Speaker 1 (00:00):
Until humanity decides to make it so that way
they put the love for truth andfreedom above the love of money
and power and influence andother things of this particular
nature and whatnot, we willcontinue to have the same

(00:21):
problems that we wish weren'tthere.
Thank you.

(01:20):
Hello and welcome back to theForbidden Knowledge podcast.
My name is Nathaniel Hoitmacherand I am the show's host.
Today we'll be going on to thenext step and the final step of
the initiate's journey for thepostulant phase, and this step
has to do with what I call truecare, what other people have

(01:40):
called true care.
Some traditions have called itthe generative principle, which
is important, and we'll comeback to that particular aspect
of it later and whatnot.
But this is something that mostpeople don't understand how
much this impacts literallyeverything in terms of what goes

(02:05):
on in their life, why they dowhat they do and things of this
particular nature.
If you don't care aboutsomething, it doesn't get done
or it gets you know half-assed,so to speak.
You just put in the bareminimum effort to do what's
going on there and you don'tmake it so that way.

(02:29):
You do everything to the utmostthat you can with it.
This is the part that we talkedabout in terms of living in
integrity earlier in the series.
It has to do with three partsof ourself our thoughts, our
emotions and our actions andmaking it so that way they're
all in alignment and inagreement, and only then can it
make it so that way you go andhave that happen, and so the

(02:52):
true care part, of course, isthe emotional aspect of it.
It can also be influenced bythe logical aspect of things
with it.
If you can make it so that way,you can empathize with those
particular arguments that arebeing made, that are logical, by
other people and whatnot.
This can help with it too, orjust from reasoning out for

(03:13):
yourself and making thatparticular thing happen.
Uh, there with it.
And so the world is as screwedup as it is is because people
don't care about it enough forwhat's going on with it to take
action in their own ways tochange the world, and not enough

(03:34):
of us are doing that.
It is quite a terrible state ofbeing that the world is in.
It doesn't have to be.
I'm not saying all aspects ofit are bad, or that the world is
in, it doesn't have to be.
I'm not saying all aspects ofit are bad or whatever the deal
is, but we are trending in thewrong direction, is the point.
And until humanity decides tomake it so that way, they put

(04:00):
the love for truth and freedomabove the love of money and
power and influence and otherthings of this particular nature
and whatnot, we will continueto have the same problems that
we wish weren't there for it.

(04:21):
Weren't there for it, we cannotachieve the noble aim of making
it so that way humanity haspeace and abundance and
prosperity and freedom and anymodicum of security and all
these other things that humanityclaims that it wants for itself
, until we have enough care toactually go and change the way

(04:43):
that we behave in this world bychanging our consciousness and
making it so.
That way we can empathize withothers and the world around us
and what surrounds us and thethings that are going on within
our own lives, and decide thatenough is enough.
We don't want to play this typeof game anymoreity,
unfortunately, is like a littlekid who, you know, is playing

(05:08):
with some fire and that kind ofthing with it and keeps burning
themselves with that, thinkingthat we can just keep doing the
exact same thing over and overagain and not get burned, which
of course we can't.
That's not how the laws of thisparticular reality work,
whether we like it or not, andwe also are a species with

(05:30):
amnesia, meaning that we haveforgotten the cycles of history
and our own histories, andmaking it so that way, we don't
understand how the rules of thisreality work to the level that
we should, and so we keep makingthe same mistakes over and over
and over again, both on apersonal level and a collective

(05:50):
level for things.
So when we have true care, whenwe make it so that we we can
have this level of capacity withinside of us, things can really
change.
Then you know it's like do youreally care about taking care of
your body and eating properlyand whatnot, or are you only

(06:15):
paying lip service to it?
Do you really care about makingit?

(06:40):
So?
That way you take care of theneeds of the people around.
You want to actually deal withthe problems that are the
underlying issues thatcontinuously allow those things
to be in existence, for what'sgoing on.
Too many of us do not actuallycare, and this part here is what

(07:02):
binds everything else together.
If you can't come to where youcare about something enough, to
where you want to change thingswithin yourself or around you
enough to make it so that wayyou take action for it,
everything's going to be astruggle.
You're going to make it so thatway.

(07:23):
You have to engage in willpowerinstead to get things to change
with it Not to saying that youwon't need willpower, because
you're going to need that too incertain stages, but if you make
it so that way, that's youronly fuel that you have, instead
of also having care as part ofit and compassion as part of it.
And making it so that way, youhave gratitude, and wanting to

(07:44):
make it so that way, you havethe generative aspect of things.
Uh, there with it you're.
You're not going to getanywhere.
Um, it's, it's going to be ahuge struggle if you do, and
it's not going to be worth it toyou in the long run for things.
And that makes it so that way, when you're fighting old habits

(08:05):
and whatnot, willpower may notbe enough in order to change the
things that you want to changein your life, and so that is
kind of an idea for what's goingon there.
You know Buddha's philosophyabout life and the original
sense of it before it was turnedinto a religion and whatnot had

(08:29):
to do with removing sufferingand making it so that way.
It was removing the sufferingfrom yourself as well as from
other people, and so once you'velearned some of these things,
once you've made it so that youunderstand these things, it's
your job to put it out there andhelp alleviate the suffering of

(08:50):
humanity.
And we need to have thementality that, as, as one
suffer, all suffer.
Until we get to that state ofbeing, until we get to the point
where that is our default inconsciousness, that if anybody
is suffering, that all aresuffering, we're not going to
make it.
So.
That way we can actually changeanything for the long term in
the long haul.
Here, unfortunately, it's justbecause that means that we are

(09:13):
looking at things as divided andmaking it so that way, we think
that humanity is somehowseparate from us and whatnot.
We all share the same hopes anddreams and desires.
At least the vast majority ofus are in alignment with that.
We all want the same things oncertain levels, regardless of
who we are and where we comefrom and our personal

(09:35):
backgrounds and all of that.
And too many people are sittingon the sidelines and they're
watching the game and there'svery few players that are in it.
And that's the people who careone way or another for what
they're doing.
Maybe they're not doing it forthe right reasons, maybe they,

(09:56):
maybe they're only doing it forselfish motivations and whatnot,
but they care enough to goafter their goals.
They care enough to make it so.
That way, they bring about thechange that they want to see in
the world, regardless of whetherit's good or not, and we need
way more people who care aboutother people and want to change
things to this level.
For what's going on now?
The reason why I'm alsobringing up buddha is because

(10:18):
this is the importance ofunderstanding his story, for I'm
going to do a condensed versionof this.
But somebody was asking Buddhayou know how many people, how
many beings are there in theuniverse, and whatnot?
And so Buddha was standing atthe banks of one of the rivers
in India I forget which one, itmight have been the Narmada or
the Ganges.
Anyway, he was standing therewith it, and it's a very silty,

(10:43):
sandy bank for the river andwhatnot.
And he said there are morebeings in this universe than
there are grains of sand herethat can be seen with it.
And so then the same personasked well, how many people will
hear your message?
Asked, well, how many peoplewill hear your message?

(11:05):
And then Buddha went andgrabbed a handful of the sand
and said this is how many peoplewill ever hear my message?
And then the person asked LordBuddha, out of those people, how
many of them will actuallyattain enlightenment and
actually, you know, go throughthe process that needs to be

(11:27):
done with it to reach the goalsthat they want to on the
initiate's journey?
And so then buddha took hisother hand, put a little bit on
his uh fingernail, just enoughto cover it, and then pull it
out, and he said this is howmany that will.
And so, of course, the buddhahad no illusion or delusion

(11:49):
about how many people wouldactually go through the journey
and how many people wouldactually partake in it and
whatnot.
He knew it was a very smallminority of people who would
even bother to listen to what hehad to say, and out of those
that listened, even most ofthose wouldn't, you know, go all
the way.
And as buddha's stated earlieralso, you know, and that I

(12:13):
mentioned in this podcastearlier at some point, was that
there were only two mistakes onthe road to truth not Not
starting, which is what happensfor the vast majority of the
people, and then not going allthe way, and that's usually what
happens to almost all theothers.
And so the only way you'regoing to start is if you have

(12:37):
something that makes you changeyour mind for it.
There's got to be somethingthat makes it so that you want
something different for yourselfwith it.
You have to care enough to goand get that for yourself, and
that can be, uh, somethingthat's a motivating event.
You know that you see someonewho you know is a friend of

(12:58):
yours or a family member orsomething like that, maybe even
a celebrity or whatever that'sgone through some sort of
heartache and a hard time andwere motivated enough to change
and then saw that they actuallydid change.
Whatever that change is thatyou want for yourself, and then
you go and get inspired enoughby doing so to actually try to

(13:20):
take your journey.
The question is will you go allthe way towards your goal and
be able to maintain it in thelong term, etc.
And then, unfortunately for mostpeople, that's not what
motivates them.
That's not what gets them towhere they need to go or where
they want to go on activatingany of their particular plans
that they have for life orbecoming a better person, or

(13:42):
whatever it is that's going on.
What really ends up happeningfor most people, what really
makes it so that way they change, is that they need to have
something terrible happen tothem.
They need basically to get downall the way to rock bottom or
near it, and then they realizethat they can't continue living

(14:03):
this way anymore with it ormaybe it's not them, but
somebody else around them thatthey truly care about deeply,
and they see the suffering thatthey've gone through and the
process of stuff with it andthey know if they continue down
that same road, they're going toend up in the same spot and
that they can't do it anymore.
So then they change their mindabout stuff and that's when they

(14:32):
really, you know, try to changethings around and make life
better for themselves.
So that's the most importantpart of all this is that on the
initiates journey is that youhave to care.
You know we talked about howyou have to believe in a higher

(14:53):
power and whatnot is thestepping stone for the first one
episode first episodes that Iwas talking about and the
importance of that, and that youknow there's no faith that's
based in this in any way, shapeor form, except in the beginning
stages, and then everythingelse becomes a science where you
can test it out for yourselfdirectly and see how it works

(15:14):
and the impact that it has onyour life when you start doing
these things with it.
This is one of the areas that'sthe most difficult to give to
somebody else.
You can't really cultivate thisin somebody else that easily
meaning the care part.
You can teach them stuff, youcan make it so that way they

(15:39):
they have that, but you creatingdesire in somebody to want to
change that's beneficial forthem and for other people is
extremely difficult toaccomplish and the only thing
that I can say in thisparticular instance is to tie

(16:04):
things to what you're alreadyinspired by or that you
absolutely cannot stand.
These are the two main thingswith it things you don't want to
come into being.
They're too horrendous that youcan't fathom coming into being.
You want nothing to do withthat or that really boils your
blood.
Uh, with it, that's somethingyou already care about, because
if you care about it enough tomake it so well you get angry

(16:24):
about it and just deal with iton that level and have that
emotional, you know capacity forwhat's going on with it, then
then that's good.
You know, if we see someoneharming a child as an example
for it, most people that youknow have any level of healthy

(16:47):
relationship with themselves, inthe world around themselves and
whatnot, are going to step into try to help that child and
make it so that way they.
They don't allow that sufferingto continue to, to come into
being for them and whatnot.
That that is where therighteous indignation, this
volcanic energy, can come intoyou and be like enough's is

(17:08):
enough of this stuff with it.
We can't have the child bephysically abused or emotionally
abused anymore.
We need to do something aboutthis and whatnot.
And so that is one way of doingthings.
The other way is okay, I havethis goal.
Okay, well, can the goal bebetter?
Can it be more important?
Can the goal be a steppingstone to a bigger goal?

(17:29):
You got to aim up on this typeof stuff.
You got to make it so that wayyou're truly inspired by it.
Life's a struggle anyway, asI've mentioned before, and all
of us know that that have livedon this planet long enough.
You might as well make it so.
That way you have a strugglethat's worthwhile, that gives
you meaning and purpose forthings, that makes it so that
way you want to do better everyday and wake up and do something

(17:50):
that's meaningful with yourlife and help other people as
well as helping yourself out andmaking it so that way, things
just start becoming better andbetter, rather than allowing
chaos to take over and whatnot.
We don't need chaos to teach useverything with it.
We can learn from the mistakesof others.
We can learn from the mistakesof the past.
We can learn from the mistakesof others.
We can learn from the mistakesof the past.
We can learn from the mistakesof our own personal past.

(18:10):
We can make it so that way wecan just reason things out and
realize that that's never goingto work and that isn't a good
idea either.
Most people don't do thesethings, but we don't have to go
down this particular way andthis modality of thinking.
And so you know, if you want tobecome, let's say, financially
free and make it so you don'thave to work for somebody else,

(18:33):
well, that's good.
It'll give you time to work onthe things and do the things you
actually care about, andwhatnot.
But what if there's a biggergoal that you can go behind it,
beyond it, and whatnot?
The goal behind the goal, whatis it that you really want to do
?
The money doesn't matter.
The money is just a means toget other things that you want.

(18:55):
It could be that you want totake vacations.
It could be that you want tospend time with your family.
It could be that you want tomake it so that way you work for
yourself.
It could be that you want towrite a book.
It could be whatever.
So the goal behind the goal isthe more inspiring part, that's
the part that you actually careabout.
You know what your dreams andaspirations and hopes are.
These are the things that arethe other side of the coin, that

(19:18):
can make it so.
That way you care aboutsomething and if you can tie
your hopes, your dreams, youraspirations to this other stuff,
to make it so that way, you canuse that as a way to fuel you
forward, to make it so that wayyou can actually go after what
you truly want some more, somuch more the better and whatnot

(19:40):
.
You know elon musk right now.
He's trying to make it so thatway we go to mars and we land on
there soon enough with peopleand start a colony there and
whatnot.
Maybe he never achieves thatgoal in his lifetime, maybe it's
too far for what we can do atthis stage of stuff of humanity

(20:00):
and maybe he only gets us towhere we have a colony on the
moon.
You know what he did?
Something different went and heand made it so.
When things are changed forbetter and whatnot, he
reinvigorated the space race.
Now there are other people thatare interested in it again for
the first time in decades.
We have to making it so thatway.

(20:22):
People are trying to push thattechnology further and whatnot,
and trying to make it so thatway we can get off this planet
and have another area that wecan live and call a home if
necessary, in case somethinghappens for it.
And he's already changedhistory by doing so and whatnot.
I don't care whether you're likeElon Musk or not.

(20:42):
That's not the point of this.
The point is is that he's aimedso high up on his goal and it
motivates him so much that, evenif he falls short of his actual
goal, he's aimed so high up onhis goal and it motivates him so
much that, even if he fallsshort of his actual goal, he's
still going to accomplishsomething amazing and whatnot.
He cares about this particularproject enough to put money on
the line for it and to make itso.
That way, everything works outwell for him, and you know he

(21:05):
spends a lot of time on thisparticular project and it's
something that's truly inspiring.
That's something that can helpyou with this, to figure out
something that truly inspiresyou.
So this is the most importantthing is the care part.

(21:26):
If you don't care, nothing elseis going to come into, into
being in any way, shape or formwith it.
You're not going to want tolearn about natural law.
You're not going to want tolearn about yourself.
You're not going to want to makechanges in your own life.
You're not going to want to makeit so that way.
You do anything for that andyou want to have this
deep-seated desire in you thatmakes it so that way.

(21:48):
You really want to go afterthings.
You really want to changethings for yourself, for other
people.
So choose a goal for yourselfthat is so inspiring, or choose
a goal for yourself that's soimportant that you can't allow

(22:08):
that stuff to happen anymore.
On the negative side of thingsand whatnot, you know, with the
righteous indignation that we'vebrought up before something,
that you're going to go down thewrong road and you're going to

(22:37):
make things more difficult foryourself, probably those around
you, and definitely for otherpeople and whatnot, as you try
to exploit them further and tryto make it so that way you just
view people as cogwheels in amachine to use for your own aims
, rather than as uniqueindividuals.
And making it so that way youknow you're not adding any more

(23:00):
misery to this world.
Thank you so much for listeningto this podcast.

what not, and that'll make it so.

the meat and potatoes Of things.
