Hello everyone.
Welcome to From Wrong to StrongTwo Minute Devotional.
Today we're reminded that thename of Jesus has always stirred
division.
Not because he is cruel, butbecause He is Truth.
John 7:43 says, thus the peoplewere divided because of Jesus.

(00:20):
From the very beginning, Jesusforced people to make a choice.
He didn't present himself asjust another prophet teacher or
a good man.
He claimed to be the son of God,the Messiah, and the only way to
the Father that truth demands aresponse either surrender or
rejection.

(00:40):
Jesus said in Matthew 10:34-36.
Do not suppose that I have cometo bring peace to the earth.
I did not come to bring peace,but a sword.
What did he mean?
Not that he came to cause chaos,but that his truth would divide
even families because noteveryone will receive him.
In John 14 verse six, hedeclares I am the way and the

truth and the life.
No one comes to the Fatherexcept through me.
This exclusivity is why his namestill brings division today.
The world wants many paths toGod.
Jesus says, there is only one.
The world says, live your truth.
Jesus says, I am the truth.

(01:26):
The world says, do what feelsgood.
Jesus says, deny yourself.
Take up your cross and followme.
This is why people either fallat his feet in worship or turn
away offended.
His name still divides, but italso still saves.
Don't be discouraged iffollowing Christ brings division

(01:46):
and your family friendships orworkplace.
Jesus already told us this wouldhappen, but he also promised
Blessed are you.
When people insult you,persecute you and falsely say
all kinds of evil against youbecause of me.
Matthew 5:11.
Stand firm division isn'tfailure.

(02:06):
It's confirmation that the truthof Christ is cutting through the
darkness.
Maybe today you're on the fence.
You feel the tension in yourheart.
When you hear the name of Jesus,let me tell you, there's no
middle ground.
You either accept Him or rejectHim, but the good news is this,
if you confess him as Lord, hewill forgive you.

(02:28):
Heal you and give you eternallife.
If you've been wrestling withthis, don't wait another day.
Choose Jesus now.
