Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, honey, how are you going good?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Just thought we'd get the banana gag out for you?
Where you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
How are you doing? Thanks so much for coming into
the studio today.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
I'm unreal. This was perfect timing because I'm feeling good today.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
And if you weren't feeling good, you wouldn't come.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I just wouldn't show up. But you got me on
a good day. That's good.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
First of all, you're you've got a big T shirt
giveaway coming up.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yes, this Saturday at my Jim Cunny's HQ. Are we
allowed to say Connies on here?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yeah, snies?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Can we say this Saturday? John?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
When is it eight thirty am, three to one four
Burly Connection Road. We're given out hundreds of T shirts.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
So that's excellent.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, and all the fans will come down and see
you hopefully.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Every time you do it, you think he's anyone coming
to this thing, and then right there's a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
So well, it's always.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Nice the excitement of you just coming into the studio.
We've all worn the Cunny T shirts. We've had to
do the group email to all stuff saying that you're
coming in.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
If you want to get a photo. You are you?
How are you coping with all this relatively new fame.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Oh it's been going on a while, you get used
to it. I was lucky that it slowly built up
like linear, So yeah, it was becoming more and more
and I could cope with it as it was going.
It wasn't just like bang so well has learned to
deal over time. I don't know if I've gone insane
or not, but yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
How does it make you feel about knowing that you're
connecting with people? That's that's the key thing, because some
people will try and do things that you've been doing
and it doesn't take off. But you've made a connection
with so many people and it's getting bigger, so you
obviously know that you're working with connection.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Like, I think it's something you don't even realize it's happening,
because you think sometimes things happen, you're just like, what
is going on? Like the Spinkicked the Banana Phone, the
Cunny shirts. When we first released these shirts, we did
like a it was a pretty big order, but it
was conservative and it sold out in one minute, and
that's when it hit me.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I'm like, what, Yeah, what? You also can't say that
on it.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
What the hell, I know we're editing, so it's all good. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yeah, Now there's so much to love about you because
not only are you helping the community with their food
and eating and.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Weight loss goals or just health goals, but we love
your mom.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, Mama said about that.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
That's my favorite part of you. And then also your nephew.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Looking after your nephew, Like there's real hard in everything
you do.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Well, it's something I've always wanted to do, but now
I'm in the position to be able to do it
and to take that step. It's like you know that,
like You've got to be able to maintain this forever,
to be able to do this for them. So that's
that was the biggest thing for me, Like, all right,
once I do this, it's forever.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
So now here we.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Are, I can hear some emotion and you talking.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I have no emotion. It make you feel like to it.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I mean a lot of people would like to buy
a house for their mum, especially what mums do for us.
All When you initially did that, what was that initial feeling.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Like, Oh, it's just you honestly don't even know what's
going on, Like you're just standing there. I have more
moments now, Like I don't know if you guys know,
but my mum fell over, hit her head and she's
got a brain injury. At the moment, she's helping from rehab. Yeah,
we're just doing the best we can to look after her.
But like I looked at her yesterday and I just thought,
we did it. You know, like you get moments of

(03:30):
that ongoing, it's more than when you actually do it.
It's like later, it's constantly rewarding.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So and tell us.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
About your nephew as well.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
I'm looking out for nephew.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
He's just the man. He's a mini me. There's not
much more to say. He's had a tough life. But
then that was something I also wanted to do help him.
I actually have an older brother that helped me get
out of where I'm from and come here and start
my life. So I always had in the back of
my mind i'd be able to do that for my nephew.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
One day I knew it.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
So here we are now, can we touch on.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
That your life before all of this, that your brother
helped you out with.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I was just working in a bottle shop, living in
Western Sydney, living week to week and my brother was
here and he said move up, and I was like,
all right. I actually got to transfer with the bottle shop.
So I was working at Palm Beach BWS drive through
and my first shift, I got abuse three times in
ten minutes, and I was thinking, this is great.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I met the right place. Yeah, I love this. It's
like Blacktown on the beach.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
How much longer were you there before everything took off?

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Then I was going to the gym and I was
looking around seeing the PTS and I was thinking, you
know what, I might go finish my PT course that
I started two years ago and try this. So then
I just gave up. The bottle shop started as a
PT and I've been I was doing that for eight
or nine years, face to face, and then that's when
I started Instagram. So the last five years have been

(04:56):
online and it's just been I don't even know what
to say about it. Yea, even being here right now,
like what's going on cameras everywhere?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
What happened. It's like you blink your eyes and you're here.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
You've got a great take on exercise. I saw one
of your videos where you were talking about burpies, a
rubbish And you don't need to do burpie.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I fell in love with you.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, yeah, Look, you don't need to do anything. You
just need to be doing something you enjoy. I only
said that about the burpies to get engagement, to be honest, Like,
you can do a burpie if you want, and I've
got no problem with it. Yeah, but I know no
one likes them.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, so don't do them. You can.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
There's plenty of things you can do that you enjoy
that you're going to stick to. And that's the whole
point if you you don't have to force yourself to
do stuff that you hate.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
So what do you like doing?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Hanging out, taking mum out, shopping, exercise? Yeah, so I box.
I've been boxing for I don't know ten years, so
I like to do that for my cardio. Then just
a standard weight program to start my day, nothing crazy,
just just the basics consistently every week, better.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
In the morning.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
You think to get a good start with your exercise.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I think it's whatever your routine is. And like for
me at the moment, my routine's always changing, but it's
like what's working for me right now and at the moment,
the whole crew gets together at my gym at eight
am and we all train and then we go and
film our content for the day. So that's working really
well for me at the moment. But you don't have
to be jumping in nice baths, diping your face in

(06:26):
water start to start the morning. It's just we go
have a coffee, we go to the gym, and then
life's good for the day.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
And do you film every day?

Speaker 3 (06:34):
We try to as much as we can. It depends
what Trey's doing, if he's asleep or not.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
You've got a bit of an entourage following you around now,
and are you okay with all the peeps in your life?

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I'm there entourage to be honest. Without these guys, did
nothing happen? So we're all a team, okay?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
And what about walking around public now? It must be
a bit hard to you know, pop in a pack fair?
Are you getting mobbed? Or is the Gold Coast kind of.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Cool with you?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I think the Gold Coast is cool now, but it ransomly.
I don't get out too much these days. I try
and hibernate a bit, but sometimes it's crazy and sometimes
no one says anything, and I'm like, we are we
all good.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Here, did anyone come up to me? Has it got away?

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Did you see?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Did you see Robbie Williams?

Speaker 5 (07:21):
E did something similar walk through Hyde Park and no
one recognized him, and he was super upset. He was
literally going, I'm Robbie Williams. Now, let's talk about you
know the big house that you bought and then you've sold.
That must have been pretty cool. But what's the whole
story there?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Well, basically things change in life. So I bought it
thinking this is what I want, and then when I
moved into it, I thought, this isn't.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
What I want?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Why not? What was not about it for you?

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I'm curious because everyone thinks they want the huge million
dollar house and you're saying you don't.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I don't know who you've got. You've done it, and it's.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Just well, I'm not going to do it, so can
you tell me about that?

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I want the wholesome, just relaxed, like no pressure life.
You know, it's like this house. I've got people walking
in left, right and center. I've got the garden, and
I got like, what else have we got going on
in there? There's there is always someone walking in my house.
I go to chill in my room, someone's vacuum in
and I'm like, I've had enough of this shit. So

(08:22):
it's just too much maintenance, too much pressure.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
So what are you changing to a bigger one? No? No,
I'm actually building.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
One thing I missed was grass and just like the
house I had before, this was so like wholesome and
just chill. So I want to do like a better
version of that house, but not as crazy as the
one I'm in.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
So you can live with your mum for a while
while the house is built, since you kind of bought
that for us.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I'm actually moving in with my girlfriend. We're renting. Yeah,
we're kicking Mini see out.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
He's all good. I don't know, we'll figure that out.
He doesn't. If you listen, you've.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Got two weeks notice.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
He's going to throw a going away party in that
mansion for sure.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Well he's basically been living there by himself. He's the
one that's upset about it.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Nah, But yeah, I don't know. You think you know
what you want and then when you do it. I
feel like for me, I'm the sort of person that
wants to consistently be doing new things and keep pushing
the limits and testing myself. So when I bought this
house at that price range, it sort of locked me
in it. It didn't keep opportunity open to just be

(09:38):
floating around and doing what I want. Someone actually approached
me randomly. That's why I sold it. So I wasn't
planning to sell it. But someone walked up to me
when I was out and said, I'll see your house fare.
I goes sweet ring me next week, and he did.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
He sold it.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
That's the story.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, So when you're like moving around and changing things,
what's sort of next for you? Like, this is all
happening really great and quickly. Have you got other plans
that we don't know about yet that you might want
to give us a sneak peak a question.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
I'm trying to think what we got going on?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Well, what do you want to do?

Speaker 1 (10:08):
What's your dream?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I'm living my dream. I just want to keep doing.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
What I'm doing. I love my life. But this is
the thing.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
You can't just stop and be like, yeah, I'm happy
with where i'm at, because the second you're not going forwards,
you're going backwards, and someone's waiting. They want to be
the top sea. There can only be one.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
So yeah, we haven't got the enswer.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
It's basically I'm just I'm living it. What do you
mean wants my dream?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
But what more like?

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Next to me, I'm going to build the house. It's
going to be fulfilling me doing it myself and seeing
the end product. I'm going to have family kids, you know,
the whole kitchen sink. So you're having little seas mini
baby Sea. We're going to have a baby Sea. I
want a little daughter.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Do you why?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Why not? Well?

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I thought there might be like a you know, do
you want to be a girl dad? Do you want
to paint your nails?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Pay my nails?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:08):
I just want to raise a girl. I've got minis already. Yeah,
I got to skip all the ship part.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
He's a good kid.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Our little girl would complete the family.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
If there's anyone listening right now, getting back to your
exercise and that sort of thing, and they're struggling, they're
stuck for whatever reason, what's something in short that you
could actually say now that might get them motivated.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Hmm, Well that's a good question, a deep question.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
All right.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
It doesn't have to be that technical. All you got
to do is make one change to start. So it's
pretty simple. If you haven't been going to the gym,
just try to go to the gym two to three
times a week and don't worry about anything else. It's
one change, right. Once you do one change and you
consist them with it, you then want to add on

(12:00):
so it builds on that, and then you have these
ten things you want to achieve, one at a time,
and then it just becomes a part of your lifestyle.
So start easy, aim low, and then build from there.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
We have a philosophy have low expectation and you're never disappointed.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
Low expectation, happy life. Well, it has been a pleasure
to have you here in the studio. A big congratulations.
You're just such a success story for the Gold Coast.
We're super proud of you.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Thank you for having me. And this has been the
best radio interview I've ever done.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I love it, we love it. We're going to dine
on that for years.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
I say that every time
