You got a short praise report.
You can call us.

shy, we got something for you.
You can text us 786-313-3115.
Pastor Ken, I can't wait tojust jump in here, but I can go
(01:01):
on without saying good morningto Pastor Zach.
It's good to have you here thismorning.
How are you doing, sir?
Doing great pops.
Good to be here, great, good tohave you.
Did you drive past the cansafely?
Not like your father.
I hope I drive kind of crazy.
You do?
Yeah, not in front of you.
I try to give you goodtestimony.
Ken (01:22):
I've not experienced this.
Razz (01:27):
And we I've not
experienced this and we have
under controls.
Pastor Joey, good to have youthis morning.
Sir, good to be here, yeah, great.
Now let's, let's, let's takeoff.
First of all, ken, you'vetraveled extensively.
You've been in ministry since ayouth, um and uh, I just I'm
just wondering, hey, what arethe, what are the signs of what
God is doing in the world today?
And also, I'm wanting to hearfrom you what are the signs of
(01:52):
what the world is doing withoutGod today?
Ken (01:57):
You know I can't speak much
about the whole world.
My world travel has been verylimited, especially over the
whole world.
My world travel has been verylimited and especially over the
last decade it's been so muchdomestic travel.
My burden has been so much forthis nation and I guess one of
the things that we have toacknowledge that is happening is
(02:19):
that the world, the whole world, has been affected and it's
being affected by America's turnfrom God, america's decline,
and for more than two and a halfcenturies at least, this nation
has been the most consequentialnation on earth and now it has
rapidly become among the leastconsequential on earth and
(02:41):
that's affecting everything.
Sort of the power vacuum createdby America's departure from
significant events in the worldhas caused tyrants to seize the
opportunity, move their assetsand play their games.
It's an interesting thing towatch.
So it has been again to me.
(03:03):
America's decline is the directresult of america's backsliding
and that decline has in a in aweird way accelerated.
Uh, you know, prophetic themes, all of those things that we've
wondered for so long about.
Why is?
Why is america absent, orseemingly absent, in bible
(03:24):
prophecy and events like Magoginvasion, you know?
all of that stuff, and now, allof a sudden, we don't have to
ask that question.
Tiffany (03:31):
Now we have the answers
to it.
Ken (03:33):
So it seems to me like
what's happening in the world
and America's decline hasaccelerated all of those things.
And now we find ourselvesremembering the words of our
Savior about man when the Son ofman comes, will he find faith
on the earth?
It was like an open-ended sortof question from him, the
(03:54):
indication that there would bewidespread apostasy.
But at the same time there'sthat going on here, the church
in cruel communist China isabout to break 300 million.
Yeah, and the vast majority ofthe Christians on earth are
Asian.
That's an interesting thingfrom the American perspective,
(04:18):
yeah.
Razz (04:19):
You know it's so good to
hear.
In case you just tuned in,you're listening to W WAYGLP,
miami Florida, 104.7 FM.
This is God's Way Radio, and wehave a guest today, pastor Ken
Graves, who's done extensivetraveling throughout the nation,
throughout the world really, and lately, because of the
circumstances that the wholeworld has been experiencing,
(04:41):
he's been doing most domestictraveling and we asked the
question hey, what do you seeGod doing in the world today,
and what do you see the worlddoing in reference to God today?
And I love his focus, ken, Ijust love your focus, which is,
hey, if you look at UnitedStates as a picture, hey, united
States is slipping fast and faraway from the word of God,
(05:02):
which means that we're slippingfar and fast away from God.
And so here's the thing you saidsomething.
You said we have lost influence, at least for good.
I mean, we are an influence, you know, but it's very
incriminating, I would say.
And if we don't repent, if wedon't turn this thing around,
we're going to reap the fruit ofwhat we've been sowing.
(05:24):
But in that, for the personthat's listening, you know what,
yeah, I can relate to that.
I messed up.
I messed up in my marriage.
I messed up in my job.
I'm I'm addicted to thesethings.
What is god doing is is godworking?
Is god active?
Obviously, we know that.
I just wanted you to vocalizeit and verbalize it, because
what does the word say when sinab abounds?
Ken (05:44):
Grace does more abound.
You know, and that is thebeautiful thing about working as
we do directly with drugaddicts and residential
discipleship, which is the otheraspect of our ministry and
seeing the Lord, the greatphysician, set people free,
change their life.
You know, in times whereChristianity is being persecuted
(06:07):
and it's happening certainlyyou know, the persecution here
would be much greater if wedidn't have our Bill of Rights,
if we didn't have theConstitution.
Just over our northern borderthey're busily changing the
language of their laws.
In Canada, the Canadianparliament wants to make it
(06:28):
illegal to evangelize, to changeanybody's mind, or even they
are, even in their language, calling gender and such things
as myths or morality or myths.
And in the midst of a time ofpersecution, when you see sort
of the spirit of Antichrist atwork in the world, I think about
(06:49):
what the apostles in Acts, chapter 5, prayed.
They prayed, number one God,give us boldness.
Number two, they prayed andstretch forth your hand and heal
, Do miracles in the name ofyour holy child, Jesus, so
validating the name of Christ bymiracles.
We get to see the miracle ofpeople set free.
(07:12):
That has been our whole focusthe miracle of Christ changing
somebody's life and the numberof addicts that have passed
through our program and otherprograms.
It's an interesting reality thatthe secular world refers to
what we do as faith-basedprograms and they say that sort
(07:34):
of patronizingly faith-based, asif everything else were
science-based.
And this is the age of Americangodliness, of scientism.
We're going to follow thescience and science is
everything.
Science is settled.
They act like that while theydeny the science of biology and
everything else.
The faith-based programs arethe only ones that have any
(07:58):
success rate, the only ones thatactually can produce free
people that used to be bound, and getting to see that Raz and
being directly involved in thatis a great thrill.
It's kind of like the man fromGadara, the demoniac, bearing
(08:19):
all his scars.
He had a fruitful ministry inthe Decapolis and that whole
10-city region.
He was going around tellingeverybody who he used to be and
no doubt people were saying, noway, you weren't that guy.
And he would have to open hisrobe and show all the scars and
people would go, no, you are himand we have many of those
former demoniacs that are outnow testifying to the power of
(08:44):
Jesus Christ to set people free.
Razz (08:46):
You know, I so appreciate
your answer.
By the way, you're listening toGod's Way Radio.
This is a live program.
We're in the studio.
You can text us, you can callus 786-313-3115.
We have Pastor Ken Graves herewith us, we have Pastor Zach and
it's good to be here.
You know, in your answer.
I so appreciate it because wesee what the world is doing.
(09:07):
The world is trying to denyChrist, deny the Word, move away
from God, and yet we see whatGod is doing.
God is touching lives andhealing people and so, pastor
Sack, as a young pastor, I thinkyou're kind of like a
demonstration of something thatGod is doing.
But right now we have a phonecall.
So we're going to that call.
Welcome your Life for Jesus.
What area of town are youcalling from?
First of all, Good morning.
Caller (09:29):
This is Carol from
Richmond.
Razz (09:30):
Heights.
How are you, carol, fromRichmond Heights?
What do you want to say toPastor Ken Graves this morning?
What question do you have forhim?
Caller (09:40):
Oh my God, it's a
statement, a question.
Oh my God.
I love the commercial with hisvoice and I'm in the car with my
husband and it just hit mebecause I usually say he sound
like and I say this is my NickNolte Christian brother here.
So with that voice, and when heon the commercial it's the word
oh my God, that thing, dosomething to me.
(10:01):
Oh, if I'm just.
Oh, if I could just.
Oh, my God, that thing, dosomething to me.
Oh, if I'm just.
Oh, if I could just.
Oh, my goodness.
Razz (10:08):
Hey, you sound like a
regular listener.
You've heard Pastor Ken Gravestoday, and now you got him live.
Caller (10:14):
Oh, that's that Nick
Nolte.
And I said who is that thatvoice?
So that's my Christian NickNolte brother, and also, too,
what he was saying about beingdelivered, my God, being
delivered and not just deliveredbut set free.
Yes, and that's what the focusand the goal is in my life to
(10:35):
just walk in a deliverance andbe set free and not to be
ashamed of my testimony and beable to say things to people
when God give me the leading.
There are some things you gotto say in privacy and there are
some things you just have tojust be transparent when God
says, use that testimony, peopleneed to know that God is still
(10:55):
in the delivering and settingfree business.
We don't have to be bound andstay, and we don't have to stay
bound.
You know, I heard an apostle oneday say everybody is an x
something.
Okay, there's an x something.
Everybody don't have to alwaysbe the same.
You know, I'm saying I don'thave to always, uh, struggle
with my attitude or my you know,my disposition.
(11:18):
These things, god love, you'llget that to you quick a delivery
, so that quicker than moneycars, and I don't.
You say God.
Ken (11:24):
I got a nasty disposition.
Caller (11:25):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah
yeah, yeah, that's my business.
Come on, let me show you how toget that back.
Razz (11:29):
Thank you, thank you.
Thank you, thank you so much, you know.
I'm sure Pastor Ken may have aword for you.
Are you on your way to work?
By the way, enjoy, enjoy.
Ken (11:40):
Well, here's Pastor Ken.
Carol, you can't preach, girl, that's good preaching, but it is
the truth that Jesus Christ isthe chain breaker.
He's the one who changes lives.
You know, we live in a timewhere everybody wants to be
recovering, whatever the Lord, jesus Christ, healed a man named
Bartimaeus and he didn't walkaround the rest of his life
going Hi, I'm Bartimaeus, I'm arecovering blind man.
(12:01):
Bartimaeus, I'm a recoveringblind man and I could lose my
sight any time Now, one day at atime.
Everybody just watch out.
He was a whole healed man.
Amen and set free.
Razz (12:14):
Carol, thank you so much
for your call and we appreciate
you.
Glad you're driving in the carwith your husband.
Our regards to him.
God bless you have a greatFriday.
You do the same.
Bye-bye, thank you.
Hey, we go to the next call.
We got a call.
Good morning Life for Jesushere on the air.
What area of town are youcalling from?
Caller (12:32):
I haven't called in a
while, but it's San Peterburg.
Razz (12:35):
Hey, jorito San Peterburg.
We have Pastor Ken Grace fromBangor, maine in the studios
right now.
You could have a question forhim.
Do you have something you wantto say?
Caller (12:52):
yeah, I want to share
something.
Uh, do not give up.
I don't care where you're goingthrough, what situation you're
going through.
I say it because yesterday, yesterday, one of my net in the
list with me has an alcoholproblem, drug problem, and he
said to me we went to church butthe church was.
You know, I forgot my bad.
I forgot there was a changefrom Wednesday to Thursday and
(13:13):
there was a change.
But he wants to surrender toGod.
He wants to surrender to God.
That's Jesse.
Razz (13:19):
That's Jesse or Mike?
No, that's one of my.
Oh, that's not what I asked.
He's in St Petersburg, okay,okay.
Caller (13:25):
If you guys never met
him continue to pray.
Continue to pray for anyproblems.
You have any issues, any familymembers.
Don't give up praying.
Great Command, the Lord answersprayers.
Razz (13:35):
Thank you.
Thank you so much, jorgeito.
Pastor Ken Graves may have aword for you, right?
Caller (13:39):
now.
Razz (13:40):
Thank you.
Caller (13:41):
Whatever you guys are
doing, whoever's there on the
speaker or on the microphone,God is in control.
Razz (13:45):
Amen, thank you.
As you hang up, pastor KenGraves is going to have some
words.
Thank you for calling from StPetersburg and give Pastor Danny
Hodges our regards.
I'm sure Pastor Ken Gravessends his regards for you.
Thank you, pastor Ken.
Ken (13:56):
Anything you want to add
yeah, the brother is so right on
the money.
The Lord Jesus said man oughtalways to pray and not faint,
and we're told in Galatians 6, 9that we should never weary in
doing what's right for a dueseason.
Everything's seasonal, but indue season you will reap if you
faint not.
And perseverance is somethingthat people don't know much
(14:18):
about anymore, but the Word ofGod calls us to it.
Razz (14:22):
Stick to it.
Hey, thank you for texting, pastor Ken.
We just got a text message.
It's short, but I so appreciateit.
It says I just want to thankeveryone for being there.
So that's short.
That's to the point.
Thank you for that text.
If you want to text786-313-3115,.
We continue our conversation.
We started with the questionwhat is God doing in the world
(14:43):
today and what is the worlddoing today?
Reference doing in the worldtoday and what is the world
doing today reference to god forgod or against god.
We had from pastor ken gravesthat god is still healing,
transforming, saving people.
You could argue here on theleft, but here on the focus, god
is at work and we handed it offto pastor zach to see hey, zach
, what do you have to say thismorning to us and to the
listeners?
I guess a question, ken.
You know we were talking abouthow.
Again, jesus morning to us andto the listeners.
Zak (15:05):
I guess a question, ken.
You know we were talking abouthow, again, jesus frees us and
breaks chains of addiction inpeople's lives, and it seems as
if, more than ever before, almost every believer I speak to
still has some type ofaddiction.
Many of the young adults youspeak to, they're either
struggling with pornography, orsome of the girls, they cannot
(15:26):
not be on social media or ontheir phones anxiety, depression
, uh, why do you think, seemslike more than ever before,
there are christians that areconfessing to be believers and
yet they are addicted tosomething other than the lord
you?
Ken (15:40):
know.
The real tragic irony is thatwe came from being the freest
nation on earth.
We believed in freedom, butfreedom was the result of what
we believed about God.
It was a biblical ethic thatproduced it a freedom.
And now we, the so-called freenation, have become slaves and
(16:00):
man.
I'm amazed at the fulfillment ofthe warning of God in
Deuteronomy 28.
God spoke to Moses.
Moses delivered the message tothe people at the border of the
promised land that if you willhonor this covenant, you'll be
so blessed.
And he goes on for 14 versesabout how blessed you'll be.
But if you violate thiscovenant you will be cursed.
(16:23):
And he goes on in graphicdetail for the vast majority of
that chapter about how greatlythey would be cursed.
And in that you know, god saysI will smite you in verse 28.
I'll smite you with madness, blindness and astonishment of
heart.
And even though we are, youknow, free, everybody has taken
(16:47):
that freedom to make themselvesslaves to so many things.
Romans, chapter 6,.
No, you're not His slaves, youare, to whom you yield yourself
in obedience, that is, whetherto God in righteousness or to
sin in unrighteousness.
The process of forging thechains that bind us, link by
(17:11):
link, is a result of our ownchoices that we give ourselves
to something.
The design of God, which isgood, is that we have the
capacity to develop habits.
Habits aren't bad.
Habits will either be your bestservants or they'll become your
cruelest of all masters.
And we have, you know, culturally addicted ourselves.
(17:33):
Do you know what the wordaddict?
This is an interesting thing.
In the old English, addict wasnot a noun.
In the 1826 edition ofWebster's Dictionary, addict was
a verb To addict yourself.
The Apostle Paul said the houseof Stephanas have addicted
themselves, king James Version,to the ministry of the saints.
(17:55):
Addict was a verb that meantdevote, devoted.
You devote yourself tosomething and you become
addicted.
You become devoted and the moreyou devote to it, the more
devoted you are.
Razz (18:10):
It perpetuates yeah, you
reminded me that song addicted
to jesus back in the day.
That's right you know, and it'sfunny.
It's funny because if we don'tmake god our focus and we don't
take all that he has for us, wegradually kind of like slip back
into this pantsy mansy, kind oflike pseudo Sunday morning
entertain me, give me a show, give me some bells, whistles,
(18:33):
give me some smoke, you know, give me three thoughts and a
little poem here.
And whatever happened, and Ithink it's funny.
You remember the person thatcame to this nation and he was
looking for the secret of thenation, went to the industry,
went to the banking banking, went to the commerce and then he
walked into the church and hesaid that's the secret, it's the
pulpit yes, it's what happens.
Ken (18:52):
It was alexis de togville,
the frenchman, what's coming
from the pulpit?
Razz (18:57):
the word of god.
And so, pastor sack, goodquestion.
You know, pastor ken, we havesome text messages.
I just got to get to786-313-3155.
You can text, you can call.
I got one text message herethat says the following Good
morning, pastor Ken.
What was the outcome of yourreligious liberty case?
That was going to the SupremeCourt.
I was praying about it.
(19:17):
That's one of the texts.
Let me go to the second one andyou could answer this in
whatever order you want.
It says Pastor Ken, welcome tochilly Miami.
I know you're smiling andlaughing at that one.
You can't say chilly to someonefrom Bangor, come on, but I
know you're being funny.
I'm praying for Jeanette andfor Jesus to use you mightily
this weekend.
And then we got another textmessage that says any hint of
(19:40):
the heart of the message for ourLEO law enforcement officers
and maybe a taste of what willbe shared later today, or just
general thoughts for our firstresponders.
You don't have to ask this, just a slight topic or direction
, but also don't want tointerrupt the flow this morning.
You're not interrupting theflow, come on anyway.
So, pastor, can we have threethings on the table?
Ken (20:01):
you can tackle anyone you
want, all right.
Number one with the supremecourt.
Yeah, our governor and thelower courts were successful in
stalling and running out theclock so that when it finally
came before the Supreme Court, they agreed that they had enough
on their table, that this wasmoot, that the restrictive
(20:23):
orders that violated ourconstitutional rights, our
God-given rights, had passed.
So they just opted to not.
They just let the lower courtstanding rule, the lower court
ruling stand, and that lowercourt ruling was that it's a
moot point.
So we're ready to drag ourgovernor back into court if she
(20:46):
wants to try it again.
Also, with regard to Mrs Graves, I appreciate the prayers.
She's on the Remand.
She is really on the reboundfrom the China virus.
Having her turn with it, itseemed to hit her harder than it
did anybody else in our house.
Tiffany (21:03):
And the only thing I
got from it if.
Ken (21:05):
I got anything at all, was
just a weirder voice.
So the third thing lawenforcement officers'
appreciation.
We're going to talk as brieflyas I can from the seventh
chapter of Luke and thatcenturion, the highest
commendation for faith given toanybody in the whole ministry of
(21:25):
our Lord Jesus, was given to alaw enforcement officer,
beautiful, who demonstratedfaith, beautiful, beautiful.
Razz (21:31):
You know, the challenge is
on.
I don't know if I've ever heardyou speak in 10 minutes, you
know, but that the challenge, the challenge is on.
I mean it's going to.
Let's be praying.
Let's be praying for past the10 minutes.
10 minutes, that's all right.
Oh, man, I you took thechallenge.
That's, that's usually you.
I love it.
I love it.
Listen, be in prayer.
We want prayer from you, thelistener.
You got, you got a direct lineto jesus.
(21:52):
Pray for today.
For seven years we've been doingthis is going to be the seventh
year.
We have chiefs, we have majors,we have law enforcement agents
here and our whole desire is tojust say thank you with no
strings.
You know they could spot phonybaloney.
They got that meter a mile away.
And here, for seven years, in agenuine way, we've been trying
to say we're here just to saythank you.
(22:12):
We're not trying to get you tocome to church, although that
would be good, uh but we're justhere to say thank you and let
god be God and God do.
And I think, ken, hopefullyyou'll bear witness to it later
today it's an exceptional thing.
I was talking to someone thatsays you know, there's a lot of
dinners, a lot of things, butnothing quite like what God who
gets the credit and the gloryhe's doing here?
(22:32):
Hey, another text message here.
Good morning God's Way Radio.
God bless you and all.
Happy Friday Amazing.
God's Way Radio.
God bless you and all.
Happy Friday Amazing.
Listening to Pastor Ken Grace.
This radio station is a goodreminder of how God is, how he
uses any tool like this to reachus all.
He always finds a way.
He is the King and the Almighty, asking for prayer for Opina
(22:56):
family in Colombia with healthissues, with different members
of my family for healing.
Thank you, lord today.
This is from the Civic Center.
Pastor Ken Grace, I don't knowif you want to say a short
prayer, or Pastor Zach, and thenwe continue 786-313-3115.
We're going to go for prayer, then a small break and then
(23:16):
we'll be right back.
Pastor Zach, you want to leadthe prayer please?
Zak (23:22):
Lord, just pray for the
family in Columbia.
Lord, you know exactly who theyare and what they're going
through.
Lord, pray that you'dstrengthen them and heal them,
lord, and for the many peoplefrom Calvary Chapel, miami, lord
, or God's Way Radio that aredealing with different
sicknesses, god, just pray thatyou'd be strengthening them,
lord, and drawing them near toyou during this time.
God, in Jesus' name, we prayAmen.
Razz (23:38):
Don't go away, we'll be
right back.
So we are back.
(24:15):
Life for jesus here at god'sway, radio 104.7 FM.
This morning we have we'reprivileged to have Pastor Ken
Grace with us in the studio.
We have Pastor Zach, leadpastor in Calvary Chapel, miami,
here in the studios it's a joyfor me to be here and we have
Joey and the controls.
Joey, thank you so much forbeing willing to do this.
(24:37):
Hey, we have a text messagecoming in.
By the way, you can call, youcan text 786-313-3115.
It says here good morning, pastor Ken.
We meet weekly with a group ofyoung guys and we walk them
through the word and talk aboutwhat it means to be a man used
by God.
What would you say is the mostimportant thing to have in order
(25:00):
to be a man used?
Ken (25:04):
by God.
Well, in my opinion, the mostimportant thing is humility.
The humility to be a man underauthority, the humility to
surrender and submit to theLordship of Christ.
There isn't anything moreimportant than that.
It's the one thing that willstop all of God's being able to
use us is our pride.
So what could be more importantthan humility?
(25:26):
We cannot overemphasize itenough, we can't.
We can't overdo it the call torecognize that we are little.
We are utterly dependent uponour Creator.
Without Him, we can do nothing.
He's the vine.
We are utterly dependent uponour creator.
Without him, we can do nothing.
He's the vine we're thebranches Proverbs 13,.
Razz (25:42):
A wise son heeds his
father instruction, but a
scoffer does not listen torebuke.
Pastor Ken, I so appreciatethat answer because if there's
one of the things that you knowI got 68,000 miles on this thing
right now here and one of thethings I noticed today is that
there's a resistance young men,old men, husbands, wives to just
(26:04):
listen.
If you would just listen, youknow, and so you know, even at
counseling they come in and theyjust want to talk and talk and
talk.
Did you come to listen toyourself or did you come to just
ask a question?
Boom, get an answer.
Ken (26:16):
Amen amen, humility.
And humility really is anexpression of faith, and without
faith it's impossible to pleaseGod.
It was the humility of thatcenturion that the Lord marveled
.
He stopped traffic to say didyou hear that?
Because that centurion who saidI am not worthy, I'm not worthy
that you should enter my house, neither thought of myself
(26:36):
worthy to come and speak to you,but it's not necessary.
Just saying you should enter myhouse, neither thought of
myself worthy to come and speakto you, but it's not necessary.
Just say a word and my slavewill be healed, because I myself
also am a man set underauthority.
That is humility.
Razz (26:50):
That's an expression of
faith.
786-313-3115.
You want to text?
You want to call?
You have a question for PastorKen Graves.
Pastor Zach is also here.
You have a question for pastorken graves.
Pastor zach is also here.
You have a question?
We're, we're here.
God, god is moving, god isworking.
Humility we just spoke about itas the ingredient most needed
in any man, woman, son ordaughter that wants to be used
(27:12):
by god, even in the elderly.
You know, I'm getting morerelational to those people
because I'm part of it.
I joined the team.
You know, even when you getolder, just stay humble in a
sense of like god, okay, what'snext?
What do you getting morerelational to those people?
Because I'm part of it, Ijoined the team.
You know, even when you getolder, just stay humble in a
sense of like god, okay, what'snext?
What do you have, pastor sack, what's your experience in in
ministering?
You know, several years, I mean, under your belt as senior lead
pastor.
Uh, humility, uh.
(27:32):
Anything you want to say onthat?
Zak (27:34):
yeah, I think it's
interesting.
Even in this last year, so manylead pastors of different
ministries and differentmovements fell and you could all
link it back to humility.
They either thought they couldget away with sin and God
wouldn't judge them Again thepride, the puffed upness there.
Or you have men that think thatthey deserve to be superstars,
that they deserve to have theirown movements, their own
(27:55):
followings, their own groupiesright, that they're above
another believer and that itdestroys marriages, it destroys
young men, it destroys old men.
Ministries destroys ministries.
Razz (28:06):
Uh, just so important for
us to have humility, to be
little in our own eyes and godto be big I mean it says god
gives grace, yeah to the humble, and and if there's one thing we
need is we need a grace thatwould be received.
I mean we got the patiencegrace of god still happening.
I think wrath is about to bepoured out, but but if we want
(28:27):
that healing grace, you knowjust, man lord, how do we get
this thing right?
786-313-3115, you can text, youcan call.
We have pastor ken graves here.
We have a police lawenforcement appreciation
luncheon today.
We're going to have people fromdifferent agencies CIA, fbi,
law enforcement, differentagencies.
(28:48):
It's going to be a wonderfulafternoon.
Please be in prayer, pastor KenGraves.
Another direction here.
That's just coming into myheart.
You know, I think about.
You mentioned the ruler, youmentioned the centurion.
Think about, you mentioned theruler, you mentioned the
centurion.
Actually, you mentioned thecenturion.
I'm thinking about the ruler.
We don't know the age of thecenturion, but you know, there's
sometimes that focus inchurches today of like we're
(29:10):
just going to go for the young,we're going to go for the young
and I've seen that andunfortunately a lot of the
pastors that I've seen adoptthat they've crashed and they
burn, because god makes noexception of a person.
You know, he loves us olderpeople too, you know.
But.
But the question that I wouldhave for you is what do you see
as a potential, a possibility, aword of god today for the youth
(29:31):
and for the elderly?
Uh, what?
What is god trying to say toanyone that would say god, I
want you, I want to be in thecenter of your presence, lord, I
want to jump in, I want to beall in.
Uh, anything that you have tosay to that?
Ken (29:48):
well, I, I once was young
and now I am old.
Yet I've never seen therighteous forsaken, nor is he
out begging for bread.
It is an amazing thing to uhsome decades, isn't it?
Zach, raz Zach, you don't know,he will To have some decades,
(30:08):
and the decades start racking up.
And one of the things I noticedwhen I was a kid, I made an
observation, I don't know how,by the grace of God.
I observed as a kid that itseemed to me that adults,
clearly, that I was interactingwith, forgot what it.
I observed as a kid that itseemed to me that adults,
clearly, that I was interactingwith forgot what it was like to
be a kid, that adults don'tremember what it was like.
And I said, wow, clearly theyforget that.
(30:29):
So I prayed Lord, please, please, don't let that happen to
me.
Help me to remember Childhood.
Help me remember what it waslike to be a kid when I'm no
longer, when I'm old, and theLord has helped me on that.
Razz (30:40):
I can bear witness.
I love that about you.
So, kenny, just out of the bluehe'll come up with these little
things.
I look at you and say that'sthe little kid in him, but it's
valuable.
He says let the little onescome to me.
Ken (30:52):
Yes, we still are that.
In his eyes, we are still justkids.
Razz (30:57):
Hey, you're listening to
God's Way Radio 104.7 FM on your
radio dial W-A-Y-G-L-P, miami,florida.
This is a live program.
It's called Live for Jesus, soyou can live for Jesus, and
today we have a special guest inthe studio.
Actually, too, we have PastorKen Graves from Calvary Chapel,
bangor, maine, and we havePastor Sag, calvary Chapel,
(31:18):
miami, lead pastor, and you cantext us, you can call us, you
have a question, you have acomment?
Right now we have a caller onthe line.
You've been patiently waiting.
Thank you, welcome, your lifefor Jesus.
What area of town are youcalling from?
Caller (31:32):
Good morning.
Good morning, I'm on my way toLas Olas Boule or drop off the
kids at school.
Razz (31:37):
So you're going to LHM?
First drop them off Tamiami andthen on your way to what is it?
Broward County.
What do you want to say toPastor Ken and the listeners
this morning?
Caller (31:45):
So I want to talk to Ken
about my feelings.
Ken (31:51):
That's funny Feelings, the
overemphasized obsession of
modern males.
Well, I can tell by your goodsarcasm that you, like me, are
not one of those guys who startsevery sentence with I feel like
I feel like, I feel like.
Caller (32:13):
No, actually I had a
question because, you know, I've
been talking to a lot of youngmen and one thing I've seen in
common is especially the men inthe church is I see a lot of
prayer.
They're praying on the Lord forsomething praying on the Lord,
but I don't see a lot ofactively waiting on the Lord.
So my question to you is howwould you define that line
(32:34):
between praying and waiting onthe Lord and actively pursuing
what's been put in your heart?
Ken (32:43):
You know, that's an amazing
reality that the scripture lays
out for us in Psalm 127, andcertainly also in the New
Testament.
But Psalm 127, unless the Lordbuilds a house, they labor in
vain.
Build Unless the Lord washesthe city, the wise men wake if,
but in vain.
So there's a reality, a dualreality, that we have our part
and God has his part ineverything.
(33:03):
It's with regard to provisionwe still got to.
We can trust the Lord forprovision.
We still got to get up and goto work.
And the New Testament we trustthe Lord to bring about change
in us.
And we know about the fruits ofthe Holy Spirit, the process of
sanctification that is the workof God in us.
But then we also have the otherside, where we're told to put
(33:24):
off these deeds and put on.
So we have our part to do, andit is that way.
With every matter that we arealso in prayer about, we should
be seeking the Lord that hewould do what only he can do,
but that also he would open oureyes to what is it that we are
supposed to be doing at the sametime?
Razz (33:44):
Yeah, I so appreciate that
.
What's been being brought up,which is a lot of people say I'm
praying, I'm praying, I'mpraying, but then they're just
idle, they're just waiting.
It's beautiful to see how Jesuscalls his disciples they were
washing the net, they weremending the net how a moving
missile so often it's easier tobe guided than a missile that's
(34:04):
just uh, lethargically, almoststubbornly, uh, saying I'm
praying, but you're holding onto your own feelings, emotions.
You know, desires, you know youwant to see it answered this
way and you're waiting for youranswer, instead of having the
lord lead you to walk by faithand not by sight.
Ken (34:21):
thank you so much.
Yeah, think about how the LordJesus would spit in the mud yeah
wipe it a blind man's eyes.
Yeah, and then tell that blindman, here's what you need to do,
yeah you need to go to the poolof Salem and wash.
Reach your eyes up there.
No, don't, no other, no otherbody of water go there.
But he gave him something to doand faith without works is dead
(34:42):
.
Those actions demonstrated thefaith that brought about that
miraculous healing hey, thankyou so much for your call.
Caller (34:50):
Enjoy your ride thank
you guys, have a great day god
bless you.
Razz (34:54):
You're listening to god's
way radio.
This is the program Live forJesus.
We have special guests in thestudio.
We're here, live in the studio786-313-3115.
You can call, you can text.
You got a question, you got acomment.
You got something in the Biblethat you wrestle with.
Maybe you just need prayer.
(35:14):
Pastor Ken Graves from CalvaryChapel, bangor, maine, is here
Also.
We have Pastor Zach fromCalvary Chapel, bangor, maine,
is here Also.
We have Pastor Zach fromCalvary Chapel, miami, here.
It's good to be here, it's goodto have you, pastor Ken.
I just so appreciate that lastcall and that last thought and
your answer.
I thought about Zacchaeus, howhe's waiting.
But man, he's climbing the tree, he's answering, and even there
(35:35):
too, jesus said before theblessing get down, get food
ready.
I'm in the tree, he's answering, and even there too, Jesus said
before the blessing get down, get food ready.
I'm coming to your house, youknow, and sometimes we should
just get ready and Zacchaeusmade a spectacle of himself.
Ken (35:49):
That's how eager he was to
just see, just get sight.
A man in a robe climbing a tree.
A little man.
A little dude climbing a treein a robe.
Razz (36:02):
You know, pastor Ken, I
don't think you expected to get.
I mean, we've had callers andpeople texting here from
different places, but this oneis from New Hampshire and it
says greeting from New Hampshire, enjoying today's beautiful
interview.
Grateful to Pastor Ken, each ofother servants and the
listening family.
God bless you and your time inMiami.
(36:23):
They signed their name KathySikelli, from formerly Calvary
Chapel, miami, but the Lordcalled her to the colder parts
of the world and now she'sministering there in New
Hampshire.
God bless you, kathy.
786-313-3115.
Do you want to text?
It's 812.
We've extended.
(36:44):

That's me, by the way.
We're going to go a little bitlonger.

It's a joy for me to be here.
The question is, are you there?

(37:05):

(37:39):
So so, hey, thank you.
(38:01):
Thank you, you're listening tolive for jesus, a daily program,
weekdays seven to eight.
We come here to the studios.
We're live.
If you usually listen to aloving word.
Today they've been gracious togive us the time.
We've extended a previousprogram seven to eight as you
could tell, it's about 8, 13 ifmy watch is working properly and
so we're here in the studios.
(38:22):
We have a guest with us, pastorKen Grace from Calvary Chapel,
bangor, maine.
We also have Pastor Zach herefrom Calvary Chapel, miami.
It's good to be here today.
We've had different people call, text from different, but you,
you listening, god may want touse you to text message us.
The phone number is786-313-3115.
(38:45):
Pastor Ken, I got something kindof like on my heart.
I hope and I pray that PastorZach maybe has something he
wants to say, but I would wantto address, I would want to see
the word that God would have foryou, through you, for us today,
as we look at a church and wesee sometimes people that again
not judging, just making anevaluation.
Sometimes they know it, theydon't know it, they want to
(39:07):
serve.
But give me the spotlight.
You know I'm all about Jesus, but please spell my name right
and if I get on the CalvaryChapel magazine magazine, please
let my face be on everythingthat I have to say.
So here's my question to, tothat person that's wanting to,
to serve.
You know it's funny because itgoes in line with what you
already said humility.
(39:27):
But but to that person, how doyou turn the corner from
sometimes being frustratedbecause you want something you
gently, god wants to use us, youknow, but, but you need that
place of like.
I remember the words of Jesus.
You know you guys don't knowwhat spirit you're of.
You know it's like you know so.
So how do we do that today, ina society, in a time where I
(39:50):
think everybody wants to knowwhat I'm eating?
So I gotta take a picture and Igotta post it.
I think everybody wants to know.
I'm sorry about that.
You know what I'm doing and, excuse me, who are you?
I mean, who cares?
Don't you have something better?
But in that society today, what's the word of God to bust
me when I have a tendency ofthat?
To get me right, to get my mindand my actions right, so I
(40:12):
could go on with the Lord andsee God moving through our life?
Ken (40:17):
I think it really is our
lack of focus on Christ, who
made himself of no reputation, someone who took the role of a
slave, and I think it's a lackof focus on him and what he did,
because if we are truefollowers of him and we're going
(40:37):
to actually walk like he did inhumility, we become the slave
to everyone, and the call togreatness from our king was to
be the slave to everyone.
Somebody said it, uh, recentlyum, you know if you really are a
servant or a slave by how youreact when people treat you like
(40:57):
you are one, and it it's veryrevealing, it's very telling
with all of us.
I know in my own heart, when Isense that someone's talking
down to me, I want to go do youknow who I am?
Who do you think you are?
And that is so.
Not like Christ.
And I look at him and when heis my focus, when I actually
(41:18):
continue to follow him, then I'mnot worried about promotion or
you know, or being celebrity.
Status has become available, attainable to everybody.
Now, if you just post the rightyou know video and you can go
viral or whatever.
(41:39):
Everybody it's the obsession ofthe day is to be known and we
who are Christians follow onewho went the exact opposite
direction in every way.
Razz (41:51):
Yeah, it's funny, cy,
before you, maybe you have
something to say on this, butyou just reminded me of that
scripture, unknown butwell-known.
Yeah, that's right, you know.
And.
I think if I, if all believerstoday, would seek to you know
what?
I just want to be unknown.
You know he must increase, Imust decrease.
I don't hear that enough, youknow.
By the way, it's also in myheart.
(42:11):
I want to take this time andjust remind the listeners please
be praying for Pastor MikeMcIntosh, recovering from
quadruple heart bypass, and wegot to touch him.
Don McClure forgot to touch him.
And then Zach Adams, pastorSandy Adams' son, who is
fighting for life.
The doctors didn't give afavorable report the other day.
(42:32):
They didn't give maybediscouraging, but we need God to
move.
So, father, father, we pray.
We pray for these familymembers that they've served and
they've they've, they've justbroken ground and they've been
used by you, lord.
We pray for them this morningin jesus name.
(42:53):
Amen, pastor, sack, anythingyou you want to say, add or
maybe steer us in a differentdirection.
Zak (42:59):
Yeah, I think, even on the
last conversation.
What's the balance of prayerand action?
Because there are a lot ofpeople that you know, hey, can
you serve in this area, let mepray about it, right?
Or hey, I don't know about thisbecause I've been praying about
it, or I really think I shoulddo this because I've been
praying about it.
It seems like some and there'sa balance to this.
It it seems like some andthere's a balance to this.
(43:21):
It seems like those that needto pray more, uh, need to pray
more, and those that should beacting more need to pray a
little bit less and act more.
What's the balance of that ofprayer and action?
Does every action need to haveprayer before it?
Do we see exceptions inscripture?
Did the disciples pray beforethey followed jesus, that
johnson and his armor bearerprayed, or what's the balance of
these things?
Razz (43:41):
Yeah, sometimes the best
way to pray is just obey, start
doing it and then pray whileyou're doing it, jump in, you
know, imagine the.
Ken (43:46):
Lord saying to his
disciples okay, he wants you to
go to town, and you'll see a manwith a pitcher on his head.
You see a man carrying water, follow him and those guys going.
Well, we'll pray about it.
Utterly ridiculous, I mean, you're clearly not a man under
authority.
Or when Paul said to Timothyfor this cause, I urge you to
(44:08):
abide at Ephesus right.
So there was a conversationwhere Paul had said Timothy, I
want you to stay here, there'smore work to be done.
I can't imagine Timothy going.
Razz (44:18):
I'll pray about that,
philemon.
Philemon, you know Ones.
You know an SMS.
He's coming.
I'm going to pray about that.
Paul, you know, why don't youjust embrace and pray while
you're doing?
Ken (44:27):
it.
I'll pray about it 786-313-3115.
Razz (44:33):
You can text us, you can
call us.
It's 820 right now.
So we got like about less than10 minutes to go and we have
Pastor Ken Graves here with andwe have pastor ken graves here
with us.
Uh, we have pastor zach with us.
It's a opportunity to be hereat life for jesus this morning.
It's a program that comes toyou mondays through fridays
seven to eight here at god's wayradio.
(44:54):
If you just tuned in, you'resaying what's going on?
What is this?
This is 104.7 fm.
It'sa radio station that it'shere for god, for the, the word
and also for you, to bless you.
We have a guest with us again, pastor Ken Grace from Calvary
Chapel, bangor, maine, today.
Pastor Ken, I'm thinking youknow it's funny with all these
things that are going on today.
(45:15):
This is the observation I have.
I want you to maybe save if youbear witness or you know,
obviously, the cure.
I see people, for example, inthe car by themselves.
Nobody's in the car.
They got a mask on.
Are they trying to protectthemselves from themselves in
(45:37):
the car?
And I'm not trying.
If you do that, you follow theLord.
But what I'm trying to get atis are we doing it out of safety
or are we doing it out of fear?
So my question is decisions umcontroversy, how are we
responding?
How are the people of godresponding?
Are we responding out of faithor are we responding out of fear
(46:00):
?
What's going on?
Ken (46:03):
You are so right and it's
hard, I must confess.
Right now, brother Razz, I havea hard time not mocking in my
heart that kind of totalcowardice.
I don't know.
Sometimes, on one hand, youwant to be compassionate to
people who are afraid, but also,at the same time, there is a
(46:23):
reality I don't know.
Sometimes, on one hand, youwant to be compassionate to
people who are afraid, but also,at the same time, there is a
reality that somebody needs tobe reproved for being a coward,
that being that absolutelyfaithless, that's so afraid of
death.
And there's legitimate fearsand there's illegitimate fears.
As a parent, we spend our timewith our children when they're
(46:44):
young, helping them to sort outwhat is real and what isn't.
What is a legitimate fear, what's not?
I want you to be legitimatelyconcerned about the danger here
in traffic.
I want you to be unconcernedabout what's under your bed.
There's nothing under there andif I have, we can go down under
the bed together and we'll justgo down there and we'll sleep
under there and you'll realizethat there's nothing under your
(47:05):
bed and that I find there arepeople who have allowed
themselves to be manipulated bythe government and by media and
all of the many voices tellingthem.
You know the illegitimacy ofthis great fear.
With regard to viral death, thenumber one killer in America
(47:26):
right now of young adults ages18 to 42 is fentanyl.
That's killing people, that'sthe pandemic and that's just one
substance.
All the other drugs and all ofthe drug-related deaths, the
real pandemic happening, thereal danger in this modern time,
(47:47):
is pharmakia, and everybody'srunning around with a little
fabric over their face, expressing, demonstrating their
fear and perpetuating the fearby their actions.
Razz (48:00):
Yeah, you know you're
listening to God's Way Radio and
it's an interesting thing.
What we're talking about is arewe, am I responding out of fear
or out of faith?
Am I responding to rhetoric, orhave I looked at the
information, have I gauged it,have I evaluated it?
And the reason for this is justpeople need to be freed.
(48:23):
But here's what I'm talkingabout.
If you're an unbeliever, ifyou're an atheist, if you're an
agnostic, hey, thank you forlistening Right now.
I don't mean to be rude, butI'm really not addressing you.
I'm addressing the people ofGod.
33 to 40% of the church hasdrifted away during the last two
years and they're not comingback Watching the teaching from
(48:43):
your bed, comfortable in yourjammies.
I mean, you know, is that whatJesus went to the cross for?
Is that what Jesus said?
Is that why Hebrews what is it?
1025 says do not forsake theassembling of the brethren,
especially as you see the dayapproaching.
Does it have any cross there, you know, except if there's?
(49:04):
So those are the kind of thingsthat we're thinking about.
I don't know if you want to sayanything else, pastor Ken, or
you, pastor Zach.
Ken (49:09):
People are cooperating with
the spirit of Antichrist.
It was the objective of thedevil to weaken the church
through those very tyrants whoordered them to stay away and
perpetuated the fear, theillegitimate fear.
Florida, this state, has provenas well as any state can, that
(49:31):
all of the efforts, all of those, you know, attempts to slow or
stop this virus, were in vain.
The numbers are no different.
This virus, we're in vain.
The numbers are no different.
With all of the lockdowns andall of the mask mandates and all
the vaccine mandates, everything has been done.
You've got this Israeliprofessor, minister of health
(49:51):
now saying it's time to admit itwas a complete failure.
And all of that was the messagefrom Satan.
The church is non-essential andpeople believed it.
Razz (50:04):
Yeah, the church is
essential.
Pastors believed it, you know.
For you listening again, you'relistening to Life for Jesus.
There's a program here so thatyou can live for Jesus.
We've got less than fiveminutes.
You're entitled to your view, toyour opinion.
I just want to say this Ifyou're saying something is
(50:24):
dangerous and you have walmartfilled with people coming in,
you have a liquor store is open, then why are you saying that
churches are the problem?
Your, your, your heart is beingdemonstrated.
That's all we're trying to talkabout here and trying to get
people to open your eyes and seethat when there's trouble,
challenges, heartache, sorrow,is not Walmart that's going to
bring you the bomb from Gileadto help you.
It's going to be the churchthat's going to pray for you and
(50:48):
intercede.
And we're not perfect.
There's imperfect people inchurch, imperfect pastors.
You're listening to one of themright now.
But, however, it's to point youto the perfect Jesus Christ
that came to save, to heal andto restore.
Pastor Zach, do you have anyobservation that you see in the
days here that we're ministeringand in the last five minutes,
(51:12):
that maybe the experience ofPastor Ken Graves or maybe
another pastor that's listeningwould be helpful?
786-313-3115.
You can text us, you can callus.
It's 826.
We got less than three minutesto go.
Pastor Zach, anything on yourheart or mind.
Zak (51:29):
Yeah, I just think how the
whole program really ties into
faith, humility and submission.
And even in the day and agewe're living in, it just seems
like many people feel like theyhave to.
They believe they have tosubmit to the feelings of others
.
They have to serve the God ofniceness even above God Himself,
(51:50):
even above intellect, evenabove I love how Ken put it
legitimate fears andillegitimate fears.
Dealing with three kids undernine years old, most of their
fears are illegitimate and theyare completely unaware of the
legitimate fears.
And it's so true of what wehave today People are not
fearful of their sin.
Ken (52:07):
People are not fearful of
how they're living against God.
Zak (52:09):
People are not fearful of
the end of their life.
People are not fearful thathell is what's awaiting them if
and when they perish.
And yet they are so fearful ofa sickness that science proves
99.9% of people survive.
The latest variant of it is 40times less lethal.
So then, what does that equal?
(52:30):
What are we really dealing with?
Where you have kids dealingwith anxiety, depression, drug
abuse, you have millions ofabortions being done, and where
is the true fear?
And again, I think it just tiesinto are we submitted to the
word of god or are we submittedto niceness and man being
obedient, being liked by others?
(52:50):
I think that, at the end of theday, the whole program is fear
of god versus fear of man, andif it says it in the word, I
don't think you have to prayabout going to church.
It says it in the word and forus to just continue to move from
the gods of niceness andcomfort and being liked by
people to be that God-fearingperson I am submitted under the
will of my Master, no matter thecost, and that's how the
(53:12):
majority of churches are livingin today outside of America.
Any other church member aroundthe world when they attend
church.
Their lives are on the line.
Their businesses are on theline.
Their sons and daughters are onthe line.
That's a legitimate fear.
That is truth that's going tohappen to them, and yet we're
living in fear of what maypossibly happen.
Ken (53:31):
The Lord calls us to faith.
Faith is one thing it takes toplease God.
Without faith, it's impossibleto please God.
Faith is really synonymous withtrust.
It's not just intellectuallyaccepting something.
It's synonymous with trust.
And our trust must be in theone who we put our very lives.
We owe him our existence and wewho are his have placed our
(53:54):
lives in his very capable handsand we must, especially in the
days in which we live, just liveout that trust.
