Pink Hotel in cool and Gatta. It's a great spot
and we've stayed there through the radio station before and
we had a terrific time. The rooms were great and
as I said, it's just in an amazing spot down
there at Cooley on the beach front. But it's been
there since nineteen sixty three different versions of course, but
it was all renovated inside and everything. It doesn't feel

like it's ready for a knockdown now, well it doesn't
feel like that, but this is the problem. So you've
got the Pink Hotel director is his name's Elliott Bork.
So mister Bork is trying to heritage list the hotel
to get it done because there's two Sydney owners and
the two Sydney owners are talking about knocking it down.
They put themselves they don't get it. They don't get

it because they're from Sydney and they're opportunists where we
are traditionalists and we are locals and hot tomatoes hundred
percent locals. So we're looking at the hotel staying here.
So he's got a bit of a mission to get through.
I mean, the business, like a lot of businesses in hospitality,
took a little bit of a hit when COVID happened,

and it's been a while to take in a while
to recover from that, and obviously they're in a program
with the ATO, as reported in the bulletin today. But
I just thought we'd open the phones up and just say,
do you are you all for progress? Just put whatever there?
Or would you like to see the Pink Hotel another
high rise? Yeah? Would you like to see the Pink
Hotel have that heritage listing and stay? Or would you

be happy to see another hotel or pub or establishment
be put up there? It'll probably be something high, right,
because they don't build low. I would say we ought
