Speaker 1 (00:00):
The pain of discipline, the pain of regret,
the pain of discipline onlyraise mountains.
It's temporary, but the pain ofregret weighs tons and it tends
to be permanent.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
["The man who Wants to Be a Man"].
All right, everybody, welcomeback.
Welcome back to Friends withBusinesses, where I introduce
you to my friends withbusinesses and I know you're
going to benefit.
Today I got my man.
We go back over 20 years, thehigh school, a Popdale high

(00:35):
school.
Mr Douda Bangor, we call him, join your son, folks call him
coach.
Known him for a minute.
Your football started with theschool, played football.
Now he's in the fitness.
He's done an entrepreneur aswell as a personal trainer,
helped build other people'sbusinesses.
And today we're going to talkabout something very, very, very
important, because so manypeople lose their lives while

(00:57):
trying to gain money and one ofthe ways they do that is not
being in shape.
As you see, this is the firstepisode that I actually have on
our merch, the Friends withBusinesses merch right here.
Hey, I need a shirt.
I've got you.
It's a dry, fit shirt onpurpose.
You see what I'm saying.
I didn't get it right on thecard because I need to be able
to get out, run, walk, do allthis type of stuff, not just

(01:19):
promote myself, I'm also gettingto show that I'm getting myself
in shape.
So today we're going to talkabout fitness for entrepreneurs,
in particular those people whoare in business, because we know
that it's a struggle.
Sometimes we got this job, thatjob, all these things we're
trying to do.
Our schedules aren't even ourown, but it's important that we
do take care of our bodies.

(01:40):
It's something called ourtemple.
We call it the temple of God,but we'll go ahead and let you
introduce yourself, tell thefolks about you, all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yes, sir.
Well, first, before I introducemyself, I definitely wanted
like I said, I already kind ofgave it back to you before the
recording, but I'll do it againI just want to thank you for
creating this platform.
I know you're passionate aboutjust exposing the world to a lot
of the gifts and talents thatpeople possess, so to make that
connection is very, veryfruitful.
Hopefully it's very beneficialto a lot of people that come

(02:11):
across this information.
But again, I thank you, brother.
I thank you, thank you, and Ican't wait to come back.
Definitely can't wait to comeback.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So I want to say yeah , but talk about yourself.
You're going to have to comeback because I got a challenge
for you.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
You're going to have to come back.
You're going to have to comeback.
So, yeah, so like I go through,I mean I go well, a lot of
different aliases.
My full name is Dauda Bangor Jr.
I am a junior, hence the reasonwhy I call knows me as junior.
A lot of people that grew upwith me you know my school days,
et cetera, my clients, whetherthey're my personal trained

(02:46):
clients or my business partnersin another business, they call
me Coach B, coach Bangor.
So yeah, I'm really deep downand dirty in the health and
wellness field.
I come from an athleticbackground, as you already know,
carl.
You know Parkdale High School,phs.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
You're still in the middle school.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Back in high school, middle school, et cetera, and I
never really got away fromfitness per se.
I was always playing sports,obviously.
You know, I went to JamesMadison and transferred to Bowie
State but I played footballthere as well, which still
allowed me to lift weights, workout, run et cetera.
But I just, you know, I guess Ijust became an addict over the

(03:29):
years.
I became an addict over theyears till after me playing
football, even college.
I never stopped working out andI was able to quickly recognize
the benefits of working out, having a feel, my mindset, et
cetera.
So I'm definitely excited toshare a lot of information with
everybody on this podcast.

(03:49):
But that's pretty much what mybackground stands from group in
this area, PG County in the DMVarea, my whole entire life.
My parents are from West Africa, sierra Leone.
Always tell people my parentsdid not come to this country for
me to be average, one of thereasons why I moved the way I
move, I worked the way I workand try my best to add as much

(04:11):
value to people's lives.
So hope that gave you enoughabout my background.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, man, most definitely.
Now, how long have you been afull-time entrepreneur?

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Full-time entrepreneur pretty much since
2012.
2012.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
So we got it about the same time.
Yeah, prior to that, I wasteaching at Woodrow Wilson.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
High School Teaching biology and I was a football
coach there as well and thengave me an opportunity to help
people train kids, footballcoach teach etc.
But I actually stopped teachingyear eight because I just got
tired of that emotional rollercoaster that financial emotional

(04:55):
roller coaster Doing the samething every single day.
You tried to do your best, etc.
But every two weeks that checkis the same and I got tired of
having too much month left atthe end of my check.
If that made any sense.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Oh yeah, my pastor said are you tired of having
more month left than money leftat the end of the month?
Yeah, exactly, and that's onething about us and that's kind
of where I want to go into it,because one of the reasons that
we get into entrepreneurship isto be able to take control of
our lives.
Absolutely Unfortunately formany of us, there's a part that

(05:31):
we lose.
So talk about how you, as anentrepreneur, you know.
Of course you said you gotaddicted to it and you love it,
but how you make it a part ofyour lifestyle, you know.
Number one, how do you do that?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
So, first of all, I know the topic is, you know,
fitness and entrepreneurship andwhy fitness should be important
for entrepreneurs.
But in my opinion and it's socrazy because I literally had
this conversation about 5.30this morning with a couple of my
clients I believe that fitnessshould be the foundation and the
catalyst for everybody, nomatter what you're doing,
whether you're a entrepreneur.

(06:07):
You know you're a nine tofiveer.
You know, whatever the case, stay at home, mom, dad, whatever
the case may be.
In my opinion, you know thehighest top priority in
everybody's life is no God oryour relationship with the high
being, who that person or thatspirit may be.
And then you know your health.
So back to your question howI'm able to tie two together.

(06:30):
For me it became an easytransition because, like I said,
I cannot remember when workingout health and wellness, fitness
was not a part of my life.
I was always playing sports, growing up, things like that.
So that was always there.
And as a relation to theentrepreneurship that really
stemmed from my why, the type oflife that I wanted to have

(06:52):
financial time, freedom, etc.
So I kind of just smashed bothof them together and as I
smashed both of them together, automatically me becoming an
entrepreneur exposed to me whyfitness, eating right, your
health is even more important.
I mean even more important, andthis is why I say that.
Obviously, you know so.

(07:13):
I think it's a trade-off.
Obviously, you have a nine tofive job.
You know there's someonetelling you when you have to
come to work, when you'revacation, when you don't do too
much thinking, you just got todo it Someone else doing the
thinking for you.
Then, on the flip side of that,as an entrepreneur, you're
doing all of the thinking, you're doing all of the brain
work, you're doing all of theexecution, you're doing all of

(07:34):
the performance, especially ifyou're a one-man band, so to
speak.
So, with that being said, itbecomes more difficult to
effectively accomplish thosetasks.
And it's the same that I alwayssay it's damly impossible for
anybody to continuously that'sthe key word continuously

(07:55):
execute and perform better thanyou feel, meaning that you're
going to perform how you feel.
So if your health is not whereit needs to be, if you don't
have energy, it's hard for youto have that mental clarity,
it's hard for you to controlyour emotions, because you know,
when entrepreneurship is not astraight line, oh my God.

(08:15):
Sometimes you think you'regoing forward and then realize
you're going backwards.
You know what I mean.
So, in my experience, living afit lifestyle, fit doesn't
necessarily mean just workingout.
Working out, being fit is notjust looking the part but being
able to execute.

(08:35):
You're a cardiovascularendurance, you're cardiovascular
strength, things like that.
So when you do that, it does alot for your energy, there's a
lot for your spirit, there's alot for your mental focus and
your mental clarity to be ableto handle the trials and
tribulations, the ups and downsthat comes with every
entrepreneur process, if thatmakes any sense.
Yeah, so, yeah.

(08:56):
So it got to the point reallyquick.
I realized you know what I needthis, I need this.
So I preach it to my businesspartners and my other company
because there's a lot,especially when you're dealing
with other people and theiremotions.
Living a fit lifestyledefinitely helps with that.
So, for example not to reallyramblin' on, but I want to kind
of just throw this out there- no, I'm listening, I can quickly

(09:19):
tell the difference and my dailyperformance.
When I get up in the morning, Ieat, drink in my water, I go for
my run, I work out, I get allout of my system, I feel good.
Now I'm prepared to reallyknock out the day and perform at
a high level.
But when I don't work out, ifI'm not eating right, if I don't

(09:41):
run, I'm a little morelethargic.
I'm more likely and willing tosay okay, I need to do A, b and
C, but I get to it later, I getto it tomorrow, or I can see
that difference, I can feel thatdifference.
So once I was able to make thatconnection, I'm like nope, get
my workout in, run, eat right,et cetera, because this is your

(10:03):
body, this is your vehicle andGod is only gonna give you one
vehicle and, like I said, I'mlike nine to five
entrepreneurship, but mostpeople you're the one man band.
You gotta do this, you gotta dothat, you gotta do here, you
gotta this.
And your vehicle has to be atits best, in my opinion.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, man, I agree.
Now you know me for a minute Iwas working out with Rob.
You know quarterback Parkdale, you know he's everything in the
family.
That's what I do.
That helps Rob.
Indeed, indeed, we was.
We was going.
You know he's going hard and Iwas at three, four times a week
and you know I lost about 50pounds.
I was in the best shape of mylife, bro.

(10:41):
I mean I look at the mirrorlike what is this really?
You know it's just really calmright.
Then, you know, covid happened.
I hate to blame COVID, but youknow I was because I was in a
routine, I was disciplined.
You know, I'm gonna be honestwith you.
There was not one time that Iactually wanted to go to the gym
.
I'm gonna keep it.
It was like yo, I can dosomething.
I got work to do.

(11:03):
I mean it was I mean I neverwanted to go, but once I got
there, I was there and I was.
You know, you like, look I, youwant to treadmill you on this,
you on that.
You lifted you doing all thiskind of stuff and you know, but
what I?
What I also learned was everycoach needs a coach.
You see it on the same like Ican help people build their

(11:24):
business, but I tried to workout by myself doing COVID.
It did not work.
It did not like I was able tomaintain for a minute, but then
after a while I stopped.
Because of what I learned alsois when I work out, I eat better
.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
It's not the other way around, man you really,
really hit the nail in the headand you said every coach needs a
coach, and it reminds me of asaying.
You know, every coach does needa coach, because it's almost
impossible for you to see theentire picture when you're in
the frame if you're not anExpert in that particular area

(12:00):
if that makes sense, like evenmyself yeah, very, very
knowledgeable and fitness, nutrition, working out, etc.
When I get ready for shows, bodybuilding shows I got a coach
, I got a trainer who's leadingme.
So you're absolutely right, butyou also Just on something
that's very, very big, very big,and I that's a lot of people
that experienced this.

(12:20):
You said something.
You said I am not Motivated butI want people to see.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
I want you to talk through what I'm about to show
on the screen.
Okay, I keep watching.
You go see some change.
But I want people to see thatyou ain't new to this, you true
to this.
I.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
So you say something like most people are not.
You said well, you just saymost people said you, they only.
Almost every time you go to thegym You're not motivated to
work out.
And there's so many people thatsay I just need to find
motivation.
I give motivation.
In my opinion, I'm like Fmotivation, I would curse, but
I'm gonna kind of keep this, youknow thank you, I appreciate it
, so I gotta edit it in postmotivation, that's what F stands

(12:57):
for.
Forget, not the other word, but, yes, forget motivation, because
at the end of the day, once youactually get, go to the gym and
you start to lift heavy weights, oh, trust me, motivation may
not even walk in the gym withyou.
Motivation.
So this is too much.
I'm staying in the car, I'mgoing home.
So the point that I'm trying tomake is and shout out to Carl,
because he's the one actuallytook these pictures yes, sir, my

(13:19):
man, but yes.
So motivation, I tell peoplemotivations down the line.
You kind of spoke on that youdon't feel like working out.
But when you work out, and youconsistently work out, you tend
to run into Motivation and whatI mean by that.
You start to notice how youfeel.
I feel good, I feel better, I'mmore able to control my

(13:39):
emotions, I'm looking good, just.
And then you get to the pointwhere you look at it in the
mirror and say, oh, my god, isthat curl, is that me?
Now you're ready, even moremotivated, in spite of go to the
gym to dominate that body, toget a little better, to Change
your physique.
So, yeah, so motivation, youknow, at best it's a starter
emotion and there's an elevatormotion because it comes and goes

(14:02):
.
So I told people don't wait formotivation, because if you're
waiting to be motivated to getthings done, you're not going to
accomplish anything.
Because now, most of the mostof the time, you're not gonna
feel like working out.
And I'm right there with you.
I didn't feel like working outthis morning, I didn't feel like
doing the avocado, but I did itanyway because I know it has to
be done.
I have goals and I want myphysique to look a certain type

(14:24):
of way or my health to be at acertain type of level.
Those some dope pics.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah, bruh, I'll tell you, man, those things like
they, they stand out, man, and Ithink they did their.
They could be motivation foranybody, man, because you know,
like, as as we talked, you know, you talked about your, your
journey, how you started this inhigh school.
Right, you know how's well, playing drowns?
I wouldn't, I wouldn't, Iwouldn't afford to know time, so
you know we're gonna be in allthis stuff when the college

(14:53):
didn't play sports day, becausethat's what I finally found out
I was short, right?
Oh, like I didn't know I wasshort of how to.
Yeah, yeah, you know I would,so I went to you know it, popped
it out with you know, rickyShields, Jason Crawford
Roosevelt, but they like theysix.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Everybody.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
They superstar athletes, so I'm like I'm
supposed to be shorter than them.
I want to school find outeverybody's taller than me.
It's cool, no big deal, butyeah, man.
But so not everybody had.
So you, you, basically you.
You've been in this for a while, right, and so people may think
that the only way to do it isto have already been doing it.

(15:36):
But I want to say one thingI've noticed, and I've seen what
you do Were you transformpeople, bruh, let's talk about
that?

Speaker 1 (15:46):
I'm about to.
So I'm literally startedsomething this week and it's
called fit over 40.
Fit over 40, and I was gonna doit for the fellas, but now I'm
gonna let everybody get somelove for the females and the
male.
So, fit over 40 and the reasonwhy I'm coming over fit over 40.
There are so many people thatbelieve the number, your age, is

(16:06):
more than a number.
Oh, I'm too old.
I'm 40 years old.
I'm 45.
I can't get in shape.
Yeah, that wasn't shit, butthat's back in high school.
My knees hurt, that's what theyover my knees and they start
rubbing their knees.
I got that, yes, so, um, so I'mdoing.
I had this platform to takeabout 10 people over 40 that's

(16:27):
going to be willing to dedicateand commit their time towards
the plan that I'm going tocreate and Together we're going
to work.
That plan is going to allowthem to transform their bodies,
because that's what I do.
It's one thing to work out andtrain and, you know, work with a
coach but it's another thing togive results.
I'm big on results.
You know, if I'm not gettingresults with my clients, then

(16:50):
I'm not doing my job and Somepeople may hate it.
Well, you know, everything isnot on you, because the client
has to do the work, the clienthas to eat, which is absolutely
right.
But one of the reasons why wedon't do what we have to do when
we have to do it, it's simplybecause of this, the mindset,
and that's where I come in andthat's why I don't call myself
necessarily a personal trainer, more so a coach, life coach,

(17:13):
because I go out of my way totrain the mind, to develop a
certain level of discipline, tounderstand that we all have two
types of choices.
You got the choice of pain.
The choice, I mean that's thechoice of pain, two types of
pain choices Let me slow down alittle bit which is the pain of
regret and the pain ofdiscipline.

(17:35):
And most people choose oh wait, hold, hold, hold.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
You can't just say that and walk past it.
You can't just you got, you got.
You got to slow down.
We're down, right there, youknow, that's the whole.
Come on, man, say that again, say that again so.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
I guess I'm a back, I'm back up a little bit so I'm
crazy.
I talk this talk all the time.
Not to brag or anything likethat, but I was having
conversation my clients thisweekend so I will.
I believe I'm pretty sure Iwill agree that of all God's
creations we are the mostimpactful, the best creation out
of your eagles.
That's what it's saying and whatseparates us from all God's

(18:12):
creations, that we have thepower of choice, free will, like
, for example, you can have aconversation with a goose and
you can communicate and you canspace that goose, why they
should stay here for the winterand everything they need to hear
for the winter is here andthey'll be in the grids.
Okay, I'm chillin here for thewind, I'm chillin your house,
carl, but as soon as winter come, where did it go?
So they cannot help it.

(18:34):
They cannot fight that.
Whatever's in them, the God putthem to make them fly south.
We can't fight it.
We have the power of choice.
So, going down to two types ofpains, you have two types.
You have to pay no regret andthen the pain of discipline and
because of our upbringing, theway we were taught, raised by
our parents, the school system,et cetera.

(18:54):
I can get a little deeper inthat.
I'm gonna stay right there.
On the surface, we tend tochoose the wrong pain, which is
the pain of regret.
And I understand that type ofpain, why we choose it?
Because when you choose thepain of regret, it's followed by
a feel good emotion, a feelgood feeling.
For example, I got this waterbottle and let's say here, in
this hand, I have some type ofjuice and soda and I know I

(19:16):
should be drinking the water, but I want the soda.
So I choose the wrong pain, Ichoose the pain of regret.
I'm drinking the soda.
As soon as I drink it, my tastebuds are tingling, it tastes
good, et cetera.
And if I stay down that path, keep drinking the wrong
beverages, now what that's gonnashow up in my blood work?

(19:36):
Maybe come overweight.
Whatever the case may be Versusme, drinking the water, which
is the pain of discipline, that's usually followed by blah,
no type of feeling oruncomfortable feeling, unless,
obviously, I just got finishedrunning like 10 miles and I'm
extra thirsty.
Right, right, right, it's likesoda, but that's the pain of

(19:59):
discipline.
And we choose the pain ofdiscipline.
That's either followed by anon-good feeling, uncomfortable.
You gotta run, you gotta wakeup early, you gotta not eat the
pizza, eat the salad.
So I get that.
But the difference in the painof discipline, the pain of
regret.
The pain of discipline onlyweighs ounces, it's temporary,

(20:23):
but the pain of regret weighstons and it tends to be
permanent.
So, going back to fitness andnutrition and working out and
I'm a tied in with entrepreneurs.
I get it.
Entrepreneurs is not nine tofive, it's wake up to go to
sleep, especially if you're atrue entrepreneur trying to
really scale your business.
So you got entrepreneurs thatthey're putting time in their

(20:44):
business.
They know they gotta work out, they know they gotta eat right,
they know they should beexercising, et cetera, but for
whatever reason they do not dothat.
So they choose the pain ofregret.
They don't work out.
But then down the line, godforbid they're overweight, not
feeling good in their body andif you're not, they're anti you.

(21:05):
When you saw yourself in themirror, like oh, my God is that
curl.
I can only imagine what I didfor your confidence, for your
spirit, the bounce in your stepwhen you're out and about moving
to people, versus on the flipside of that, where you have the
pain of regret.
You know you're not feelinggood in your body, you're second
guessing yourself.
It does a lot for your belieflevel and that transitions into

(21:27):
the choices you're making, howyou perform and execute.
So, yes, it all goes hand inhand as it relates to working
out and fitness, but that'ssomething that we all need to
work on, even myself.
I didn't just come out likethis.
I had to really work on myselfto develop the type of mindset
to continuously choose the painof discipline and not regret,

(21:47):
and it's still some areas towhere I gotta work on.
You know, for all beings of God, no one's perfect, so we're
always gonna be working onourselves until we get put back
into the earth.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Hey yo, that was amazing.
Right there I was gonna hearthe buck.
That was amazing, like that's abar.
Just know, I'm gonna give youcredit for it, but you gonna
hear me talk about it.
No, I'm not talking about it,I'm pretty sure I was talking to
somebody else.
Yeah, right, but nah, man, that's amazing, right there.
You know, because and youtalked about something I wanted
to hit on real briefly is whenwe talk about what we eat,

(22:27):
because it's not just aboutworking out they say what is it?
90% is in the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
I say 80, 20,.
The fitness work in our bar isonly 20%.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, because you're not in the gym that long.
I mean, there's some people inthe gym, they're gym rats in
there all the time, but mostpeople are not spending more
than an hour to in the gym atmost.
So everything else is outsideof that.
You know like I try my best.
You know like I'm a snackerbecause I work the way that I
work, I don't even I eat a meal,but like I'm gonna have me some
snacks.

(22:59):
What I had to do recently was Ihad to throw some stuff away,
like just stop buying it.
You know like right now I gotnumber of canola and watermelon
in my refrigerator.
I got two things of water thatI'm doing with Coke.
You know either water orcoconut water to keep myself
hydrated.
But let's talk about that.
You know, when somebody is inthe position where they make the

(23:19):
like, I'm my own boss, I makemy own schedule, I make my own
meals, I make my own everything.
The only time I don't work ison Sabbath.
How does?
If you were, what advice wouldyou give to somebody like that
Number one to eat right?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
So this, so this is a major, major topic.
Major topic Especially in thiscountry.
For obvious reasons I'm a diginto it and, like you said, you
know, the fitness part is only20%, 80% nutrition.
That's something I strugglewith with my clients because
obviously, you know, in a gym, going in there for an hour, and

(23:57):
I'm there, I'm leading away, dictating what they do, etc.
But I'm not in the house, whichyou See.
What's in your refrigerator,right, you know, it's like, it's
so funny.
One of my clients actuallyposted I don't know if you saw
it, I saw it, I saw it.
So what are my clients?
And they act like my clientsact.
I don't follow them on socialmedia, but what are my homegirls
?
Well, I love.
She actually went to the park aswell.

(24:18):
She went to Parkdale, graduatedlike two years After me, but um
, or after us, should I say?
But she put, yeah, she postedpancakes posted.
I was thinking about you when Iposted it.
Oh, my god, my head on my girl.
He wasn't thinking hard enoughbecause you know I don't want
you to paint it, so, um, it's,it's tough.

(24:40):
It's tough, but this one peoplehave to understand the reason
why nutrition, what you eat, isso important.
The way you look for, moreimportantly, the way you feel,
your immune system, yourcardiovascular endurance, your
cardiovascular strength, yourwillingness and ableness to
fight off diseases, illnesses,is a clear and direct reflection

(25:04):
from what you eat yeah, fromwhat, nothing else.
And what has the same go Makefood, our medicine, that
medicine, that food.
That is so true.
I had a thought this morning,or was it last night?
Sometimes the day is kind ofblurring together and I was
gonna post it on Facebook.
I Haven't, I haven't takenmedicine in over 15, to be 20

(25:25):
years.
Wow, oh, should I say man mademedicine?
Yeah, yeah, medicine that'sacres, all in fruit, herbs,
supplements, things like that.
So, um, your Nutrition is very, very, very big.
What you eat is very, very, very big.
For example, you can be this gymaddict, this gym rat.

(25:46):
So, like you said, you'respending Hours and hours in the
gym, you're lifting everything, you're doing every exercise, but
yet your diet is crap.
You can still be unhealthy.
Your body will still look likesomebody who maybe work out
muscles, but you have fat overtop muscles.
You're not gonna feel good, you're not.
Your immune system is not gonnabe high and you're gonna be

(26:07):
very susceptible to illnessesand diseases.
On the flip side of that, let'ssay, you never stepped foot in
the gym, you never lift afreaking weight, but yet you're
a gung-ho on your diet.
You're strict on your, what youput in your, on your mouth,
what you're consuming.
You're eating your fruit.
You're making sure what seed isfruit, you're making sure
you're taking them in, taking inmore alkaline plant-based

(26:30):
products than acidic products, and you never step in the gym.
You're gonna lose weight, gobetter.
Your immune systems gonnaincrease, your cardiovascular
Endurance is gonna increase.
All of that is gonna increase, and that's without even working
out.
I've seen people transformtheir body and their health
without stepping foot in the gym.
So that, right, there is just aclear example of why nutrition

(26:53):
is super, duper important and areason why a lot of us can't
wrap my mind around.
That is because I'm just goingto say this country, don't,
don't teach nutrition.
No, it doesn't.
All the GMO foods, geneticallymodified lab made foods, it is
insane.
And they want us to be ignorantand Dependent when it comes to

(27:15):
nutrition and food.
Why?
Because, at the end of the day, they want us to make the wrong
choice.
Hmm, oh, it's of regret.
And now we're glad we'rediagnosed with something and,
trust me, you can haveeverything you want in the world
three houses, mansions, cars, money, clothes, guy, all the
girls.
You a girl, your main guy, youhave pretty guys.

(27:37):
I don't care.
Whatever you want, you have allof that.
But yeah.
Your diagnosed with some type ofillness.
Hmm, that's gonna matter.
None of that's gonna matter.
All you're gonna care and thinkabout is getting rid of what's
in you becoming healthier.
So that's why it's so, so, soimportant.
So, um, yeah, how did how didsomeone do that?

(27:58):
Back to your original questionfind somebody who's gonna get in
your head.
Hmm, I'm somebody who's notscared to get in your head, and
that's where I come from andwhat I mean by that.
I'm passionate about helpingpeople.
I'm passionate about addingthat value and I also understand
Just like myself one point oftime.
Majority of the people in thiscountry are ignorant when it
comes to food.
We're not.

(28:20):
We weren't taught that inschool and we talk growing up
milk, this is body, good milk,my stash.
That's one of the leadingcauses to diseases.
Cancer, decrease, your immunesystem.
List goes on and on.
So my advice to anybody whohears this as relates to okay, I
know I need to eat better.
I know I need to eat certainthings.
I don't know what to do, or Idon't just have that Fight in me

(28:42):
to make sure I get it done.
Hi, somebody who's going toverbally put their foot in your
behind?
Yeah, I'm just gonna hold youaccountable.
Yeah, I do like I did with myclient and I.
I said, don't worry about it, Isee you on Tuesday already got
her workout.
It's 7 am, I saw it and she,she shared it and then I
reshared it again.
But outside of that, I had aconversation with you, spoken of

(29:05):
phone and nothing wrong.
She's not doing bad becauseshe's in the beginning stages.
She's only like two weeks in,so I have not even had enough
time to really get here.
And to the biggest importantmuscle, which is her brain on
myself, right?
That's what I say, carl.
Yeah, bro, get a coach, get.
So I'm going to guide you andit's have to be somebody
one-on-one.
It could be somebody, virtually, somebody who is always
preaching that particular wordthat you can tap into on YouTube

(29:28):
, whatever who disrupts yourspirit in the right way, and
once you find that person orentity, stay connected with it.
I'm glad you said that, brother.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Because, as we were talking, as I told you before, I
got a challenge for you.
Think of before this startedright man.
What's the challenge, man?

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Because you know I'm like I want to challenge you to
do something before this episode.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
So this episode is going to drop in four weeks
because you do, because you weekfor your week five, right
Gotcha.
So this episode is going todrop in four weeks.
By the time this episode drops, right, I want people to be able
to click on a link in thedescription and go to a 20 One
day challenge from you that theycan do virtually that.

(30:16):
They will pay for that.
They and we can talk about you,we can partner on, we make
money together with this.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
I'd say say less, I like you know, and but what I?

Speaker 2 (30:25):
what I wanted to be is Something simple.
We not talk about changingeverything about them, but when
you talked about something realquick with the discipline piece,
it's implementing that, gettinga habit going, and I think we
could do it.
You know, challenges are thenew thing now in business, and

(30:45):
especially when it comes toentrepreneurs.
Well, I think we forgot a wayto make it simple, make it easy
to get started so people seequick results.
One of the reasons I have myprogram four days to launch is
to help people get the quickresults, so that they believe
that it's possible for them.
Right, because, like you said,so many of us think that it's
impossible.
They think that they'll neverbe able to get back to that or

(31:06):
they'll never even get to wherethey never were.
But again, I watch your stories.
I see the drastic change.
I mean.
I look at Robin that we went tohigh school with.
She was competing.
Yes, you know, we got some ofthe same homies between Six
packing all.
Huh.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
I said six packing all.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
That was like eight, that was like, but, like you
know, we both.
We know Kelly, you know, weknow Venus.
You know these are for KeithYoung.
I mean, these are folks thatthey make it happen and you know
, kelly and Venus are mothers, full time moms, you know.
So it's like they ain't.

(31:45):
No, you know like.
So what I think is if we setsomething up where people can
click the link below andhopefully by now we probably
already got people in it by thetime they see this, but they
didn't click it.
And it's a 21 day challenge youknow what I'm saying when they
hear from you every day.
Virtually they ain't even likeone on one type of thing, but

(32:05):
it's a group thing, it's a bunchof you together.
They see in results, they postthem results, they love them,
what's happening, and we'll evengive them a.
You know like.
Hey, you can lose X amount oflike.
There was a point where I lost15 pounds in 21 days.
This was two months ago and Iwasn't trying that hard.
I just it's certainly.
I decided I was gonna do itevery day.

(32:26):
I decided I was gonna do this, just like.
I'm doing this and I'm throwingaway this, I'm doing this.
I'm throwing away this.
I'm doing this.
I'm throwing away this.
I'm not eating this.
I think if we build that, it'llhelp change the culture man.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
No, no, that's definitely more than doable,
Even more needed.
And I love how you stress thefact of keeping it simple,
because I know, when it comes tofitness and doing something
that you haven't done before, wetend to kind of mentally
overcomplicate it.
You know too much, too hard.
No, no, to really keep itsimple, it's a saying I like to

(33:01):
say keep it simple and easilyduplicatable.
So now, when you keep it simple, you can do it.
Now you're in a position toteach, you know, past that
success towards other people inyour life, et cetera.
So, yeah, so that's somethingwe can definitely, definitely do
.
I'm all and I'm excited aboutit.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
I'm like what is this ?

Speaker 1 (33:17):
challenge for let's go, let's go, let's go.
The biggest thing is justencouraging.
Not encouraging, but gettingpeople to believe that you know
they can do it.
The way God designs our body, you know.
There's no age limits where youcannot become the best version
of yourself.
Yeah, I don't care if you're 90years old, four years old, 30
years old, it doesn't matter.

(33:38):
You can always make thedecision.
You know what I'm gonna be mybest today, and then the next
day you go out the way to dobetter than you were the
previous day.
You know better, your best, soI'm definitely down for that.
I was accepted.
Let's go with that, collab onit, and we wanna see how many
people we can encourage to jointhe challenge.
And I'm pumped up.
I love it, I love it.

(33:58):
So we wanna collab on this.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
So today is the 24th.
So this episode, what happensis I don't really control it
Like my assistant when they seesomething drop, they go, they
edit, they put in the schedule.
So, like I have no control overthis joint drop.
I know what it's gonna drop,but I can't control it and I've
told myself I'm not going totell them not to do something to
make it convenient for me,right?
So it will be dropping on the21st Yep, cause it did Yep.

(34:24):
So on the 21st this is droppingand that means so y'all who are
watching this, click below.
Today is July 24th, but you canclick below on August 21st.
We're telling you right now andthis is not gonna be edited,
not gonna be cut out, not gonnabe changed, none of that August
21st, click below.
There's a challenge you canjoin us.

(34:44):
It's a 21 day challenge thatwe're gonna start.
We're gonna get you right.
We're gonna get you better.
You gonna get right, but we'reat least gonna get you better.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
And it's gonna.
It's not.
We're gonna get you right, cause once you're getting better
, that's you getting right.
Once you're getting better, once you cause, once you start
to progress and get better, thisright here is what's gonna
change and everybody that'sgonna see this I promise you.
You follow my league, youfollow the challenge, you will
see results.
This is something I've donewith my clients different types
of challenges.
Right now I'm actually in aninch loss challenge with most of

(35:14):
my clients to where they we'vealready measured their waistline
last month and they have twomonths to see who's going to
lose the most amount of inches.
So of course, you know they'reexcited about that.
They're posting their meals andaccountability group of
Facebook taking pictures, thingsof that nature.
So every time I give everybodyis going to be quality work.

(35:37):
I'm going to give you direction, or not necessarily just what
to do, exercises, et cetera butalso what to eat, the different
types of foods, giving peopleoptions, cause I love people
taking a lifestyle approach, notnecessarily a trend.
It can get real mundane eatingthe same thing over and over
again, but when you have optionsnow, it's more of a lifestyle.

(35:59):
Okay, I don't want to eat this, but I want to go with the
chickpea route.
They don't want to do this.
I want to do that, so I'm goingto give you guys all of that.
All you have to do is one thingwork the plan.
You're going to plan the work.
You work the plan.

Speaker 2 (36:12):

people's lives.
