S1E29: Agenda of Christ’s Return

The bible provides an image of a series of events surrounding the return of Christ. Some people only focus on the topics that they like to see and tend to avoid the others that might come off as less palatable. Paul tells us in his second letter to Thessaloniki that when Jesus returns He would not just be bringing salvation and comfort to those who are His but that He also would bring a fiery vengeance from Yehovah to the world. Jesus is the judge and executioner for mankind and there are some specific actions that prophecy tells us He will come to fulfill. In this episode we take a look at the highlights of what Jesus will be doing when He returns beyond just rewards and rapture. 

 

"and to give rest with us to you who are troubled, at the revealing of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ," 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8
