Speaker 1 (00:06):
Let's do this.
Welcome everybody to anotherepisode of the Game of Traffic
Show.
I'm your host, mike Sampson, children of my co-hosts Simply
amazing what I'm doing today.
Everybody get up for Mr Amazing.
On today's Game of Traffic Show.
We're going to tell you allfinally, the switch has landed
and, mr Amazing, we're one ofthe very few people who actually
(00:26):
got a hold of the NintendoSwitch 2,.
Mr Amazing, this is the maintopic of the show.
This is all the topics of theshow with Nintendo today.
Mr Amazing, let's do this.
Let's begin the show.
What do you think of theNintendo Switch?
You had it in your hands.
You played some of it.
Well, not some of it, but youplayed we played it, we touched
on it.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I mean the eight-year
wait is over.
Finally, the successor to theSwitch is here, and no more
speculations.
We officially are in businessman.
So before we get to that game,Michael, you're the one that was
able to get one.
Oh, I went to go see.
I drove by the store because Ididn't have no reserves, so I
was like I just wanted to knowhow the lines were and it was
ridiculous.
But Mike was actually able togo in the store and actually
(01:10):
pick one up.
So let's start with that beforewe get into the games.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I actually went in
the store to go pick one up.
This is how I went about it.
The day the Nintendo Switchpre-orders happened, I went to
GameStop not too far from myhouse.
I asked him I was jokinglyasking, I came to pick up Final
Fury.
Um.
So I was like yo, yo, what's up?
Can I get a Taylor Swift?
You got more pre-orders.
(01:33):
He said nah, man, we sold out along time ago, so he's like nah
.
But my co-worker for anotherGameStop said she had a whole
bunch of them.
I was like nah, that ain't trueman.
Nah, believe me, bro, believeme.
So he called her up.
He had her on speaker.
She was like yo, we got over100.
That's good.
Yeah, over 100.
(01:53):
Mario bundle switches that's agood.
And she had 150 regular.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Switch 2s, just the
console itself, just the console
by itself.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
So it was like, oh
snap, regular Switch 2s, just
the console itself, just theconsole by itself.
So it was like, oh snap.
She was like.
So I asked her how comenobody's getting them?
She said nobody want to comeout on the hood.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
We know the secrets.
Now Go to the neighborhoodleast attractive.
And plus that area has noparking.
Oh yeah, that would do you too.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
There's no parking.
Anybody try to walk their newsystem in the streets.
You're going to get in and runto the car.
Yeah, I mean basically becauseyou know you don't want to try
to get a pre-order and you get aparking ticket, you got to hop
in a New York City train atmidnight.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Remember y'all, it's
a midnight release.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I don't know what the
hell this Macy's talking about
because it's the neighborhoodwe're talking about.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I know we're not
going to put the name out there,
but we know it is.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
We know it's not that
bad of an area, but one of the
main things is there's noparking lot.
A lot of game stops are inmalls or strip mall area.
Where there is a parking lot, there is a place you, you know,
set up shop and wait In thisarea.
You really can't do that, soyeah, so I went there.
(03:07):
So I went, there's nobodyreally there, got, yeah, so you
just pick it up.
So let's just say that I gavehim my $55.
I put that money for $55 down,right yeah $55.
$5 for a pole controller putdown and I put $50 down and the
Taylor Swift 2.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
So it's safe to say,
if you decide to go online at 10
o'clock or 9 o'clock, youwasn't getting one.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
What 10 o'clock when?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
For the midnight
release.
You weren't going to get one.
It's safe to say that.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
You had to be there
early.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
You had to be there
very early.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I think you had to at
least the first 100 people.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I went by my local
Best Buy and there was about 150
people online and that was likearound 11, 45 that Wednesday
going into Thursday.
Right, that came out Thursday,yeah.
So I was like, ooh, this isgoing to be crazy, so I can just
imagine how it is around.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
I dig it.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
You have to be at
least the first 200 people, I
agree with that and depending onwhat store you was at, maybe
biggest franchise.
In the area yeahises had morecopies.
But consoles we're lucky tohave one, but go ahead, mike man
, let me continue.
We have to give people a littlevision of how you went through
to get that.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
No, mr Mays, I just
skibassed way.
I got it.
You got to do what you got todo, man, we got it.
But Mr Mays thought he know Igot the pre-order.
Yeah, he lied.
So I was like yo, I'm going topick up the pre-order tonight.
You know I'm going to pick uptonight, on the day of the
release, and he was like yo, yo,you are.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
So that's why he went
by driving to Best Buy to see
if he was out there, just to seewhat this idiot was going to do
.
I was like this guy's going tocome.
He's at the house at 11 o'clock.
I'm like you still not good.
I was like you're going todrive best man, I'll give you a
heads up, but he had me fooled.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
He said that, yes, I
did have you fooled, but no big
deal, mr Maisy, we got it, soit's all good.
Yes, ms Smith, it is all goodIn the hood as the lady was
saying In to get these NintendoSwitches pre-orders.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
We all know the
secret now.
Now we're going to see morepeople out there doing the same
thing we did.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
So all right, Mr
Mason, what's your first
impression so far of theNintendo Switch?
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Oh, the first thing I
remember you did the unboxing
and the first thing I noticed, the very first thing I noticed,
was the size.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, it was a bigger
screen, definitely a bigger
screen, definitely a biggerscreen than the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Switch OG I bought.
I brought upstairs the NintendoOG and the Nintendo Switch 2.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
We both compared it
yeah, and it was noticeably much
larger.
The width was.
You know, it's the width to methat the width was larger, but
it still kept the same slim sizethough, which I love about that
, that they did do that, thatthey did do that, and then,
outside of that, the next thingI was amazed by was the magnetic
Joy-Con controllers yeah, theJoy-Con controllers is how it
(05:53):
was, like seamlessly, it hookedon yeah cause I had.
I was skeptical, but I was likethese things are probably gonna
break fast.
They're probably going to beflimsy, no, no.
It surprised me how sturdy theywere, how easily they slide
right on, and then the buttonsto release it.
It's perfect.
It's not so small as the priorSwitch, as the regular Switch,
but this was a little smooth.
(06:14):
I like the way it felt.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Personally, I did try
to disconnect it, while the
Switch I mean sorry, theJoy-Cons while in dock it's kind
of hard to try and pull it offYou're talking about while it's
stationed in the dock.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, stationed in
the dock.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I find it difficult
to pull it off if you just try
to take out the Joy-Cons whilethe PlayStation I mean sorry on
the Nintendo Switch 2 is docked.
That's why I find it kind ofdifficult to take it out.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Okay, okay, Okay.
So I mean, the next thing Iwould say is how big.
I feel like the buttons arebigger than Joy-Cons too.
That's also something that wasnotable.
They're not extremely large,but they're a little bit larger
than the prior Switch.
So that was somethingnoticeable, and the reason I
noticed that, to be honest withyou, is because when we first
got the Switch, we played MarioKart on that as well, and we all
(07:06):
struggled to play it on that onthe original Switch.
So that's why I don't know somuch how big, how larger it was.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
I mean to be honest,
I just think it's a little
bigger.
I think people with adult handsare still going to have
problems playing games for along time If you're just playing
with that small little Joy-Con.
I think after a while yourhands will cramp up.
Yeah, I know, I do.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
I don't think you're
playing Call of Duty for a
couple hours with those Joy-Cons.
Yeah, I would recommend that,be honest with you.
But I mean you know that's.
You know the nicks and nacksabout it.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, because I mean,
let's go back to the screen.
Yeah, the screen is what Mr1080 screen.
I know you're disappointed.
It wasn't 4K, 4k OLED you knowthat's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I thought it should.
It's 4K when it's docketed.
I thought they could at leastdid 4K even if it's not docketed
.
To be honest with you, theycould do that in there yeah, but
you want an OLED screen tooyeah, of course.
I mean I think you could do theOLED version and the regular, a
regular 4K version or 1080whatever, and have two price
points, like most systems do now.
Anyway, I thought that wouldhave been a good way to start
(08:08):
off, but they didn't.
I guess that's why they keptthe price low.
Nintendo tried to appease theirmass and keep the price low as
much as they can, because theydid start off with a higher
price point compared to theirPrime systems.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
But it does support
120 FPS, supports HDR10, and it
gives them more details smoother.
120 FPS supports HDR10, and itgives you more details, smoother
gameplay and the imagesbrighter brights, darker blacks.
So I did see that in why Iplayed in Handel for a while
today.
I did notice that in the MarioKart Mario World sorry, mario
(08:41):
World's game.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
No, that's good
though I mean when we well let's
good though I mean when we Well, let's get into a little bit of
the technologies of it.
So one thing I did notice isthat it was smooth for you to
transfer your Switch 1 contentto the Switch 2 content.
It was just literally justpretty much a plug-in and let's
just transfer.
It took up for a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
I would say no it did
take a few minutes Remember.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
That was because of
your connection.
Connection took a long time.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Your connection.
It took a long time, so itwasn't like snap, crackle drop.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
No, but that was
downloading the game, the Mario
game, but I think when you weretransferring it it was actually
pretty smooth actually.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
The transfer was
smooth.
The transfer was smooth.
It was down on the game.
That took a long time.
Transfer was smooth.
Down on the game took forever.
And that's basically due to theconnection.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah, so we had no
problem with that as well.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
So also, I played the
Switch on handheld mode.
We'll say over the old twohours the battery was up to 80%
of usage.
So that was pretty good.
But handheld mode it feltcomfortable.
Though the screen is always alot bigger switch, it felt
comfortable.
My hands didn't cramp oranything like that.
(09:53):
I'm not a handheld person.
The Switch will always playdock.
So I'm not a person who's goingto be walking around with my
Switch and taking it everywherewith me and playing all over the
house.
Most of the time I'll probablybe playing it on the TV.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Yeah, which is true,
and I also remember one of the
first concerts I made was when Ihad a homo.
When I tried it I was like, well, this feels very
comfortable and it reminds me ofa Steam Deck the size, to be
honest with you and I love theway the Steam Deck feels.
For me to say that, you know, tome it's a compliment to the
Switch 2.
So you know, I got to say andit was comfortable, I had
(10:28):
perfect grip even though it's alarger size.
All around it was perfect forme.
I had no issues with the sizeand holding it in handheld mode.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yeah, and the UI
screen, everything going to
settings.
No problem, it's very smoothyeah, exactly a little faster
than the Switch yeah, which istrue.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
So now, how about we
jump?
Do you want to jump into thegame yet or not yet, but also
with the Joy Cards.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
You could actually
remap it, yeah, yeah, yeah, you
could remap it.
Yeah, but I don't think thefirst one you could do that.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
No, I don't think the
first one.
You cannot do that.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
I don't remember
doing that the first one, you
cannot do that, but this one youcan do that.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
And you also, mr
Amazing, you can also.
It also has accessibilityaccessible, which is like for
people who Accessibility andwhatnot yes, larger text, bolder
, more contrast mode, so it'llbe easier if you want to read
stuff like that.
So you wanted to read stufflike that, so you have to read
it.
You can't hear you read thetext, stuff like that, so it's
(11:26):
great.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Good.
So Nintendo is making sure thatthey keep all audiences shot to
play, which is a beautifulthing.
We love stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Which is cool, which
is cool.
What else do you want to say,mr Amazing?
I won't jump into the that yet,but while I was playing the
Switch I had it on for threehours.
There was no problemoverheating.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
So the new cooling
system is working fine.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
The dock is a lot
bigger.
Well, we'll say a lot thicker.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
It's dirtier to me
and I like the blackness fields,
because I feel like the whiteone got dirty fast.
Well, mine did to be honestwith you.
I feel like it got dirty fast.
Well, mine did to be honestwith you, I think it got dirty
fast.
It looks more modern.
The docket station.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
I think it looks more
modern.
I think it looks more modern.
I give you a say it doesn'tlook flimsy yeah it doesn't look
flimsy, it looks like a littlebox.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
This one has a little
bit more arch to it, you know
like a sly-looking fast car.
You know that kind of look.
Baby got back.
Yeah, pretty much it looks morestylish to me.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah, so yeah, I mean
, I mean, like I said, one thing
I want to say I do agree withyou the Teno Switch should have
given a slightly different lookthan the OG Switch so you really
distinguish it from the OGSwitch, Because the only thing
that distinguishes it really theOG.
Switch.
Okay, because the only thingthat distinguishes it really is
(12:46):
the box, the boxing of it.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Okay, okay, okay,
okay.
But tell them what with themod-up?
If it ain't broken, they're notfixing it, but remember you was
complaining about that.
I was.
No, I didn't.
I did want it to come with adifferent design.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
You was stern
argument.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
No, I didn't.
I did want a different designto differentiate between the two
systems because they did look, but when I saw it in person, I
saw the size.
So the biggest.
The first thing I noticed tostart the show, it's the first
thing I said too the size.
I was like whoa, this thing isway bigger.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
So that was the first
that differentiated from me,
but at the end into the gamesPro Controller.
What do you think of that?
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Oh yeah, the Pro
Controller felt really good.
Yeah, the Pro Controller too.
Yes, it feels it leads moretowards the Xbox controller, to
me personally.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Every time you get a
controller like that, similar
mapping, everybody says thatit's the Xbox.
Yeah, it feels like the Xbox, but it's lighter.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
I feel like it's
lighter.
Yeah, I noticed when we wereplaying you I don't know you
were using the Pro Controllermore than I was.
Yes, I was.
You kept hitting the backbutton a lot, I noticed.
So I don't think it's just aproblem of getting used to the
controller.
I didn't you hit a couple oftimes because remember you the
game messing the gink?
Because when we were playingour you know, the Mario Kart,
(14:03):
mario World, you hit the buttona couple of times actually.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
So I don't know if
it's like.
I don't remember pausing it,you did.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
You hit it a couple
of times.
So I don't know.
You're not used to thecontroller, or is it you know?
Speaker 1 (14:13):
It's the first time
in a while, but it happens.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I've done that
several times it's probably just
a matter of getting used to thecontroller it is sometimes the
way my hand is but overall Ithink the controller is good.
I think it's going to be aperfect controller for fighting
games, for racing games, forfirst shooter games, first
person shooter games.
The pro controller is perfect.
I loved it on the priorversions and they perfected it
(14:43):
on this one.
Personally, I didn't buy theprior versions and they
perfected it on this one mepersonally.
I didn't buy the camera becauseI'm not going to use the camera.
We're not going to use that.
Let's keep it real, we're notgoing to use it and we, honestly
, we didn't use the game chatfeature yet.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yeah, we're not going
to change that feature, so
unless Mr Maisy gets one, or Iknow somebody also has a Switch,
but Switch 2, no one has Switch2.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, I don't know
anyone with the Switch 2 yet
outside of us.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, it was a funny
story.
While I was walking to my carwith the Switch 2, somebody said
excuse me, excuse me, it was abus driver.
Yeah, he's like yo.
Yo, you got the Switch.
Yeah, yeah, I got it.
I said, oh so you pre-orderedit?
Yeah, I got it.
You owe you pre.
I said oh, so you pre-ordered?
Yeah, I pre-ordered, damn.
So it was really demand, because while I was waiting in
line, people were like yo, youwaiting for the Switch?
(15:29):
It wasn't that big of a linewhen I went down went down
around 1130 to pick it up, so Isaved 10 people in front of me
Mike man you got to bring like agrocery store bag and put the
switch to inside a grocery storebag.
(15:49):
So if you don't know what, youcarry man Yo.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Mike is scared.
I'm like oh All, right, westarted the show.
Let everyone know where to goget one.
It ain't the best place to getone.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
No, no, no.
But Mr Basie, we both know him.
But it's not that bad, it's notthat to happen, yeah for those
who don't know, they're going tobe afraid.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
If he was in
Brownsville, Brooklyn, yes,
there might have been a problemEverybody.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I went to Brownsville
, brooklyn, when I was coming
from work.
I was walking through there Iwas like yo, why this place
called a seven?
There's a reason why buddy Iwas like yo, why this place
called a seven Yo, yo man, youin Brownsville I didn't know
where I was at at the time youin Brownsville, son.
I was like oh okay, okay, okay,I get it.
Now I understand.
(16:28):
Say no more, say no more.
So.
But anyway, Mr Bazer, let'stalk about the games.
Two games we played during theSwitch launch.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (16:41):
We'll go to Mario
Kart.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Yeah, obviously
because that's a Switch 2 game.
It came with the system.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
It came with the
system.
Yeah, so he had the preloadedone.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
We have to just
preload that, oh yeah, but be
careful, Because I thought itwas like the Sony, where it was
preloaded in there like AstroBot.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Oh, okay, okay, okay,
okay, Never lose that card yeah
so Please be careful with thatone.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
And they want to lose
and throw it out by mistake.
So, yeah, so, like I said, Ithought it was already
downloaded in the system.
But with your Nintendo SwitchMario Kart bundle, you have the
card with it and you go to theNintendo Store, put the code in,
boom and it downloaded noproblem.
Yeah, yeah, it did.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Downloaded Smooth,
yep, yep.
So, like Mike said, we startedoff with Mario World From the
onset.
It has what We'll say about 15playable characters, or more
than that.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Give or take yeah, we
earned some more.
We earned some as we wentthrough the circuits.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah, I think we did
like the first three circuits.
We did, yeah, so we earned somecharacters.
Your favorites are all there, mario Luigi.
You know, the favorites are allthere.
Baby Mario, baby Luigi.
Oh, wild Luigi, they're allthere.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
I mean they could
have been more, the cars could
have been more, but remember, you get those as you go through
the circuits.
I would have more better cars.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
As you go through
them, you get more, so we were
playing Off the bat.
What caught my eye was, likeall the reviews said, was how
large these stages are.
Now, they were not lying aboutthat, because there are multiple
ways to go through a stage.
Maybe be like one in a littlehidden thing, uh-uh, there's
like three ways now in a lot ofthese stages.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Yeah, but some of the
stages we were looking for ways
we couldn't find anything.
Yeah when we got to like thethird circuit.
We thought it was a section youcouldn't go.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You couldn't go.
Yeah, I know what you'retalking about.
That's when we got to the thirdcircuit, though, but I think
prior to the third circuit, whenwe got there, they were they
were different methods.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
In some ways we
thought there was a way to go in
there.
Oh, the shortcut.
Oh, we can't go in there, yeahwhich is true too.
We did find those spots too aswell.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Which is true, which
is true.
The gameplay I love it.
Simple, obviously, you get thatwhole button down.
It's more Mario, it's a typicalMario game.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
It's still Mario Kart
.
It's still Mario Kart.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
You have the same
what we would have called
weapons or accessories, man'sweapons.
Damn it To get through a stage.
They add new ones.
You have the same commoncompliant games.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Always had the hammer
, the.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Hammer one.
I think the Hammer one is new.
I can't remember.
I can't remember either, because you know this thing has
been for so long.
I can't remember as well.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
So you know they have
some new features as well too.
It was fun, easy to play.
We went through the circuit.
I noticed I personally felt thecomputers got harder as the
circuit started going.
I noticed I was going lower andlower in rank.
Oh no, paul Neal's gettingthose problems.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, what would that
be Paul Neal's like?
What when the character?
What the hell is this girlbothering?
Speaker 2 (19:42):
us for yeah, oh, one
of the big features, too, is the
amount of people that wasplaying at once.
It was more than eight people, yeah, 24.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
That was a lot of
people racing that game, so you
in knockout mode where we needto check that out.
That's coming.
We'll update it when our nextpodcast will update you
regarding that, absolutely, definitely will do that.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
For those who know me
, my favorite character is Luigi
, so you know I had him prettymuch on the showcase.
I thought it was Princess Peach.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
I thought you wanted
to promote the game.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I promoted it.
Hey, I'm probably going to gethit.
The cat comes to get hit.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Hey, he said the game
was going to outsell this other
game, but he didn't support it.
He didn't support it, right?
Speaker 2 (20:24):
I didn't support it,
I can't lie.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Then he didn't buy
the game Yo yo.
That don't mean I won't, though.
This is the man who bought theBarbie game when he was younger.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
So yeah, yo.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Hey, did you try to
give me the Burger King game?
Speaker 2 (20:37):
I did give you the
Burger King game.
I didn't put Xbox, I'm not sureit's worth any money.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Probably not, but go
on, mr Amazing.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
So you know we got it
today.
We had a good time, we playedit.
First of all, circuits.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
No one want to play
with us.
We asked the fan members toplay with us.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah, they didn't
want to jump in.
They're probably nervous.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
I don't know it was
late.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Like you said, it was
late, though it was late, it
was late, so yeah.
We'll have more time.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, the game was
good.
The game was good, more MarioKart.
If you like Mario Kart, it'smore Mario Kart.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yeah, exactly, If you
like Mario Kart you're going to
Contra game, yeah that was good.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
That was good, but I
think the PlayStation 5 version
is a lot better.
I played the demo.
I think the characters are alot larger.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Man, come on, man,
You're playing PlayStation 5?
Playstation 2.
A lot larger.
You can't sit here and comparea PlayStation 5 character to
another Switch character.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
A little more A big
difference there, buddy A little
more definition.
You know, the pipe thorns looka little bigger, but it was good
.
There was no frame drops.
No, not at all.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Not at all.
It was very easy to use too, actually.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Yeah, so we have fun.
We got to go back and play it.
It was good.
I want to try the fightinggames on it.
Okay, as Skullgirls on it,girls on, see how it plays on
that street fighter 6 also, Ithink that's.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
That's outside.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Oh yeah, you gonna
buy street fighter 6 for it, I
have it, I'm gonna pay us five.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
No, I got, I got
school girls okay, we could try
that in another fighting game.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Post again, post
again to amazon.
So we'll try to see how they go.
We'll.
We'll tell you our progresswith the uh, with the switch.
Um, do the podcast.
We'll tell you our progress onit.
It won't be the next podcast, but the following podcast will
give you more update on.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
You'll probably get a
larger scale review from me
when, I think, when Donkey Kongcomes out, because that's a game
, I'm really looking forward tothe new Donkey Kong, because I
love the Donkey Kong games, tobe honest with you.
So when that comes out and thatgame looks really good, we have
mastered it by then.
Maybe we've used the chatfeature, who knows?
Speaker 1 (22:41):
but is this like,
like I said, we need more time,
we need more, we need more timein the oven, yeah, to really
give our more of our better viewof the Nintendo Switch and you
know, and let it go to a regularroll of a game system for just
playing for a couple hours, acouple of days really can't give
the test to a test of time.
Woody, give a big observationof it exactly, I agree with that
(23:03):
you know cause?
a country game it played, noproblem.
No problem, it's not like we'llsay cyberpunk, yeah, it's more
taxing game exactly than thecountry game, which is a side
scroll game shooter.
So we'll try to fight a gamewith the imports and stuff like
that.
See how that plays.
And we'll try another co-opgame on this.
See how it goes.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
And like I said when
Donkey Kong, I think it's going
to be a good game on that too.
Actually, yeah, I'd beinterested too.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
What's the name of
the Donkey Kong game again, the
new one that's coming out?
I?
Speaker 2 (23:34):
think August is
coming out.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
No, no, next month's
called July, what's?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
July.
What's the name?
Oh God, I got shit I'll make itcalled Don't Come Freeze, but
it's not.
Don't Come Freeze.
No, no, no, no, no that game.
It is the Nintendo Switch.
Guys, you guys got to pardon mebecause I don't know enough in
my head.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
I forgot about the
top of my head.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Okay, it's amazing.
I'm just and that game is goingto be called yeah, it would be
nice if it popped up, but itdidn't.
Donkey Kong Country 2.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
I played Metro Prime
when there was no you know, I
said no frame rate drop.
It did look more colorful on it.
So yeah, so far the experiencehas been good on the Nintendo
Switch 2.
But Mr Mazer doesn't know.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Donkey Kong Bonanza.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yeah, coming out July
17th.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
That's way off though
.
Yeah, that's way off, but thething I have with the Nintendo
Switch on that concern, where'sthe outlook for the next six
months for the Nintendo Switch?
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Well, they have a
relevant.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
What's your opinion,
Mr Mazin?
Oh, I think it's going to be.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I think, mr Mazin, oh
, I think it's going to be, I
think.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Okay, let's start
with the basics, For now it's
January.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
The basic is I don't
think it's going to be as hard
to find when it goes for theprior consoles that came out
with the Xbox and the PS5.
I think more people will beaccessible to it, so that's a
good thing.
I really think that's going tobe it.
I think it's a growingcommunity again.
What I mean by that is thatyou're going to have new wave of
(25:02):
people joining it Like theolder wave and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
You think it's a new
wave?
Yeah, because, remember, nintendo brings in all ages, but
I don't think there's a newwave of people coming in.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Well, I think you are
, because Nintendo's the only
system I see that can 80 yearolds 70 year olds?
Speaker 1 (25:17):
yeah, why would?
Why would you bring them in?
Speaker 2 (25:21):
because they they've
already immersed in the prior
ones, so I think you're gonnacontinue.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
I knew what you said.
You said new wave.
You said new wave.
I didn't say that.
I should say all ages but mything is like I know we
mentioned the mode we didn't tryon the Joy-Con was the mouse
mode oh yeah, but we don'treally have a game.
We probably could adapt one ofthe games to it.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
But no, my impression
of the mouse is wasted.
The idea in time.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I don't know.
I can't say that Unless you'regetting games like Warcraft.
There's a game.
I don't know the name of it.
We did a review on that acouple of months ago A couple of
shows ago.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
We talked about it a
couple of weeks ago the
wheelchair game.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
No, not the
wheelchair.
There was that too, but it wasanother game.
It looked like I forgot thename of the game.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
It was a new Metro
game.
They was using it.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yeah, but you gotta
remember a lot of, remember a
lot.
Think about game, because a lotof people who play PC find the
mouse feature very accessiblefor certain games.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
It's good for games
if you get Boulder's Gate to
come to it.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Okay, that's fine,
and that's probably why.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Warcraft games like
that.
It's amazing, I think, thefeature that's being used or
utilized by a large number ofpeople.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
To be honest,
Remember you and I might not use
it, but there's a lot of.
It's a big niche for otherpeople though, remember, even
for the shooters.
They love that mouse featurefor shooter games too.
Remember me and you don't useit, but remember it's a big
niche for some people.
Man, a lot of people got hypedover that.
I was like okay, cool, I cansee where it worked out.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Mr Mason, no, there's
a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
It's a big niche for
other people, man.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Mr Mason, no, I
disagree with you.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
I think it's a big
niche for a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Mr Mason no, we'll
find out.
No and no, we'll find out, andno and no, but continue next
month.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
It's all about the
games.
Be honest with you.
What games are coming out?
Speaker 1 (27:18):
What do I always say?
It's all about the games.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Kid, it's about the
games.
We just got to figure out whatgames are coming out.
I mean we've mentioned them inthe past.
I mean we did just confirm theDonkey Kong you have.
What other games do you have?
You have the upgrades from theZelda.
They didn't pay the Zeldas.
You could play it on here nowwith updated graphics.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
You got to pay extra
money for the upgrades.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
I thought it was free
if you had it.
Am I confused?
Speaker 1 (27:46):
I have to check again
, but I think you have to pay
for it.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
You might be right.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Axel, you might be
right.
I just no, I just my thing isabout the game.
I think the Donkey Kong game, donkey Kong game, the Metro
Prime, the Metro game, theMetroid game sorry, that's
coming out.
I believe this.
I think it's a rumor thatSplatoon 3 is coming out.
Oh yeah, so in the near future, within the next six months.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
So that's another hit
game for them.
The Makers Form Software iscoming out again.
It's coming out, I believe, inJanuary, so we'll say a
Bloodborne Soul Light game withmultiplayer, supposed to be on
there.
So I believe it's multiplayer.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
(28:32):
So that was, I believe, earlyJanuary of next year.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Okay, okay, okay.
So do you think we're going tosee more triple A, triple A
games on there now from thirdparties?
They got they got.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
They got, manipus
come out.
Oh that's going to be good 2K.
Oh, so here we go.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Yeah, those are going
to be good, you don't even say
anything.
I think.
I actually think it is becauseyou, you and I was just
complimenting the pro controller, so why would it not be?
Speaker 1 (28:56):
good with the Pro
Controller.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
It's a pro controller
, yeah, but you have Asha to be
a pro controller too.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Do you think the
experience will be optimized as
a PS5 or Xbox?
Speaker 2 (29:07):
It depends.
If you don't care about visual,if you're not a big visual
person, you don't care aboutexperience.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
It's Madden 2K.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
You don't care about
visuals yeah, but it's not a
4Drop Remember.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah, but it's not a
4Drop Remember when it's docked,
it's 4K, it's 4K, but alsoRemember, you're talking to a
guy who's playing his games in1080 right now.
So I think it'll be fine, don't?
We're not going to go to thatstory where I was basically
playing games in 1080 TV and hestill hasn't even played the TV.
Hey, cheap motherfucker.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Switch was fine, man
Plus, remember you also have the
GameCube Classics that droppedthat same day.
I believe, too, that's alsogoing to expand the gameplay on
the Switch, so stuff like thatis going to help out.
A lot of games dropped outopening night too, and I say a
lot of games like Split Fictionalso dropped, cyberpunk also
dropped that same night, finalFantasy VII there's a lot of
(29:56):
games that dropped, so it's notlike Hogwarts Legacy dropped
that same day.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
also, my thing is
that you talk about new people
coming in there.
Most of the people probablyhave an Xbox or let me start
giggling myself Xbox,playstation 5.
And why would you go buy aNintendo Switch?
Basically, you're going to buyit.
Let's keep it real.
You'll buy it for exclusiveNintendo games.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Most people.
You're going to buy it.
Let's keep it real.
You'll buy it for exclusive.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Nintendo games.
Most people will.
I agree with you on that.
Most people will.
You're going to buy it forexclusive Nintendo games.
Are you going to buy it mostlyfor third?
Are you going to buy it forthird-party games?
Yeah, if you got PlayStation 5or the very few who X or X,
you're not going to buy it forthe third-party games.
You'll be third-party games onyour Xbox or PlayStation 5.
(30:45):
You go there to play theNintendo exclusive Switch 2
games.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
We'll see, because,
remember, you're right, because
what is the next biggest?
What are the two biggestexclusive games coming out this
year for the Switch?
Donkey Kong.
I'll start with Mario.
Forget Mario, it's alreadydropped.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Donkey Kong and
Metroid Prime.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Right, yeah, metroid
Prime 4.
Beyond.
So those are going to be thetwo biggest games.
And if you were to add Kirby, because I know people like Kirby
too, if you were to add Kirbyin there.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
I do not like Kirby,
put it on the record.
I do not like Kirby Go ahead.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
So those are going to
be the two biggest Nintendo
exclusive games coming out thisyear.
So Nintendo has a good windowactually.
So we'll see how that goes.
And then after that you throwin games, like you just said,
madden the WWE, nba 2K.
Let's see how that works out, man, because I just want to see
how they integrate the featuresinto those systems.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
I want to see if
they're going to put a
Warcraftable on there.
Come on of Warcraft to go onthere you put an Elden Ring on
that.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
I forgot you put an
Elden Ring on that, so you
already know it's going to bebusiness.
I think it's going to be fineto be honest with you.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
All right, Mr Mason.
I mean, like I said, I'm notdown on the outlook.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Project 007.
I forgot about they put that ontoo, so I'm looking forward on
that too.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
So we'll see it's off
to a good start.
How many sales do you think itdid I?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
should do the numbers
for that.
Actually, what's the numbers?
In the first four days it did3.5 million, which is very good.
Nintendo's number isbest-selling system of all time
already for release, for release, for release.
So that's great numbers andthat's on par with, I'm guessing
, the PlayStation.
Right, the PlayStation wasabout the same, give on par with
the.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I'm guessing the
PlayStation right, the
PlayStation was about the same.
Give or take the same thing.
It's about the same.
I'm trying to remember the samething.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Or PlayStation 5 was
a little bit more, it might be I
don't think it's that much,because I don't think they had
consoles like that.
To be honest with you.
It might be more.
You know, we'll look that up asthe show progresses.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Yeah, so, mr Amazing,
anything else you want to say
about that?
Speaker 2 (32:38):
No, no, no.
But you know I'm excited it'sout.
No more wait, we know about it.
So let's see man Now, just tosee when the games come out and
other people start getting so wecan play with them.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Which we're feeling
for it's still going to be hard.
It's still going to be hard toget, because no one surprised
the amazon.
It was.
Did the amazon resell it?
I don't know if I saw thatamazon and those rumors were
selling on staples though.
Yeah, you said.
You said the staples had acouple of them.
Yeah, it probably had like 20or 30 oh, okay, okay when the
(33:10):
playstation 5 came out, they hadplaystation 5 as an xbox series
s, but in the eastern area ofnew york, uh, or the Tri-State
area, yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Okay, I actually got
the number.
So this is crazy.
Let's read this out thePlayStation 5 sold worldwide on
its launch days.
In its first four weeks itshipped 3.4 units.
Oh wow, 3.4 million.
Nintendo did that in its firstfour days, damn.
So we already know thatNintendo surpassed that and
(33:40):
Nintendo's on a.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
The Godfather gaming
strikes back.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
But we also have to
give it.
We also have to be mindful thatthe places came out during the
pandemic, so we also have to bemindful about that Still give it
up for the Godfather gaming.
Yeah, so that goes to show you.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Yo, godfather, deal
with tariffs.
Tariffs are coming, tariffs arecoming.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
So that goes to show
you that, yeah, Nintendo blew
everything out the window.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
All right, mr Mason,
let's go to our trailer of the
week.
All right, our trailer of theweek is Pick Up.
Starring A Murphy.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Pick Up.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
I don't know what
that is.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
But now you're going
to know.
Now, mr Mason, let's start thetrailer.
All right, let's go Three.
You're going to have dinner 8pm sharp.
Don't be late.
We'll be right back on my hotelhome floor.
Holy shit, someone tell me youcan make me happy.
I can't.

If I miss dinner with my wifetonight, I will be shot.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Don't do anything
stupid.
Whatever gets you home to yourwife in time for your special
day.
Happy anniversary.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
My boy get out there.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
You were supposed to
retire.
I'm moving on to a new career.
You're pivoting this late.
Well, how old do you think I am?
Well, you're black, so you look40, but you could be up to 90.
Hey yo, you seeing this, pullover and you won't get hurt.
We're gonna die.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Calm down, remember
your training I took a 15-hour
online course.
What training Boom.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
I'll be Reggie Miller
who, oh, that's not good.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Since you're gonna
kill us, why don't you just show
us who you are?
Tell us your shoulders down.
You better give me that money.
I'm gonna go up and you swallowthat shit if you throw up your

What is this and who is they?
Change of plans.
You two are gonna help me steal$60 million from the casino,
(36:18):
because if you don't't yourwife's dead if you let us go.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
You bang my twin
sister sounds like me with long
hair.
You trying to get us shotrussell, you don't answer your
phone.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Did you forget you're
?
Speaker 1 (36:30):
a latina, I put a in
your neck.
Hi, natalie, you fell in latina.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
I put a trucking chip
in your neck.
Hi, natalie, you fell in lovethis weekend.
Of course, we did butt stuffthat was awesome, dude.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
I put my leg and my
foot and my ankle and my
meniscus.
I know I tore my whole back outtoo.
What, just from that?
Speaker 2 (37:06):
Are those the same?
Underwear from Friday Shouldhave been a red flag.
Shut the red flag.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Mr Amazing, the
pick-up coming August 6th,
starring Eddie Murphy.
Who else, Mr Amazing?
Speaker 2 (37:20):
What's the
star-studded Pete Davidson,
Marshawn Lynch, Keke Palmer, EvaLongoria and more.
To be honest with you, Yo, Imean it's star-studded.
I laughed a couple of timesdoing the trailer, so it's
pretty funny and you know, thestory doesn't look bad.
It's pretty action-filled aswell.
From what we saw, the onlything is go for that trope.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
You're the older guy,
you're retiring, you're a
rookie.
I'm like oh no.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
It's like the young
guy with the older guy.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
It was just fine.
We see it before.
I'm about to tell you somethinghappens.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Yeah, it was just
true.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
You know it's that
storyline, but you know, hey,
it's how you present it so, mrMaisy, the question is do you
green light this trailer, redlight it, or y'all light the
trailer?
Speaker 2 (38:05):
I'm gonna green it.
I laughed a couple of times.
You guys got me the trailer, sothat's always a good thing.
I greenlighted.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
I greenlighted, let's
hope I think we greenlighted
the last A Murphy movie trailer.
Which one was that?
Do you remember?
Was it you People, you People?
I didn't see that and also thatdidn't get good reviews.
I think we also greenlightedBeverly Hills Cop.
I saw Beverly Hills.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
I don't think it was
that bad.
It was okay.
I didn't think it was bad.
I saw Beverly Hills Cop.
I don't think it was bad, itwas okay but it wasn't like the
ones we saw in the 80s, 90s.
Whatever it was, it wasn't likethat, but it wasn't bad.
They're older, they're older?
Speaker 1 (38:39):
No, they're older
than me.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
No, no, no, no it
wasn't bad.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
No, no, it wasn't
good either.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
It was mid.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
So, mr Amazing, I do
really like this trailer as well
.
But, mr Amazing, let's go toour shoot recap topic of the
week.
Mr Amazing.
So our shoot recap topic of theweek is Mr Amazing, hold on a
second.
Guess what's delayed, uh-oh.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Guess what's delayed.
I'm waiting for you to guesswhat's delayed.
Yes, oh, a movie or a game, atender related, so it's a game.
I'm guessing Nintendo, is itsomething?
Speaker 1 (39:13):
that I'm not going to
tell you what it is, I'm not
going to say the game, what else?
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Is it something
that's been anticipated for a
long time?
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Anticipated curiosity
.
Is it the new Mario movie?
No, mr Mason, it's a Zeldamovie, live action Zelda movie.
It has been delayed.
I'd be looking forward to that.
Supposed to be coming out March2027.
Sorry, 2027.
It's been delayed to May 2027.
(39:41):
It's a few weeks.
That's not bad.
Actually I don't know, it'sjust a little more time to cook
baby.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Maybe they're working
on a new Zelda to coincide with
it.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
maybe, who knows-
Should we care a lot, a little
and not all, mr.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Amazing.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I'm not going to care a lotbecause I'm still against this
movie.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
I bet you the
Princess Peace movie will be
there.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
And you know I'm a
big Zelda fan, but I'm against
it because I don't know how youmake a movie where the guy don't
talk.
He's going to talk now.
That's what I'm saying.
It's going to be awkward.
It's going to be too awkwardfor us.
It doesn't bother me if hedon't talk.
Come on, keep it real, michael.
The guy doesn't say a goddamnword.
Vocal word echoes out of hismouth in the game and you're
going to see him on the bigscreen talking.
Does Mario really talk?
Yeah, but he talks, though.
(40:30):
Oh, come on.
He had cartoon shows he talkedin.
He had so many that he talkedin.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Okay, I see the point
.
Yeah, but you never said that.
But Zelda had a cartoon showtoo and he talked.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
He did, but that
cartoon wasn't as big as the
Mario franchise cartoon showsand so many other stuff he did
with that.
Is that the same thing?
So I think it's going to bepixel.
I said live action, Mr.
Mays Live action oh God, I'mkind of skeptical about it If
(40:59):
it's pixel, I would say, allright, I can probably get
another.
Now I'm even more.
I don't know if I care aboutthis, to be honest with you.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I don't know, man, I
guess, when I see, my trailer.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
I'll have a better
point of view, but it ain't
sounding too good for me, man.
What about you?
Speaker 1 (41:17):
I mean, I'm not the
biggest I like Zelda.
When I heard it was live-actionsame thing, I was speculating
as you, so I'm like I don't know, I'd like to see a live-action
Metroid game.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
Yeah that's fine.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
That'll work.
I think that's fine, that wouldwork.
I think that would work, thatwould work.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
Zelda.
I'm like, I know, because Zeldais so fantasy-based too, so
it's like it's so, oh damn, it'slike, so fantasy-based.
I don't know how they're goingto bring that I mean.
Yeah, it's like I don't know,we'll see, I will see.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Minecraft was live
action and I think Minecraft had
I think it sold a billion.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
God damn.
I'm not surprised, though, theguy popping the damn game is.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
So I'm not surprised.
I mean we both said I don'tcare at all.
I'll be honest, I mean, unlessyou see a movie trailer for it.
I got to see a trailer to behonest with you, to make me move
me to go see it at this point.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
I don't really care.
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
No, you don't have me
right now I got to see a
trailer.
I'm like, oh yeah, okay, we'llget to it, because I don't see
I'm with Mike on this one if yousay, oh, the second Mario Mario
movie, mario Brothers movie iscoming out, I'm like, ah damn, I
seen the movie.
(42:42):
I enjoyed it it's pulling whatit can do.
You know what I'm saying.
So, everybody, you know how wefeel.
We don't care at this time.
Alright, mr Mason, let's go to.
You think I care, mr Mason.
Let's go to our Gangsta Awakesof the Week, mr Mason and you
know who our Awakes of the Weekis our.
Awakes of the Week is it's ourneighboring state in New Jersey,
(43:03):
the GameStop store which one?
Speaker 2 (43:07):
the one?
Uh, it's located in New Jersey, right oh the one, the store I
was telling you about.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Oh no, staten Island,
sorry, sorry, not New Jersey
people, staten Island One of thefive boroughs, the five
boroughs and people in the NewYork City, Staten Island is like
the lowest rated borough.
Speaker 2 (43:22):
No one cares about
Staten.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Island Yo, so but
anyway, mr Mays do so.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Several customers
that went to go shop at GameStop
were there.
That was a lot of customersthen.
Yeah, it was a lot actually.
So circles that went online, got their Switch 2 Reserve, went
to pick up their system, onlyto find out their system in the
box, sealed, were damaged.
(43:52):
And you might ask what happened?
Did it fall off the truck?
Was it roughly handled?
No, it was damaged byassociates of the GameStop.
So what happened was that theseGameStop employees were
stapling the receipts to the boxof the Switch and when they
(44:13):
were stapling it, they werestapling it ontoipts to the box
of the Switch and when they werestapling it, they were stapling
it onto the screen that waspuncturing the screen.
And then when I read the story, remember you, and I looked at
it it was like how did thathappen?
When we opened it, we saw howclose in proximity the screen
was to the box and you knowthere's no protection.
There was no protection.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
No protection,
there's no protection.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
There was no
protection, no protection.
So yeah, with a I guess with anelectric stapler easily could
go through that.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Any stapler went
through that, it would damage it
Easily.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
So I don't know.
I don't have a number of howmany units were damaged, but
let's say they had 150 sold.
God damn, that's a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
That's a lot of
pissed off people.
Excuse our language.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
Yeah, no, I was
pissed off too.
You waited forever, had itreserved.
Oh, I just hope this employeeswho did this didn't get fired
because it's not their fault.
Fired, Probably so because youdied.
That's a $500 damage.
Fired, Sorry people.
Yeah, so that one man.
I'm sorry man.
It's an automatic dismissal.
(45:16):
Yeah, yeah, unfortunately.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
And also where these
boys are.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
The Wankster of the
Week.
I'm sorry, guys.
You guys deserve that one, I'msorry.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
I'm like why are they
taping it on there?
I don't know, I don't know ifthey had the staple like that
too.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
I don't know had the
staple like that too.
Oh my God, just give you thereceipt, or staple it on the bag
when you get the system.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
Yeah, give you the
free bag and charge 10 cents for
the bag.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
Staple it right on
the bag and then keep it moving
On the box.
It's just crazy.
But you can also play Nintendotoo, because Nintendo's going to
put you to like, don't you know, certain items.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
I was surprised.
It was like really notprotected.
That screen was not protected.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
It wasn't.
By the packaging, I was like oh, you know I'm curious now
because, knowing that a staplercould do that, I got to go
online and look at one of thosedrop tests that people be doing.
I hate that.
I see that when people buyphones or systems and they take
it and they throw it off agoddamn roof, they drop it a
couple of times to see if itpassed the drop test.
I'm curious to see if they did.
(46:15):
I'm sure they have it onlinesomewhere.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
I'm just curious to
see how flimsy it's like a
survive dropper.
People do it on Tyler.
That's like a thing.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
That's a thing people
do, like they buy, especially
with phones.
It's very popular with phones.
People buy phones, strong as aphone is.
They do it with systems too.
So I'm curious.
I want to go watch a Switchvideo.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
I'm not dropping my
PS5.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Exactly, off the
thing, just to see how flimsy or
strong it is.
People do it all the time.
It's a thing now and peoplelove it.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
I'm good.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
I'm with you, I'm
with you.
Speaker 1 (46:43):
You do it for views.
Yeah, I'm All right, mr Amazing, our shout-out of the week goes

(47:05):
because he couldn't get one.

crazy in the store.

ask.
What you got to say.
Speaker 2 (47:38):

to ask you right now.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
What.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Before we end the
show.
We don't have to get detailed, because the show has run on long
enough.

Nintendo Switch 2 is going tolast.
Is it going to be as long Eightyears?
So do you give it eight yearsas well?
Speaker 1 (47:53):
Like the Switch,
probably seven, six, seven years
Seven years, so you give it ayear less than the Switch.
Yeah, seven, six years.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Okay, and the final
question is is the Switch going
to surpass the PlayStation 2sales?
The Switch now.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
Switch 1.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
Switch 1.
Because that's the one that'sclose.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
