Tom Tom Trump has just and I know you want
to hook up with him and meete up with him,
but he's just done a tweet or whatever it is
on his own social media that he wants to make
movie tariffs a hundred percent if they're not made in Hollywood.
What do you make of that?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Well, my attitude is they would devastate our industry. You know,
we do a lot of foreign films and for them
to put one hundred percent tariff when we going to
take it back to screen it for the US market,
it won't make it affordable and it will deter US

film being film outside the US. And my thing is that,
you know we're a friendly country. Well, you know, you
can go tariff against a regime that's against the US,
but we're allies. And I just can't see, for the

life of me, why he would do that. He's only
un scrambling at the moment to go, Okay, what's the
ramification and also what's the timing and is it really
going through. We've got a US ambassador there sitting on
his hands and done nothing and hasn't been going to
see Trump. So maybe we've got to get somebody who

you know, you know, when Joe Hockey was there, he
was playing golf with Trump and getting in his ear
at the moment that the current US ambassador is really
a real dud.

Who is it right?
Speaker 2 (01:43):

My favorite part of everything there is you sounded so
was he told when he went they're doing nothing?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Well it is.

It is something that is going to affect us greatly.
So that the thing is what he just throws numbers out.
