I won my trophy. And I've had to take so many no
trophies. Oh my God, so.
I'm like, why do you get a trophy?
You know what I mean? So, yeah, that's so funny.
Well, I know. I mean, I, I, I found you, you
got tagged. So we had Heather Vassar.
(07:17):
On Shout Out. To Heather, this is your tag.
This is your moment, girl. Hope it works.
And I think Heather, who was a badass in music, she signed
this, I don't know, unknown guy by the name of Shibuzi.
Yeah, who's actually now doing the football SEC?
Not I wish he's not doing the football sexy anthem, but he is
doing the Thursday night anthem.Yeah, So there's a little tie in
(07:41):
there. I'm just saying.
And I said, well, who got next? Who should we have on?
And she's like, honestly, I feellike Nick.
And I was like, Nick who? Yeah, like Nick who?
What team does he play? On and she said the bad Bunny I
go wait I know I'm following him.
I love him. How weird is that?
(08:01):
I was weird. That's.
Universe. That's universe, right?
Universe. I was already following you
because I was like, I think I saw the very first video.
It came across my feed and it itwas like you talking and then
you're like, OK, I'm going to learn this better.
I got to hear it for myself. Let's.
(08:21):
Go. So wait, let's do.
That more time there we go so I just want to be a part of this.
I want to do AI just want to do the a part.
(08:42):
I love that because I love the way to a Yeah.
Quizarian, like, hey, let me T hey, yeah.
OK, OK, I love that. So I love that song and I'm, I'm
going to be honest, so I'm Mexican, but I didn't grow up
with my side of the family that spoke Spanish.
So I grew up on the other side. So there was no Spanish in my
(09:04):
household. But when I used to go back to
visit my dad and that whole sideof the family, they all speak
fluent. And so I would always feel lost
because I didn't speak, but I could feel the love and the
music. So like, I don't know.
I love MyHeritage and I love theSpanish, you know, Latin music.
(09:31):
I love all of it. But I never quite know what
they're saying. Yeah, no.
And I don't care. A lot of people say that to me.
Right. And I just go like, I love
Manal. Manal is one of my favorite
bands. I have no idea what you're
saying. Have like 90% time and none.
And I don't care 'cause I just, I fall in love with certain, oh,
going to Marc Anthony concerts, all the things.
(09:54):
So when I saw your reel, I was like, oh, I should get on this.
And I obviously we're not alone.We're not.
And so when I saw your video, I was like immediate follow and
then I just. So happy.
Yeah, And then I just can't believe Heather's like some guy
named Nick. I'm like Nick who?
And then she's like, oh, I go shut the hell up.
(10:14):
I know this guy. I love this guy.
I got to have him on. And here we are, what, a week
and a half later? Yeah, we made it crazy.
I'm so happy to be here. So what made you turn the camera
on yourself to learn Spanish? So I want to start back.
It started in March, not Spanish.
OK, Yeah, whatever. I'm sorry.
Yeah. No, please.
Yeah, that I was like, I turn 29, I'm going to be 30 and I'm
(10:38):
like, what am I doing? Like so much of being an actor
is just waiting. I have an agent, but it's
waiting for auditions. I'm in class, yadda yadda.
I write all the time. You have to wait for permission,
right? So I filmed my own half hour
sitcom myself because I'm in class with a bunch of amazing
actors who work on TV and stuff and I'm like, I can use them.
(10:59):
So anyways, the whole point was for the past like year, I've
been filming that myself, my sister, my sister Will is the
camera girl. She's the my assistant director.
And it's awesome. But I was like, I need to start
growing on social media. I need to have, I want to make
people laugh too. Yeah.
And I'm like, that's ultimately my why.
I'm like, I'm going to be 30. And I'm like, it's just so sad
(11:19):
because I've been pursuing it, pursuing it and I feel like I
just have so much more to give. So I was like, I'm just going to
start posting every day consistently and making funny
videos, just try to make people laugh, right?
So it took from there to October1st and I had success up and
down, but nothing like this. Yeah.
And when they announce Bad Bunnyand I always anytime Bad Bunny's
in the news I'm always like posting about it cuz I'm like I
(11:40):
love his dance moves, his gyrating gets me.
Oh, I gotta see this. OK, it's.
Like he's just like, oh, really?Yeah.
Yeah. You gotta see.
It OK, yeah, yeah, you. Might not enjoy it as much as
me. Right.
Does he have a sister? Yeah.
Does he have a sister? We'll find out, hermana.
OK, hermana. So anyways, on October 1st, I
was like, well, I got to Start learning this because his music
(12:01):
plays a gay bars, his music plays everywhere.
A lot of the people on my soccerteam are Hispanic and Latin.
So like I'm like, you know what,I really want to learn And I was
like, I'm going to, it won't be hard because I'm delusional,
right? And that's how you have to start
things. You have to be like, it won't be
hard because there's others you will not start.
You can't even think about it. You just have to.
(12:21):
I'm like. Start.
I'm like, whatever, I'll probably have the song down in a
minute because I'm talented. It is not the case, OK.
And so I was like, I'll film it because I need something to post
today. And then I just slice it up
really funny. So like, this is funny.
This is me on a daily day basis.Anyway.
Yeah, what I'm doing, Yeah. And it just took off and I had
already I had other videos and other days already prepped
(12:44):
because I was like recording it and I was like, I just got to
post it and I was like, oh, well, thank goodness.
I already have videos. And then just kept going And
then so many people kept reaching out and they were like,
this is amazing. Thank you so much.
I speak Spanish. I don't even know what he's
saying, but I'm learning the songs now through you learning.
So like it's just really awesometo to like connect with people
(13:07):
in a way. Like I bringing smiles to
people's days makes a lot because honestly, that's why I
love comedy so much because it'slike, and that's why sports is
amazing because people can leavetheir day and they can watch
something. That's why live theater is
amazing and why everything's so important to like outside of
your life. Find sports or something like
that because. It's like community.
(13:28):
At the end of the day, community, there it is.
And yeah, it's just been amazing.
And I've been learning and I am continuing to learn.
I'm starting to learn like phrases too.
And I do want to share one more thing.
And then once you speak, sorry, I took Spanish.
This is your podcast. No, it's your podcast.
Football is sexy. And so I took Spanish for eight
(13:51):
years growing up. But you know, there's something
to say about when you're a kid. Like we learned colors.
We learned like I can barely, asmy friend last night said to me,
because I wrote on my like one of I was like Sunday Scary's and
I put it with two Rs and she waslike, I do hope you know that
Scary's isn't spelled with two Rs And I was like, I didn't know
and she was. Like I've never thought about.
(14:12):
That and she was like, I think it's hilarious that you're going
viral for learning another language when you haven't even
mastered the English. And I was like, shout out to
Aaron. And my sister is always, my
sister is always, they're always.
They keep me humble. That's funny and.
My friend Jeff. So it's great to have good
support, but I learned nothing. I retained nothing because all I
wanted to do was musical theatre.
(14:33):
Yeah. And I was like showbiz.
So like, I'm really kind of starting from zero with like, I
know Selena songs because I loveSelena como la flor contanto
more. So I am a little versed on her.
I love Gloria Estefan. Oh my God, really?
That's kind of that's about, that's like musical theatre E2.
In a way, MI Theatre is one of my favorite songs.
It you have, there's a certain playlist, so I'm always in
(14:54):
charge of the music at every holiday function.
And I have this thing called my Roots.
It's like, and it's actually Antioch roots.
But anyway. And you've got to have for me,
for my family, it's Motown. OK.
And, and a little bit of like, Ilove Motown, me Tierra, Linda
(15:15):
Ronstadt speak like the the Mexican version of Linda
Ronstadt. Did you know that?
No, I didn't. Oh, I'm going.
To put you on game Yeah, some ofher best stuff is when she's
singing Spanish, Latin. Oh, she has a whole yeah, it's
amazing it's. And again, I don't know what
she's saying, but I love I love.Anyway, all that to say, I love
(15:38):
music. I'm a big music lover and I huge
football fan. So when I I didn't even I
stumbled on football sexy. I hadn't everybody who knows me
is like, of course you started football sexy, but I did not
know that was not I never was like let me go start a sports
media brand that is geared towards women.
(15:58):
Like never dawned on me. It just happened, right?
It's very smart. But when I got into it and was
able to bring music into it, I was like, this is like my happy
place. And I say that because it's
football and music, everything that I love.
And for you, so you sounds like, you know, you're competitive, so
you're competing with yourself because you want to learn these
(16:20):
things. You love the music.
And it sounds like you had to dip your little toe in Spanish.
So hey. And I'm I'm dipping.
I'm. Fooling out?
You're like fool. Daily vlogs because I find that
people really like it when I canlip sync the song, when I can
sing, I perform it with a littlekaraoke.
Yes, it's insane, but it's amazing because at the end of
(16:42):
the day, so many people are saying, like, they feel seen
through this, this little white boy learning Spanish music,
right, or in reggaeton makes them feel seen.
And I'm like, that's crazy. And it's just above me.
And I feel really blessed for that.
Yeah. So I'm blessed to be speaking
with you. Yes.
And your roots. Thank you.
And plus, you were just on Univision.
(17:05):
Yes, and Telemundo. Dude, you know those are like
the biggest networks in the Hispanic market.
I know like. It's crazy.
What? Yeah, They just reached out and
I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, please.
So they how did they find you? Through the producers saw me
online and they were like, wouldyou do a well the S1 of the SVPS
(17:27):
of Telemundo saw me and she was like we're doing a story we'd
love for you to be on it Hope you can participate.
I'm like hope like when is it isit now?
Cuz I'll be all right right right right right.
And so that's how that happened. And then just all through that
someone KTLA, someone they want to have me on next week and I'm
like I. Love it.
I'm like, I got to get really good.
Oh my God. Well, we have some producers
(17:49):
following football sexy Paige. Yes, because I did hear my.
Dream. I know.
Tell me about it. I'm just saying I say it.
My dream is I'm going to performon the Kelly Clarkson Show and
it's been my dream for forever. And I'm always like, what would
I ever perform? Because it's going to take me
forever to have my my play on Broadway and stuff.
And I was like, aha, I literallywoke up in the middle of the
(18:10):
night and I was like, Oh, this is how I'm going to be on the
Kelly Clarkson Show. I literally yes, the universe I
really believe in like manifesting.
And obviously you have to put inso much hard work, but like
otherwise, and I get my people are like, well, I don't really
do the fru fru at all, but I'm like, what's my other
alternative? Just be like, I don't know
what's going to happen. So I manifest and This is why
(18:31):
I'm here. Honestly, I'm not even kidding
you. And let me just say one more
thing. So sorry, no.
This is your podcast, baby. My sister and I, I was like Ali.
I think it's going to be really funny.
I was like just pull up a bunch of questions about the NFL, pull
up a questions about like a logos and let's see how many I
can guess. So I've been doing like a TikTok
series, 'cause we filmed that one night.
(18:51):
And so like football, this was like even two months ago that I
started doing that 'cause I was like football starting.
I gotta do content around football because it's so
engraved. It's so engraved in everyone and
it's good for us. And that's wild.
And then here you are on a football podcast.
Football is sexy. Yes, it is.
(19:12):
And I love the DCC, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, OK.
Do you woo? It's the way he said that.
Do you? I would think you.
Know well that was like a loadedquestion for a few reasons being
that I'm one gay to a 49ers fan. It's like well, I will say this.
I will say this. I have a good friend who was a
(19:36):
Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, by the way.
And what's wild is she was also a 49er cheerleader.
Shout out Bonnie, Jill. So I love what they do and
obviously they're the best, I think one of the best teams to
do it clearly. So yes, I guess I like them and
I want to eventually, you know, maybe get some of those
(19:57):
cheerleaders on. I think it would be amazing.
No, literally. Yeah, we got to get some
cheerleaders on. That's who I'm tagging.
All those cheerleaders, Jada. Like all of them.
You know all of. Them, I don't know them, but I
made some my first viral post was because I was talking about
the DCC cause the Netflix the first yeah and it's the first
one that got 7 million and I waslike pay these girls and I was
(20:19):
like let me just talk about thisand.
Like I did the. Whole thing and I was just like,
cuz the the one Jada, I think she's just these girls taught me
like, wow, they're very humble and they're hard working.
Being a dancer was so hard and they get paid.
They got paid pennies. And so it was like, this is just
(20:40):
beautiful. And like the ones that were like
fighting for their worth on behalf of everyone.
I was just like, I recognize that.
Like I love that. Part of me did not want to watch
that Netflix series because my heart breaks when people don't
make it. Yeah, it's really but.
It's kind of hard, but I was like.
The original series of it, they were more cutthroat.
Yeah, the Dance Momsies. But now they do handle people
(21:02):
with care. Like, they only bring people in
that are like, good. Yeah.
And Judy she. I love that you know the name.
Yeah, I know, right? I like.
This is how I know. So we we took a turn.
Sorry. No.
Hey, no, this is this is what I love about football.
There's so many different aspects to football and the
cheerleaders. I have some other friends that
were shout out to Haley. He's a cheerleader for the
(21:24):
Atlanta Falcons. It was a by the way, I don't
know if you know this, but the cheerleaders, most cheerleaders
don't know football. Yeah, I do.
And and they they have to learn, which I find.
I love that, I love it, I love that.
And I'm our app will be coming out next year and I'm really
(21:44):
excited about what that's going to entail.
And we definitely going to reachout to the cheerleaders around
the world and the league and allthe things so we can.
You're learning Bad Bunny and we're teaching football.
I mean, I feel like there's somesynergies here.
There is. Yeah.
Yeah. Now and true transparency.
(22:06):
My song is Titi Me Pregunta. Pregunto not to be, not to be
man. That's what I was going to say.
Titi me pregunto. Titi me pregunto.
Titi me pregunto yes. That's your favorite song?
Yeah, that's my Bad Bunny. Mine too.
Yeah. Yeah.
And then when I realized what itwas about, I was laughing even
(22:26):
further. Got a lot of novias hey?
So I feel like some people mightnot know you want to just quick.
Yeah, so he's. Because he's yeah.
But just the beginning. The intro says enough.
Chiti Mae pregunto see tango mucha novia he and it's just my
aunt's asking me a lot if I havea lot of girlfriends, right, If
I have a girlfriend and because he says Novia and he says I have
a lot of girlfriends, right, butno ring, no ring right and then
(22:49):
it's basically just like taking pictures with all his
girlfriends and so. My favorite line is say, cheese.
Say cheese. Say cheese.
It's a real like aleme T oom VIPbecause he takes him to the VIP.
Room OOM. VIP OOM.
VIP Hey Saluda RTT I'm a tier noon selfie say.
Cheese. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Selfie. Say cheese.
(23:10):
I love it. I'm like OK can I just learn the
intro? Yeah.
That should not easy. No, it's not.
It's so fast. Yeah, as you can see, and what's
good about my videos, I'll say is I still do the daily series
of me like cuz I'll record myself.
I'll spend like 30 minutes, yeah, working on like 4-4 lines.
Yeah. And also something you should
(23:32):
know, which I've really discovered.
OK, what is written is not what he says because he loses, he
loses OS, he loses. He doesn't do bees, he switches
like so it's. Almost like an escape room,
Right, right, right. Yeah.
And so I was like, not even harder for me, but I love it.
So yeah, you could. Learn.
You have to learn it by ear then, yeah.
(23:52):
So I also like write it out, okay.
And this wonderful woman from New Jersey and her name is Alex.
She's a Spanish teacher. She's also an influencer.
And she reached out to me and was like, I would love to do
like help you with a little study session.
So we like recorded it and like I've been like.
So she helps me with like DTMDTMF which is DBT Ramos
(24:13):
photos. Oh my.
God. And so that's another song,
which is beautiful, OK? I think he would like that too.
OK. So you send me some Bad Bunny
songs and I'm gonna send you some Linda Ronstadt songs.
I think she plays with like the mariachis.
Like, I know it's, it's, it's soamazing.
And her voice is, I can't even, I can't even remember the name
(24:34):
of my favorite song. My mom's gonna kill me.
My whole family. It's you hear it and you're
like, you would never have put the two together.
It's amazing. Anyway, OK, so bad money.
What is your plan for Super Bowl?
My plan for the Super Bowl is I'm going to be there is my
manifest. Manifest thing.
OK. You annually?
Yeah. Annually.
(24:55):
OK, that was interesting. Yes.
We had a little bit of a. Let's take a turn.
We had a little bit of a. Yeah, a little, a little
territorial. Territorial.
I did not realize I walked into it.
We decided to do 2 podcasts today.
That's why I'm in the same outfit as last week and I did
not know yes, that there was. Because I made a video online
(25:18):
that I'm going to invite Pedro Pascal to come to the Super Bowl
with me When I learn enough Bad Bunny lyrics.
I do believe I'll be invited. OK, You know, delusional.
And I would love for him to comewith me.
And so I was saying I would takehim and I would take him to
dinner also. That's nice of you, yeah.
I know it's very kind and all onme.
(25:38):
You know I'm gonna take him. I'm gonna OK, you're gonna pay
and everything. OK.
I like the chivalry. Chivalry.
Is not that not at all? And he apparently Pedro follows
Yuli and it's just horrible for me, but I'm in my own lane in my
own universe. OK, so like we exist.
And a bunch of his followers actually started following me
(26:01):
and they would they would tag meanytime I would put talk about
Pedro because I'd talk about Pedro.
Kelly Clarkson, Amy Poehler. Those are my manifestation ones,
you know. So anyways, and they'd be like,
Yuli, someone's coming for your man.
And I'm like, please, he has a current husband, right?
He does not need another greed. Greed.
Greed is among us. Greed is among us is here.
(26:23):
And So what was so funny is we're kind of running a little
late today. So they met by accident coming
to the Football Sexy podcast. I'm surprised he recognized me
to be honest. I will say.
And he was like cuz I was like, I was like hi nice to meet you.
I'm a fan. And he was like, sabotage,
sabotage. And I was like.
(26:44):
I feel like he probably thinks Iset him up.
I'm the other woman. I did not know that this was the
thing. I don't have to text him.
He's gonna. Be like, listen, I'm so sorry.
Oh my. Los Siento hit him with that
because he knows what that means.
What Los Siento? Los siento, I know that.
OK so I speak a little Spanish but not much Los siento.
(27:04):
That's my language. Oh my God, I think we it was all
wow. It was in front of me and I was
just like, oh, I think I should probably be filming this.
Right now we'll. Be we'll have to be.
I'm going to text it to both of you guys so you guys can do what
you guys want with it. Yeah, thank you.
But that was hilarious. It was and then the first.
He came out of his mouth. He came with facts.
(27:25):
He did. He showed me, he showed me, he
showed me what kind of work I have to do.
No, his first words were enemy territory.
Yes. And I was like, oh, he knows.
Oh my God, Yuli. No, Take Kiera Lu Yuli.
Okay. And obviously I told him if I
(27:46):
have an extra ticket I would invite him.
Like after you can come obviously.
Thank you. I would say when I.
Definitely you first and Pedro and I was like, but just don't
be weird. Don't be weird.
Cuz Pedro there with me. Okay, be cool.
Yeah, I'm sure he'll make the content in the corner being
like, I can't believe it. Just be cool.
Well, I know you're a big Kelly Clarkson fan.
Huge. She sorry.
(28:07):
Yeah, before you, no. Cut you off?
No. Kelly Okeys, Those are
ridiculous. She is insane and she doesn't
release them but I have a hot tub.
You can just screen record them and you can play them in your
car cuz they post them and I'm like she is sickening but.
That's all I'm saying. Well, I just wanted to tell you
that I was there. I know.
And that's why you're like, whenyou reached out, I was like,
(28:29):
Nah, this is the universe. She was on the Kelly Clarkson
Show guys. And I had like, I never thought
I would be on the Kelly ClarksonShow, like.
You didn't have those those seeds planted like.
I had no idea. That's amazing.
But the producers reached out tome and it's on my Instagram, you
know? Watched.
It 10 times and I just wanted todid you yeah I was like Oh my
(28:53):
God, I love that. I just want you to know, like
her team and her in particular were amazing.
Everything you probably think that she is is exactly who she
is. Like she was so sweet.
It was the best experience. So if you get that experience,
well, I want to come with you Done OK.
(29:14):
The hotel, even though I was like, oh, I could get used to
this, like even the hotel, just from the moment I heard about it
to the moment I left was just anexperience.
And so I would love to see that for you, which.
Is why I'm learning a lot of songs.
So that way she's like, there's a reason for him to be here,
Yeah. America, you might.
I'm thinking the Bad Bunny routemight be.
(29:36):
That's what I'm leaning. Might be your ticket.
I'm literally I'm auditioning, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. And then you ought to learn
Debiti Ramos photos Taekwondo detube debita de mebeiso evrazo la
veise caputa. See, we're gonna get on that.
Well, another guest I'm going tohave on is DJ Angie V OK, I
(30:00):
don't know if you know her, but she's a bad ass and she sounds
like it was huge. Amazing.
She has this amazing thing called You're Not Down.
And they played, I don't even know how many people were there.
It was packed. And Bad Bunny, they played Bad
Bunny last night and it was likeit just went.
The place went nuts. It was so much.
It was so much fun. He's amazing.
(30:21):
And you don't have to understandwhat he's saying to know that.
First off, music transcends anything.
I listen to English songs that Ido not know the lyrics to that
Rey song that's I don't need a ring.
I don't need a ring. It took me like 10 hours to
learn this. And it's like, so like, you
don't need to know it to know anything.
But like, I also think there's no issue with just doing a
(30:41):
little quick Google search of being like, what's this song
about? And then, OK, I get the essence,
you know what I mean? And so I don't think there is a
problem with not being able to speak it right.
To not. Not at all.
To really appreciate and embraceit.
My mom was a belly dancer and some of the Arabic music that
she played, I don't understand aword, but some of it just
(31:03):
gorgeous. Yeah.
Like. So anyway, I'm with you on that.
Speaking of learning, we are going to do our segment brought
to you by Legendary, the Pro Team Doughnuts.
Go get you some, Go get you some.
By the way, make sure you like and subscribe because we are
bringing all the things and we don't want you to miss it.
(31:24):
So hit that like subscribe. Here from the beginning, because
you were doing this, you have a great team, but like you are
amazing honestly, because I justgot into all this with her like
and I'm like just seeing that it's really inspiring because
you had to like you're she's on the boots, she's on the ground,
she's doing it. So it's and I genuinely want to
(31:44):
share that with you. It's really inspiring.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
When you love what you do, when you love what you do, it doesn't
feel like work. That's what they say, and it's
true. Well, let's see if you love this
because so this is called Pick ahelmet.
I got to come up with a sexier title, but for now and whatever
helmet you pick, you just get towhatever comes to your mind, OK?
(32:09):
Tell me anything you know about the team, whatever, and let's
see. Did Yuli know his I'm?
Not going to tell. I'm not going to tell him That's
funny. OK, should I reveal?
OK, reveal. Oh, the Raiders.
OK, so this is actually pretty awesome because I do know about
the Raiders, OK? They were originally in LA.
(32:30):
They moved to Las Vegas. They're in Las Vegas now, right?
Yep. I wore a sweatshirt of theirs to
bed last night. I.
Guess I have a. Raiders sweatshirt and what do I
know about them That's giving all I know about the Raiders.
OK, That was good enough. Thank you.
Let's do it. Let's.
Go Raiders. Let's go.
(32:52):
Let's. Go Yeah, yeah.
OK. You did good.
Just so you know, they were in Oakland.
They started in Oakland, though.Yeah, but in Oakland it's a big
thing. Like.
Yes, Oakland, CA. Oakland Raiders.
How could I? You did good.
No, you said. But they were in LA too.
OK. So they've been.
A few they've been. Around that's a lot of yeah,
that's. A lot.
What are you gonna get? No.
(33:13):
Oh, I get another. Yeah, you're gonna.
Get like 2. More OK, this one it and the
reason I know this is because ofthat game I play with my sister.
This is the Tennessee Titans. Look at you.
Oh, oh, Yuli, he's coming for you.
Yuli, how many did you get right?
And I don't know a whole lot about anything about them
besides they are from Tennessee.OK, that's good.
(33:35):
That's a great start. So I can tell you.
They look like a little comment. They're kind of in last place
right now. It's giving.
Last place unfortunately, I'm sorry.
The vibe when I picked it kind of went.
Down kind of felt down. Yeah.
So I feel bad because I am. I feel like Nashville's my
second home. And I love, you know, Tennessee.
(33:56):
I love Heather Titan University. So there's a lot of good things
in Nashville. It's just not the Titans right
now. Yeah, but you know what's cool?
People. Don't hate me for that.
But it overturns like the Bengals lay socks now.
Then they went to the. Super Bowl, it's always.
Nice. You know what I mean?
I think that's cool. I was wondering, OK, well, you
get to keep that for playing, but you got more.
(34:18):
Oh. My God.
Amazing. OK, one or two more I got to.
Give you the same amount. Thank you I gave.
You so you got 1, you got that one and I'll clip it.
Well, this says The Jets. Do you know anything about them
besides that? They're in New York, yeah.
And they were. They were.
Actually. Their team name comes from West
Side Story. The Jets.
I'm just kidding. I wish The Jets, they're the
(34:40):
greatest, but no, I have no clueabout them.
The Jets, they're doing good. Though I love that this is, I
mean, we should keep that one out because it does say The
Jets. That's like a freebie, OK,
that's a freebie, all right. And you only pick The Jets.
Too. That's why Kismet.
Yeah. Did he know who it was?
Yeah. Oh, and these are the Chargers.
(35:02):
He picked the Chargers. Too.
OK, wait. Redo.
Redo. What is happening?
Redo. You guys are like.
And I and I was going around like I.
Know OK. Green Bay Packers, Let's go
Brett Favre used to be their quarterback.
Yep, Yep. So when I was trying to fit in
with the cool kids in like 7th grade, and this is like before,
(35:23):
I was like, why am I trying to talk to these hot guys in 7th
grade? When I was in 7th grade, I was
like, Oh yeah, I love Brett Favre.
I love Brett Favre. Because that's not all they
talked about. Right, Right.
Right. So that's what I know about
Green Bay. And they're from Green Bay.
That's good. And that's really good news.
Which is Wisconsin, yes, which Ioriginally did not know.
(35:43):
OK, My sister didn't know either.
And we were like, where are theyfrom?
Yeah, so they're like cheese heads.
They're called cheese heads, right?
And right now, Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, cuz he's on their team,
right? He was, and now he's a Steeler,
but he was there for like 18. He's done a lot of switching
around. Yeah.
It's kind of crazy. Look, it's you look.
Okay, here we go. I got this all right.
(36:08):
I feel good about this. Oh, these are the Steelers.
And I know that because of this, the Pittsburgh Steelers, because
of the Bengals. I do know that there is a
rivalry and I am to not support the Pittsburgh Steelers.
But you know, I don't like to. I like to support everyone.
Not the. Trophy, not the trophy.
(36:29):
So that's all I know about them because I don't need to know
anything about them because the Bengals.
Are going to take care of business.
They're going to take care of business.
Look at he did really, really good, good.
Look at that. Well, before I let you go, I'm
going to ask Sam to go grab. There's something on the table
for you. It's black.
It's a hat, Sam watch party. Yes, I'm having a watch party
(36:52):
party. I'm having a watch party rounds
versus Niners and don't show them yet.
Rounds versus Niners and hopefully you'll come.
It's going to be a vibe. I'll be at any event that you'll
have. November 9th, yes.
And then we're having a big Super Bowl party at the Ice
House as well, and it's going tobe a big kick off.
It's going to be like the week before the Super Bowl.
(37:14):
It's Saturday the 31st. We're going to have the top
comedians. It's going to be music, food,
drinks. It's going to be a vibe.
So I feel like you ought to be. There, I would love to be there.
I just penciled it in. I'm like.
OK, let's go. I think that's it.
Is there anybody that you think should be on this podcast?
(37:34):
Just as Dallas Cowboys. Who got next?
Jada Jada Hall. Oh, you want me to get a Dallas?
I think it would be so cool, OK?I think it would be really
awesome for football is sexy because that is sexy, OK, And I
think it'd be cool even if you could get any cheerleader.
OK, but specifically, what's hername?
Her name's Jada Jada Hall. OK, so we're gonna have to tag
(37:55):
her. We're.
Gonna have to tag Jada Jada. We're coming for my green.
We're coming for you because youjust got tagged.
You just got. Tagged So she just hung up her
uniform this year, but she was on it for five years and she's
the main character of it. And she's just, she taught me a
lot about being humble. I love that, honestly.
And I need that. When you're delusional, you have
to stay humble. Yeah.
(38:16):
And she just like was like, no, she's very cool.
Well, I love that you're making people laugh.
I love that you. What you're doing is spreading
joy. Yeah.
Keep going. I'm here for it.
I'm gonna at least learn the intro.
That's what I'm committed to. I would love to watch the Super
Bowl. You know, somehow at the party,
(38:36):
you know, we got to go to some games.
Like, I think it'd be fun. Maybe we'll bring Yuli and Nick
under one roof under 1 to my. One game this could be.
Interesting. We'll see there there's a battle
between Pedro and maybe I'll tryto bridge the gap.
I think so. Then you're.
Gonna have to reach out. Ball is.
Sexy and healing. OK, I'm with that.
(38:56):
And that would heal. Us, I'm with that.
Well, thank you for doing my podcast.
Thank you so much for having me.A little something I heard you
were a Bengals fan. I am going to do my next study.
I'm going to do my next study session.
I call them. Study Sessions.
Yeah, I love this. Thank you so much.
(39:17):
Seriously, I have such a big head, I think.
Well, thank you for watching. Let's try to do the bad money
and then we'll lead out. OK, which one?
The TT. Yeah, yeah, OK.
TT Tango mucha novia, Mucha novia ultra A tango mucha novia
(39:40):
and then a saluted selfie. Say cheese.
Yeah, let's. Go.
Thank you so much. Let's go.
