Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good Tyler, good Money.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Guys, I don't want to ask this question, but I'm
going to how did you work out how much Goods
Money Gomez you ate? And how can everyone else do
it so they can reveal their addictions as well.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Okay, so if you're on the app, I believe that
there's a way you can actually just pull it from
the app. But me personally, I was trying to I
was breaking down expenses because at the end of the
financial year, so I exported everything out of CommBank into Excel,
bit Nerdy and then just filtered by it if it
was Goods Money, Gomez or Guig because some of them
have different names.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Okay, I'm out now.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I was like, if you were doing it within the
app or within the bank and you could just do
it that way, then I'm in.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
But the fact that you put it into Excel, I
can't do Xcel eight.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Yeah, well, so I know what you mean though, Like,
I'll probably do that when I get home.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Tell the Gold Coast how much you ate?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
So I have eaten the Goods Money Gomez last one
every year, three hundred and ninety five times, for a
total spend of six and a half grand, which it
sounds crazy, but it only ends up being one hundred
and twenty five dollars a week. However, the caveat is
I was out of the country for two months last
financial years, so it's actually a ten month spend.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Do you eat anything else?

Speaker 5 (01:10):
So that bumps up you weekly spend though, right it does?
Know what's a bump up? I'm not doing that math
man enough.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
So do you eat anything else?

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Is that your groceries?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
It's not my groceries, but I definitely spend way less
on groceries, like as a single guy in terms of
like living by myself, I spend about eighty bucks a week.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
On groceries like tops and what else do you eat?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Then?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
A meal? Prep?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Like one meal that I'll eat like for two or
three days for the week, So I might be like
pasta or a burrito bowl that i'll midalle prep as well.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
But yeah, So why is your name nickname not Gusy?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I don't know, mate.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
It might be a cultural thing there, but it is now.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
It might be yeah, Gusy Tyler Gomez, Yeah, something like that,
Like and what is it about sense?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Because money Gomez that you love so much?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Well, it's so like convenient because most of them are
drive throughs. Also, like for fast food, it's the seventy
fast foods that you feel like crap after Grismond, not
the case or so.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
The macros are pretty good.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Like I'm not you know, you're like the subway guy.
I remember the subway. You're probably too young for it.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, I don't know if I'm exactly like this.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You don't want to be like he ended up being
get in trouble.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
It was a criminal in the end, he was He
was not a good guy, so don't google it.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
So exactly the same, you're identical.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
He started eating it representation for the same reason made
me feel good. Then he lost a heap of weight.
You're a trim bloke.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, you know what I really wanted to, like, not
be associated with the subway. Yes, I'm doing a one
fast food a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yes, he led into that. He found your way there.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah. Now you now because of this, you've gone viral,
which is fun for you. Congratulations, But you're actually that
now part of it, Like you're branded.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Look at you, You've got gauzies all over you.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Well, they flew me down. They gave me all this
free merch. I feel like if I'm doing any appearances,
I gotta wear it. But also the merchant is pretty cool,
like this is let's hoodie. You can only get it
if you're a manager. So I walked into a good
money go man. They didn't recognize me, and I walk
in and they're like, they're all like, oh, look around,
not because it's important.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Can you please can we film you going in and
you have a can you take a clipboard in or something? Yeah,
and just go in and start looking behind where they're
making the food.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Everything for free too. Couldn't it just be like ordering
stuff I reckon.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I could walk in and just say, yeah, those fries
aren't good enough, mate, and you see.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
What they do just toick to them better, let me
test them, like the.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Secret shoppers that used to go in.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
And so when I went in, they didn't recognize me,
but what they were like, they're like, oh, here's a
cokeh it's not as cold as we'd like. We'll get
you a couple of ice too, And I'm like, what
is going on here? They went beyond the gave was
like a free chipsto.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
I would like, you're a manager, like you probably at
another store and they're still they're looking after you to
make sure it's right.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What's going to happen now other businesses that like make
hoodies are going to make exactly your hoodie and everyone's
going to be wearing them and confusing all the goosy
workers have so many managers at Goodies Amazon and just
recreate the shirt.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
They've got a really new way of doing their business
that they just have more managers than staff.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Do you know what?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
They already do good service. Though I'm a fan of
the brand as well, it's we all we actually got
excited because we thought you might bring it in for us.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I was thinking that I was like I should bring
it in. I was like, I don't know how that
works on all the radio stations, Like yeah, I should
have watched. I mean there's one like around the corner
for we know.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Are going to get it up. You're suggesting that you're
going to go there, and I'm suggesting there might be
something in the way, so.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Go and have lunch.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
So yeah, so what's next for you now now that
you've revealed this that you eat so much and Goodies
are looking after you?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Like what I mean? I suppose this is unplanned. But
what next for you?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Well, I mean I don't want to.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
If I drag this to the point of no return,
I'll be the good money going as guy to the
day I die.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
So's not a bad thing. Work for the subway, dies
in jail.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
So what's next to me? I've got a marketing agency
separate to this, completely unrelated. I do like business to
business clients. We do social media and content, but not
for food brands. So keep running out if I have to,
like tell my clients, hey, can I push this week's meeting.
I'm going viral for eating a lot of burrito bowls
And they're like, yeah, no worries, so yeah, probably back
to a bit and normously after this, I.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Think, okay, yeah, well, so what's your message to people?
Is it like, work out what you're eating just to
make are you not overeating or.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Is it no?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
This is my message to people.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
If you've have something in your life that brings you joy,
like goods, money, gomez, don't feel bad for getting it
every day, Like if you've got your morning coffee or
you've got your dessert that you like every night. Don't
let people be like, oh, you shouldn't be doing that
every day. If it makes you happy and it's not
hurt anyone, go for your life.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I reckon, Okay, that's good.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
That's a good way to go. It's a good life mantra.

doing a heading, But yeah, probably coffee.

Speaker 1 (05:27):

It's not just the coffee. He loves going to the place,
they get service, they write on the coffee. It's a
whole beautiful It is like I guess what do you
call it?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
The It's a journey. It's like a reality TV show.
I enjoyed my journey. Yeah yeah, yeah, so I reckon.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
If you add it up, it would be you might
be shocked.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Oh yeah, yeah possibly, I'd probably be out there with you.
Six and a half grand already, maybe more.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Jump change for a radio d mate.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Oh didn't you say your mom worked in radio. She
doesn't work in it anymore.
