World, and welcome everybody to a special conversation with the Sportster.
My name is Adam Barnard, and I am here with
one third of your favorite trio of all time, The
New World Order. Kevin Nash, Sir, I mean I was
gonna say that, I was gonna say, I mean, you're
probably you're probably are you the Blancher?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Well, yeah, I'm modd Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, that's a better Yeah, that's probably a better one.
We're here at the Monster Maning Convention here in Cherry Hill,
New Jersey. Kevin, thank you for your time, sir. WWE's
involvement with TNA has led to reports that, you know,
there might be a really solid lucrative TV deal coming.
As someone who was involved with TNA during a really
big renaissance period for them, what's some of your fondest
memories of being in the company.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
I just enjoyed my time there. It kind of was
at the at the end of the politics were kind
of gone. I kind of accomplished what I wanted to
and I was just having fun, which is you know,
that nice place to be in life. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Now, the nWo had a lot of members, obviously you
know the big nWo towards the end of its initial
run in w W. A was ever anybody who wasn't
in the nWo that you wanted to be a part
of it.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
While we were w W. I wanted Booker T. I
wanted Booker T early. But yeah, Booker T and Stevie,
but they both said you guys were too much, so
they were they weren't interested in the spot. But uh,
I mean, god, it seems like, you know, looking back
at the only guys that that weren't in it, we're
(03:01):
stone cold and an undertaker.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
We could have I mean, you could have made it
happen in w W. Yeah, that would have been I
was waiting for that one. Yeah. Now, Hastle Toys, I
want to talk about this because this is absolutely incredible.
It's a figure that's thirty years in the making, It's Diesel.
It's an amazing figure. I now, as a kid, I
collected the old Hasbro toys. It's definitely inside of that
realm as well. Hastle Toys did an amazing job. What's
it like for you to see this? And also the
(03:26):
OS figure as well, which is pretty incredible.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Well, I've known Mitch for gosh, I've no mitching and
his wife for years and years and years, and we
anytime where we met in the circuit, we'd always spend
time together. And then unfortunately his wife passed a year
ago and we started we reconnected on the telephone and
he was just because I had lost my son. He
(03:49):
was just wanting some advice on you know, grieving. I said,
you know, everybody's different, I said, but you got to
keep you know, you gotta keep going forward. I said,
you know, no matter what happens in life, I said,
if you grieve and you decided to curl up in
a ball in a corner, and you do that for
two years on two years, and one day, you eventually
(04:11):
got to stand up and take a step forward. So
I said, just you know, I said, if you continue
to take steps forward, I said, you just have to
deal with it. I said, it's never going to go away.
People that say the time now, time doesn't heal deaths
of wives and deaths of parents and deaths of children.
So it's like, so if we start talking, and he
(04:32):
came up with an idea and he wanted to do
something for his wife. So I said, hey, I said,
you know, he brought up this idea about the figures,
and I said, I'm one hundred percent behind it. So
the a great deal of the proceeds of what we
sell on these figures, it's going to go to the
hospice that took care of his wife before she passed.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
It's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
The figure is absolutely incredible. If you go to hostile
toy dot com, you'll at the bottom of the screen
here you'll see the logo. You'll see the U R
L to go pick this up. These are going to
move fast, so go ahead and get one.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Sir.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Thank you so much for your time.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
I appreciate we We did not we were not able
to avoid the tariffs. And it wasn't It wasn't China
they paid for the tariffs. It was my buddy Mitch.
So anybody out there that thinks that the tariffs are
paid by the country that the tariffs are laid upon,
I can tell you firsthand the tariffs were paid by
(05:32):
my buddy, by my buddy Mitch, not by the Chinese government.
So shit don't work.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Kevin Nash, thank you so much for time. Sorry, I
appreciate it.
