Eli failed to discipline his sons as he should have. They held positions as priests and continued to serve; even though they were messed up. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of Eli were priests of the Lord. Though they held this position, they did not walk worthy, but did evil in the sight of the Lord. Their father Eli did not restrain them as he should have. As a result, they caused men to despise the offering of the Lord. God eventually brought about their death. There are many actions which a man may do that do not appear to be wrong, but they are wrong from the Word of God. Just because a man may commit a wrong action and there not be consequences does not mean it is excused by God. Good and evil people are mixed one with another in this world. A poisonous plant was put in the pot of food prepared for the men to eat; symbolizing how good and bad choices are always before us. The lost must know how much Jesus loves them. Jesus prayed more earnestly for God's will to be done. Jesus is a union of all God and all man merged in the womb of a virgin. The second prayer of Christ from the garden was not about a surrendering of the will. As He was about to enter into death, His earnest prayer was for strength to endure what He must accomplish. Christ was all God and was all man suffering for the sins of man. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney
As a captive you are not free. People being captive to sin will die and go to hell. Job was held captive to the pains and suffering he endured. God let Job suffer the attacks of the devil. Sermon by: Pastor Charles McKinney

God created creatures in which we know nothing about nor have we seen. We accept these things to be true without proof or evidence. Faith does not require us to see anything. Pastor Charles McKinney
At the supper Jesus takes bread, breaks it and declares it is His body broken. Likewise, He takes the cup and declares it is His blood of the New Testament. This communion is a memorial for Christians as we remember Jesus dying for us. Sermon by: Assistant Pastor Bobby Clark
