and Katerina, who is a psychic author an exorcist. We thought,
on the spookiest day of the year, it'd be great
to connect with you guys.

I know you get asked this all the time, James,
but do ghosts exist?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Of course they do. Hell yeah, they absolutely do. Yes,
And look, I understand people being skeptical. People won't prove
that's fair enough. They may or may not get it.
I've certainly had it, and Katerina has certainly had it.
She's been seeing them since she was about three years old.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Oh wow, tell us about that, Katerina.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Oh. Yes, From when I was very young, I was
able to see spirits. I used to speak with convicts.
I used to speak with the people who had passed
away but were still lingering, let's say, in the physical earth,
because they were afraid to transition into the spirit world.
So I was able to see them. They speak to me.

I would speak with them. I didn't sort of at
some stages I was too young people though they were
dead people. But then as obviously as I got older,
I began to understand that they were dead and that
they had somehow remained a little stuck here in the
earth reality.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Things did you talk about, Caterina? Like what?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Look, you know one day I was at school and
I came across a man at school. He was dead
in spirits and he used to wait for me every
day at the school gates to go how do I
get home? How do I get home? Look, he was
so lost. He didn't understand. What happens is when they

die and they remain in the physical reality, they just
loop in that same reality. They keep reliving a particular vision.
Perhaps it's like I'm looking for home, Like this guy
was trying to find his way back to his home,
his physical home, because he didn't realize he was dead.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Wow, that's sad.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
It is sad, and Jamie is sad. Yes, it's why
I took my career in that direction. I wanted to
help them, you know, I really wanted because that felt
so sad. I began to understand how lost they were,
and I really wanted to help them.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Now, James, what about you? Where have you seen ghosts?
Being the ghost whisperer? And how do people employ you
to help them and how okay.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
We look, I should probably correct you. I'm probably not
the Australian Ghost Whisper, like Theustralian ghostis. Spur Is refers
more to Katerina. Kaarine wrote a book many years ago
called The Australian Ghost Whisperer. So but as a team
we're also known as Theustralian Ghost Whisperer. So I know
it's a little confusing, but yeah, that's that's not really
my title. That's that's more Katerina's title. But having said that,

I lived in a house in Sydney several years ago
and it had ghost in it and there's no simple
way to say it, really and I was getting shaken
awake in my bed at night. I'd wake up sometimes
and see a figure standing next to the bed. My
ex partner got slapped on the face. It was really
really intense, and I knew, you know, the place was haunted,
(03:20):
and I wanted to move. And somehow someone putting on
a Caterina and she turned up to the house and
she was like, okay, this place packful of ghosts, which
was quite chilling, and she came in. Katerina clears she
can clear houses either in person or remotely, and she
came in and she cleared it of all the spirits
and sent them on their way, and the entire place
were completely different afterwards. So that was like one of

my first formative experiences of going, Okay, this is for real.
And when Katerine did her thing and it was so effective,
I was like, this person has an ability that I
just need to know more about.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
How did your ex partner get slapped in the face,
Like was she asleep or was she walking?
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Like what happened?
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah, she was walking through the house. Okay, so this
is a little because it's not that funny getting stuff
on the face, boy, girst isn't funny. But bought a
puppy home and we actually discovered that the spirit who
was in the house was a guy who used to
live there and it was his family home. And the
puppy did a pool on the carpet and I think
this spirit wasn't very happy about it, so he kind

of like gave her a little a little tap on
the face as though, like I don't like this, love it?
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Yeah, well he could have at least helped clean it up.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, it.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Can be if I can just add to that spirits
can be very territorial. It is their home. They still
feel that they own that home even though they're dead
and somebody else has moved into that home. They can
be extremely territorial. It's like, but this is my husband
in their reality. Remember, they don't really oh that they're dead,

so they believe that was moved in. They're the intruders.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
It's like Beetlejuice. You've seen the movie Beetle Juice.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yes, yeah, that's pressure all right.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
And how accurate is Beetlejuice Caterina even with the afterlife.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yes, that's right, that's right. So that's how it is.
Everybody's in there, just like we're have spiriting our reality
you in the physical, they are experiencing their reality and
in them in their beliefs this and they believe this
is my home. How dares somebody come in and, you know,
bring a dog that puts on our carpet? Or they
(05:37):
get very rate too when people I've been to people's
homes where they have pulled a house down to rebuild
their own dreen home, and the amount of issues that
they have had have been never ended to the point
where people have called me going we can't seem to
finish this build. We just keep getting interruptions and being

is going wrong, and it's those spirits that are so
angry
