thing after eight o'clock this morning. It's one O two

Earlier in the show, I played a grab of this
lady explaining that she was in Japan on a holiday.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
She's a European standing woman.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
She's in Japan and she went to a well known
hotel chain and staying there. And she was lying down
and she thought she could smell something funny.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
She thought it was her hair or the bed sheets
at first, and then looked under the bit and someone
under there. She's going to explain it a little bit
like this.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
I booked my solo trip to Japan because I thought
Japan is a very safe country. I stayed in very
well known chain hotel in Japan, Upper Hotel that is
in Tokyo, near a real Goku tower. The place looked legit,
with a kid card that allowed me access only to
my floor and to my room. On the first day,
everything was fine. The next day, after a day of sightseeing,

I came back around seven thirty pm, unlocked my room
like usually, took off my claws down on the bed,
and then I noticed a weird smell. At first I
thought it was coming from my hair or the bad sheets,
but then I realized it was coming from under the bed. Jokingly,
I thought, what if the dead person laying under the bed.
But when I leaned over to check, I saw a

pair of eyes staring at me. I saw Asian men
under my bed. I started to scream and jump on
my feet. The man climbed out from under the bed
and stare at me for three seconds. Those seconds felt
like my life is over. Then he started to scream
too and ran out from my room. I screamed for help,

and the hotel administration came and called the police.

Imagine every police statement you made had that spooky music project.

There's one police constable that has the job of doing
the music behind the thing. So I thought, let's true
when accommodation went wrong, So I stuff to do with
your accommodation. It could be to do with when other
people are in a new place. I got I got
a key right, and was at a hotel once and
I was walking along and went to open the door.

Open the door and there was a.

Whole family is sitting and eating at the table and
I'm like, Hi, this is the right room, right and
I could open it and anyway, I went back to receptions.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
They had to move me. They gave me the key
and the room number to somewhere else and also Airbnb.
I stayed with my kids down the beach. There's a
woman in the roof.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I needed some gas for the for the to be
able to cook, so I called and I said, hey,
the gas isn't working, so we might need a new
gas bottle for the kitchen and she said, no worries,
I'll get it sorted. And within about a minute there
was a knock on the door and she was there
and I went, wow, that's you were quick. Where were

(02:56):
you And she said, oh, I'm just up there and
I said that's where we're staying. She said, yeah, yeah,
I'm just up in the attic in the roof. I'm
just in the roof. And at one point when we
were staying there, she was looking through shutters. My son
looked up and the shutters just shut really quickly through
a window into where we were living. God, so we
had a woman in the roof, so that was pretty creepy.

So just anything with your accommodation?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
What went wrong? You need to tell that story on
TikTok with the music and with the accent. I was staying,
was a lady in the roof. She was not an Asian.
