Eli failed to discipline his sons as he should have. They held positions as priests and continued to serve; even though they were messed up. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of Eli were priests of the Lord. Though they held this position, they did not walk worthy, but did evil in the sight of the Lord. Their father Eli did not restrain them as he should have. As a result, they caused men to despise the offering of the Lord. God eventually brought about their death. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
The wicked shall be in eternal darkness in the torments of hell. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
It is no light matter to be called a saint. God is able to keep us from falling and has given us His word to follow. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
We must be emptied of self before God can fill us. He kills and makes alive. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
God makes men rich or poor. Many in this world desire to be rich. However, the riches which count are not those which are physical, but the spiritual. If a man has riches of this world, it is something extra; for even the poor of this world can be rich spiritually. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
There are many actions which a man may do that do not appear to be wrong, but they are wrong from the Word of God. Just because a man may commit a wrong action and there not be consequences does not mean it is excused by God. The ones caught as well as those who escape consequences are equally guilty and deserve the same punishment. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
God's dealings with us will be deliberate and with accuracy. God measures everything down to the smallest thoughts of man. He measures and weighs our actions. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Hannah could not bear a child but desired one. When she finally brought forth a son she gave him to the Lord. This is much like what God did when He gave His only son. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
We are what we think in our hearts and we practice what we believe. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Good and evil people are mixed one with another in this world. A poisonous plant was put in the pot of food prepared for the men to eat; symbolizing how good and bad choices are always before us. Though some had begun to eat, it would take faith in order to be delivered from death. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Everything that can be destroyed will be removed from its place. God will shake the heavens and the earth. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
The lost must know how much Jesus loves them. Jesus prayed more earnestly for God's will to be done. Jesus is a union of all God and all man merged in the womb of a virgin. Jesus never yielded to fleshly temptations. He took on our humanity and also took on our sins. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
The second prayer of Christ from the garden was not about a surrendering of the will. As He was about to enter into death, His earnest prayer was for strength to endure what He must accomplish. Christ was all God and was all man suffering for the sins of man. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
As a captive you are not free. People being captive to sin will die and go to hell. Job was held captive to the pains and suffering he endured. God let Job suffer the attacks of the devil. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
There is a need to see God clearly in all of His holiness and majesty. Likewise, one must see themselves in all honesty and admit to where they have fallen short and repent. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
God reveals His great love and forgiveness towards mankind. He forgives all who will repent. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Only God can tell us what shall be on the morrow. Without the ability to see the future, we must have faith in God. Sermon by: Assistant Pastor Bobby Clark
God created creatures in which we know nothing about nor have we seen. We accept these things to be true without proof or evidence. Faith does not require us to see anything. Pastor Charles McKinney
At the supper Jesus takes bread, breaks it and declares it is His body broken. Likewise, He takes the cup and declares it is His blood of the New Testament. This communion is a memorial for Christians as we remember Jesus dying for us. Sermon by: Assistant Pastor Bobby Clark
