(00:00):
Hello family.
This is Omar Calvillo with thisweek's wrong to strong two
minute devotional.
Today we're looking at a momentin Peter's life that reminds us
of God's grace, restoration andpurpose.
Our scripture for today is gonnabe Luke 22 verses 31 through 32.
Simon Simon, Satan has asked tosift all of you as wheat, but I

(00:24):
have prayed for you.
Simon, that your faith may notfail, and when you have turned
back, strengthen your brothers.
Jesus gave Peter a heavywarning.
Satan wanted to sift him likewheat.
That's powerful Imagery.
Sifting meant shaking wheatviolently.
To separate the good from theuseless.

(00:46):
In the same way the enemy wantsto shake our lives, expose our
weaknesses, and make us feellike failures.
Peter did stumble.
He denied Jesus three times.
His courage collapsed.
For a moment, his faith lookedlike it had failed.
But notice what Jesus said.
I have prayed for you, and whenyou have turned back, strengthen

(01:11):
your brothers.
Jesus didn't say if you return.
He said,"when." Jesus knewPeter's failure wasn't final, he
knew that restoration wasalready part of the plan and
even more, Jesus had a missionfor Peter on the other side to
strengthen others.
That's grace.

(01:31):
That's hope.
That's the gospel romans 8 34reminds us that Jesus is still
interceding for us today.
Christ Jesus, who died more thanthat, who was raised to life, is
at the right hand of God and isalso interceding for us.
Just like he prayed for Peter,he prays for you.

(01:51):
Proverbs 24:16 tells us thoughthe righteous fall, seven times,
they rise again.
Falling isn't the end.
Rising is part of walking withGod.
So how do we see this in our ownlives?
Don't let failure define youlike Peter.
You may fall, but that doesn'tmean your faith is finished.
God's grace is bigger than yourweakness.

(02:14):
Turn back quickly.
Peter wept bitterly afterdenying Christ, but he didn't
stay down.
He came back to Jesus and Jesusrestored him.
When you stumble, confess,repent.
Return to him, strengthenothers.
Your story, your scars, yourcomeback can become someone
else's encouragement.

(02:36):
Just like Peter's testimonyfueled the early church, your
testimony can lift up a friend,a brother, or even spark a
movement.
Let us pray.
Lord, thank you that even when Istumble, you are praying for me.
Thank you that my failures don'thave the final word.
Your grace does.
Help me to rise again, to returnquickly, and to use my story to

(02:59):
strengthen others.
Make me a vessel of hope andrestoration just like Peter, in
Jesus' name, amen.
Family.
Remember this, failure is notfinal and restoration always
leads to mission.
Just as Jesus restored Peter andused them to strengthen the
early church, he wants to useyour story today, so don't stay

(03:23):
down, rise up, return, andstrengthen your brothers.
My name is Omar Calvillo and Iam wrong to strong.
