Hello, brothers and sisters.
This is Cisco Terrazas coming toyou from another from wrong to
strong two minute Devotional.
The Bible verse I'd like totouch on today will be James
one, two to three.
Consider it pure joy, mybrothers and sisters, whenever
you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the
testing of your faith producesperseverance.

(00:24):
At first it sounds strange tofind joy in hardship who
celebrates pain, loss, ordifficulty?
But James is not telling us toenjoy suffering itself.
He's reminding us to look atwhat God is doing through the
suffering.
Trials are the training groundof faith.
Every test is a chance for Godto deepen our trust and

(00:46):
strengthen our perseverance.
Romans five, three to fourechoes this truth.
We also glory in our sufferingsbecause we know that suffering
produces perseverance.
Perseverance character andcharacter, hope." God is
building something lasting inus, a faith that can endure
storms and point others toChrist.

And in John 16:33, Jesus himselfassures us In this world you
will have trouble, but takeheart.
I have overcome the world.
That means our joy is not inavoiding trials, but in knowing
that Christ has already securedvictory for us.
So today, when challenges come,instead of asking, why me ask

Lord, what are you teaching me?
Trials may be heavy, but theycarry the seeds of perseverance,
character, and hope.
That is where Joy is found, notin the storm, but in the Savior
who walks us through it.
What trial are you facing rightnow?
How might God be using it togrow your perseverance and
strengthen your faith?

(01:49):
This reminds us that even insuffering, there is purpose.
God is shaping and strengtheningus through the trials.
I hope this message touchessomeone's heart today.
