Speaker 2 (00:05):

going on.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Tour and I know, I know, surprise boom.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I feel like you were just finishing a tourur though,
Is that right? This is a different one.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah. I think someone is either trying to kill me
or I don't know, there's something going on, but this
one actually feels This one feels a little special, just
because I've wanted to do it for so long and
just have never been able to find the right time.
So yeah, it feels good. Feels good coming off the
back of Arenas and just doing this a lot more

(00:40):
stripped back and telling some stories and yeah, it's just
not rushing the night. Yeah, it's just a more It's
a great night for everyone.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
You know.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You guys get to sit down, it's a lot more intimate.
We get to play some songs that I haven't played
in a while and tell the stories I've never told.
So it's going to be fun for everyone.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Do you have to pivot sometimes? Obviously you're doing show
off the show up to show, so some of the
stories would be linked in with the music. And you
would talk about the same things, but obviously you have
to pivot on the run to keep yourself fresh, and
people that see you multiple times want to see different
things too that you're chatting about.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yeah, well I think that's the That was the vibe
with this gaily, Like when when I sort of did
it randomly in Europe, like there was an open mic
night and I wasn't booked to play. Others there with
my band and they'll let you you get up, and
I got up and then I played a song, and
then the rest of the Germans in this little cafe
like play it another one, and I just was like

(01:36):
loving not having a set list and loving just like
I'll have a set list, I guess, but I want
it to be loose. I want it to be like,
you know, there's a rough idea of the night, but
this is also just fun for me and refreshing for
my brain and inspiration and I just wanted to, yeah,
to just feel inspiring and fun.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, going to be working hard though, Like I'm looking
at the dates. You're a hot on the first of
March and heading up to Womba for the second of March,
and then I'm on the third of March.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I haven't even looked at it. J giving me all right,
anxiety just kicked in, not giving you a break to
a manager.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Oh you're going to have to stay hydrated and stay
you know, rested in between shows. Actually, there's no time
for that. You're going boom boom boom.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
That's all right. There's people people look after me. I
got a really good team. So as long as I
get to the show on time. I think that's all
about Stanning like weekend at Bernie's to come on am.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Okay at the end, can you get rolled out in
the chair and hold your arm up?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
And what's Christmas looking like for you this year? Amy?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
It'll be it'll be interesting actually because it's the first
year without my nand so I'll probably be a bit emotional.
But also I've got such an incredible family with my
husband's side, and yeah, it's going to be fun, kids
and the pool and just a typical gc Ozie Christmas.

(03:11):
I'm excited, but it'll definitely be different.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Good for you, Dona, well, we love you and congratulations
on everything. We'll look forward to seeing you in Idol
