Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we don't say this often, but good morning El McPherson,
good morning, welcome.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I mean I say it all the time.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Are you in your dream in my imagination? How are
you well?
Speaker 2 (00:15):
So lovely to speak to you, and thanks for your
support for my book that comes out today.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
So it's so exciting for you. I've been following you
on Instagram for a while. It was nice to see
you step home into Australia. Did that feel good? Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Look, it's always wonderful to be home. And you know,
Felly has such a beautiful, unique energy. So I'm here
and it's the first launch the book that comes out
in America in November and then the rest of the
world's early twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Ell, do you want to tell us about the book?
It's about I guess wellness and beauty, which you're well
known for.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Oh, I think it's about a lot more than wellness
and beauty. It's that's really real life, not just my
real life, but everybody's like and you know, wellness and
beauty of course, is a part of it, me a
small part.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
How do you reckon your journey? As far as like
we talked with Touches on a lot of wellness as
part of your life anyway, but your evolution would have
obviously changed with more knowledge.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
How would you.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Sum up how your health life has been varied.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I've it's been a slow blossom, you know. Like my
adi vision of wellness was fitness. It was working out
and owned body. And as I had more information and
as I became more had more experience, I understood that
wellness is so much more than sort of fitness. It
(01:39):
is it's emotionally well, physically well, fruitally well, and mentally
well as well. Lots of worlds in there.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Do you being just the most beautiful woman in the world?
Did you struggle ever with that title? And and how
do you feel about aging? Because I feel like there's
a real push now for women to be proud of aging,
whereas before we were just well, we just didn't see
it because people stop printing it.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well, I think it's about adaptability. It's about adapted to
life and change. And they say that adaptability is a
super power, power of the future. The change is the
only consistent thing in life. You know. We've become enriched
over time and that is the beauty of it. Wisdom
comes with time and experience, and that is a beautiful
(02:30):
quality to uphold and to appreciate.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Now, you just made your runway comeback after fourteen years.
What was it like returning back to the Melbourne Fashion
Festival and will you be doing some more catwalk wark?
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, I listen, it was so wonderful to be able
to represent Australian fashion, and I want to support Australian fashion.
It was an honor to be asked and had fun.
But anymore or no, Listen, I live in the moment,
day by day. Today I'm talking to you right here,
right in this moment. I don't know what's going to
happen in the future. Having said that, I know that
(03:04):
whatever we focus on, we tend to magnetize into our life.
So I will be focusing on magnetizing you know, interesting
purposeful experiences that enriched my life and enrich the life
of others.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Well, well, it's just lovely to be speaking to you.
A big congratulations on this book and we really appreciate
that you took the time to talk to a little
old Gold Coast radio station and listen.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
I have a huge diffinity with the Gold Coasts and
so it goes on sale today.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
One more question, did you do an audio version? Because
I like to listen to books as I drive around
because I've got kids.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I read the audio and my beloved boyfriend Doyle Bramhall,
who's the musician and play with Eric Clapton, a lot
of brilliant artists for the audio book for the Music
Extraordinaries is scored with such sensitivity and understanding of each
chapter using frequencies, healing frequencies underlying all the pr work
(04:00):
or the people or the good we do, for example,
or Native American flutes. So check out the audio book.
It's really extraordinary. It's my favorite actually, and yeah it's
a good.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Thank you so much, thanks a lot. Okay, bye bye
