Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the
Feeling Faith Podcast.
I'm here with my guest, joelMott.
Yay, joel, doing big things forthe kingdom.
Yes, yeah, worship leader,co-founder of California, will
Be Saved.
You guys are coming to Temecula, we are.
You're on tour.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Excited yeah, first
time.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Making moves.
You guys were just in LA too.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Making huge impact
during, like some, chaotic times
too right, yeah, we were.
Yeah, that's awesome, man.
Obviously, the work that you'redoing is, you know, for the
Lord and for His glory and itsimpact, yeah, so we love it.
So, yeah, appreciate you comingout here.
Thanks for having me, bro, making the drive, excited to
hear your story.
(00:39):
Yes, and, yeah, just hear whatGod's done in your life.
So we're going to start all theway many, many years ago.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
The year you were
born.
What year was it?
Speaker 2 (00:52):
It was perfect
because I just had a long road
trip.
Last night I was in Las Vegasand we were driving until like 2
in the morning.
Last night I got to share someof the stories from my childhood
, so it's like fresh on my mindright now.
This is a great timing, but Iwas born in 1997.
So you can do the math, figureout how old I am.
Crazy, I don't feel like I'm 28, but I'm approaching 30.
(01:16):
And it's a little bit scary, but also new, anointing, right,
like new levels.
So yeah, just like that, bornin 97.
My parents were um full-timemissionaries at the time, so
they came back to california tohave me, but then went straight
back.
They were in europe and, uh,the czech republic actually.
So my first year of life was inczech that's cool sadly don't
(01:36):
remember any of it because I wasa baby, but yeah that's still a
cool experience, my grandpa wasactually czech, so really, yeah
, let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's it.
So we were in Czech mostly butwent all over Europe too that
year and then they settled backin Pasadena, california after
that and we were there for anumber of years, got connected.
It was actually a reallystrategic time in the late 90s
there in Pasadena.
We were part of Harvest RockChurch there and Lou Engle was
(02:05):
there he's just one of my heroesin the prayer movement was
praying how can we turn Americaback to God in those days?
And it ended up launching thiswhole movement called the Call
in the year 2000.
So, some of my first memorieswere at the Call with.
I mean that first gathering indc was.
There was like 450 000 peoplethat gathered to the national
(02:28):
mall well in 2000.
That's phenomenal so I'm like athree-year-old kid, you know.
So my first memories beingregistered are out on the
national mall in dc, with thishuge gathering, and it's all
about praying and fasting forgod to.
You know, save our nation andturn america back to him.
So, it was a marking momentthere.
And then we were in Pasadenaand there were these revival
(02:49):
meetings happening in thisbuilding called Mott Auditorium,
which is so funny because it'smy name, it's my dad's name,
Mott, but no, no directcorrelation.
It was named after John R Mott, who wasa integral piece in the
student volunteer missionsmovement.
So we don't know that we'rerelated.
We don't think we are.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
No, your pops, God
knew your pops was coming.
You were coming Exactly.
There's a significantconnection there.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, it's just one
of those God coincidence right.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
God knew exactly A
coincidence is God's way to
remain anonymous.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
That's my saying.
I like that.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
That's my saying I
like that, it's true.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I stole it from
somebody.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
That's a good one.
Yeah, so we were there in MottMott Auditorium in Pasadena.
In those days there were likethese revival meetings happening
, so really special memoriesthere in Pasadena.
But then we moved down toOrange County, pasadena.
But then we moved down toOrange County and then my dad
had this crazy idea to get outof kind of the rat race of
Southern California and move tothe middle of nowhere Amish
(03:51):
country, ohio.
He's from Ohio love it um smartmove and yeah, and we had an
organic produce farm for nineyears in the middle of nowhere
Ohio wow and uh, so into thatlifestyle right there yeah I'm
developing a little family ranch.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
We got 40 acres out
here that we're developing.
Bro, I'm all about it.
I think we need to bring thatback yeah, we do local farming
yes like super important broyeah, no it is.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
We learned so much.
Obviously through thatexperience there's so much work.
Yeah, I learned a ton aboutjust the food industry, where
our food comes from, the truecost of food.
You know we're trying to make aliving off of this.
Uh, you know, selling ourorganic fruits and vegetables
and so what did you guys grow?
Literally everything dude, likeanything you can imagine
(04:39):
honestly tomatoes, yeah, cucumbers yeah onion, all of it
all of itlettuce all the literally, yeah,
all of it and differentvarieties of all of those things
.
Right, like I didn't even knowthat till, like we started the
farm, like, right, we weregrowing at one point a hundred
different varieties of justtomatoes well, can't believe
that, that's amazing.
So, like purple, red, pink,it's all organic all organic.
(05:02):
That was my dad's vision nopesticides, pesticides, no
chemicals, you know people don'tknow how hard that is.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
No, yeah, that's hard
.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, cause the pests
come and start eating stuff and
the deer come, or whatever.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
That's hard.
Yes, the enemy comes.
That's why it's more.
That's why it costs more at thestore.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Exactly.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
And then you and now
with like uh regulations and
everything.
You have to be a certaindistance away from other farms
because of the pesticides andeverything.
Right so it's hard work.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
It is.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
No joke, and just
being a farmer alone is a hard
work.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Props to your pops.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Exactly so.
A lot of good memories, buthard memories too, like just
working hard in the fields, andthat was a lot of my childhood,
from when I was eight years oldtill all the way till high
school, like until I was like 17.
We had that farm.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
So during that time
do you have any siblings?
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, two younger
brothers.
One of them was born there, onthe farm Nice.
Yeah, in a manger, yeah almostright there in our house.
Yeah, almost right there in ourhouse.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
That's awesome.
So two siblings, you mom, dadpops Yep and you guys were.
They were not missionaries atthat time, they kind of.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
No, yeah, the whole
focus was the farm and building
that business.
Yeah, exactly A new mission.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Love it, and so you
grew up in the church then.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yeah, they were
always believers so I'm really
thankful for that.
They always loved the Lord.
So I had that foundation.
But there were definitely hardmoments on the farm too.
We were very isolated, you know, kind of out in the middle of
nowhere.
So there was a church about 45minute drive that we would try
to go to, a vineyard church, actually love those people there
and you know, but we didn'tmake it every Sunday.
(06:47):
It was pretty far away.
So yeah, it was like kind of aroller coaster most of my
childhood, spiritually, or kindof just going through the
motions.
You know, I know God's probablyreal, I think he loves me,
maybe I'll squeak into heavenone day.
But that's about as deep as itgot for most of my childhood.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
I find that
interesting because that seems
to be a common theme for peoplethat do grow up in the church.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Right.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Is that they don't
really have that direct
connection.
And some people do, but otherpeople they don't experience it.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
And then they go
through trials and tribulations
and hardships and, you know, maybe they walk away.
So I'm excited to hear more ofyour story.
I know there's some hardshipsin here and some different
seasons.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
No, it's an
interesting dynamic, right Like
you have these certain peoplethat have these radical
testimonies of just beingtotally rebellious and addiction
, addiction and drugs and allthis this immorality, right,
right.
And then there's kind of thisother group of us, church kids
yeah that, you know, some of usstill spiral out and get
rebellious.
But then there's this othergroup that I've.
(07:54):
I even I've talked to somerecently.
It was like, yeah, I didn'treally have a full-on rebellion,
I just wasn't burning rightwhich I was just talking to one
of my friends about thisyesterday.
Like burning which.
I was just talking to one of myfriends about this yesterday.
Like the, the sin of beingcomplacent and lukewarm is just
as bad as being like remember, jesus said that in the book of
revelation like, if you'relukewarm I'm going to spit you
(08:15):
out of my mouth, you know?
So it's not really.
You can't really compare.
It's like are we hot or cold?
So I had to come to that momentin my life where Jesus got a
hold of me and he encountered meand I realized I was not living
wholeheartedly.
I was kind of riding on myparents' coattails with their
faith, and he just got a hold ofme in the best way and showed
(08:37):
me his love.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
And what season was
that?
What was that moment whereyou're like, okay, I want more
of you?
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yep, I was 20 years
old, I had just finished my
sophomore year of college and myparents actually, the farm came
to an end a little bit beforethat and they were transitioning
back to California.
We're all in Pasadena there now.
So all of a sudden, I'mspending my summer back in
California and I'm around thesepeople that are just on fire for
(09:10):
the Lord and gettingreconnected with some of the
community that we knew from wayback years ago.
And so I find myself in thismeeting with like 200 young
people from all over America.
We're in this little room andwe're just crying out to God for
revival.
There's just this anointing andworship.
You know, by the grace of God, Istumbled into this meeting,
(09:33):
right, and I was actually likedoing like lyrics for the
worship in the back of the room, like on the PowerPoint, and um,
I just get totally wrecked LikeGod just touches me and Holy
Spirit, you know, speaks to meand says there's a calling over
your life, joel.
And that was my.
That was always.
My struggle was like I didn'tknow what my purpose was.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Right.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
You know, maybe
someone out there can relate.
Like you, you maybe don't havea burning passion for any, like
certain field.
You know God's real, but whatis that thing that you're made
for?
You know, and is there a firein your soul?
And I never really had thatuntil I was 20 years old.
God meets me in this moment andin his grace, because he knows
(10:16):
us so well.
He knows everything about usright, so he knew.
One of the first things that hespoke to me was Joel.
There's a calling, there is apurpose right.
And that's exactly what I neededto hear from him, because I was
spiraling in purposelessness.
And what is my?
Do I have any passions?
I'm just kind of going throughthe motions.
I love basketball.
So I was playing basketball atmy small Christian college.
(10:38):
You know, trying to figure itout.
That's not going anywhere.
You know, like God, what is mypurpose on this earth?
Why am I here?
And he said there's a calling,joel, but there's also a cost.
And will you give it all?
You know, and I knew in thatmoment that I was going to lay
it all down.
I said, Jesus, I'm giving you100%.
I don't want to just be 50% in,50% out.
(10:59):
I know that you're speaking tome right now.
I want to be fully in for thisthing that you've called me to.
And then he said there'ssomething about music.
You're called to advance mykingdom through worship and
through music.
And that blew my mind, becauseI actually always loved music.
I started playing the pianowhen I was like 12.
My mom taught me the basics onthere and I was always singing.
(11:20):
That's the funny thing aboutbeing on the farm is I wasn't
really, it wasn't superspiritual, but I was always
singing like out in the fields.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Oh, you were
connected.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Connected with the
Lord.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
That's the best place
is on the farm to be connected
with God.
In the hard times out theresweating, picking tomatoes, me
and my brother we were out therejust singing at the top of our
lungs and I really enjoyed it.
But I never thought there wasany like eternal purpose with it
.
It was just kind of likesomething I enjoyed, it was like
a cool hobby.
So in that moment now I'm 20years old God shows that to me
that there's a this eternal, like kingdom purpose with music
(11:53):
and with worship and advancinghis kingdom through it.
I was like mind blown, you know, like whoa.
I never saw that before, youknow.
So that year I picked up aguitar, started learning just
the basic chords, you know oh,at 20 years old at 20 yeah dang.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
So you weren't even
in like a.
You weren't part of worshipteams or nothing.
No, I was just a random collegekid dang yeah okay.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
So I picked up a
guitar, started, went back to
college one more year out in themiddle of nowhere, ohio small
school what'd you go to schoolfor?
Uh, I ended up declaring as anintercultural studies major.
Okay, so I enjoyed that a lot.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
What did you want?
Speaker 2 (12:29):
to do Basketball.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Basketball Okay.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Like the only purpose
I had for my life in high
school was basketball, as well, did you play any other sports?
A little bit of baseball inhigh school, but basketball was
my main thing.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
What positions you
play.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Like one or two guard
, nice, you know kind of
flip-flop both.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Yeah, yeah, love it.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
So that was my only
purpose right in college, first
couple years of college, andthen God totally changes
everything.
I go back one more year tocollege and I'm like a different
person and I start leading likethese small prayer and worship
meetings on my campus.
It and worship meetings on mycampus.
It's just like a few of us, youknow, and I'm learning the
guitar at that point, but I'mjust falling in love with Jesus
(13:13):
and worship.
So anyway, that was kind ofthat first initial kind of
moment with the.
Lord right, Like he just changedeverything.
I realized he was a lot morereal than I thought.
You know, I don't know if youguys ever had those moments
where you come in contact withlike the man with fire in his
eyes and you're like, oh, shoot, like you're actually real.
And it's like a fear of the Lordmoment, like you see the
(13:36):
burning desire and the passionand the jealousy for your life.
You know the, the calling onyour.
Only you can fulfill thatcalling that he's placed on your
life.
Right, I felt that fear of theLord in that moment.
It was like I'm all in, jesus,I'm all in, take me, take me.
I don't have any, and it's notworking anyway.
Right, that's the fun part.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
It's not going.
I ain't going to the league, sothis might be a better option.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, better option.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Yeah, exactly, bro,
that's awesome, so good yeah, no
, I think it's really good andyou brought up a good point,
especially for you knowlisteners is you don't really
know when you're that age, bro,20 years old, you're young.
You don't know what you want todo, you don't you don't really
know what your purpose is inlife.
Some some kids might, but mostdon't yeah you're still really
trying to figure things out.
You don't know what career youwant to move into.
(14:22):
The world's telling you you gotto do this, you got to do that,
you got to go to school, yougot to go here like your parents
yeah, they're paying playingthat influence on you and
everyone's got their opinions inyour life and what you should
do and you're just like I'mtrying to still figure out who I
am right literally.
So I think that's a good point,because I didn't even find out
till I was, you know, 30 yearsold, what my, like real, actual
(14:43):
purpose was.
Right, you know I'm 32 now,I'll be 33 in a couple months,
yeah, um, so you found, startedfinding that at 20.
But even once I started findingmy purpose, it took years of
like god slow, like an onionright, like slowly peeling back
the layers and revealingrevealing, revealing, revealing.
And now it's like, okay, I seewhat my God assigned purpose is
(15:07):
now?
Um, so I think that's awesome.
So, 20 years old, you pick upthe guitar, you start playing
music and then, and then what?
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Yeah.
Then something wild happens, like God starts speaking to me
about revival and, um, you know, here I am.
I'm a junior now at my schooland and I'm praying like God,
what is the move for me?
Because I never.
College for me was never reallyabout like getting a certain
degree and getting into acertain, you know, field of work
.
It was like just trying tofigure out my life right.
(15:36):
So here I am, three years inlike now God has encountered me.
I'm asking Him, like what isthe move here?
And he starts to speak to meabout revival on the West coast
and how I need to be there forit.
And so, just through a seriesof confirmations, I was praying
really hard, I was fasting thatsummer.
You know, like God, where, where am I to go?
And, um, he leads me back toPasadena.
(16:00):
My parents had just moved backthere too, so that was part of
it.
But I joined a discipleshipschool there in Pasadena called
Ekbalo.
That's a Greek word for like, send, from like Matthew 9, where
Jesus says the harvest isplentiful but the laborers are
few.
Therefore, pray to the Lord ofthe harvest to send, or Ekbalo
laborers, which is like it hasthis violent connotation.
(16:23):
It's like this very intentional, like hurling forth laborers in
which is like it has thisviolent connotation.
It's like this very intentional, like hurling forth laborers in
the harvest field.
Um, it's actually the same as atangent, but it's the same word
that Jesus uses when he'sdescribing the casting out of
demons.
So we like to say, like whenJesus casts out a demon, a
demon's got to go, right.
(16:43):
Yeah, in the same way, whenjesus sends a laborer, or it
follows a laborer, the laborerhas to go.
So that's part of what theschool is all about is praying
that prayer.
But then I'll.
It's so funny, like at the sametime, like being willing to be
the answer to your own prayersright, like you just said, here
I am, lord, send me.
(17:04):
So, anyway, that's where I was.
This is now 2018.
Joined that school, I'm gettingtrained.
We're, you know, growing in ourcharacter and community and
developing.
There's like a worship schoolconnected to the program too.
So developing, you know, myvoice and songwriting and
leading prayer sets and worshipnights.
(17:25):
It was amazing.
We're fasting and praying and Irealized I wasn't the only one
getting these words and thesedreams for revival in California
.
God was depositing this to awhole company of people, and so
we were leaning into those words, like God do it in our
generation.
Another Jesus movement in ourday, another outpouring of your
(17:47):
spirit, even like azusa street.
It was one of my favoriterevivals to read about, right,
right here in california, losangeles.
So we were praying into allthese words and it was amazing.
It's.
It's incredible.
We're growing, we're doingworship nights.
We're in back there in myauditorium, which is this, you
know, place where my family hasall this history, but even
beyond my family, like ourspiritual fathers, there's like
(18:07):
churches that have met in therelou engel, the call, harvest
rock, some of our just likespiritual lineage, you know yeah
had really connected to thatplace there and of course it's,
it's my, it's my name yeahand I've just felt so connected
to like the prophetic storylineover that campus and so it was
an incredible year and then itall just shuts down.
This is like.
(18:28):
This is what I want people tounderstand, like the hardships,
right of life, absolutely whereyou get these words?
You get these profound wordsthat you feel like are from the
lord and they probably are fromthe lord but then what do you do
when they all get tested and itall shuts down?
We got kicked out of thatbuilding.
The campus goes up for sale andit's sold to a secular
(18:51):
organization and they startdoing construction on the campus
, put an ugly pink fence uparound the whole place.
Right, I live next to thecampus.
I see all this happening likebefore my own eyes.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Every day you're just
like what is going literally,
yeah how how is that?
Because you have so muchconnected to what's happening,
like what god is doing in thisspecific yeah this specific area
, like is it you got?
Is like doubt setting in, likehow?
Like, how are you feelingemotionally at this point?
Speaker 2 (19:23):
yeah, no, I was.
I was starting to getfrustrated.
You know, I was reallywrestling with the lord watching
that happen, getting kicked outof that building.
And then what was crazy too, isthe pandemic rolled around
shortly after that, early 2020right and it was kind of like
this exclamation mark on thatwhole season of like God, what
(19:44):
the heck.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Like I left
everything, I moved here on this
word about revival, breakingout these words of the corporate
expression right, the gatheringpeople coming together, the
unity.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
And here we are now,
in early 2020.
It's like it couldn't be morepolar opposite of those words.
Everybody's being isolated, thechurch is shutting down, fear's
running rampant across theworld.
We're out, we're kicked out ofour building ugly pink fence,
like the whole, the whole thing, like.
And it was just this period ofa few months wrestling with the
Lord.
I remember like walking out onmy street one night, just fed up
(20:20):
and just like punching thefence with all my strength late
at night, and I'm just angry andI'm like yelling at god.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
I'm like this is not
what it was supposed to be right
, yeah it's not what youpictured it to be, what I
pictured it to be.
I think, like a good, uh, agood symbolism behind this is,
like you know an artist and likegod's the artist, he creates
this beautiful drawing andyou're like that's the most
amazing picture, and then hejust throws paint, a whole
(20:49):
bucket of paint, over, andyou're like, yeah, what the?
Heck, man Like totally, youknow.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I think there's
something God's doing even right
now, where I mean it's 2025 now, but like even in young people,
I mean it's 2025 now, but likeeven in young people, I think
the faster that we can let Godblow up our idea of who we think
he is, the faster we'llactually jump into our calling
(21:19):
and our destiny.
Now, that might sound funny tosay that's powerful, but I have
biblical precedent for it too.
Like I think of the, the storyof job.
That's totally what god's doingin that moment.
Like you think you know me, andI think that that whole story
like god is just like abattering ram, like over and
(21:39):
over again, like just explodingthat paradigm of who Job thought
God was, and then we see thatat the end, finally, he's like I
don't even know you and God'slike, yeah, exactly Now I'm
going to reveal who I am to you.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
And I think that
that's what was happening in my
life in that year 2020.
Like God's, like, you think youhave it all figured out, don't
you?
You have it all planned out.
It's going to look a certainway.
You moved here.
It's on your timeline.
This is all you, bro, you'redoing it all, it's all you, and
you told me that.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Joel's got this.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
That's what he said
he said it's so awesome, joel,
that you were on fire for twoyears Like you were killing it.
You were leading worship,You're fasting, you're growing
in your community, you'releading prayer sets.
It was amazing, bro, for twoyears Now what?
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, now it's time
to test how real that was right,
because he's got to allow thetests to come Exactly.
We've got to have thatcharacter, growth and
development.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
You do.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
We all need it, and
that's why I think trials and
tribulations are important, andnot just important for us to
experience, but important for usto appreciate.
Yeah, Because that's where realcharacter, growth and
development takes place isthrough those trials.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, and it's
painful and it sucks, but like
it's so true, god uses it.
So that moment when I'mpunching the fence, I'm yelling
at God.
I'm asking all these questions.
Of course, I don't hearanything.
It's like crickets.
I'm asking all these questions.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Of course I don't
hear anything.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
It's like crickets.
But I go back to my house and Irealize something when I walked
back in my door, like God wasbringing me to a crossroads.
It's like Joel, what do youreally believe?
And I knew that I had thisdecision to make.
It's either I'm going tocontinue and I'm just going to
go all in for these promisesthat he's given me, or I'm just
(23:25):
going to go all in for thesepromises that he's given me, or
I'm.
I'm checking out, that's it, I'mretiring and I'm just going to
live a normal life and makemoney and do whatever people do.
I don't know what they do, butlike that was.
It was like a hundred or zeroand it was like God is saying,
which one is it, joel?
And I said, oh, god, and that.
So that's the thing I alwayslove saying to people.
I don't advise being negativeand grumpy because we've been
(23:47):
given a spirit of joy.
As believers, this is ourportion, is joy, and so I don't
advise being negative and grumpyall the time, but I do advise
being honest with the Lord, because that was actually a key
moment for me where I was justreal with the Lord and I said,
god, this is so not what Ithought it was going to be Help
(24:09):
me.
You've got to meet me in thisplace.
And he so met me in that placeand this grace came over me just
to sign up again.
I said God, I don't want to be80 years old and I'm just grumpy
and jaded and offended at thepromises of God.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
That's not who he
called me to be.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
That's right yeah.
And the last thing on that is isin that same season, my friend
actually ends up having a reallypowerful dream that catalyzed
our whole movement.
I still feel like I'm spiraling, in a good way, from this dream
that he had about revival, andin the dream we were gathered
together on the beach and wewere worshiping God.
(24:45):
And then Jesus appears to myfriend in the dream.
This is one of my friends whowas in the discipleship school
with me.
We had led so many prayer setsand we were fasting together.
And so we're gathered togetheron the beach, we're worshiping
God.
Jesus appears to him in thedream, brings him to the edge of
the water and says do you hearthe sound of the water?
Almost, as if to ask like doyou see what's coming to
(25:07):
California and America?
This is 2020.
And the ground shakes thesecond time and Jesus says these
three things.
In the dream, he says thebattle in the land of California
has already been won.
Now, in 2020, it didn't feellike we were winning at all.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
It felt like we were
losing big time, right?
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
But what's the word
of the Lord?
The battle in the land ofCalifornia has already been won,
the ground has been preparedand now is the time for the
rains of my spirit.
And then a massive tsunami wavecomes from the ocean and it
floods the whole city and myfriend wakes up out of the dream
early in the morning.
He sends it to me.
He's like joel.
I know that that way wassymbolic of a wave of god's
(25:47):
spirit that's coming to ournation let's go and it's haggai
2 which talks about the shakingright wow
once more.
In a little while I will shakethe heavens and the earth, the
sea and the dry land, and what'sdesired by all nations will
come, which is jesus.
And then it talks about theglory.
The latter glory will begreater than the former Right.
So he sends me that dream.
(26:08):
A wave of God's spirit iscoming to our nation and tag I
too.
I think we got to get ready andI read that dream at my dinner
table in Pasadena.
And, bro, I just broke downbecause I knew God was speaking
to me.
Right after I'd had this momentof like, kind of here I am
again signing up af, up afresh.
Like God, I know you'respeaking through this dream.
I know I'm not like aprofessional prophet, but like
(26:31):
you're speaking through thisdream.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
You're tripping me
out right now, bro.
Hold on, hold on.
I'm gonna cry tears of joy.
Yes, um.
So the Lord speaks to my wifethrough dreams and she's been
telling me and this was just acouple months ago she had this
reoccurring dream which is rareyou don't really get reoccurring
(26:52):
dreams and she's had this dreamof this huge wave, the same
exact dream that you'redescribing, bro.
So I'm literally like trippingout right now and you're talking
about the land and looking like, and we were talking about my
story and testimony and whatGod's doing, you know, through
feeling faith, through thispodcast and through the movement
, and what we're really lookingto do to flood the internet with
(27:14):
Jesus.
Yeah, and so I got to pull thisup, bro, cause this is like wow
.
Thank you, Jesus, and this thisis like the first time we've met
in person, by the way.
Literally, we like this isreally.
This is our like first realconversation.
Actually we haven'tlegitimately, yeah, so so check
this out.
So I'll share a little bit ofmy, my story and what you know
(27:35):
god's kind of done in my lifeand how he's been speaking to me
, yeah.
So I'm gonna pull it up becauseit aligns with everything
you're saying right now and andit's got to be shared, bro, come
on.
Oh man, so this was FirstChronicles 16.
So I was in my tent.
I've shared the story.
It's on my podcast.
I'll send the link for anyonethat wants to hear it.
But I was in a tent in Malibu.
(27:56):
God sings to me, confirms itthrough First Chronicles 16, and
then gives me my mission andpurpose for life.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
And it aligns with
dude, exactly what you're saying
, oh.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I got to hear this,
Bro.
This is crazy, bro.
I can't believe this right now.
You're probably tripping outtoo.
Wait, Jack.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Jack's looking, he's
excited Dude.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
So 1 Chronicles 16,
14.
And I have it highlighted foranyone that can see it on the
camera he is the Lord, our God.
His justice is seen throughoutthe land.
And you're talking about theland, right?
He says I'll give you the landof Canaan as your special
possession, and this is allsymbolic.
1 Chronicles 16, 24.
(28:41):
Publish his glorious deedsamong the nations.
Tell everyone about the amazingthings he does.
And that's what you're doing,dude, that's your movement,
that's what we're doing.
We have alignment there.
We have a ton of alignment andyou're talking about what?
God's speaking through a groupof people?
Yeah, we're, it's true.
And look, dude, these are allhighlighted.
This is what god highlighted tome.
Let the sea and everything init shout his praise.
(29:04):
Let the fields and their cropsburst out with joy.
Dude, I was in my tent.
God just sang to me.
I was in my tent in malibu.
I'm listening to the waves, I'mlistening to the crickets, I'm
listening to the wind blowthrough the trees.
And he's singing and it's likean orchestra and it's getting
louder and louder and louder.
And I was just like, likealmost it almost felt like an
(29:25):
outer body experience.
I don't really know what that'slike, but it kind of felt like
that.
Like I was just connected, yeah, spiritually.
And then, right here, let thetrees of the forest sing for joy
before the Lord, for he iscoming to judge the earth, whoa.
And he was singing to me, bro, like literally singing to me.
No exaggeration, I was justtelling you the story before I
(29:47):
didn't share it, but now I'mdivinely sharing it I guess,
yeah, if, thanks to the lord, for he is good, his faithful
love endures forever, cry out, save us, oh god of our salvation
, gather and rescue us fromamong the nations, so we can
thank your holy name and rejoiceand praise you.
And then, first, chronicles1642.
They use their trumpets, symbols and other instruments to
(30:11):
accompany their songs of praise.
Bro, that's exactly what you'redoing, that's what we're doing,
that's what this is, that'swhat these are.
These are tools, these areinstruments.
My phone's an instrument, it'strue.
Huh, you're freaking guitar, you're dude, all of it, yeah,
and the sons of jaduthin wereappointed as gatekeepers.
Then all the people returned totheir homes and david turned
(30:31):
and went home to bless hisfamily wow bro, I gotta find it
is that a parallel of passageand I know some of chronicles in
second, first and second samuelkind of parallel.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
I just finished.
I gotta catch up.
I just I'm reading throughfirst and second Samuel and then
I'm into Kings now, but I'llget there soon.
Yeah, but David is my hero.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Yeah, it's my
favorite character other than
Jesus yeah, god speaks to methrough the story of David.
Like very, very often, I sharea lot in my podcast.
When I share my story, let's gobut dude, just the alignment
yeah, oh, I don't know.
That was crazy, bro, that's ourmission, dude?
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, it is our
mission.
It's raising up, it's a worshipmovement that God's raising up
right now, and I say thatbecause what I mean by that is
Malachi 1.11 prophesies about acoming day.
It's this incredible promisewhere it says from the rising of
the sun even to where it goesdown, in every place, in every
(31:28):
place, what incense will arise, which is the prayer and the
worship of the saints and a pureoffering.
Not an impure offering.
Purity, a pure offering, andthe name of the Lord will be
great among the nations.
So I say it's a worshipmovement because I'm seeing this
.
I think if you zoom out you cansee this on a broad scale, like
(31:49):
across the earth.
There's these pockets, there'sthese movements, these
communities of worship andprayer that's increasing.
That's right.
And it's not random.
No, it's because there's thistension building until that day
when the Son of God returns, amen.
There's going to be thiscrescendo, dude, and it's Isaiah
(32:14):
60, which darkness covers theearth, deep darkness the people,
but behold the glory of theLord.
So we're going to see thiscontinue over the next years.
Yes, I don't know how long.
Yes, just got to say get ready, yeah get ready yeah, I don't
know how long the darkness mayincrease, yes, but behold the
glory.
It's both at the same time, andthere's this increase of
worship and prayer.
Malachi 111, and that's whatthis passage is in Chronicles 2,
(32:35):
of let everything, let thepraise go forth on the cymbals
and on the stringed instruments, and the harps, and even the
crops.
Let the crops cry out.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
It's amazing, bro,
we're living in that right now,
bro yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
In a crazy moment.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Wow, that's a trip.
Thank you, lord.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Sorry, yeah, thank
you, lord, that's right.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Yeah, I didn't want
to jump off on that Cause I want
this.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
This is about you,
bro.
It's about your story andreally what God's doing with you
guys, that's amazing, that isamazing.
So well, let me tie that inthere.
Yeah, that's where I was goingto jump back in.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
Yeah, yeah, so let's,
let's keep this back to.
He had that he had that vision.
He shared with it.
Yeah, the waves are floodingthrough California.
He reaches out to you.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Yep.
So I'm in that moment, I'm justwrecked, right.
But I said, god, don't let mehave a cute emotional moment
here and I go to sleep tonightand I wake up tomorrow and just
forget about this and keepliving regular.
He said, god, you got to ruinme again in the best way in the
best way possible.
Or the call, call to revival, because he had spoken that to me
(33:42):
when I was 20 years old, acouple years prior to that,
right and uh.
But here I am again and, by theway, I think that's one of the
most powerful prayers.
Like isaiah prayed that righthere I am.
That's that's like so profoundto me because a lot of people
aren't there.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Right.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
And you say it sounds
like a simple prayer, but it's
one of the things I think Godcan do the most with here.
I am Lord, yes.
I could be a thousand placesright now, but here I am before
you, open, broken and a contriteheart before you.
Yeah Right.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Dude, I got a shirt
actually, and it was when I just
found the Lord, and it was whenI just found the lord and
there's an event in huntingtonbeach and they're giving out.
There's a church giving outfree shirts and on the back of
it is scripture here I am, sendme, come on, and so I.
From that day it's been, youknow, 12 years.
That's my consistent prayerhere I am send me yeah, I find
(34:36):
myself in.
You know certain situations, orI'm not walking it out here.
I am lord, send me.
Yeah, you find myself in.
You know certain situations, orI'm not walking it out here.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
I am lord, send me
yeah, you know that's it I get
distracted because we getdistracted bro.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
We get so distracted
and so it's like I need to come
back here.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
I am lord yeah here I
am send me it centers you right
, it does grounds you yeah sothat's what was happening in
this exchange now in 2020.
And we started doing stuff, man.
So when he called?
Speaker 1 (35:04):
I'm curious.
Yeah, he was on the phone whenhe called you.
He just texted that to me.
Oh, he texted to you, okay.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
And then what was the
conversation after?
Because you guys had to havejumped on a call or met face to
face and really Well, I mean, Itexted him back right away.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
I was like, dude,
this is the Lord.
I think he's asking us to dosomething.
Right now in California, in oneof the most unlikely seasons,
right, where there's lockdowns,where everybody's offended at
everybody, a lot of the churchwas shutting down, especially
out here in California.
So, but then in comes the wordof the Lord.
And what do we do, you know?
(35:40):
So we started doing stuff.
We were doing like houseworship nights I'm not, you know
, I'm just putting feelers out.
Can we gather in your backyardor your garage?
You know that summer and so westarted doing some nights.
It was really powerful.
One thing led to the next.
I meet my friend, ross Johnston, who started, ended up starting
the movement later on I'll getthere with me, but he was living
in san diego at the time and westarted doing this monthly
(36:02):
worship night down there, thischapel.
Just, we didn't even know themreally.
They just opened up their doorsto us.
We started doing like a young,a lot of young people were
coming.
We're just going after thisword.
And eventually I asked myfriend who had the dream, his
name's armando and uh, it's likedude, where were we in the
dream?
Do you remember, likegeographically, where we were?
and he said yeah, we were inhuntington beach wow and so at
(36:24):
that point I just turned to ourguys.
I was like we just got to dothe dream, yeah right, let's go,
let's like god speak, make thisreality just do the dream.
So now it's the summer of 21.
After doing a bunch of worshipnights and god was breathing on
this and homes and living rooms,it it was amazing chapels and
um, but eventually I'm like wegot to take this outside.
(36:44):
Let's go to the beach and justbelieve as we gather to cause.
That was the opening scene ofthe dream.
We're united together inworship and then it's a very
like there's such a biblicalprecedent for this dream too,
because it's Psalm 22.
I will inhabit.
Inhabit the praises of of mypeople, like god's presence
falls on the united worshipexpression.
(37:05):
So let's do the dream, let'sget together in worship and
let's believe god is going toshow up, his presence is going
to come, that's right, and thatwave of revival is going to
flood our city and spread acrossthe nation.
So we do it.
We don't have resources, wedon't have a following, we don't
have money.
We don't have anything but thisword from the Lord to go to the
(37:26):
beach and worship God andbelieve in the middle of one of
the most, you know, crazyseasons in America that there's
a better story that God'sestablishing in our land.
And we go up I don't know wherethese people came from like
three or four hundred peopleshow up right there by the pier
in huntington beach and we juststart going for it and worship.
We tried to get a permit, wedidn't really know what we were
(37:47):
doing.
The city was like I don't knowabout that, but we just showed
up anyway with a whole soundsystem and a whole band we just
start going for it.
Worship is like reverberatingacross the city.
We preach the gospel and peopleare walking off the beach right
, walking off the boardwalkstraight into an encounter with
Jesus.
We had so many testimonies ofpeople getting saved Like little
(38:08):
.
There was a little girl huggingone of our girls for like 20
minutes.
She's like mom.
I can't leave.
I feel the presence of God here.
We had like a couple repentingof sin and shortcomings in their
marriage.
They just have a totalreconciliation moment.
They repent.
They get born again.
We baptize them in the oceanright there, like I didn't
there's too many stories to sayeven say like people just
(38:29):
getting saved right there anddelivered.
And we baptized like a fewdozen people right there in the
ocean.
That weekend we did two nightslike that.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
It's like 2020, 2021
now, right, so did you guys did
a video go viral on that it?
Speaker 2 (38:45):
might have.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
I think I can't even
keep track anymore, just I think
I had seen that on social mediaand it was just yeah we had a,
I think one went kind of viral.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
One of my friends put
one on tiktok and so like a
bunch of young people showed upbecause of that video.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I remember yeah, I
just remember, I remember seeing
, yeah, I remember seeing that2021 yeah and I didn't, I didn't
follow you.
We like just got connected, right what two weeks ago?
Speaker 2 (39:08):
yeah, exactly, um,
wow, that's super powerful so
that was the first one, right,we didn't have a name or
anything, but we got there thatweek and we're like california
will be saved, meet, meet us inSan Diego in two weeks, nice.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
Right.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
So, like we did the
same thing two weeks later,
showed up on a beach in SanDiego, same are getting
delivered of demonic oppressionand receiving Jesus.
And so that was 2021.
(39:44):
We've been on a nonstop, reallylike a rampage across
California the last four years.
We've been to 35 cities now andGod's so faithful, he just
shows up.
He's had us keep it reallysimple.
We just bring worship and theproclamation of the gospel and
he's so faithful to show up inevery city that we've gone to.
(40:05):
He's been there and he's savedpeople and he's delivered people
and he's brought thisactivation Like some of my
favorite stories are here inmonths, years later, even now,
of people that got saved and nowthey're plugged into the local
church and they're gettingvision for their life and
they're raising up otherdisciples and they're getting,
(40:25):
you know, this mantle forworship and bringing it outside
and yeah, so anyway, bro, justthere's so much I could say
there, but god's here, like whatI always charge young people
especially and old, but but I'm,I'm 28.
I always love telling, like GenZ, like just stick around, don't
give up too soon.
Like you don't know what God'sdoing behind the scenes, the
divine underworkings of yourlife, in these moments of
(40:48):
testing.
That's right.
Right.
Just stick around and don'tgive way to skepticism and doubt
.
It's okay to be honest, you canask hard questions he loves that
but don't give way too soon tounbelief and doubt, because
God's doing something.
He's forming this tenacity andthis depth of faith right In
these moments of testing.
And I look back now and I'mjust so wrecked by God's
(41:12):
faithfulness and how he'ssteadied me and my team through
these hard moments, right andnow.
How we're starting to step intothese promises being fulfilled
really is what it is, and it'snot just because of me and my
team.
It's because people havelabored for years and decades my
spiritual fathers and mothersfor this moment we're in right
(41:33):
now.
That's right Like we have tosee it that way right, even
going back to generations likeGod's unfolding this divine,
redemptive storyline over theearth.
Right now we get to be a partof it that's truth.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
We have such a huge
opportunity, brother.
That story is amazing, um, andI'm sure you have a million
testimonies of things that youcan share, but we have such a
huge opportunity, especiallythrough, through media, you know
yeah social media just throughonline and the internet, and
what we're able to do and theimpact we're able to make um and
(42:09):
so what you guys are doing isit's life-changing.
And there's so many othertestimonies you haven't even,
you don't even know I know, likeyou don't even know that ripple
effect?
Speaker 2 (42:17):
I think it's.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
That's true and you
look back to that pink fence and
that season that God, youthought was closing doors Right.
And he said I ain't closingdoors, I'm just taking you out
of the building and I'm puttingyou into the streets.
I'm putting you into the farmbecause now it's time to start
(42:39):
planting, watering, yeah, andreaping.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
Let's go oh, he's so
faithful man, so this year we're
on this.
I don't know how long you wantto keep going.
Yeah, how much time.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
We got, bro, 50
minutes, all right, so like what
?
Speaker 2 (42:55):
10, 15 more minutes
all right, we're in a little bit
of a swirl here today.
This is cool.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
This is exciting.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Thanks for having me
on here, bro.
This is so fun.
Yeah, it is I just wanted toshare this one thing to connect
it to the King David mantle, because God was speaking to me
at the end of 2024, where youknow we've been going hard the
last three, four years.
At that point I was praying inOctober and I was like God,
(43:26):
what's coming to America?
And it was early October.
The elections are ramping up,things are getting intense and
I'm just like God, give me aglimpse of what's coming to
America, which I think some ofus should be more sneaky like
that with the Lord, interactwith the holy spirit like he
knows all things right, likegive me a glimpse.
I don't have to have the wholepicture, but what is coming,
it's the prophetic call.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
Let me peek yeah,
like a christmas present, you
know?
Speaker 2 (43:49):
yeah, exactly, yeah
so I'm praying that in my room
and immediately, bro, like I seethis vision just in my spirit.
I've never had an open like, like open-eyed vision.
Maybe God will give that to me.
That'd be, that'd be amazing.
But I get these like visionsjust in my spirit.
I don't know if that makessense.
Like I see this, like in mymind's eye, the Holy Spirit
(44:10):
brings me this picture of likeopen heavens over America and I
heard the sound of rain, like athick.
I don't know if you guys everbeen in like a one of those
thunderstorms, you know whereit's just like a torrential
outpouring of rain.
I heard that sound where it'skind of scary, but it's also
like exciting and peaceful atthe same time, right.
So I'm hearing that, I'm seeingthis and immediately the Lord
(44:34):
brought me to King David's life, because I knew that this rain
was connected to the worshipmovement that God was both
purifying and expanding in ourland, right?
So purity, like I just said, malachi 111, a pure offering.
But I thought of King David, because he initiated a worship
movement in his generation.
(44:55):
Like, if you zoom out and youlook at this thing, yeah, like
he raised up a worship movementin his day that in turn ended up
totally transforming the nationof israel, right like when he
stepped into kingship after saul.
The nation is kind of going upin flames.
It's starting to spiral.
Saul, you know, ends upcommitting suicide, basically,
(45:19):
and the nation is like inturmoil.
There's a lot of corruptiongoing on.
David finally, after all theseyears of testing right, talk
about testing stepped intokingship and the first thing he
does is he locates the abandonedArk of the Covenant, brings it
out of the forest, goes on thiswhole journey, bringing it back
to the center of Jerusalem.
That's that story of himdancing around before the ark of
(45:41):
the covenant in his underwearand his wife's in the palace
judging him.
I'll be even more undignifiedthan this he says, but he keeps
marching it straight in with allthis guy this is him and 30 000
of his men.
Like this is a big deal.
On day one of his administration, he's marching god's presence.
He's got an assignment on hislife and he sets up his
tabernacle, assigns thousands ofthe most skilled singers and
(46:03):
musicians from across the landto minister to God's presence
day and night.
This is how he sets up hisadministration and what happens
in the nation of Israel?
Like oh, no wonder it goes fromturmoil and chaos to now, all
of a sudden, god's favor andblessing.
It was like an open heaven forthe 33 years that he reigned
over Israel, like God's favorand blessing was established.
(46:24):
So, anyway, there's so much Icould say there, but like that's
what I'm seeing in that vision, like there's something about
the worship and I thought aboutKing David.
I knew in 2025 and probably inthe next couple years here in
America, we have this assignmentto raise up a pure movement of
worship that's going to clearthe air and it's going to bring
restoration to the land andGod's going to open.
(46:47):
We've called this whole tourOpen Heavens Tour.
We're going to be in Temeculain a few days, that's right.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
August 2nd.
We're believing that God'sgoing to open up the heavens
over California and unto Americaand the nations.
But there's something thatwe're grappling, we're holding
onto with this Davidic anointingin worship, where we lay hold
of the heart of God and we chaseHis heart for America and for
our cities and our families, andwe just believe that as we
(47:15):
bring worship into our cities,we share the gospel like God's
going to open up the heavensover America.
And I think we're in a keywindow of time right now in our
nation, a grace period where wegot to chase this thing.
The church has to seize hermoment.
We have to go full force ahead.
This is not one of thosemoments where we shrink back and
just say, oh, we're kind ofgoing back to normal or whatever
.
After the last few years, Iactually think I have a lot of
(47:37):
fear of the lord on it.
We have to put the pedal to themetal and it's gonna actually
affect how the next decade and acouple decades play out.
How the church responds rightnow.
That's right.
So but.
I just want to tie that in withthe whole.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
No, bro, that's,
that's amazing.
First chronicle 16 like that'sthe that's it, bro, first
chronicle 16.
Yeah, it's all there yeah davidplaced the ark inside the tent.
Um it, yes, it's all there, bro.
Yeah, it's all there, which iscrazy because there's so much
alignment here.
But we got to stop playingchurch.
(48:10):
Yeah, like we got.
Like we got to get out of thefour walls.
Yeah, like god did not call usto.
You know, come in on a sunday, roll out, you know, a couple
hours later and go back to whatyou were doing.
There's so many distractionsevery single day.
A one-hour sermon by yourpastor on a Sunday is not enough
(48:32):
time.
That's not enough time with God.
We got distractions literallyright in our pocket 24-7, 365.
We got to stop playing church.
We've got to rise up.
There's more you said it at thebeginning the harvest.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
Right, it's plentiful
.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
It is.
Speaker 1 (48:51):
There's a lot of
people that are going through
hardships, depression, divorces, abuse more than ever before,
and they need God and they'relooking for a Savior.
They're looking for that light, they're looking for the love
and the joy.
And who has it?
We do.
It's living inside of us, theHoly Spirit's living inside of
(49:12):
us and we just got to share it.
Hey mom, dad, brother, sister, neighbor, employee right, I see
so many people Like for us,we're a faith-based organization
, but I see so many people thatclaim to be believers, that love
Jesus, but they oust God fromtheir business.
Right, it's like dude, praywith your employees, yeah, like.
(49:34):
Do you love them?
Like, do you really love youremployees?
That's good.
Why are you keeping thegreatest gift of the world Dude
them?
Like, do you really love youremployees?
Why are you keeping thegreatest gift of the world, dude
?
Money can't buy that.
Yeah, right.
No, no boat, no airplane, novacation is going to bring you
that level of joy.
Yeah, or peace, right, like.
You're keeping the greatestgift from all of the people that
you love, at least share withyour community.
(49:57):
You know, and and we all do itwe're all victims, we all fall,
and so it's our job and it's ourresponsibility to take
ownership in that rise up, and Ilove what you guys are doing
and, uh, the movement behindthat and the, the vision that
god has has given you, and he'sgoing to continue to bring the
right people to partner withinthat vision you know, so that's
(50:19):
what he does.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
Yeah, builds, he
builds uh, the army, he does,
and I get the chance to meetpeople like you even today.
It's like you know, he takes uson these journeys and, like,
connects us to the ones that arepart of that.
For sure, that army.
So it's just, yeah, it's anhonor.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
That's amazing, bro.
That's amazing.
So you guys are here, you're inTemecula.
Yeah, august 2nd.
What can we expect, bro?
What's gonna happen August 2nd?
Speaker 2 (50:47):
well we'll see right,
god, this is crazy, you can do
whatever he wants.
I always like telling peoplelike let's, let's approach these
gatherings as if we we haven'teven seen anything yet.
Let's not come in with thismentality that we have it all
figured out and it's justanother gathering.
He's the infinite God Perfectanswer bro.
(51:09):
I think that's my best charge.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
Yes, we're going to
worship.
Obviously, we're going to sharethe message of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
We're going to
baptize people.
Come be baptized if you want.
It's going to be a reallypowerful moment, but we're
believing God to open up theheavens over our city and over
California, over our nation.
So, but it takes an army.
Let's believe together and justbelieve that God's establishing
his storyline over CaliforniaNot one of corruption and chaos
and darkness, but one of revival.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
Yeah, and let's stop
putting God in a box.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Yeah, that's key.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
Let's get it.
Yeah.
Throw the box away.
Yeah, Because so many peoplejust put God in this little 10
by 10, lock them in.
It's like all right.
And to your point earlier,right.
Yeah, I was talking about Job,like you don't even know me.
You, you don't even know me.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
You don't even know
what I'm capable of.
My favorite line he saysbecause Job's freaking out right
and God's like, brace yourselflike a man.
I'm going to speak to you, youwill answer me.
I will question you, you willanswer me.
And then he says this line thathas wrecked me, bro, for the
last several weeks.
He said were you there when Ilaid the foundations of the
earth?
(52:16):
And the foundations of theearth?
And then he goes on a wholerant after that.
But that was all I needed.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
I just read that
first line.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
I was like creator
God.
I don't even know you.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
Yeah, I don't even
know how roots grow down and
trees grow up.
I don't know how that littlething turns into that giant
thing.
Right, exactly, dude.
Yeah, bro, that's amazing,amazing, it's infinite.
I don't know how a fish swimsjust by wiggling its body.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
you know he goes into
all that.
Yeah, yeah, it's amazing.
You know the ordinances of theheavens so true, it's so true.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
And then we box them
in.
Yeah, like we know.
We know, yeah, we're soignorant, we're dummies at the
end of the day, right, like, onthe grand scheme of things, like
our brains are these littletiny pieces that have no idea
the magnitude of creator, andeven like spirit, like we people
(53:15):
.
You know, they don't even putthe Holy Spirit in a box, they
just say there isn't a HolySpirit.
You know, like, forget, don'teven put the holy spirit in a
box, they just say, say thereisn't a holy spirit.
You know, like, like, forgetabout it.
Yeah, you know, it's like, wow, like god tells us that we have
the power, yeah, the same powerthat rose jesus from the grave
living inside of us.
Yeah, and then you will denyanything, that it has any type
(53:39):
of correlation of power and whatthe true, real, genuine
capability of that power is.
Yeah, but it's living inside ofyou, right, but you don't even
believe it.
Dude, that's the craziest thing, right?
(54:01):
Always like to bring up likethis point, because so many
believers out there, you know, whether you're catholic or
baptist or pentecostal, like theenemy created those divisions,
like those divisions are not ofgod, right, right, we're all
part of the same family.
Yeah, and so, whatever youbelieve, right, and your
eschatology and all yourdivisional biblical pieces,
(54:23):
right, are irrelevant.
And so it doesn't matter whatdenomination you claim, as long
as you love Jesus, you believein his truth.
The gospel is the infallibleword of God, right.
He died on the cross for yoursins, right.
That's the core, that's whatmatters the most, yeah, and so I
(54:44):
really like to point that outespecially often, because there
is this level of division, and Ieven hear it from catholics,
like, yeah, like, oh, you're achristian, I'm a catholic.
I was like what the heck?
We're the?
We're the same, we're a family.
We're gonna be in heaventogether, bro.
Like, don't create a wallbetween us, we're brothers you
know, yeah, and I think that'sreally important and I think
(55:06):
even you know, like pastors andleaders, church leaders, need to
talk more about that, becausethere is this ideology that's
there that has this division.
I truly believe this is theseason, and I think worship is
doing it and is going tocontinue to do that to tear
those walls down.
Speaker 2 (55:26):
Those walls are
coming down.
Yeah, that's it.
I was just in a meeting theother night where the message
was about how worship unites, maybe more than anything else,
because we get outside ofourselves and we look to Jesus
and then when we start to sing, right, there's this unity that
happens, and so I think that'spart of why the worship is so
central to this thing.
(55:47):
God's raising up, you know.
So that's the goal, and Psalm133, how beautiful and pleasant
it is when you dwell togetherwith your brethren, and there's
an anointing right, there's ananointing that comes on the
unity.
So we're believing for that.
Speaker 1 (56:03):
Yeah, I love it.
Yeah, so rad bro.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
Thanks for having me,
bro.
Yeah, appreciate you.
This is so fun Topping it up,dude.
Speaker 1 (56:08):

Temecula, what God continues todo through you and your ministry
and your team and, you know, looking forward to seeing how
you save souls and make impactand continue reaping that
harvest bro.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
Yeah, there's a lot
more coming.
I think, yeah, that's what theLord keeps saying.
So I'm like all right, Lord, here we go.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
Just looking for that
day.
Well done, my good and faithfulservant, that's it.
You got to keep pushing, keepmoving and striving for that,
not get distracted.
Yeah, doesn't matter if you seea pink fence, just know that on
the other side of that pinkfence something bigger and
better.
So you're going to get overthat fence.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
Don't grow weary in
doing good.
Speaker 1 (57:01):
For in due time
you'll reap a harvest if you
don't give up.
Speaker 2 (57:02):
Amen, amen, I love it
