From the Ashes

From the Ashes

Meet triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters the same.brbr As a culture we have been lied to about what it truly takes to be great. We are inundated with stories of natural-born heroes and overnight successes. Triumphs are magnified while defeat is hidden. We are sold on this idea that either we are talented, or we are not, either we have grit or we do not and either we are going to make it or we will not. Our heroes and celebrities seem so distant from us and represent an unattainable goal.brbr So often we are hamstrung by their own mental models and emotional barriers. They are constantly holding ourselves back from blossoming into the people we are meant to be. In this program you will hear raw stories of triumph and defeat from people just like you who have beaten the odds and have gotten back up, from the ashes. From the Ashes is broadcast live every Friday at 11 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.

Jordan is a nice midwesterner who has charmed her way into an interesti...

He is in constant relationship and communication with the world around him. But, it didn't used to always be this way, for much of his life Randy was a wanderer. He ran with a biker gang, a truck driver, and a musician. While he recovered from alcoholism e...

In these moments we can be reminded about how fragile we are and how much we depend on others to get by. We were confronted by the brokenness of the justice system and the corruption of the treatment industry. We bonded immedi...

Throughout the course of this year we've all been challenged. We've experience failures in our jobs, relationships, or physical health.
