Speaker 1 (00:00):
Filthy, stink and rich and experiences.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Maybe it's Galie, Emily Jade, one to nine hot Tomato.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Well, the locals one past makes you feel filthy rich
because you can go to the parks whenever you want.
And we decided, celebrating the fact that this is on
the Gold Coast, why not do four parks in one day.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Can it be done? Is the big question?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
And you know, so that you're fulfilled. You don't just
run into one place and do one thing and then go, oh,
we better go, and then you don't feel like, oh,
I didn't get the full experience at the different places.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
We made it a challenge by making sure that we
did like a show and a ride in every single place.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
We did it.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
And we want to say a big thank you to
the general manager of marketing, Renee Suda.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
We did it all high.
Speaker 5 (00:36):
How are you guys feeling?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
First up, thanks for letting us do it. That's the
first thing.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, and we're exhausted, but happy exhausted.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
There are worse things you could do for work.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
Absolutely, our absolute poor pleasure. You guys are champions. That
is a mammoth effort.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Now, Renee, we think we're the only people that have
done this on record.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
Let's go with that. Hey, I'm gonna say yes.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
One can we get like a plaque in front of
all the four parks.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Let's get you a trophy to commemorate before where we're.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
In with the koalas At Paradise Country, there's a koala
that's unnamed and we did meet periunca koala named after
the beautiful actress who cuddled that baby when she was here.
So I was thinking the new one could be called
like Gemily or something.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
That works.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
Yeah, the poor koala, she definitely get teased by the
other like that.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Maybe we could get our listeners to name the new.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Yeah, let's do that.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
We would love that. And look, you guys are champions
for doing that and four parks in one day. But
the advantage of our like locals one pass is it's
three hundred and sixty four days a year, so you
know you can just pop in for a couple of hours.
I was to any one park, do a show, do
a ride, and you know, get such great value out
of that pass all year long. So while you did
(02:07):
the marathon version, there's certainly a light touched version is
well available for anyone.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
I feel like anyone with that one pass.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
If you just want to shake it up with your kids,
you know, like the YouTubers do.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Let's go do this challenge, you know.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I think it's a really fun way to spend the
day working it out because the way we did it worked.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
But all the way through.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I kept thinking, oh, there's many ways to do this,
if that makes sense. Like I think if I was
to do it again when we got to SeaWorld and
then went and padded a dolphin, I think next time
I'd do a ride first, Like I'd run to the
ride first so that we don't have it's such a bigline,
if you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Yeah, you could almost do like a thrill itinerary, an
animal itinerary, a show itinerary. So yeah, you could cut
it a thousand different ways, so many. I think we
have over one hundred and fifteen rides, slide shows, and
attractions across the four part.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
The DC Heroes and Villains show at the end, and
because it was like that twilight time and the weather
had been nice and with some rollercoasters in the backdrop
at both ends of the streets and the sunset and
the smoke and everything, it was actually quite beautiful, but
at the same time we were entertained by all the
all the guys out there.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
It was a great way to end it.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Oh cool, that's such a cool experience, and it's a
school holiday special, so it runs through to the end
of the holidays we have on at the moment. But
I love that we ramp up all those characters and
shows at Movie World. It just makes it extra fun.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
So a couple of thoughts for you, since you are
the marketing manager, I feel like you need to do
like Koala therapy, so not just pat of Koala.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
We spent.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
What actually set us back and probably less time at
Movie World was that we were loving the.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Koalas so much. So I think there's something in Koala therapy.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
The other thing because of all the eucalyptus I ate.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah. And the other thing is I reckon you should
do like a four park in one day bus and
like master today and make it a thing.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Because Galliel I just kept going.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
This is because something this is marketable, because.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Some tourists come here and they might be here for
three days, right, and they can't do all the parks
the same way. But if they go, well, why don't
we have one day where we do all the parks
because they want to do other things as well, and
they've only got three days and then bang they get
to experience.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
It that way.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
If they've got a tour guide on the bus and
there's a small bus and a small group of people
that do these tours.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah, we just feel like it's a thing you could do,
so we'll leave you with that.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Thank you. We do actually have a little bus that
jets around between Movie World, Went and Wild and Paradise Country,
but not one to Sea World at the minute, So
that's definitely something we can explore.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
When you do that and it makes millions.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Just just remember us and sling the locals one pass
every year in payment.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Renee, thanks again for letting us do it, and our
Kobe and her family, our lovely listeners that came along.
They had the best day.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
And we had a guy Luke helping us from Movie
World from you guys from Village and we just loved him.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
He was lovely.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Oh that's great to hear you. We have such wonderful
team members. Yes, Luke and Jen who helped in the
background settle this up for you guys. So yeah, they're
amazing and yeah, so proud of you for doing this
milestone Gold Coast achievement.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah statue, Yeah get away.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Put us right next to Dorothy in the line and
the tin Man
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Next to the walrus at Sea World
