Martha Jakob ist Schulleiterin, Unternehmerin, ehemalige Schulpräsidentin und war über mehrere Jahrzehnte Lehrerin auf verschiedenen Stufen. In ihrem Schulpräsidium wagte sie einen Tabubruch, indem sie sich für eine Durchmischung von verschiedensprachigen Kindern einsetzte. Dies führte zu einem grossen Medienecho mit vielen Reaktionen. Doch warum reagieren sowohl Schweizer:innen als auch Ausländer:innen so empfindlich auf diesen Versuch, Schulklassen diverser zu gestalten? Wie blickt Martha heute darauf zurück? Was ist ihr Problem mit dem Wort "Integration"?
Bei der Diskussion über den gegenwärtigen Stand der Schulen kommt man nicht um den Lehrpersonenmangel herum. Doch warum gibt es diesen überhaupt? Wo sieht Martha Probleme? Welche Lösungen schlägt sie vor?
Vor Kurzem hat der Zürcher Kantonsrat im Gesetz verankert, dass Noten gegeben werden müssen. Chantal stimmte als Einzige ihrer Fraktion dagegen. Amélie stellt den beiden ehemaligen Schulpräsidentinnen die Frage, inwiefern Noten Sinn machen und wie sie zu alternativen Beurteilungsformen stehen. Sind die beiden strenge Lehrerinnen?
