Personlig assistans är synonymt med frihet. Det är självbestämmande i lagtext. Istället för förmyndigande och institution har du nu rätt att bestämma hur ditt liv ska levas, vem som ska assistera dig, med vad, på vilket sätt och vid vilken tidpunkt. Personlig assistans = ett liv på lika premisser.
