In this From Wrong to Strong 2-Minute Devotional, Cisco Terrazas unpacks the challenge and encouragement found in 1 Timothy 6:12—“Fight the good fight of faith.” Following Jesus is not a passive walk; it’s an active battle that demands perseverance, trust, and reliance on God’s strength.

Cisco reminds us that the true struggle is not against people but against spiritual forces, drawing from Ephesians 6:12 and 2 Timothy 4:7 to highlight the importance of staying rooted in Christ.

Be encouraged to stand firm, keep your eyes on Jesus, and remain faithful no matter what trials you face. This short yet powerful devotional will equip you to keep pressing forward and to share the hope of Christ with those around you.

Speaker (00:00):
Hello, brothers and sisters.
This is Cisco Terrazas coming toyou from another From Wrong To
Strong two minute Devotional.
The Bible verse I'd like totouch on today will be 1 Timothy
6:12.
"Fight the good fight of thefaith.
Take hold of the eternal life towhich you were called when you
made your good confession in thepresence of many witnesses."

(00:22):
This reminds us that followingJesus is not a passive journey.
It's a battle, but it's notfought with fists or weapons.
It's fought with faith, perseverance, and reliance on
God's strength.
When life feels overwhelming, weremember that our true battle is
spiritual.

(00:42):
Ephesians 6:12 says,"For ourstruggle is not against flesh
and blood, but against therulers, against authorities,
against the powers of this darkworld and against the spiritual
forces of evil in the heavenlyrealms." Our good fight is about
resisting sin, standing firm intruth and clinging onto God's
promises even when the worldpushes against us.

(01:05):
Paul later reflects in 2 Timothy4:7,"I have fought the good
fight.
I have finished the race.
I have kept the faith." That'sthe testimony we should all long
to give.
That through struggles, doubts, and hardships, we remain
faithful to Christ.
So today, let's be encouraged.
The fight may be hard, but it'sgood because it leads us to

(01:28):
eternal life with Jesus.
Stay strong, stay faithful, andkeep fighting this fight.
Where in your life right now isGod calling you to fight the
good fight of faith?
This verse reminds us that thegood fight is not about worldly
battles, but about standing firmin God's truth, living
faithfully and persevering untilthe end.

(01:49):
I hope this message touchessomeone's heart today.
Please share with others becausethere are many out there who
need to hear this message ofhope that is promised by our
savior, Jesus Christ.
I am Cisco Terrazas and I amfrom wrong to strong.
