What's up, guys, This is dirty dumb Mysterio and you're
listening to Foundation Radio.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Dead Beat.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Dum Dumb, Peace World, and welcome back to Foundation Radio
(01:37):
for the Takedown on s I. My name is Adam Bernard.
Thank you so much for joining me again today, my guest,
it's arguably the hottest heal in the history of the
wrestling business. Chicken Tender and Chicken Nugget Officia Nodo member
of the Judgment Day, Dirty Dominant Mysterio.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Thank you for joining me, sir.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I'm great, Thanks for having me, absolutely man.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
I appreciate your time. As always talked about it a
little bit here a second ago.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Catching heat. I've been in the live crowds.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
I've heard them boo you effectively out of the stadium
when you joined the Judgment Day and when you were
turning heel when that process started. Did you think you'd
get as much heat from the crowd as you thought
you were. Did you expect any of that or was
it as a surprise every single week that it was
getting worse.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
I think it was a surprise to me and everyone,
you know, we didn't really know what to expect. It
was just something that was presented to me and I
was like Okay, let's run with it and see where
this goes.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
And it's been a wild ride.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Man, it certainly looks like it.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Is there ever a moment when you're in the ring
and you're actually finally able after like ten or fifteen
minutes and then booing you?
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Is are you.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Able to actually speak? Is it overwhelming while you're standing
there in the ring? And if you had times where
you've just been totally thrown off? Like what is that
like for you to have that kind of heat?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I don't I wouldn't say it's overwhelming. It's more just
like like I'm embracing out a little bit, you know,
I feel like I don't know, I'm I understand like
what's going on and what I have to do here,
and like they hate me for some strange reason, and
I'm just trying to speak my mind, even though I
speak the truth.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
So it's just fun.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
I'm out there just you know, and when they start
booing me.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
It, you know, it gives me time to compose myself,
even though I do get a little bit flustered. Gives
me time to compose myself. I'll talk to live, you know,
calm down a little bit. But at the end of
the day.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I'm good.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
That's awesome, man.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Now I wanted to talk about, you know, some stuff
that's coming up. I know i've seen you trading barbs
back and forth with CM Punk. I know that he's
somebody that he mentioned you were someone he mentioned he
would like to start a feud with after this stuff
with Drawmacatyre is over. But he also he also said that,
and I'm quoting him here, he said that dominic collapse
when planes land. That's a pretty heavy charge, my friend,
(03:48):
for anyone who's ever flown on a domestic travel It's
awful that someone would do that.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Do you have any official response to CM Punk for that?
Speaker 4 (03:55):
And what do you hope happens when you're finally able
to get your hands on him in the ring.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Well, first of all, last time I was in the Punk,
I was eleven years old and he thought he was
a big man. Happy birthday to my loser sister. But anyways,
i'd like I'd like to see him now. You know,
I was what my dad's height five five five two,
(04:22):
so now I'm six to one pounds. I've I've seen
I've seen him wrestle, you know, see him punk. So
Let's see what you got, old man.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
And also, I know you're catching heat now with The Rock.
I saw another comment you made this week was or
last week rather?
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
The only thing The Rock has ever done good is
The Mummy too. Do you have any concerns about a
response from the Final Boss? And why did you slander
Walking Tall that way? I mean, that's a great movie.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I never seen it.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
It's a great flick knoxills in it. I think you
would enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
But any any concern about a response from the Final Boss.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Honestly, I'm just tired of these old heads, you know,
thinking they can hang and come in here with this,
you know, younger generation. And I don't even want to
speak for everyone else. I'm speaking for just myself. At
the end of the day, I'm my own person. I'm
the greatest mystery of all time. These old heads want
to come in and get it. They all can see him,
Punk the Rock don't matter. They're just mad because they
(05:21):
don't have hair, and I have the best hair and
the best mustache.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
That is incredibly hard to argue with. That's so I'm
not even gonna I'm not even to try at this point.
But I know also too. I've seen some posts as
well recently. You've compared yourself recently to Anakin Skywalker on
some of the posts you put up on your your
ex account. How much inspiration from him do you draw
when you're in the ring or you're out and performing.
What does Anakin mean to you?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Well?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I love I love me some Anakin Skywalker. You know,
I feel like he was He's one of the originals,
you know, he's his vision was just to do better
and people didn't understand him, and he had to do
what he felt was right.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
And I feel like that's what I'm doing. I feel
like I'm doing what's right. I'm speaking like that.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
So what do I have to do to do it
the hard way?
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Now?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I know recently, I know recently you've had some new
gear on. I saw you had a tribute recently to
Laparca uh and some lucha libres as well. What gear
tribute has been your favorite and do you have any
more in the pipeline that's coming up. I grew up
in the w cw DA, so I'm a big fan
of the Lucha libre and the cruiserweight division.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
Tell me more about that.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
And if you have anything else that that potentially fans
could be looking forward to.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I mean, man, I I love I grew up watching
you know, the whole the BCW, Luchadors and even back
in the day Triple A. And you grew up watching
all those guys. So for me getting you know, inspiration
from gear, whether it's hard to wear my shirt, my boots,
like you said, Podka, it's kind of just you know,
(06:56):
paying homage to some of the great looch doors other
than my dead beat you know that paved obviously for
guys like me to go in there. So as far
as you know, being able to give away what I
have planned for the future, I'll give a hint if
people know their history.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Dress. That's all I'm going to say.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
Very good, very good.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
And also too, you spoke about masks as well recently,
I know you spoke about you call them your dead
beat dad. We'll call them ray Masteria for the purposes
of the conversation, sir, you mentioned wearing a mask before.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Could you see this, you know, potentially you know, putting
the mask on. Could you see that being worked into
a judgment dat storyline? And what would that mean for
you to finally be able to domin the mask.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
No, there's no need to cover this pretty face.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Yea fair, okay, fair, But I'm just asking to ask.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
And there would be no, there's no right.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's all right, And and proving to people who the real.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
And the best mysterial is because I don't need it.
I don't need a mask. I don't need to hide
who I am. I can go out there and be like, hey,
this is me. I'm pretty.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
You're ugly, have the best mustache, have the best hair,
You're ugly. That's just that's the way it is.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
It's life now.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I know.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
I I saw you a little bit of concerned there
in the shark cage, as someone who's afraid of heights,
making sure you're good, making sure there was no issues there.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
So I know you're a little I don't mean you insult.
I know.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Hey, listen, listen, I'm with you, man. But what's next
for you and live? Now that Raquel is in the fold?
You know, Judgment Day seems to be doing.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Very very well. Uh, what's next for.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
For Ria Ripley and uh? And then Damian Priest and
there's some unfinished business there. What can we expect to
see coming from y'all.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Next, I mean, we're done with Priests and Ria, the
Territords whatever they like to call themselves, twins forty years apart.
But anyways, honestly, now that we've gotten rid of some
dead weight in the Judgment Day and we've replaced them
with you know, people like Roquel Carlito and you know
my Waddy Lives, it's it's been, it's been really good
(09:17):
for the Judgment Day. You know, we have Finn and
JD as the World tag team champions. We have to
live as a women's world champion. I would say I
have some unfinished business with Jayu, So there's something of
he has that I might want, not might there's something
of his that I want and that's definitely not Ria.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
We'll see what, We'll see what the Judgment Day has
in the store.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
My last question for you, now that I have you
here as well, it was just announced, I think believe
this morning, that you'll be facing Seth Rollins on October
twenty fifth on SmackDown in Brooklyn, just right up here,
about an hour.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
From where I'm at.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
I know you have some history going back to the
pandemic and the Thunderdome Daines days. What's your plan for
the match? What can we expect to see you bring
out it against Seth freaking Rollins.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Well, if I get the opportunity, I am going to
make sure that Seth is tied up in the ropes
and I'm going to hopefully Live will be there, hand
her a candow stick while she's on the outside. I'll
take a candowstick full on mon the inside and while
set this tied up within the ropes like this, I'm
going to beat the leaving shit out of him with
the cando stick like he did to me.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
It's fair eye for an eye if you will. I
don't disagree for you, sir, but.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Dominic you said it yourself.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Hey listen, I'm just saying I was there. I watched
what happened. A little graphic was a little much, but listen,
it's exciting times. But Dominic Mysteria, I want to thank
you for your time sir and being here.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Go ahead and check out smack Down on October twenty fifth,
and also Monday Night Raw this Monday coming up, the
judgment day will be there in full effect.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
Dominic Masterira, thank you so much for your time. I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Thank you, sir. Gon to be a dead.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
