Jenny Wilder is, once again, pulled out of the water unconscious. Unfortunately this time she is left with some lasting effects from the incident. Despite the opinion of Doc Baker and a number of big city doctors that Jenny will never recover, the senior doctor in the Walnut Grove area, Doctor Marvin, believes otherwise. Separating Jenny from an over-protective Auntie Laura, Doctor Marvin helps Jenny with her rehabilitation. Leaving Jenny to return the compassion her friend has shown in his own time of need.
