You work up a sweat telling.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Jared all right, now, gather around. We're going to cut
mangos differently this season. Yeah, move close and move clos.
I'm going to try and explain something in radio that
is very visual. But how do you cut your mangos?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Gayly? I slice one side of the scent of the.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Core, yes, one side of the sea.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Side of the seed and the other side of the seed. Yes,
flip them and then just cut them down one way
and then criss cross, yes, and then pop them out,
and there's all these little squares and then you just
put it all over your face like you yep.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
And then to get the seed, do you then slice
a little bit of the skin and then peel the
skin around off to then suck on the seed?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
No? Oh okay, I bite into whatever mango is left
on the seed, Yes, and just scrape it off. But
I don't do that sucking thing.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
You do.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
You got to suck the skin. You have to.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
It's Australian. You have to sit out on the law
when you can, because it's mode nicely, and you cut
your mangoes and you do what you said, and then
you eat all of the little squares and then you
get your teeth and you run them down the skin
and you get all the goodness out.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I'll do it how I do it well. Anyway, no
more of that.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Oh man, maybe that could be my only fan.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Season mangoes.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Anyway, I saw this on Instagram and it's trending. We're
doing it wrong. So this is actually did you did
you edit it?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Right, there's some swearings out there's some Aussie guy who's like,
oh that right, but this is this is him discovering
this new way. And if you don't get it from
listening to this, I'll re explain it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I gotta try this. I'm a mango fanatic. I love
my mangoes. There's always summertime, the spring, diamonds trail, always
mangoes in the fridge. All right, So normally you your
mango down each side, cut the cheeks off this cheeck.
What she does she actually cuts it. We'll just take
the sticker off straight around the middle, so straight across

the guts like this, right the way around. And then
actually all she did was oh, oh, how awesome is that?
And then you just take a spoon and scoop out
your mango. Not a drop of juice. Look brilliant. I
was today years old when I land this.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
So did you get what he is? Said?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I do?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
So you've got two little bowls.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah, so basically exactly. Yeah, so you so will you
have you need to hold your mango upright?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, okay, so and then slice around that way.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
And then cut right round the middle.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Away from the pretty well yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
It's almost like you twist it and it comes apart.
The problem is, and I haven't done it yet. So
one you then get your spoon and you scoop it
out like a little bowl. But then I'm not sure
how you get the seed out of the other one
because the seed stay stuck in the bottom half of it.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Gotcha, Okay, all right, so you maybe you eat around
the seed.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Well maybe it's easy to dig out because you can
just dig down underneath the seed with your spoon and
then pop it out.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
But then that eliminates you getting to suck the seed.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
No, you still will suck the seed. Yeah, there's still
a little bit left on the seed. I'm still okay
on only fans.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, So I'm thinking if I'm managing you and you're
making all that money, and I get percentage for doing
absolutely nothing that I'm still in business.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You're still in business, right kind of, it won't be
as juicy. There won't be like juice or dripping down
your arms, which is what you get with mangoes.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I feel like it's just too much trouble. I can't
wait to try to try.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Okay, this is what I want to open up the
phones a have you tried it? Like, are you today
years old hearing this for the first time? Have you
seen it and then you tried it and did it work?
I don't think it'll work on squishier mangoes, mangoes on
their way out. I think it has to be a
nice right mango. But then also, do you cut something differently?
Do you cut a fruit differently? And you want to
share that on the radio, Because I used to cut watermelons,

you know, I'd cut them into the quarters and then
slice down in that typical smiley watermelon. And then I
saw someone the other day and they had the watermelon
flesh down and they sliced down on the cutting board
and then into little squares, and so then their mango
was like a rectangle. Does that make sense?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
It does, But it's very visual but.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
It changed the way I did cutting a watermelon differently,
much safer with the knife, and much easier for the kids.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
