Speaker 1 (00:01):
Okay.
So to help answer your questionabsolutely on Iblis and the
Fodlon's account and the Vikingvarials and that kind of thing,

(00:32):
for what's going on there onthat particular front.
So another part is, obviouslythis has to do a lot with Alpha
Bloat.
You have to know alpha bloat.
Go rewatch Thor's videos onthat if you want to know more
details on that particular frontWith that.

(00:53):
This is highly important forwhat's going on there.
You cannot understand thesetraditions and what possible
things you can pull from withouthaving that particular aspect
of it as well.
One of the things that isrecurrent with all this, no

(01:15):
matter what, though, is a feastfor remembering of one's
ancestors and whatnot.
It is not a day of sorrow, buta day of joy instead, in terms
of bringing them back with it,remember in the mythological
terms, for what's going on withit.
If you were to cry, you wereonly to add to the resounding

(01:38):
river and whatnot in the variousdifferent traditions and make
it harder for them to crossrather than not, and be more
reliant upon the ferryman thannecessary, and that kind of
thing.
For what's going on.
It was a day of celebration, not a day of making it, so that
way we would go in and doanything negative and whatnot

(02:03):
and bring in any of our sorrowon that particular day.
I don't fully understand thisaspect yet.
But there's another aspect thathas to do with bears.
So right around this time ofyear is when the bear enters its
lair or cave and it closes itpermanently for winter.
In the northern hemisphere Ourancestors would have called it I

(02:26):
might be butchering thisslightly Bjorn Akarvaldr, which
would be Bear Night, and thenthere would be a nine days
afterwards, after Halloween iswhen this usually occurred.
You can see this being markedon the Fremstavens.
Anyway, the entireunderstanding of this particular

(02:56):
point is that the bear is ahuge part of the occult
understanding of things with itand we seem to have based our
entire understanding of lifearound the bear and it going
into its hibernation time periodfor this time of year, and all
of our holidays are based uponit to a large degree.

(03:19):
For what's going on here, as inmy estimation?
What's going on here is, in myestimation, so and the natural
cycle of the bears the she-bearwould be impregnated around the
summer solstice.
She then gives birth to hercubs around the winter solstice,
which of course is the actualYule night for Norse paganism,

(03:43):
and according to science, theshe-bear can select her embryos
which to them excuse me, whichof them who will be born and
grow up before they arephysically born.
She can also retain unbornembryos in the womb and give
birth a second round.
It's very clear that ourancestors followed the cycle of

(04:05):
nature and since the bearfollowed it, very much so and
are the best in terms of acreature, that was that way, as
well as it being one of thosepowerful things that there was
during that time period andwhatnot to be feared and to be
venerated.
Time period, that time periodand whatnot to be feared and to

(04:29):
be, uh, venerated, um that youknow we've been doing this, some
of the stuff that relates tothe bear and following its
natural cycles, um, all the wayfrom the stone ages, would be
most likely the case during thistime of year.
We would go into the ancientburial mounds and bring out the
ancestors and interact with themand whatnot, assuming that they

(04:50):
were buried instead of, youknow, cremated, and we would
also make it so that way, thechildren who had gone through
their teething phase, wherethey're now teething and they've
lost, losing all of their babyteeth and they're gaining their
adult teeth.

(05:10):
This would mark them enteringinto their own being and no
longer just a child but becomingof adulthood and the beginnings
of that, the coming ofadulthood and the beginnings of
that.
That.
The people that they were namedafter because we always named
them after the spirit of thedeceased and whatnot that we

(05:38):
would make it so that way.
They would go into there andthey would be given the gifts of
who they are.
Now.
This didn't happen on thisnight.
They would begin the process ofritual rebirth and initiation
and whatnot, and that wouldhappen around Yul time and
Christmas time period and theexchanging of gifts and that
kind of stuff.
It was an inheritance for whatit is, with Freyr being given

(06:12):
Alfheim as a teething gift, asit is in the mythology for
what's going on there.
So there's this that's beingplayed with too.
We also see this in othertraditions that are going on.
With it, not just say theProto-Indo-Europeans, say the
proto-Indo-Europeans, but alsothe ancient Jewish people.
They would take their burieddead, put them into their
version of a burial mound.
It's different, of course.

(06:32):
They would make it so that way.
They would put them inside ofthese ossuaries, these boxes
that are just big enough for thethigh bones, femurs to be put
out, and across the shape andthen the skull on top, and then
everything could be fit intothat box, or the skeleton and
whatnot, once the body had beencompletely decayed.

(06:54):
And so beforehand, they wouldput it onto a table area that
they would lay out, they wouldlet the body decay slowly and
whatnot.
Then, a year later and a daylater, they would come in, they
would wash the body, they wouldwash the bones, they would do
all this other stuff that's leftwith it and they'd put it into
this container for it.
So this is where the skull andcrossbone notion comes from, but

(07:19):
it is also the same notion thatwe get for it in terms of what
we did with it.
It is shown in certain ritualsthat we would bring out the head
and we would bring out thefemur and whatnot, and this goes
back even so old that we don'teven know exactly how old it is.
But Neanderthal man did it andit is believed that the

(07:46):
reasoning for this was that theyou know thigh bones that was
there, the femur and whatnotmade it so.
That way it represented earthand our needing to be on it, and
then the head representedspirituality in the higher plane
, and so you have heaven andearth that's represented by
these two things that are there, that are going on with that on

(08:08):
that particular point in timefor what's going on, which then
of course, gives us anotherinkling into things, for what
was happening.
Thor mentioned this, at least inpart, in his most recent video
that he did about a I don't knowa week ago or something like
that, that had to do with thecarving of pumpkins here in the

(08:29):
United States and that kind ofstuff with it.
Originally it was turnips thatthey did instead, and the
turnips were done in such a wayto make him Jack-o'-lantern, so
it would be the head of theperson and that kind of stuff,
the head of the being, and youwould put the candle inside of
it.
That was going on.
They found it easier to do withpumpkins over here, so that's
how it became a thing in theunited states, uh, and and

(08:53):
whatnot, and then that spread toother parts of the world
afterwards.
So what happens is is that youhave the head being represented
there and it's supposed torepresent again the spiritual
realm and whatnot, the higherplanes, and then you put the

(09:16):
candle in it with the flame thatrepresents the eternity of the
soul, the eternity of thatparticular being and whatnot,
and that it's illuminated again, and that's another part of
what's going on on theseparticular days.
So you can go and carve one foryour father specifically and
have his eternal flame make itso that way it is represented in
that particular thing with it.

(09:37):
So now we have Alpha Bluet.
We have some of the Celticstuff that's coming in that
you've talked about, that'sgoing on with it.
We have very ancient stuff withthe bear rites and rituals that
are going on with it.
We've talked about the childrenand them getting certain
aspects of this for what'scoming in with their spiritual

(09:58):
inheritance, assuming that theymet certain qualifications.
I'm not getting into here nowbecause this is more about the
ritualist for the honoring ofthe dead and whatnot.
We have alpha bloat that youneed to look into.
These are all things that wouldbe great starting points for
you, in my opinion.
To just touch on the other partbriefly, for some of the
ritualistic stuff with it itwould be the Koryos warriors

(10:20):
that would go out.
They were considered to be deadand whatnot, because they were
not a longer part of the tribeand that kind of thing and they
had to go through the initiationrituals and wait until they
were reborn again.
The women had their ownvariation of what was going on
there for that.
This is where we get thedressing up and the various
different spirits and thevarious different monsters and

(10:41):
things of this particular naturethat were going on with it.
Different monsters and thingsof this particular nature that
were going on with it becausethey were that way.
They would go and raid thevillages and quotation marks or
things would be put out for themwhere they go on a procession,
etc.
For what's going on there.
Again, I'm not getting into allof that right now because that's
not your main focus and yourmain um point for what's going
on here, for for what's good.
But just know that a lot ofthis is also attached to this

(11:03):
type of thing.
It's not just a death ritual,it's also a rebirth ritual
that's going on there for thechildren that are going to be
inheriting the stuff from thatwhich gets into the rune Othala.
So Othala was about inheritance.
It was not just a physicalinheritance, it was a spiritual
inheritance that was going onand it had to do with the fact

(11:27):
that you know the person thatwas inside of that burial mound,
they would be the ones that'sgoing into it to receive the
gifts that was left in theburial mound by them to regain
from the person who wasliterally the new incarnation of
that individual from there andthe newborn child for it.
And on this particular front,we also add in the fact that on

(11:51):
top of that that you weresupposed to wait a certain
amount of time before you coulddo that.
This was varied upon place andtradition and whatnot.
Some of them it was a setamount of years, variant upon
place and tradition and whatnot.
Some of them it was a setamount of years.
Some of them it was, you know, half of the age of when the
person died.
So if the person died at theage 70, 70, you have to wait 35

(12:14):
years before that spirit to callback into the flesh and whatnot
.
This point doesn't matter quiteas much in terms of what you're
looking at and whatnot, becauseyou're not trying to call
anybody back at this particularpoint in time period.
But I also know that you have achild on the way that's going
to be born within the next fewmonths, if my memory serves me

(12:36):
correctly, and that kind ofstuff.
So this could be important toyou later on with this and
whatnot.
So I am sharing some of thatand, for anybody who already has
this and might be listening tothat on that particular front,
that I'll be posting here alsocould be beneficial to them on
that.
So, anyway, that's that basicpart for that.

(12:57):
I'm gonna move on to some other.
During this time period, foodwas also put out, usually in the
form of porridge and whatnot,in order to make it so.
That way, it would be a giftfor those spirits and whatnot,
and also for the you know, khorias, warriors and for the
other people that were doingtheir things.
That needed to be done withthat for what's happening here,

(13:19):
and so that's a big part of thistoo, so you could do some sort
of food offering.
That's going on here.
On this particular front.
This is the time period whenthe wild hunt would occur and,
according to certain traditionsand whatnot, you would go out
and kill the winter spirits.
This part's true of all of them.
It doesn't matter for what'shappening, but if you were to

(13:41):
kill a bear, then you wouldbecome a berserker, and if you
were to kill a wolf, you'dbecome an wolf-heading, and so
that would be parts of this thatgo on with that.
There's a whole mythologicalaspect that can play into this.
I'm not saying will that gointo this, but that's something

(14:02):
else to consider here for what'shappening.
Anyway, the burial mound aspectalso made it so.
That way there would beguardians that make it so the
only people who were ready andwho passed the test that needed
to be done were allowed to gointo it.
And there's lots of symbolicritual stuff there that most
likely occurred and whatnot.
We'll not be going into it herebecause it's not part of the

(14:26):
main question that you asked andwhatnot.
Also, during this time period, mistletoe would be cut from the
trees or brought down from thetrees.
This was prescribed in variousdifferent ways the Druidic
people.
They had to cut it with a goldknife or a silver knife,

(14:47):
depending upon the tradition, usually gold, if I remember
correctly.
And then in the Nordiccountries, at least in Sweden,
you had to use stones in orderto get the mistletoe down from
the tree and make that happenthat was going on with it and
make it fall that way.

(15:08):
So there was various differentways that it was prescribed in
order to get the mistletoe outfrom it, for, you know kind of
the killing of the winter spiritidea again, until it's time to
be revived and whatnot later on.
And you keep the mistletoeuntil Christmas time period,
yule, so there's that componentas well.

(15:31):
That's done around this timeperiod.
So you could do something withthe mistletoe if you wanted to
as well.
It also appears that there wasa bonfire that was done during
this time period.
Of course they're done at othertimes of the year, but this is
where offerings would be made inthe forms of hay or apples or

(15:52):
other things that were beingharvested during this time
period, in order to make it sothat we can give it to, you know
, to the spirits of the land andto various different people, in
order to make it so that waygood harvest would come later on
.
And again, you know, it's thewhole gift-giving circle,

(16:14):
reciprocity idea that's beengoing on there, coming back
around to the head idea with thejack-o'-lantern and the skull
and all that kind of stuff withit.
Odin sacrifices his eye and hemakes it so that way.
By doing so he is blind in oneeye, that eye is dead and the

(16:37):
other one is alive.
So now he makes it so, that wayhe has both sight into the
world of the dead and into theworld of the living in order to
make it so.
That way he can have totalknowledge of things or what's
going on, the knowledge of bothrealms.
And where does he do this?
He does this at Mimir's Brunner, mimir's well.

(17:00):
And who does he talk to?
Mimir's head?
He carries around with him.
Again, the ancestral cult of theskull is very important, for
this is what I'm trying to bringup here, and so you know
there's something with that aswell.
I'm not entirely certainexactly how deep it goes,

(17:24):
exactly how important it was,but clearly it was very, very
important for what it is.
So just another note on that.
All right, so we've talked alot about the burial mound and
its aspects of things with it,of course, and its aspects of
things with it, of course.
There's another one, which isthe other side, which has to do
with the cremation part ofthings or what's going on there.

(17:49):
And, as we can see in the mythsthat have to do with Balder and
him being put on a ship and allthat, clearly there's an
element there that has to dowith the four elements that are
going in with this as well.
This is not some wiccanrevitalization idea and what.
This is a very ancient ideathat goes back way before any
wicca crap happened in any wayship or form honoring the four

(18:12):
elements.
We can see this with the factthat they did this back in
ancient greece and mentionedthem 2500 years ago and
backwards as well, and some ofthe philosophy and that kind of
stuff.
So clearly this is somethingmuch older than any new age
wicca crap is the point.
All right.
So the you have here is you haveit symbolically in the form of

(18:34):
a ship and then it gets burnedand all of that.
A ship needs sails in order togo.
So there's the wind portion ofthat, and also, when you burn it
, it goes into the four windsand scatters I mean, goes into
the winds and scatters the fourelements everywhere.
For what's going on?
You burn it, that gives you thefire, the ship's made out of
wood and the body is from theearth in and of itself.

(18:56):
So you have to where you havethe earthen elements right there
, and of course, the ship is onwater and how it works out, and
so you have all four elementsthat need to be there in order
to make this work for thatparticular point as well.
So you can play around with thisparticular concept if you want
to make an altar of some sort toyour father with with it.

(19:19):
So basically, what you could dohere is you can have kind of a
uh, you know, thejack-o'-lantern head of the or
the skull or whatever in themiddle with a candle of it
representing things of thatparticular nature.
Then you can make it so.
That way you have some sort offood offering, maybe what your

(19:41):
father's favorite food, uh, wasin some capacity, uh or another
and whatnot.
You can play around with therune othala, that has to do with
these things, and other runesthat have to do with
reincarnation and and death,like the?
U tree for the and and whatnot, whatnot.
So you can play around withthese things if you want to.

(20:02):
And then on top of that, youcan also make it so that you
have something that representsthe four different directions
and the four place each oneinside of it.
Again, this is not a Wiccan idea.
That's bullshit when peoplecome to it.
It's a very ancient conceptthat the Wiccan tradition has
kept alive, if you will, andtaken from much, much earlier

(20:24):
sources, as can be seen eveninside of the mythological stuff
here for what's going on there.
So you can do any and all ofthese things.
You can do none of the thingsthat have been going on with it.
Look into Iblen Fadlan'saccount.
The shape of the ship is also awomb.
So you're going womb to tombidea for what's going on there.

(20:47):
The great birth mother that weall spring from, that gives life
and then takes it all away andwe all go back to this is all
being played out.
It's being played out on theburial mound concept as well.
This is the time of totaltransition from one side to
another, from light to darknessand back again, and that kind of
thing.
This is why it's the daybetween the worlds that's

(21:09):
happening for what's going on.
This is just some of the stuffto play around with, some of the
ideas that can be looked at.
You can do maybe a votiveoffering of a bear or something
like that.
You know I'm not saying a realbear, but like some sort of
carved bear.
Or you know, if you havesomething like a bear tooth, you

(21:31):
could maybe do something likethat or a bear skin.
Any of these things can goalong with it as well.
So these are the variousdifferent aspects of it this is
true for both sides, meaning theGaelic, celtic side as well as
the Nordic side and kind ofbringing traditions and

(21:51):
combination of things with itthere.
I hope you found this useful insome way, shape or form, and
giving you food for thought insome way, shape or form.
I'm going to give you food forthought in some way, shape or
form.
You can play around with lotsof these different concepts for
what it is.
I would definitely reallyencourage you to go back and

(22:11):
read Edelon's account for sure, and if you can't, then at least
video of it that Thor did.
That's, on it, very importantfor that type of stuff.
Take the information that Iprovided here and then take what
resonates with you and drop therest of it and make it your own
and just use this as a generaloutline of things that can be

(22:36):
said or done or any of theseother things that have been
talked about and whatnot.
This is my suggestion to all ofyou that might be listening to
this, and obviously rodas is theone that specifically requested
this here.
So more power to you, specifically, rather, and making

(22:57):
it so that way you have a goodtime with your father and
whatnot.
And remember.
This is a day of celebration, which is the most important
concept here.
This is not a day for mourning, right?
That's the most important thing.
I want you to take away fromthis for what it is.
It doesn't mean you can't beemotional about it.

(23:19):
I'm just saying that focus onthe good memories of him and
whatnot.
That's what would have beendone by our ancestors.
