Today is the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, at least in the US, and I am very excited to see this film. But before that, I wanted to look back and discuss Sonic 1, 2, and the Knuckles TV show. In this mini-retrospective/review, I cover the pros and cons of each property, how they relate to the games, and some of the core elements that made the films, and the TV, to a lesser degree, work as well as they have.
