S05E10: The Good Shepherd
Series: Foundational truths of Christianity
Host: Rev. Dr. Charles Zuta
We hear a lot about how we ought to be loving God and consequently, loving the work of God. In fact, we hear it so much so that we feel that God only loves us when we are 'performing well' based on men's estimation. However, have we paused to ask 'how much does God also love me? Understanding that God's love is not based on how well we think we are performing, and that nothing can separate us from the love God of can be very liberating and empowering since, all our actions are then in response to His Love. God first loved us when we were unlovable as sinners, how much more will He love us now that we are His children? In this episode, I discuss how God uses the concept of the good shepherd to demonstrate his love for us.
