like your Russell Crows and Robbie Williams and Henry Cavell.
And it was the Who's Who, which was so cool

and it went really really well. We would pull together
a good show here on the Gold Coast. Everyone should
be very very proud of what they've achieved. And it's
so nice to everyone kind of wandering around the community,
lots of star spotting and all that kind of stuff.
But I wanted to unpack a few of the award
wins if you didn't catch it on TV, because it
really is a celebration of all the stuff that we're
making here at the moment and how elite our television

and film crews are. So The first on Boyce Fallow's Universe,
who was written by Trent Dalton, you know, well, a
writer for the careerm Mal for so long, who had
this book in his head for so long, partly about
his own life, and he finally sat down and wrote it.
And then look at what it's done. It's got a
best selling book and now this amazing television series. So

it won a whole bunch of stuff. But the person
that carries all of our hearts is the young actor
and that's Felix Cameron, and he won out the Logis
and now he's won again a similar He won the
Best Best Actor Award, so he won against grown ups
and he was so cute in his speech.

Have you this one, actually, geez, I just want to
say it's really tough because in the presence of Stephen Curry,
I want to thank catering, catering and catering.

I can imagine if you won something that's what you do.

Now another big win was how to Make Gravy, which
of course is the Paul Kelly song that was created
into a movie. Meg Washington, we had her on air
and it all happened out of COVID. You know, a
lot of artists had a lot of time to sit
down and imagine things, and then now they're all being made,
and so Paul Kelly jumped up and accepted an award.

Sometimes music and pictures come together in a way that
transform them, transforms them both into a new thing. That's
the charge we're always hoping for, the alchemy of astonishment.
I love to thank Meg Washington and Nick Waderman for
taking my odd ball Christmas song and turning it into

a movie. It was a strange feeling to see those
characters who for years had just been named rolling out
of my mouth, suddenly talking and walking around, saying and
doing things I hadn't imagined, dumb and beautiful things. Another
great surprise, and that's the reason I write to be surprised.

I want all of us today to try and put
alchemy of astonishment and sentence some really beautiful a beautiful
turn of phrase. Kitty Flanagan one for fisk and if
you haven't watched it yet. Oh my god, it's a
great series. It is hilarious and I just love her.

For anyone who's thinking, oh geez, you can get off now,
I will just remind you that I did spend thirty
years in the industry not winning anything, so it's been
a while coming. I do get a lot of credit
for Fisk, which I deserve because I am smart enough
to surround myself with some of the best people, and
my core cast make me look so good. They are fantastic.

So she was meant. She was at one of the
prisoners as well, which is why she was like, you
must be sick of me, but you can never get
sick of Kitty flanagain.

That's right now. One of the big wins and the
big people of the night was, of course, Robbie Williams
flew to the Gold Coast to be a part of
it because Better Man the film, although it's an international film,
was made by Australians and here in Australia, so it's
a big celebration. I sadly haven't seen it yet because
I was out of the country when it was on.

Just did better at the box office something too.

That's one of those things I go, I'm so disappointed
for everyone involved. Well, look, he can do as well.
But on the other side, I'm so excited about what

Yeah, don't judge a film by a box office, I say,
because it could still roll out slowly on all the
streaming services and still become an absolute hit, and we
want that. So this is Gaili's endorsement of a really
good film, and then the actors have obviously endorsed it
as well, with so many wins. So Robbie who sang
Angels and everyone loved it, brought the house down. He
also gave this incredible.
