Simply Amazing by doing todayEverybody give it up for Mr
Amazing A taste of Game ofTraffic show.
We're going to talk aboutPlayStation.
Over the past 13 months, whathave they been doing, and do you
love it or hate it, mr Mazin?
What do you think, mr Mazin?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I think they had a
good year I think they had a
so-so year.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
You say so-so.
I say good, okay, mr Mazin.
Well, you know what, mr Mazin?
Yeah, let's begin the showtalking about the highlights, mr
Mazin, then afterwards we'll goto the lowlights, over the past
12 to 13 months, of thePlayStation 5 console.
Mr Mazin, let's begin the showtalking about your game, Astro
Bot.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
The biggest highlight
of the year.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, the biggest
highlight of PlayStation, astro
Bot, has sold.
I think it's sold over amillion copies at present day.
But, mr Mazin, the gamechairman, is that it won the
Game of the Year at JeffKeighley's Video Game Awards
show.
It also won over, I think.
No, not over, but over.
We'll say Zach 104 Game of theYear awards for this year.
(01:15):
So passing your game, mrAmazing.
You and Mom Got Game playedthis game.
What is it, mr Amazing?
Speaker 2 (01:22):
What I didn't hear
that word.
Say it again, mr Amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Oh, you did, Mr
Amazing.
What is it, Mr Amazing?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
What?
I didn't hear that word.
Say it again, mr Amazing.
Oh, you did, mr Amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
No, no, no, I'm
saying Astro Bot has won over no
, I won't say over had wonexactly 104 Game of the Year
awards, mr Bay, surpassing theprevious title holder, which was
Mr Amazing.
You know the name of the game.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Of course I know that
game.
Come on, that's one of myfavorite games.
It takes two it takes.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Two was held.
It with 83 game of the game ofthe year awards, especially for
a platform, mr amazing.
Okay, that's excellent,excellent a game that nobody
thought much of.
But mr mage, you played it.
Go more into it okay.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
so I played both
actually and let me just talk
about the previous holder.
It Takes Two is a fun game, especially if you have someone
to play it.
Together with the teaming upthe levels, it made it exciting.
So now I did complete that game.
Took me longer than I expected,to be honest with you, and now
I jumped into Astro Bot.
(02:22):
I'm about 14 hours in.
I want to say to be honest withyou and now I jumped into Astro
Bot.
I'm about 14 hours in.
I want to say give or take theway I do my missions.
I'm probably like 70% done withthe game.
Love the game so far.
I love how they iterateeverything Sony, all Sony
classics, from God of War, fromHorizon to Uncharted where the
big.
I don't want to give away toomuch because I know you didn't
play where they designed levelscreated to those major games
(02:44):
when you play as that character.
So I'll keep it at that.
And what I think makes it evenmuch more fun is the fact that a
lot of levels are like fiveminutes.
There's some a little longer,but you're not playing a level
where you're like, oh my God,what do I do?
What do I do?
Every level is straightforward, depending how much, of how much
you want to collect.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I keep that in mind.
Oh, yeah, sure, I started thegame.
I didn't, like I said, godetailed, deep into it.
I started the game to Deadline2.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, no, fair enough
I understand and Mortal Kombat.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
1.
Go ahead.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
So earlier you said
it's still 1 million, but as of
November it was standing at 1.5.
So you know, and scoring, andmore impressive was that 37% of
buyers to Astro Bot 2 were newusers who didn't play Part 1,
like me, so I jumped right intoit and I love it.
And the fact that this gameswept in stole the Game of War I
(03:36):
didn't say stole, but theyearned it it's kudos to them and
that's one of Sony's biggestfeatures on a year that a lot of
people said was not going to bea good year for games because
they didn't have none of theirmajor AAA games coming out.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
So that was very
impressive.
Sony snuck one in there and gotit, so shout out to them for
that.
True, true, true.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Alright, mr Mazin,
let's go to the Helldivers 2,
which is not published by.
It's not a first-party game,but published by Sony, mr
Amazing.
Helldivers 2 released inFebruary of this year, mr
Amazing.
It won a critical claim and ismaking bank, mr Amazing.
It sold over 12 million copieswithin three months.
(04:18):
Mr Amazing has won numerousawards.
Mr Amazing, this game was a bighit for Sony.
This is a game I think Sony didnot put much effort advertising
, but to the skills of thesedevelopers and the word of
amount of people, it's a big hitfor Sony places.
It's been a big hit for PCplayers and it's such a big hit
(04:39):
Yo Xbox players want to playthis game.
Begging Sony, please, please, can we please have one?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
No, no, you're right.
Actually, mr Amazing, that gamewas big.
Actually you called it, I think, if you credit where credit is
due.
Yes, I didn't see it and atfirst I was like, eh, but then I
sort of hyped behind.
I was like, oh, I got to get onto this man.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
And I'm sorry y'all,
I never got the copy.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
I'm sorry y'all, but
that was supposed to be one of
the.
I mean I wish I did get achance to play it.
The Helldivers was a sneaky onein there as well, and it blew
up and it's still growing andhopefully we can jump on that
one time too.
Mike, I mean, did the DLC comeout for it?
Didn't they drop a DLC on therethere?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
there are many.
There are many, uh, many, uhextra, um, we'll say dlc content
for it they supposed to have, Iforgot is it kills.
I believe it's kill zone okay, wow kill zone content uh kill
zone that's cool.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
You mean, you just
play that game a lot kill zone.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
So we'll see so.
But uh, mr amazing, anythingelse you want to say about that
particular game?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
No, no, but you came
up with two strong games for the
year so far for Sony man.
What else we jumping into, mrAmazing?
Speaker 1 (05:50):
another game Stealth,
Blade Stealth.
Blade okay, which was produced, published by Mr Shift Up
Studios and Shift Up Studiosmade bank from this game.
Shifters Studios made bank fromthis game.
Shifters Studios made $19million from Stella Bray.
In the second quarter Totalrevenue went up 65%, mr Mazin,
(06:12):
wow, we'll put a number to that$48 million, Mr Mazin?
Oh shoot, Damn it.
What's the button?
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Give it up for them.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Well-deserved.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
That's well-deserved
them.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Well deserved.
That's well deserved, mrAmazing.
So another thing, mr Amazing, another game that you find very
impressive.
You made a mistake and saidthis is better than Ghost of
Tsushima, not, for sure.
Rise of the Roman.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
I don't, okay, I'm
going to correct myself.
Yes, correct yourself.
Ghost of Tsushima.
I don't, okay, I'm going tocorrect myself.
Yes, correct yourself.
Ghost of Tsushima.
Aesthetically way better.
I do think aesthetically is waybetter, but I kind of prefer
the fighting scheme of Rise ofthe Rolling.
I like the fact with the gun, Ilike the fact that you're
really fighting, because if youdon't fight that you have to
(07:01):
know how to time things and hitthe buzzer at the right time and
when the enemies.
They got a little bit strongeras you got further, and how
different weapons.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
It's the same for
Ghost of Tsushima too.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
It is, but I find it
better on Rise of the Rising, I
mean that's your personalpreference, you know.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, I personally
find the fighting a little bit
better on there.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
This is.
I prefer Rise of the One Piece.
I think it was a better lookinggame, though that I hands down,
cause I don't know why thegraphics look a little outdated
to me.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Yes, it is outdated.
Mr Maze, it did look a littleoutdated.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yes, it is, but the
gameplay was really good though,
and my only other knock on Riseof the One Piece and I don't
want to keep sounding like I'mknocking, cause it was the
storyline.
It was very, very Convoluted, yeah, and at one point I was
like whose team am I fightingwith?
Yes, I'm like who am I saving?
I was like, okay, I got alittle bit confused there, to be
(07:52):
honest.
I'll be very honest with that,so I wish they did a better job
with the storyline.
But outside of that, love thegame.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
If again and do it
again.
Yeah, and this is thebest-selling game for Tech Home
Games.
I'm probably mispronouncing it,but it's the best-selling game
for them.
Okay, so Mr Amazing Shoo I meanfor his games not bad.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah, no, not at all,
Not at all, but Mr.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Amazing.
Let's go to PlayStation 5 sales.
Mr Amazing, PlayStation 5 saleshas surpassed what amount, Mr
Amazing $60 million, $67 millionconsole sold Almost there.
Mr Amazing, according toindustry insiders, playstation 5
was the most sold console ofNovember.
(08:42):
The PS Pro counted for 19% ofthose sales.
Mr Amazing and surprising thingis that the PS Pro 5 outsold
the PS4 Pro that came out 2016,which sold for a lower price,
which was kind of surprising.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
oh okay, you know
what I'm saying so anything else
you want to say about MrAmazing?
No, I mean, those were that'sgreat actually.
Actually, man, I think it'sgoing strong man.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Well, Mr Mason, let's
not end it there with PS5 sales
.
Oh, there's, a lot more PS4, no, sorry, PS5 VR sales.
It jumped up big time when itcut the prices in.
I believe it was August, MrMason, and you know what it
jumped up.
You know, Mr Amazing went for24 hours.
(09:33):
Sales jumped up to 2,350% in 24hours.
Wow, that's impressive.
Yeah, so, Mr Amazing.
So remember, earlier in theyear it was dead.
I mean, it's on life supportnow, Mr Amazing.
It's not dead, it's on lifesupport now, mr Amazing, he's
(09:54):
not dead, it's a life supportright now.
So, also, mr Amazing, ps5adapter has came to PC to bring
some life to the PC for the PS5.
I'm sorry, ps5 VR, mr Amazing.
So now you get to play PC games, elsa's theme games, which
include Half-Life, alyx, fallout4 VR and War of Thunder, mr
(10:17):
Amazing.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
That's cool.
Actually that's not bad, not abad line-up at all, y'all.
I feel like we're missinganother game too.
Actually that came out for thePlayStation man, I think, one
that's somewhat kind of big, youcan see.
Didn't Final Fantasy 7 come outearly part of the year?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
I know it's coming
out.
Yeah, Final Fantasy exclusive.
Was it 16?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yes, yeah, that
dropped off.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Was it a big?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
impact?
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
I think I didn't hear
people talking about it like
that you talk about it, butremember Square Enix was
disappointing the sales thatthey have.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Isn't that why they
opened it up to?
Speaker 1 (10:52):
the Other systems.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, I think Malfoy
was in early this year.
Did it come out already?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
No, the other systems
.
No, I think this year.
But the only reason I don'tthink it's a big deal going to
Xbox, because who cares?
There's Xbox.
I just thought they made amisstep.
Yes, you can make a.
Still put it on PC.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
No, of course.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
That's not what it
did.
I was like why are you notgoing to put it on PC?
Yeah, that would have been asmart thing to do.
Actually that was a smart thingto do.
I found that ridiculous withthe J.
I thought it was a misstep.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Yeah, I agree with
you on that.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You know what I'm
saying, but Mr Mason or reported
partnership with Sony Group andApple.
The two companies arediscussing possible Division Pro
(11:40):
supporting the VR handcontrollers.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Oh, that's good.
I hope Sony's all in on that.
All parties are all in and Sonyhas to be all in because they
need cells on that system Anykind of cells with them.
Yes, I think they're going tobe all in on that.
I mean, of course.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Anything else you
want to say about that?
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Not on that
specifically, but I just want to
drop one more, if you don'tmind, and I know it's not
official, exclusive my hands arein the button, but to me but to
me it is exclusive because it'snot out yet.
Black Myth Wukong, which is theChinese company that dropped
one of its first major AAA games, that was not supposed to have
the kind of sales success thatit had this year.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah, so 18 million
copies.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, I'm going to
say that's the surprise game of
the year.
Over your hell dive.
Oh yeah, over your hell dive.
Right, I'm going to say thatyou know we're Helldiver.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Ah, mr Mane, Because,
helldiver, we saw the potential
.
No, no, nobody knew that wascoming, nobody knew that was
coming.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Mr Mane, what I mean
by that is.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
I would put them on
equal level.
You gotta say as a live servicegame.
You say that put that categoryas a single player game.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Yes, that was wrong.
You're absolutely not wrong.
But the reason I'm going togive Black with Wukong a little
bit more credit is becauseHelldiver, like you said, is a
live service game.
The people make it more fun.
Black with Wukong is a singleplayer game where you were not
expecting for it to be what itwas, and what I mean by I
(13:07):
understand.
It's confusing.
Even I'm confused.
What the hell am I saying?
Yes, I'm confused.
And what I mean by that?
If y'all sit with me, I deservethat one.
And what I mean by that is Ifelt like it was going to make
numbers alone, because it's amultiplayer game.
It's a live service game, solike people are going to jump on
it regardless for Helldivers nostop it, stop it, I think
(13:28):
people are going to jump on itregardless.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Stop it, stop it.
They were Mike, mr Mason.
How?
Many live service games havefailed.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Tons of them.
So why are you going to sayyou're going to jump on it
Because that had potential?
You saw the potential on thatone.
No, no, mr Mason, you called it.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
I called it, but it
was no one told me this big Mr
Mason.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
No, and I agree with
you.
I just don't Black.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Mifukon.
No, I think you should justleave it like this as a live
service game.
No aspect of a Helldiver.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Got you.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
As a single player
game.
No aspect of a Black Mifukon.
You should leave it like thatand just leave it like that.
I don't need you going furtherthan that.
I do agree with you with that,Because they're both serving
different drawners.
You're right.
How much did Helldiver?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
sell again.
You said Huh, Did you?
Speaker 1 (14:13):
give me the sales In
the first three months 12
million copies 12 million.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
What was Black Mufuka
?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
It was more than that
.
It was 18 million copies Iwanted him to say that y'all.
Point proven.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
What point the sales,
michael Numbers.
Don't lie, michael.
It's amazing Numbers, don't?
Speaker 1 (14:28):
lie, I didn't say
with a lot, I'm not saying
they're different genres.
I'm not saying they'redifferent.
Nobody's playing both of thesegames, that type of success.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I know and you have
to have your opinion.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Your opinion is wrong
.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Your opinion can't be
wrong, buddy.
Your opinion can't be wrong, but I do understand what you're
saying.
Though, and I agree with whatyou're saying.
I just think Black Mufukonwould be the bigger.
I'm not going to say biggerstory, but, sales wise, I don't
think anyone saw that one coming.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Oh no, I don't think.
No, I know, I saw that coming.
Okay, I mean, those are my big.
I thought it would be a goodgame.
A lot of people were hyped upfor that game For which one.
Black Mufukon.
It was shown in severalshowcases.
People are still hyped up.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
They were, because it
was the whole mythological you
know thing to it, you know.
And you bring it onto aplatform.
Yeah, of course they'll be bigabout it.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Well, Mr Mason, let's
go on to a thing that me and
you both did.
Oh, what's that?
The PlayStation Portal.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Oh yeah, yeah, that
was last year.
It came out, it came outDecember, it came out November,
like November 2023.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Yeah, but it
continues to be a top seller in
Amazon.
It's been the top 10 gamingdevice accessory.
Mr Mason, okay, they also had aPlayStation anniversary edition
.
They did, and recentlyannounced the all black edition.
I didn't know about that Comingout in February.
(15:55):
Mr Mazin, it also has remoteplay and cloud streaming.
Now Cloud streaming is gettingmixed with views.
Some people said it's great, some people said it's mmm.
But, mr Mazin, this is a clearway for Portal 2.
That's all.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Exactly and you know
exactly what the Portal 2 is
going to be right, you can takeit outside.
You don't need, you don't needto play local.
It's not like a switch, but youcan.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
But you can do cloud
gaming and hook up to other wide
services, but you go to yourfriend's house, you go to a cafe
, starbucks, whatever that'strue.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
That is true.
I mean yes.
Did the portal surpass myexpectations?
Yes, it did.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
You can say our
expectations.
Yeah, our expectations becausewe both were like we don't know,
we laughed and giggled.
Mr Mason, yeah, we did.
We laughed and giggled, we did.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
But despite that,
despite the sales, ask yourself
this I think we don't have aportal, and I might be funny how
many stories you heard aboutthe portal, when a portal is a
two different experience.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Like I said, I know
two people got a portal.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Me too.
I probably know about two also, but my thing, is?
Is the portal something you canlive without?
Like?
Did you need to buy it?
Is it really worth the buy, yougot to step.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
We come from both
biased opinions.
No, no, of course we both laughand giggle that, mr Manny?
No, I understand that.
We thought it was gonna die amonth later.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
No, I agree, but I'm
not saying the portal sucks.
I think the portal is wonderful, what it did.
I'm just saying that I don'tthink the portal was a game
changer.
It was like the Switch you gotto be in close proximity to play
it.
You can't take it.
It wasn't like the.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Switch, not the
Switch, not the Switch.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Excuse me, the Wii.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
It was better than
the Wii.
The Wii, you go to the bathroom, yeah, I know, but you go to
the kitchen, oh shoot, no, Idisconnect, I disconnect.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
So go ahead with your
point.
No, it is better than that, Ithink.
Actually, now would I get one.
Yeah, I'll get one, I wouldn'tmind.
I wouldn't mind.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I'm not going to use
it.
Like I said, I'm not a bighandheld person.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
No, you always say
that I'm more of a handheld
person than you are.
But you know, everybody knows,if I'm going to get a handheld,
what it's going to be.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
I mean, I had to get
my beat on it was marijuana but
I have the little metal gearhere and there.
Yeah, okay, Mr Mason.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Shut the hell up, get
out of here.
That's nonsense, it's facts.
Get the block, get the block.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
All right, Mr Mason.
13 months, Mr Mason.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Uh-oh, wait, no, but
we can't finish.
Whoa, we didn't finish thehighlights.
What?
Speaker 1 (18:39):
other highlights.
Do you want to go to Well?
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I had the biggest one
of the year.
What Outside the gaming cells?
30-year anniversary man.
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
All right you're
going to say that, yes, yeah,
the 30-year anniversary with therecent pro and all that.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Those are big
highlights, man, yeah, come on.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
I forgot that.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Yeah, the 30th
anniversary edition.
And for those who got one ofthose, god bless you, because
that is the hardest thing to getright now.
What's the hardest thing to get?
I don't think you can get thatanymore unless you're paying top
dollars.
No, actually I saw much theywanted for that how much?
Speaker 1 (19:11):
$900.
Oh, not too bad Okay, becausefrom what I'm looking at, I was
like no.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Mike no.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
No, no, no and no.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
No, and I thought
what they did with the
3Diodeverse was dope, because Ilike the exclusive PS1 skin that
they had, dropping almost allPlayStation skin.
You know the portal, the remotethe controller.
I thought that was kind of cool.
So I love that they did that.
They did it for the Sony theme.
They rocked out the whole 30thanniversary thing.
(19:40):
They let it be knownDeservingly.
You guys have 30s around.
A lot of people can't say theyhave that in any kind of field
of life.
So shout out to Sony Happy 30thanniversary, keep going.
Strong, but that was probablythe biggest.
I and strong, but that wasprobably the biggest.
I keep saying the biggest, butthat is the biggest news for
Sony this year.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Alright, cool, cool,
cool.
Much respect, you actually gotsomething right on the show.
But, mr Amazing, let's go tothe lowlights of the Sony
PlayStation 5 for the past 12 to13 months.
Mr Amazing, let's begin withpricing.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Alright.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Sony PlayStation Pro
launched on November 7, mr
Amazing, people were skeptical, but outraged by Mr Amazing, by
the price of the PlayStation Pro.
I was what price was thePlayStation Pro when it launched
?
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Was it $600?
Was it $700?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
$700 improvement
$700,.
Mr Amazing $700, yeah $700.
And it did not come up with, mramazing no stand and no disc
drive, which is crazy.
And they want you to pay forthe stand.
I think it was 30 bucks.
That's crazy that's just crazyfor that price range, man and
also different regions of theglobal world got got price hikes
(20:47):
, even in the homeland, japansee the price hike.
No, usa did not see the pricehike.
No, usa did not see the priceheight.
Thank God, go USA.
Yay, the dual cents also wentup $5.
Look at that, it went up $5 inSeptember.
So it was amazing.
This year we started paying anextra $5.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
You know that right,
we're going to get those hikes
eventually too.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Where.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
On these, we're going
to get those hikes eventually
too.
Where On what you just said therest of the regions did, we're
going to get them For theconsole.
Yeah, the console, thecontroller, fight out of that.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
It's across the board
for the controller.
It's across the board.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Yeah, you're right,
but I'm just saying in general,
they're going to come to us too?
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I don't think so.
It just cannot.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
We'll see.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
No, I think you're
wrong.
I think you're wrong.
So all the dual cents, theStarlight, blue, galaxy Purple,
cosmic Red, midnight Black, everybody gets Sterling Silver.
Everybody got a price raise fordual cents.
You didn't get it early on thisyear, everybody got a price
hike.
(21:50):
Mm-hmm, oh, mr Amazing, mrAmazing.
What else do you anything got aprice hike?
So, mr Mazin, mr Mazin, whatelse do you anything else you
want to say with the consoleprice and all these hikes that
Sony did?
Speaker 2 (21:59):
That was that, I
guess, even though the fact that
they didn't drop any AAA gamesup, some people could look at
that as a low light.
It is a low light, mr Mazin,we'll go into that.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
You could look at it.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
I think they had
enough games to meet.
That satisfied me.
To be honest with you, that'slike I might say it couldn't be
because of the library.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
I was satisfied with
the library this year.
Yeah, I was, Mr Major.
The lack of games for this fallwas atrocious, Mr Major.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
It was, but there
were games.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
What games?
Okay, Astro Bot.
Oh, I forgot.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
And Lego Horizon.
Lego Horizon, yes, you're right.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
You the horizon.
Yes, you're right, you knowSony is not breaking by the
sales, though.
Right, you know they're notblogging all over the place.
That is true, and it was onSony and on the Timber Swiss, mr
Amazing which is a big surprise.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
There was no major
exclusives.
No, no, I'm not denying that.
But you, actually, you might beright I can't even combat that
to say something, but that wasall across the board.
You might be right, man Littlefool, you might be right
actually yeah, so even Sony withthe price hike.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Sony cited
challenging external environment
, including the fluctuation ofthe global market that may
decrease for prices in Japan andother regions of the world for
the console.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Yeah, not only that,
don't forget the stupid hikes on
their damn services for theinternet.
And all that Was it this year?
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Was it this year?
Speaker 2 (23:16):
No it was last year
Last year I got a source this
year.
I feel like there's a hikeevery year anyway.
It might have been last yearactually.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Well, Mr Bazin, you
already went to the Lack of
Games, so we briefly discussedthat.
So that's the big issue and Idon't know when they're going to
solve that, because 2025 wedon't see nothing.
The only thing we know aboutthe sequel to what's the game?
Which one, I don't know.
Oh, the game.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Ghost of.
Tsushima oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that was pretty cool to see,
actually, and it was another, another, another sequel to
another sequel game, the Kashimagame.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Oh, death Stranding,
death Stranding at the beach.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Yeah right, that's
the only game we know about yeah
, and then I mean I can't seethe game.
The game goes back so I can'tsee.
The year goes by so fast Ican't remember what's what
anymore.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Another low light for Sony wasthe leaks.
Was that this year?
Was that 2024?
Yeah, you said leaks.
Yeah, the leaks was a low lightbecause you know Sony wanted to
keep that Wolverine game on theleaks.
(24:28):
That game ain't coming outanytime, anytime.
I thought that game might comeout in 2026, but I'm reserved.
I wouldn't be surprised if USAgets it in 2027, 2028.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Probably 2027, not
2028.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yeah, because you
know that hurt.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
That hurt the VR
sales.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's a big one of the top
ones actually.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
VR sales went up for
a brief minute when we had the
price cut.
I got one.
Then afterwards the sales wentboom after the price cut in
August.
But the price cut in theholiday season is back up to
$500.
So, mr Amazing, the VR set wasa big flop for PlayStation so
(25:12):
far, but it should make acomeback.
No, stop lying.
It's on live support right now.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
It is, but we'll see
what happens with the whole
Apple and PC connection, see ifit does happen and hopefully I
can carry the numbers to betterrevenue for them.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
But, mr Mason, what's
the bigger flop?
The bigger flop is Concord, yep, the game that came out one day
and gone the next day.
That's right.
Close five five-walk studios.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Knocked out.
That thing wasn't't long enoughto make it to a blockbuster.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Late fee man damn, mr
Bazer, the African studio was
shut down to the fact that, yeah, the studio shut down.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Man, people lost
their job over this, which,
sadly, you know.
This field, that's the game.
You don't produce, you don'tkeep her rehearsal pumping them
up.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
I heard according to
rehearsal pumping them up.
I heard According to whatpeople are saying through the
media.
So Mr Amazing Concord, one ofthe biggest game at this point
of all time, Mr Amazing Couldrank up with ET.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
It could probably.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
So Mr Amazing and the
game cost between $204 million.
So that puts Sony in big time, damn Big time hole.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
That's why they gotta
keep raising those prices, man.
That's why your viewer costthat much.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Hell, I missed the
amazing.
But let's go to trailer week.
It's Daredevil.
It's coming to Disney in March.
Mr Amazing Daredevil Reborn.
Let's play the video.
Is it, Mr Amazing?
They're a reborn.
Let's play the video.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Is it remastered?
Let's find out, let's look atit.
I mean, is it a continuation?
It's a continuation, okay cool.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Remember they said
they're not going to do
something different.
Yeah, thank God Somebody was apimp, slap them and said what
the hell are you?
Speaker 2 (27:01):
doing yeah, because
why break it if it's good?
If it ain't broken, don't fixit so.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Mr Amazing.
One, two, three.
Let's play the trailer.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Nice, let me see this
.
I'm curious.
All right, that's my favoriteseries too.
I love them.
We're going to bring back LukeCage and all those others too.
I'm curious, we'll see.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Thank you for finding
the time.
I will admit it's not entirelyunpleasant seeing you again.
A lot of time has passed.
By the look of it, you've comeup in the world.
I could say the same about you.
(27:55):
The mayor serves his city.
I can see you're not entirelyconvinced.
Can you blame me?
I can't shake the feeling thatyou're gaming the system.
Why did you stop being avigilante?
The line was crossed.
It's hard to come to terms witha violent nature, hating the
(28:24):
power it has over us.
The city can't go unchecked.
Sometimes peace needs to bebroken and chaos must reign.
(28:47):
Am I putting the hatchet down?
I was raised to believe ingrace.
I was also raised to believe inretribution.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Mr Amazing, we're
here to get a trailer Dead.
They Were Born Again coming upMarch 4th this year.
Mr Amazing, you got to getDisney Plus to watch this show.
Mr Amazing, what do you think?
Because this is one of the bestseries, all the model TV shows.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Yeah, for me it
definitely is man, 100% it is
man.
I can't wait for that.
When it ended, when it was onNetflix, I was so disappointed.
I was like how can they do thisto me?
I'm invested.
But, ladies and gentlemen, it'sback on.
Now that it's back on, we getour main characters from the
Netflix version Kingpin thePunisher is there.
(30:08):
Waggy.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
Everybody is there,
the whole family.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
The only thing is it
looks like Kingpin is also on
Osepix too.
He lost a lot of weight, man.
Shout out to him for that man.
I saw the character, the actorthat plays him he was.
I saw the weight loss fromthere.
I was like, okay, is he goingto do it?
Because, remember, princealmost beat 450 pounds.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
That's you know he's
a big, big dude.
He's 450 pounds muscle too.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Well, that's true too
.
That's true too, but it looksgood, though, man.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
I can't wait to march
for that.
But should we green light it?
Red light this trailer.
Green light for me, man.
I guess we'll both green lightthe trailer.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
That's a no-brainer.
I think that's going to donumbers All right cool.
It's going to probably be upthere with the Star Wars.
That's the first Star Wars onDisney.
What Star Wars?
The Star Wars that's on theDisney thing.
The Mandalorian that's on theDisney thing, the Mandalorian
the numbers look really good onthat too.
Some good numbers up there withthat.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Yeah, the numbers
fell off in Mandalorian last
season.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
It fell off, yeah,
last season.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Oh, okay, all right,
mr Amazing, let's go to our
Should we Care topic of the week.
Mr Amazing, our Should we Caretopic is Our Should we Care
topic of the week is that Sonyhas announced at CES new, new,
new, new info regarding the IP.
(31:35):
Mr Amazing, let me go into it.
Ghost of the Seaman will havean animated series debuting on
Crunchyroll 2027,.
Mr Amazing, that's one time.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
I thought it
coincided With the movie, with
the game coming out, yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Helldivers 2, we have
a feature film Produced by Sony
Pictures, mr Amazing.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Is this in regards to
the Helldivers?
Speaker 1 (31:56):
I've seen Helldivers
2, but Helldivers Okay.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Is this in regards to
the new studio that they
acquired?
Are they the one that's doingthis, the one that we talk about
?
The last show?
Speaker 1 (32:04):
No, oh, okay.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
It's a movie.
Oh, okay, I thought you saidseries like a thing A movie
Until Dawn.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
We'll have a live
action film releasing in April
of this year.
That's cool, that's how thatgoes.
A new Lego Horizon Venture willhave a music.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
I haven't heard any
music until Okay, I don't know
Okay and Last of Us will havethe premiere of the new series
coming this year.
I believe it's in April.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That's cool.
I'm not mad at none of thesethings.
That's good news, man, I'm notmad at that.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Oh, did I say Last of
Horizon?
You said Last of Us?
Oh, last of Us.
Yeah, say Last of Horizon.
You said Last of Us.
Oh, last of Make Sure, yeah, last of Us.
Season 2 released in April onHBO Max, everybody.
Okay, that's what's up.
So, mr Mason, so we care a lot,a little or not at all about
this.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
I'm gonna say I care
a little bit.
I think that's good.
I mean, it's not for me, butthere's a cool stuff though, I
think it's cool.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I have a my thing.
I think they care a lot.
They're always trying tostretch their IPs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah they have astudio focused on making their
IPs bigger, larger on a globalscale, whether it's movies,
anime and TV shows.
That's why they acquired thatcompany.
Yeah, yeah, acquired thatcompany, yeah, yeah, so that
also helped by broadening out.
That's what I was talking about.
(33:28):
Oh, that's what you told me.
Yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, I think these care alot.
They're just only trying tomake the IP big.
It's like Nintendo was tryingto make that.
Nintendo's making the IP bigwith the Mario movie you know
what I'm saying with Nintendomusic.
Yeah, of course, until the alarmclock, so we're trying to make
different strides in making thatmoney you got to come out the
box, man, not just the games.
I mean Xbox, someone doing itwith their refrigerators and
(33:53):
toasters.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
They did and they
failed.
They did a little refrigerator.
Oh, Gene.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
I'm sorry, gene
Gene's saying that hell show was
good, that hell show wasgarbage.
I why I said you see, I fellasleep the only time garbage,
straight, garbage, straightgarbage.
So, mr Mazin, you care a little, I care a lot we both care at
different levels, differentlevels.
Mr Mazin, let's go to Gangstaand Wankster of the Week.
(34:17):
Mr Mazin, okay, I kind ofdifficult to say Sony or put it
in Gangsta and Wankster formator put it in a gangster and
gangster format, but we'll saySony recently announced two
unannounced live service games.
Mr Mazin, I didn't know that.
Mr Mazin, one of them was a Godof War live service game they
were going to create.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
I'm happy they did it
.
Thank God, can I do it?
I want to see a franchise gothat route.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
It was supposed to be
done by games and blend studios
.
The makers of uh shoot forgotthe game, but they they was also
gonna do uh a live service game.
What?
Speaker 2 (34:51):
kind of game.
Did they say a live servicegame?
Speaker 1 (34:54):
oh, I thought it's
like a specific one, like, oh,
okay I mean, was it a gangstermove I saw him want to do it or
wankster move?
I ain't even thinking aboutdoing that with single player
studios.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Wankster For me.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I think the wankster
is the thing where you're going
to stretch your IP to liveservice games.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
No, you don't want to
do that.
It's a big game like that.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I think they're doing
a disservice to Horizon Trying
to make a live service game.
That's a live service game.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
that's coming out.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Yeah, yeah, I think
it's a disservice to them.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Also, I think they're
trying to stress the IP way too
much, of course.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yeah, because
sometimes when you throw too
much of something at people, itturns them off.
Yeah, so like nah, just leaveit as your AAA game.
Yeah sure Don't need to do allthat other stuff with it.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Sometimes something
needs not to be touched.
If you want to multiplayertoday, you wouldn't do that.
That's fine, that's fine.
You know what I'm saying, butno.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
So I think we both.
It's the Wangsta Moon by Sony, that's right.
So, sony, you get the.
Wangsta of the Week.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Do you have any
shout-out that we're going to
give out?
I do.
Do you have one?
No, I don't know.
I'm Spanish.
I'm a rapper, singer I don'tknow what to classify because I
don't listen to music.
Bad Bunny, yeah, bad Bunny.
So I'll give a shout out to him.
He's one of the top sellers, sohe wants to shine more light on
Puerto Rico, and not justPuerto Rico, but a lot of the
Caribbean countries, but PuertoRico is where his birthplace,
(36:24):
arthur, is.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Dominican go ahead.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Yeah, so what Bad
Bunny did was he made first I
think it started for like 15-20shows, but he sold out so
quickly he had to add.
He had to add extra shows.
So what he did was to bringmore business to Puerto Rico.
He did a residency.
Instead of going to Vegas asmore people to do residency, he
went to Puerto Rico and to makesure he took care of the Puerto
(36:46):
Ricans.
First, he made the first fewshows.
Only locals could purchase thetickets and the other ones after
that are for anyone who couldfly out.
So because of that, tickets andshows are all sold out, hotels
are all booked, venues are allthings.
So he's bringing a lot of lightto Puerto Rico.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
So locals can resell
the tickets and make money.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
You can't go unless
you show ID that you live there.
The first few shows arestrictly for locals and the
ticket sales are like 20, 30bucks 400 IDs being sold.
No, but no, the ticket salesare really cheap.
So a lot of people here alreadyare buying out and he sold out.
All shows are sold out already,so that's going to bring a lot
of money.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Well, let's give a
shout out to all the
firefighters out in.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
LA, LA.
Yeah man, that's sad.
What's going on, man,Especially with that too People
losing homes.
Yeah man, they lost their lives.
Yeah man, you know what?
Speaker 1 (37:35):
I'm saying, and you
know, there's a lot of gaming
studios out in California too aswell.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah
likelihood 30-40 years of living
at a place that burned down torub shabbles about slide games.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
I know, you're right,
though I already took the
Playstation X, the last youthink it's about?
Speaker 2 (37:52):
no, I know my Switch,
no, but we gotta go.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
