The regular season for 2023 is over and it is about to go down
the wild card games. Everything is about to change.
There's fourteen teams left and we are going to talk about
everything. This is Are you guys ready for?
It so exciting. There is so much to unpack.

Firing of coaches, injuries, I mean, finally.
Yeah, we're going to talk about it all.
But first of all, I just have toget this out of the way.
I don't know if you've noticed my sweatshirt and I have to give
it to my Papa, Joe. It'll be 10 years this week that
he passed and I thought it fitting that he represent today

because without Joe Madrid we all would not be here right now
because he taught me the game and I just wanted to make sure
he got his flowers today. We love that how you go.

First of all, Miami versus the Bills.

What is happening in Miami? I mean, I would, I would venture
to say that most people are a little shocked, yes, by the
game. Would you agree?
Yeah, I mean, it was a game where you almost felt like both
teams were really playing for something, but not really at the
same time. And then it got a little flat,

and then you got Tyreke Hill's house being set on fire during.
The machine? Yes, like.
Stress. Well, you know what's so funny?
And for our newbies who probablydon't know.
So this is part of what we love about watching and being a fan
of the NFL. There's so many players, and
then these players have lives outside of FOC.
So Tyree kills one of the best wide receivers in the league,

Middle of practice mind. You But but you know what I
thought? Well, the first thing that came
to mind was remember when left eye set set set, set.
Her boyfriend was his name DeAndre or whatever on the

Miami was just so out of sync. They were just so out of sync.
They're missing waddle, clearly.And I think it was just the
Bills just had a great game. Josh Allen just showed out.
It was a great turn out by the Bills and Bill's mafia came in.
I think that also had a lot to do with it.
The Bills fans overtook Miami. I would have to disagree though,

what the Josh. I don't think Josh had a great
game. No, I don't.
I think that he got saved by hisdefense.
I think he got saved by his special teams.
I mean, he looked better than hehas looked.
The Madden curse didn't overtakehim, right?

Well, just so you know we're clear, Josh.
Josh had two interceptions in the end zone and he fumble in

the first half. They were.
They came back from a lot. But that's a classic example of
your defense having to come in and save the day.
Defense and special teams save the day when you're holding
Miami to what, 14 points? Yes.
I mean, that's what's going to end up helping you win in
serious playoff situations. So between the two right now,
especially because the Bills aregoing to be at home, kind of
hard not to favor the Bills in their next match up.

Well, I think, and you guys know, throughout this year I've
called Miami 49er Junior, right?Because they stole my offensive
coordinator from the Niners, Mike McDaniels, who I love.
We could wear the same outfits. You guys know that, right?
I love his watch, I love his shoes.
I'm like, I am so in his closet.But besides that, I think a lot
of people would put this right back to what they've been saying

is that Miami can't beat good teams and they're showing it.
The last good team they beat wasDecember Dallas, they beat the
Cowboys. So everybody that they that they
win really have losing records. So they're not playing anybody
good. And so here we are again, You're
playing the Bills and you can't get the win.

Let's look at the stats, by the way.
They were 00 first quarter. Nobody scored, right?
Boring. Boring.
And then Miami went up. It was fourteen to seven in the
second quarter, third quarter, no points again.
And then the fourth quarter. And This is why these teams You
cannot let these teams hang around.

You can't give people a chance. In this league.
You can score 7 points with 40 seconds.
You just can't leave it. And they they let the Bills hang
around. And then the fourth quarter they
came up with two touchdowns. One was a 9495 or 96 yard run
and that just lit. That just lit the bill's mafia
on fire and they smell blood andthey took over.

WWE, That's what they do. And it what's funny to me and
you guys know how I always thinkabout the Intua, which is the

I'm keeping an eye out on who's talking about me.
Well, we have the receipts and you didn't win and so.

the Niners are an amazing traveling team.
We know. But Bill's Mafia, I would say
it's a close second because theytravel.
Oh yeah, and there was a ton of Bills fans in Miami.
It was. 40° warmer in Miami thanit was in Buffalo, so they were
happy to leave town. Want a home game?

Were in shorts, They were looking at a bathing suit.
They were like, this is great, yeah.
That is so funny. Yeah.
So the Bills will take on the Steelers at home.
Yep. And Miami, which will be
interesting. Barry Miami.
He's going to Kansas to play Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift
and Travis Kelsey. Yeah, I'm just saying.

It'll be good. I mean, so that's going to be
interesting and this is kind of the the the other thing why we
love football so much is Tyreke was formerly a Kansas City
chief, right, we. Love this kind of like bitter.

And so now Tyreke, he's going tofix his house first, and then

he's gonna go back to where he wasn't.

They've won six games out of 17.That's not a good record.
And they had nothing to lose. They're out of the playoffs.
Eagles were just in the Super Bowl last year.

That was a straight nose dive. They've lost five games out of
the last 6. And what's what's changed in
those five games? Happened in the last like almost
two months. And you have.

this team. They were ten in one eight weeks

I'm like, they were fly, fly allover when they were ten, were
silent in the last like six weeks, right?
Yeah, but their offensive coordinator went to Arizona, who
they actually lost to last week,right?

I don't know how. To say his name went to the

Hurts. Jalen, what is happening?
You are limping into the playoffs.
At this point, I wouldn't say you deserve to even be there,

quarterback. You make more money, have a
short term memory, shake this off, move on, you're going to go
play Tampa, who by the way, theycould win.

Well, Tampa has the second best run defense in the past month.
So who's going to be running foryou?
Whether it's Jalen Hurts, Swift,Browns coming back, I don't
know. But you're going up against a
team that knows how to stop the run defense.
You have to get creative. And as of late, the Eagles
haven't been creative. It's not fair.
I would say, I would go on to say that Nick Sirion, the head

coach who in my opinion we talked about this last podcast,

Head coach. Most head coaches don't talk
like that. Would you agree?
You let the players do what theydo, but as a head coach, you
kind of rise above right? And I just keep going back to

all of my number one players were on the bench.

Because we have they. Should 100% we so for the
newbies? Yes.
So I mean it's we're going into playoffs.
You want to keep your key players healthy.
This is so important because because going into the games
that really count that are getting you to the Super Bowl,
which is the ultimate goal, you need to be healthy and have your

players, you know your best players, all healthy.
So it's not important this week unless you really need it.
Certain teams do. The Niners do not.
They've already secured say thatone more time.
The Niners do not. Thank you.
People in the back, the Niners were the number one seed.
And for the newbies, what we're saying is these teams fight so
long to get the number one seed so that they can actually have

everything you just talked about.
That way they have the last gamethey can sit, their starters,
yes, many of them are hurt. So you want to rest.
Stringers get to play and the third stringers in the second.
Fourth string kicker out there right now?
Yeah. For that, yeah.
And you're excited for the guys that don't get to play and now
they get to play in front of their families and their

What concerned, I think, which was concerning for most Niner
fans, is our kicker. Right.

is a problem. It concerns me because Moody our

Gold for years. Robbie Gold like never missed
and this is a big thing as a as a football fan.
Those kicks, how many games? I don't know the stats, but how
many games are decided by a kick?
I'll tell you what. In the playoffs, A.

Three points means a lot. And you have to be able to rely
on your kicker and when you havea good kicker as a as a coach,

you coach that way. I know I have a good kicker.
And if you don't have a good kicker, now you're going at it

don't trust your kicker. So it it's a lot going into
that. So Moody concerns me a little
bit. On top of what we already talked

Coach, the coach calls. What we're getting into that.
So Jameis Winston was in now. He hasn't had a lot of playing

going to run for a touchdown. Game's over.
Supposedly the whole team. We're gonna get into it.

the field and starts screaming. That was effing BS.

meanie, we're not going to like score, right?
Taking a knee means we're not going to score.

OK, so taking a knee means like,we're just not even going to try

to score. And that can be a big deal,
especially for the gambling world.

the Saints coach, called in the play.

So what happens is everybody pretends that we're going to run
a play and nobody really does anything right, The players

He makes that call. They go into a huddle, right?
Players go into a huddle, right?Conversations had right and then
it does not. And and then run out the clock
and the game's over. But.
So the Saints lined up in that victory formation.
So the other team was like chilling thinking that it was

going to just end. And what happened?
The Saints did what? So pretty much James Winston
said this to his coach and the rules and said I'm going to run
it in for a touchdown. He didn't run it in the.
Running run, run for a touchdown.
But then in the locker room interviews when they were
interviewing him, Jameis Winstoncame out and said no, this was a

team decision. This was an entire team decision
to. He went back to the huddle.
We went back to the huddle and decided to go touchdown.
But then when Saints coach went to do his press conference, he
came out and said I want to apologize, that's not who we
are. This isn't who we want to be.
That wasn't the play that was called.
Right. Yeah, but here's what What

happened is in the huddle. They changed the call.
In my opinion, Winston Yeah, so they wanted so, so they wanted
their running back. OK, one of the running backs, I
forget his name. One of the running backs had
just got to the Saints. He hadn't scored a touchdown all
year. Yeah, and I think he scored like
17 or something. He had an amazing year before

that, but with the Saints he hadzero touchdowns.
They were like, this is our chance we're going to get.
In the huddle, something happened, I think it was
Jameson, Winston said. Hey, you want to score a
touchdown? Yeah, OK.
But the call is no formation, you know.
Formation. They're second, They're second.
And so it was a team decision, right?
Yes. So we're just going to kind of
