God instructed ancient Israel not to muzzle the mouth of the Oxen which treads the corn, or not to yoke unequal-sized animals to plough. These and other scriptures reveal the mind of God regarding how humanity relates to animals. While God doesn't want us to revere animals, He does not want us to be cruel to them either. So, why does God care about the way Humanity relates to wildlife and specifically, why does God object to cruelty to animals as stewards of His Creation? I discuss the subject of humane treatment of animals in this episode
