Speaker 1 (00:06):
Let's do this.
Welcome everybody to anotherepisode of the Game of Traffic
Show.
I'm your host, mike Sampson.
Show them my co-host.
Simply amazing what I'm doingtoday.
Everybody give it up for MrAmazing.
On today's Game of Traffic Show, we're going to talk about Mr
Amazing, the godfather of gaming.
Nintendo has recently announcedNintendo Switch is real son.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
It's here.
It's here.
We got a sneak peek and we knowwe're going to get more coming
on April 2nd.
But Nintendo Switch has finallyfinally showed their hands Like
a poker hand that you've beenwaiting forever to see.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, okay, mr Amazing, let's see the hand has
actually gotten bigger.
A bigger screen else has abigger kickstand.
It does yo bigger everything sofar, but that's bigger mean
better we don't know that.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
That's the key thing.
But the most important thing isthat we no longer have a
sliding mechanic to hook up thejoysticks to the console.
It looks like it's gonna bemagnetic so I think that's one
of the bigger features on that.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
But people scared my break for some.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, you know I do magnetic.
You never know.
It could be more flimsy, itcould be so many things, but we
won't know until we touch it.
But Intel is pretty good atdoing hardware, so I think we'll
be all right with that route.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, same thing Xbox thought with the 360, right.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
That's true too I mean, I'm anticipating a pretty
good thing, but I have a lot ofquestions, because we don't know
if it's HD, we don't know ifit's OLED.
That's the thing we don't know, but the price point that
they're flirting around makes mebelieve it is an OLED system.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
to be honest with you , no, the last one was OLED, so
it's going to be OLED.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
We don't know that, though, because remember.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's going to be OLED .

Speaker 2 (01:47):
The price point that they're flirting with.
Do you want to get the pricedown or do you want to wait for
the no wait?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
for the price.
The only thing, the key thingis the Nintendo Switch, the
original Switch is the games upthe Nintendo Switch 2, which is
a key factor.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
People's worried about that.
It has to be, come on, the kindof library that Nintendo has to
have the back of compatible andthe Joy-Cons are practically
the same.
They pretty much are.
That's why I feel like it isgoing to be OLED, because that
price point is very high.
And I'm saying price pointbecause it's not confirmed, but
it's a very steady talk withinthe community and the people,
industry, guys and girls thatare saying that.
I'm going to say it out there.

(02:26):
They have it as a price pointas $449.
That's pretty steep forNintendo.
I must say I didn't think itwould be that high.
We're making our predictions.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, we'll dive more into it.
But also the thing I saw in thevideo is the Joy-Cons with the
mouse light.
They run around the mouse light.
They like run around the mouselight, feature like a computer
mouse and there's like a littleconnection that you make it like
a mouse, a feature nobody'sgoing to use.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
That's interesting A feature.
Like I said, nobody's going touse.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Come on man.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I saw what you're talking about, but I thought
that was just more animation toreveal the system.
I didn't think it was to beused as a mouse, like on a
computer.
It's something it might bebecause Nintendo does get
creative, so it might be afeature that is used.
But you know, we'll find out.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
We'll find out.
Remember the Nintendo box thing, the Nintendo Switch box thing?
It wasn't for us but, didn't itdo?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
well, it was the amazing one to get that.
Yes, you did, you and your kids?
Yes, you did.
It was the amazing one.
But what I wanted to get wasthe Mario Kart with the racing,
the real racing one.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I thought about that.
That's the one I wanted to get,not the box.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I had no interest in the box one.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
You're like Mr Maze is lying, I had no interest in
the box.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
The Mario Kart one I did have.
That was just like, yeah, theyfine Slime.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
He wouldn't get it for his kids Because I know they
wouldn't even enjoy that.
I know my son.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I know my nephews they wouldn't enjoy that.
You mentioned your daughter, soyeah, At that time when that
came out that she said hewouldn't get it for her.
No, no, no.
At the time when it came out,she was too young.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
She was too smart to go play that nonsense.
Cashing out Nintendo.
Gotta give credit forcreativity.
It is creativity, no disrespect.
No disrespect, it was theGodfather game.
That was kind of like eh, butlike I said, creativity, gotta
give credit for that.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Trying to make artistic ways.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yes, mr Mazin, but, Mr Mazin, let's go ways.
Yes, mr Mazes, but, mr Mazes,as you said, price point,
because the original tennisswitch launched in 2017 at a
price point of $300.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, and this is about $150 more.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yes, and according to Combootcom, it's saying that
it's a possibility that thetennis switch will come in two
buttons.
It will come in as a console byitself.
If you go by Japanese dollars, the yen, $499.

(04:52):
$500 total.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Damn.
I think I said two price points.
I said one is $300.
One is like $400.
The other one is $450.
But I was thinking you're goingto the $500.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
But the $499 will include Mario Kart.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Oh well, you might as well get that, because you
gotta get a game makes no sense.
That's the one I would get too,to be honest with you, and we
did see what everyone wasspeculating to be Mario Kart 9,
so that's another good news forus to know.
That's positive.
Mario 9 will probably be alaunch game with the console,

(05:23):
but that's for the price man.
I think it's high.
That's positive.
Mario 9 will probably be alaunch game with the console,
but that's for the price man, Ithink it's high.
And the only way you're goingto sold me on that price point,
it has to be OLED.
It can't be nothing beyond theOLED.
If you're going to go to thatprice point and not only does it
have to be OLED the graphic hasto be way more than we're

(05:44):
accustomed to.
When Nintendo drops a newsystem, it definitely has to be
on that level as well.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, the only thing.
I'm going to the articlecombocom.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is goingto be available in two options.
One of these options will bejust the console, while the
other option, bundle, willfeature the new Mario Kart.
So according to Convocom, it'seither 499 yen or 499 yen.

(06:16):
So basically, if you translate,to American dollars.
But I'm just clarifying foreverybody.
So what does it mean inAmerican dollars?
If you convert it to America,$4.99 will mean $517.06.
So meanwhile, converting $4.99will be $465.

(06:40):
Yeah, but my thing is andtypically classes don't go for
that type of price.
It's either $350 or $500sometimes.
You see, sometimes when you doprice cuts, you do see for
Chris's $480, if it wasoriginally $500, they'll do it
for $480, or if it wasoriginally $400, they'll do it
for $370.

(07:01):
You know what I'm saying.
So those price cuts, thoseprices do happen.
But like I said, like I toldyou before, I always thought it
would be $500.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
You did say that I definitely didn't go that route.
I never would have went thatroute, to be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
If people were paying how much for the Steam Deck
$500?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yes, but remember though, no, it doesn't have that
many owners.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Nintendo Switch.
It's not even the same ballpark.
It's not even the same ballpark.
I want to say If I saidNintendo crushed it, it'd be
flattering yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
No, no, you're right.
But by crushing we're sayingthe number sells, not because
Nintendo is such a better systemthan it, it's because Nintendo
is better priced than it.
So I do want to get that point.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
No, no, no, no, no, no.
It's Nintendo.
No, it's Nintendo, it'sNintendo.
Nintendo is a bigger brand, bigger name.
No, of course, mario is abigger brand, it's a longer too.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Don't forget that, Nintendo, let's just forget.
Let's take out the break.
Nintendo is bigger than that, obviously, but the price does
make a big difference.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
But if they came at the same time, it seems like
we're still more expensive thanthe Switch.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Exactly that's what I'm saying Because of the price.
That's why I feel like Nintendogot to watch out with their,
but I do think it's going to beup to that price point.
I just wonder are we gettingjust a regular joystick?
Does it, can we?
You think they'll throw in a?
I call it again.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
No.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
The regular controller, the, you know, like
the regular new patch.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Throw it in.
For what do you mean throw itin?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
With that price that they're giving us, would they
throw one in there?
Throw one in there.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I have an orange right here.
I'm going to throw it at yourhead.
No, no Later on they're goingto probably induce other
alternatives in the Joy-Con.
Like I said, joy-cons arehurting my hands.
I play Switch, mario Kart hurtmy hands.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I wanted the buds a little bit bigger on there too,
to make it easier for peoplewith fat fingers.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
I think the Joy pops out a little bit more From what
I saw.
Yeah, so it's still too smallfor me.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, well, it is.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I'll still have to buy a third-party or Nintendo
first-party controller.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
That's not a joy card I always do for all my Nintendo
systems but we didn't even saythere is an extra button.
That did add to it too, though.
I don't know exactly what thatbutton is for that's why I guess
the April 2nd reveal will tellus what that button is for.
They did add an extra button toit, so that's pretty
interesting, yeah, so, but eveninteresting more.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
As reported by Nintendo Life, journalist Felipe
Limo has spotted a list for aTake-Two Interactive Nintendo
Switch 2 game that has adimension listed and, mr Amazing
, you go by the picture the boxis bigger than the original
Switch box for the games.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Oh, I wonder.
Why, though, are the gamesbigger?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I was going to say like why?
So we're taking more space onyour shelf, mr Amazing.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Eh, you know, I'm a hard copy person.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
So if we go into details of the box, it's
believed the boxes are 5.1inches, which is the original
Switch box, and the new Switch 2boxes for the games will be 7.7
inches, mr Amazing, okay, doesit really make a difference?
Not really.
I mean, is it game instructions?

(10:25):
Are they actually going to putgame instructions inside there?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
This time.
We haven't seen that in a longtime.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
So you know what I'm saying.
I don't know if they're goingto put maps in there.
I don't know what they're goingto put in there Personal prizes
, tickets but, mr Basie, ifeverybody's interested, in's
already passed.
You can register for NintendoSwitch experience and get your
first hands on Nintendo Switch, but it's already passed.
That happened on January 17th.

(10:53):
You was able to go to a raffle, but you need to have a Nintendo
account to get that opportunityto get involved in that and
currently this event.
I'm talking about the Americandates.
New York City this event beheld from April 4th to the 6th.
La 11th April 11th to the 13th.

(11:14):
Dallas, april 25th to the 27th.
Toronto, canada April 25th tothe 27th.
Please don't Trump the way.
The tariffs on them come on man, and they'll also be doing
other regions of the world aswell.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Well, that's good, that's good news.
You know it's good to know.
But can we jump into somethingelse that I want to talk about?
Nintendo.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
But I also want to tell you people are trying to
get there and sell those tickets.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Oh yeah, why?
Because you want to make money,mr.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
That's a dope experience, I think you should
go to that.
Because you want to make money.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
I mean I get it.
I'm not going to be mad atpeople that want to get a couple
of dollars.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Yeah, but I could be go ahead, mr Amazing.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Now what I wanted to jump into, if you don't mind me
going into it now Go Games.
We know Mario Kart 9 was one ofthem, but have you heard about
some possible League games?

Speaker 1 (12:07):
The new Zelda game?
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Zelda is coming out anytime soon.
That I don't see yet.
I think Zelda is a couple ofyears away.
To be honest with you, you justhad the last Zelda that came
out.
What A year ago was it?
Was it a year ago, two yearsago?

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Mario Prime.
Well, we Not Prime.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
I mean Metro Prime, Metro Prime 4, I believe 4.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Metro Prime, 4.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, the one that's biggest, with a lot of it's a
lot of heat behind it, andthat's why I believe it a lot
too, because Snake Eater Becausethat game was supposed to come
out for so long and it hasn'tand I think that's the one that
a lot of people are saying islike heavy going to come out.

(12:48):
But the biggest one that'srumored now and it's almost a
reality, for a lot of people aresaying is it's an Xbox game and
it's going to be the ForzaHorizon 5.
Everyone is saying that's goingto be dropping on the Switch
too.
That was catching a lot of heat, a lot of people saying that's
one to look out for and I thinkthat would be a great game on
the Switch.
Actually, it would have been aSwitch 1 or 2.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Yeah, but that would be a good game.
It's going to every platform.
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
No, I know, but remember.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Nintendo doesn't always get you know.
Xbox and most likely NintendoSwitch 2 as well.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that idea too, actually,
but that's some of the few, along with, like 3D Super Mario
the Zelda remake.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
they're saying.
They're saying Zelda game willbe on there, yeah obviously
Pokemon, you know.
You can't yell.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Xenoblade Chronicles.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
You can't remember Nintendo Switch launch route.
You know Pokemon.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Come on.
Yeah, I know, I know, so that'sgoing to be big man.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
So you know, outside of that now, mike, I'm going to
ask you no, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Release date what's your?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
prediction.
Remember, I predicted with ourearlier podcast.
I thought it was going to comeout like May April.
I thought it was going tofollow the same format.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
I think we both agreed on that.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Actually, I think I had the same ballpark too, I
thought we were going to do thesame format, but since we're
going to do the little April 2nd, yeah, nintendo Switch 2
experience Most likely.
I will say, you know, holidayseason.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
No, no, geez, you're bugging on that one.
I think that's way too far.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Why.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Because Nintendo always says it's going to come
out way too far.
Why?
Because the teller always saysit's going to come out way
before that.
They've been pretty steady onthat, actually.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Unless I'm confused, they were talking about
revealing it.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
I'm not going on holiday season, I'm going way
beyond that.
Wait, what do you mean?
I'm way before that.
I think it gets revealed April2nd.
It's in stores by June.
I'm going June.
I think it's a storm in June,man, the latest.
I wouldn't be surprised if theyhit you with one of those in
stores May, but I'm going to be.

(14:51):
I'm going to give them time todo the production.
How is the season?
Nah, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
How is the season?
Because, let's say, snake Eatercomes out in September.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
You don't wait for Snakey.
Snakey's not gonna do a divefor you, but you said, you said
they wouldn't align it with itwith the Switch 2.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
So yeah, I think so, but there's no release date for
Snake 2, getting developers timeto work the Switch, but they've
been having the Switch.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
We don't have it, but they've been having it.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
You know that but you always, they always need time,
mr Amazing.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yeah, but this is why there's no Plus the Taylor.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Swift 2 is not going to be powerful as the current
Xbox.
No, we know that already ofcourse yeah so they're going to
need some time?
Oh, they don't.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Preparation the way the Switch is set up right now.
They held back on a lot ofgames you and I both know that
because they want to put thosenew games onto their new system.
The Switch is literally on alifeline right now.
There's no way on earth thissystem is going to wait another
what are we?
Eight months for the highseason to start kicking in.

(15:55):
Nintendo's not going to do thatmuch because they're not going
to make money.
They're not going to make money.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Are you even correct by they're?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
not going to wait that long.
The high season?
I just don't see it.
Holiday season this is notgoing to sit there with a system
that's been rumored to becoming out since last year, then
to this year and then now, nahman, it's definitely coming out
in June.
I don't see beyond that.
Remember you dropped thesystems during the holiday
season.
If you remember, the Switch wasdropped in.
Dropped in what?
March?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah, they don't usually drop holiday season.
If you think about it, didn'tthe Wii drop holiday season,
didn't other, didn't other?

Speaker 2 (16:28):
I don't know if the Wii dropped in the holiday
season.
We can look at it, but Nintendoof Tennessee not to look at it.
Which one you want me to lookat?

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Definitely the Switch that came out in March because
I got the Switch in.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
March Do the Wii released date.
Wii, you're correct, november19th.
We consider that a holidayseason.
I agree with you on that one.
Okay, then, when the next onewould be?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
so you're going to do the Wii U.
Let's see Wii.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
U.
Oh my bad.
So Wii U release date that wasNovember 19th, november 18th
2012, those were, but those weretwo older ones.
Then we went to.
Okay, let's go to GameCube.
That was November 19th.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
November 18th 2012.
Mike.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Sampson's right, but those were two older ones.
Then we went to Switch.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Okay, let's go to GameCube Switch, but we know
when to switch to Loin.
We're going to GameCube.
Go to GameCube.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
That was from March.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I got that in.
March yeah but I was sayingGameCube, go to GameCube.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Let's go somewhere that's a little before the
holiday season.
Actually September, september, yeah so so that's before the
holiday season, like around theholiday season fall it was
coming but it was before.
We could, we could say theholiday season November.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah, but like I said , I didn't even give you.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
October, but November technically is the holiday
season September, september.
October.
That was definitely holidayseason.
November 21st so, mr Mason, I'mgoing by the last day.

(17:53):
That's a switch.
It was not holiday, nottraditional, but you were all
right.
I'll give you credit.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
No, mr Mason, yeah, they did that, but now no.
No, yeah, they did that, butnow no.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
No, they're going back to the same formula that
most companies do.
They did that not with a systemthat was on its last legs, like
the way the Switch is.
The Switch is literally on itslast legs, Michael man.
There's no way they could waitthat for a while, especially
when you got two other systemsthat are you know, running, and
halfway.
How many years head start areyou already?

(18:24):
I don't see it, man.
I'm going.
It's okay to disagree, wedisagree, we disagree.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
No, I'm right, so I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
I'm right, I'm sticking with my June.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
You're sticking with holiday season.
I'm sticking with holidayseason.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I'm sticking between June and summer.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
You're going holiday.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I'm saying May and summer.
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
May, summer, with August, I'm going to say May
through August.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
That's my timeline You're going obviously.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I don't see the fall man.
No man, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
We'll find out.
It's set on Game of Traffic.
We'll find out who's right.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Y'all Me alright, mr Amazing.
I mean, my thing is are yougoing to get it?
So, mr Amazing, isn't, isn't?
Isn't the dilemma whether toget a Steam Deck?

Speaker 2 (19:10):
yeah, which is true.
I really want a Steam.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Deck.
I've been selling the showseveral times.
It's part of the process of themovie, so I don't know.
So Game of Traps.
Y'all need to like andsubscribe and get on Game of
Traps so Mr could get that damnSwitch 2.
Come on, people, I had to do a.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
GoFundMe, oh GoFundMe , facilitate your.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Steam Deck y'all.
Oh no man, like and subscribeso we can get this done, but
it's going to be very hard toget that system.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, no, you're right, am I going to get it?

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Of course, I've got it in every freaking Nintendo
there's.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Of course I got such day one.
You forgot I got a day one.
I was at the Best Buy 14thStreet and got a day one.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I forgot, you got a day one, yeah man, I got a day
one.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
I got almost every Nintendo system day one.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I got a day one.
Did I get the Wii U?
No, because the Wii U was sodamn hard to get.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
The Wii was hard to get, but I did get that because
I had yes, I used to be workingat Toys R Us all the time, yeah,
so I got that day one.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Also.
I got the Wii U later on, whichis now.
Wii U is good but we're gettinghacked.
But that's another story.
But, mr Amazing, so also let'stalk about the Nintendo Switch
over.
The Nintendo Switch overallsales okay, jump into it yeah,

(20:24):
nintendo Switch has sold overthrough the lifetime 146 million
consoles, mr Mazin gotcha, gotcha, gotcha, and that number
is still going to continue togrow but Mr Mazin has calculated
that the Nintendo Switch hassold recently.
We'll say it says over 151million.
The calculations, we'll say itsays over $151 million.

(20:45):
The calculations for the $146million is for September 30th of
last year.
So we'll give and take thatthis yeah, they did sell in
January, first week of January,$360,000.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
I'm waiting for the second part of this question.
You already know what it is.
I don't know, do?

Speaker 1 (21:02):
you think the Nintendo Switch will beat the
PlayStation 2?

Speaker 2 (21:06):
And PS2, for those who don't know, where does that
stand at?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
160 million.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
So then, 160 million, that means you're 9 million
consoles away.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
No, I told you it's going to come close.
It ain't going to happen.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
It's going to come close and crush it, but they're
going to surpass that number.
Why are they going to surpassthat number?
New system comes out, oldsystem gets a price drop.
New system's not coming out.
Let's say we go by Michael'scalculation four.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
No price drop.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
You're going to get.
Every system gets a price dropwhen a new one comes out.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
PlayStation 3 did not get a price drop when it came
out.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
PlayStation 3?
Nintendo's at its lightest leg.
Playstation 3 was still makinggames for the PS3 and the PS4 at
the same time.
Because Nintendo's not going tobe doing the same thing they
have.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
No, PS4 and PS3, they was not making that many
crossover games, especiallyafter the first two years.
After the first two years on,they weren't doing that many
crossover.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
They weren't doing it , but I don't think Nintendo
needs two years to surpass that.
I think Nintendo just needs awhole end of 2020.
2026 around this time, I thinkNintendo has the record 2026
around this time, nintendo hasthe record 2026.
This time, exactly right now, ayear from now, nintendo Switch
has surpassed PS2.
A year from now, nintendoSwitch has surpassed PS2.
I think so Because they'regoing to be the ones that

(22:27):
couldn't find the Wii.
Mom and Dad got me the regularWii.
I couldn't get the Switch.
2.
Excuse me, I kept saying WiiGot the Switch.
1.
Price cuts you couldn't get theWii now.
It was brand new.
I'm not talking about for theholiday.
When they can't get it, they'regoing to get those.
It's going to surpass it, man.
It's going to surpass it.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Well, you know what I say.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
You know, what I cannot know and I've asked this
question several times on theshow is does the Nintendo light
count towards the Switch cells?
I never knew that answer.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
I couldn't find that answer.
I think they do count those.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
They should, because the only difference is that one
can't go on a TV screen.
That's it.
Outside of that, it's the sameconsole, same cartridge, goes in
both.
So like, why would it not?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
I always wondered that, but To me it's like would
there be confusion, Confusionwith the Nintendo Switch,
Because they look basically thesame.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Switch and one.
Oh, you're talking about Switchand Switch 2?
Yeah, I agree with you.
I do agree.
I kind of think they shouldhave been a little bit more
aesthetically appeasing, unlessthat trailer was just a little
damn when they threw in the.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
No, that's how this looks.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
No, no, I agree with you, it is, but it did look very
similar outside the magneticstuff.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Let's just hope it plays better.
I mean, that's just not goingto switch one Just like you want
.
You want to see better.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
All right, mr Amazing , I'm going to go into yo.
Mr Amazing, what are the topfive selling games of the switch
to I mean sorry, switchgeneration, that's a good
question.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Two of them, I think, I know off the head.
What's what you A, mario orZelda, or do you want to just be
specific on?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
it.
Which one do you think isnumber one?

Speaker 2 (24:05):
It's probably going to be Mario.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Mario what?

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Which one are the Marios?

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
That's a very good question.
I'm going to say Odyssey.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
No, Mario Kart 8.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Oh yes, that's an easy one, because they dropped
that one so many times.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
I thought you were going to say that that is an
easy one.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I did a Blumper on that one.
The Blumper on that one.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Numbers, that this is Numbers.
That's why we call them theGodfather of the Game.
Numbers that Sony and Xbox, which they have in their
franchises Mario Kart 8, hassold over 60, over 6 point 64
million.
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yeah, no, no, you're right, that one I'm actually.
I came a game.
I despise you, despise thisgame.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yes, I can't stand this game.
Animal.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Crossing New Horizons .
Oh, that's a great game.
Can't stand that game.
Even though I didn't play thisthis time around, I didn't
really play it.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
I bought it, think I'll be into it, and my sister
said I won't be into it, but weall knew you was gonna be into
it that's not your kind of game.
Nah, I mean, if the landlordpull the gun out, something, do
something.
It was not my kind of game.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I just didn't find the interest to play this it's
an amazing game, though that'snot your kind of game, for sure
that's not my kind of game.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
But, mr Mazin, this is another game that you and me
debate about.
On the greatness of this gameas a fighting game, tell me as a
as a fighting game.
Yes, you're talking about.
Super Smash.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Brothers, super Smash Brothers, yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:24):

That's four Wow.

Speaker 1 (25:36):

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Fifth is probably Pikmin or something Splatoon.
Who's fifth?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
I'm surprised they didn't put Pokemon up there.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Probably at the Pikmin or something Splatoon.
Who's fifth?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
I'm surprised they didn't put Pokemon up there,
Probably the top five oh youdon't have the fifth one.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I just gave you the old five, the top five.
I thought that was four.
You said Animal Crossing,magikarp 8.
You said Zelda, is that five?
No, that was a five.
I think you missed one.
Yo, my sister don't missanything, unless I misheard you.
What was your top?
Maybe I got to go do this.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Oh, sorry, it's four.
Sorry, it's four.
Sorry.
I was about to say I knew hewas missing one.
Sorry, my bad.
So what's his fifth one?
I don't have the fifth one infront of me.
Sorry people, my bad, okay.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I'm going to guess the top five.
One Is probably going to beMaybe like a Metroid no, maybe.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Probably a Pokemon game, or Mario Odyssey, probably
a Pokemon game.
Sorry, my miscalculation.
I don't think it is Sorry formy miscalculation.
My sense is losing out Wrong, but I was wrong.
Thank you for correcting me.
But, mr Bazin, let's go to thetop rated Switch games.

Mario Kart obviously.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Rated, rated.
Rated by Metacritic.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Oh rated, I don't think Mario Kart would be one

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Number one is not Mario Kart, mr Amazing, it's not
no.

Speaker 2 (27:13):

Legend of.

Speaker 2 (27:19):

Speaker 1 (27:25):
I'm surprised.
It surprised not a Mario.
That makes sense, though.
Surprise, Mr Mage.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
You got that wrong.
I mean, that makes sense though.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
What's number two?
Hold up, I'll give you numbertwo Super Mario Odyssey, okay,
which is rated at 97.
Which is a Legend of Zelda, breath of the Wild, was also
rated at 97.

Speaker 2 (27:42):

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Number three.
Mr Mage, you want to give acrack at it?

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Number three don't tell me, let me see.
It's not the Peach game, is it?
No, I was messing with you.
I knew it's not.
What is it?

Speaker 1 (27:58):
This game, the House of Fatal.
Oh, I never got that.
Yeah, so that was rated numbersix on Metacritic.
Okay, I mean 96.
Sorry.
Never played that actually Nope, don't even care to play it.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
I thought it'd probably be a Bayonetta or
something.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Yeah, I thought so too at the time.
And number four is the Legendof Zelda.
Mr Amazing Rated 96.
Tears of the Kingdom.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
I mean it is.
It's nothing to be.
I'm not, it is.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
So I'll go to number five Portal, the compilation.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
I was never into Portal.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yeah, I bought the first one.
I didn't buy the second one.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
I was not into it.
I was never into it.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
And I'll put in number six Tetris Effect.
That's a good game, actually94,.
I I'll put it in number 6Tetris Effect.
That's a good game, actually 94.
I would say 94, but I also, since Metroid Prime was also
rated, was number 7, 94 but noby another yo anybody.
Persona fans Persona fansPersona 5 Royal what about Super

(29:09):
Mario Bros Wonders?

Speaker 2 (29:10):
that game got it got nominated for game of the year.
That didn't make it not in thetop 10.
Damn Mario Bros Wonders.
It got nominated for Game ofthe Year.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
That didn't make it Not in the top 10?
.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Damn Nominated.
They didn't even makeCracktario Wow.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Oh, not Metacritic.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
And it's just Nintendo, am I right?
Huh, it's just Nintendo, justNintendo.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Switch, nintendo Switch.
Oh wow, oh, you're on TeleMario's on.
Xbox.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
I thought like just based, you know, based on the
medical check.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Okay, all right, I mean none of us surprised you
all solid game, so I'm notsurprised by it, okay, fair.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
I mean, at the end of the day, it's it's, it's you to
consumer and what you like.
So it is what it is.
It is what it is.
My only regret with the Switchsystem is I'll be honest with
you I didn't take advantage ofplaying.
Enough of it.
I think that's one of mydefaults with this console is
that I didn't play as much as Ishould have this console

(30:27):
generation.
This one Nintendo.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
This one.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
I didn't play as many games and I feel like I missed
out on a lot.
You gotta play your time frameit's amazing you know it is what
it is.
On this one you won't be ableto get.
Nintendo Switch 2 when it comesout, unless we get out a hookup
don't be carry problems outthere, mike, don't be carry, I
can't remember all this.
Yo Can't remember all this.
But if any sponsors want tocome sponsor us with games,

(30:55):
we'll be happy to try them outfor you and let you know our
opinions on it.
On the Gary Traffic.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Show.
Oh yeah, we still try to get aYouTube channel, but, mr Basic,
we still get that set up.
You know what I'm saying, sohopefully soon, but everybody,
absolutely.
Yeah.
But, mr Basic, anything elseyou want to say about Nintendo,
nintendo Switch or NintendoSwitch 2?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
okay, I'm going to ask you a question.
Did you obviously the console?
Did you have a favoritehardware for what that Nintendo
came out with within the sincebetween the 2017 and now with
the Switch lifespan?
Is there anything Nintendorelated within the since between
the 2017 and now with theSwitch lifespan?
Is there anything Nintendorelated between the 2017 and now

(31:40):
that you?
Hardware wise yeah, justhardware wise, yeah nothing
nothing with hardware.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Wise, you talking about the box, no no, no.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
What I mean is like within the time frame of the Wii
Switch I keep saying the timeframe of the Switch release.
Is there any hardware?
It doesn't have to be theSwitch, but just anything
Nintendo between 2017 and nowthat you really enjoyed.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Smash Brothers.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
You're talking about games, games, yeah, for some
games.
Metroid Prime, yes, metroidDreads, metroid Dreads sorry,
metroid Dreads and Metroid Prime.
The remaster yeah but otherthan I mean I enjoyed the
attempts on innovation with theMario Kart virtual thing and
even the box thing, which Ilaughed.
I forgot to call it me too, butyou know the Mario Kart one.

(32:28):
You said that yes, okay so Ithink they always try to do
something different, which Ireally appreciate that.
I might laugh and scoff at someof the things, whether it's
Nintendo Switch or Xbox orPlayStation, but I think, with
Nintendo Switch 2, what's thebiggest competition?

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Handhelds in general.
It's handhelds because remember, after the Steam Deck and all
those scale, OCG, Ally and allthat came out.
Handhelds in general becauseeveryone's making one now.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
You turn around, but the only thing is the price
points these other hands areupwards of $1000 and do you
think, with Microsoft and Sonypossibly entering the handheld
zone once again, are they goingto make a dent in them?

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Not at all.
Not at all Not even an inch.
They didn't do it before, whywould they do it now?
The PSP gave it a good run butthe PSP was around when the
Tenors had other systems around.
Yeah, they gave it a good run.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
They sold like over 80 million units.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
That's cute.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
That's cute.
That's cute, but people don'tknow why they sold that much.
Because you could you know, because you could do other
things.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Other things with it.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Even at that they do other things with it and you
know get a lot of.
You know promote stuff.
Yeah, let's get Unlock and get.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
I can get free games.
It's so funny because mybrother-in-law the other day his
sister had a PSP just layingaround our house and he got it.
He was so hyped she didn't eventouch the thing.
She's like I think I can brandyou yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Yeah, so people, you know, like I said, unlocking it
and playing other games on itFree, so that mainly popular.
The Vita was just.
I had it, one of the besthand-welded hardware, but
unfortunately nothing happened.
But if that was the NintendoSwitch, oh my God, we're talking

(34:22):
about forever.
This is the best hardware evermade.
I mean sorry, it was made byNintendo and plus Nintendo would
have supported it more.
What is the truth?

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Which is true also.
I don't disagree with that, youknow so.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
But, like you said, Xbox, Sony have no chance to get
the Switch.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Nah, they don't.
It's too big of a head start.
Yo, I don't even think Xbox andSwitch is going to beat Steam
Deck.
That deck goes to show you.
I don't think they're going toget to their.
You, I don't think they'regoing to get to their numbers,
unless they come up withsomething out of the box.
I just don't see it.
We can see, I mean, but Sony, even though it's not considered
a handheld, but Sony with theirPortal, it's making waves.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
It's making waves.
It's like I stated in otherpodcasts it's the top 10
accessory video game accessoryyeah it's making waves.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
So I think that inspires Sony to be like hey
guys, look what we did with theportal.
Now, if we were going to fishyour handheld, we might be on to
something.
But, like I said, on tosomething doesn't mean you got
it.
But Sony's my sister.
Sony's been my sister of choicefor the last few years,
probably, like last decade now.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
All right, Mr Amazing , so I'm not mad at that All
right, mr Amazing, let's go toour trail of the week.
Mr Amazing, all right, sinners, let's check it out.
Baby One, two, three, let's go.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
You've been gone a long time.
We back now.
You twins, nah, we cousins.
There are legends of peoplewith the gift of making music.
So true, it can conjure spiritsfrom the past and the future.

(36:18):
This gift can bring fame andfortune.
Will somebody take me in yourarms?
But it also can pierce the veilbetween life and death.

(36:38):
Listen here, this ain't no houseparty Shit.
Y'all ready to drink, y'allready to sweat till y'all stink?
You know, I'm sorry, you keepdancing with the devil.

(37:01):
Careful boy, you gonna bite offmore than you can chew.
One day he's gonna follow youhome.
You think that's a problem now?
What the hell going on?
Oh, we heard tale of a party.
This world already left you fordead.
I can save you from your fate.
You don't need no saving.

(37:23):
Yes, you do and you are.
I am your way out.
Don't cry.
He's all better now.
Yes, I lied to you.
I don't believe in magic, ghosts, demons, just power.

(37:53):
Somebody please take me who?
We gonna kill every last one ofyou.
Hey, I didn't mean to scare you, thought y'all done, forgot

(38:28):
about me in here.
Come on, open the door, let meon out of here.
Steve, it's you, of course it'sme.
Open the door.
Let me on out of here, stave isyou?
Of course it's me open the door.
That ain't your brotherlurching.
You know what's the only thingI think?

(38:55):
I shot myself.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Mr Amazing, send us to our Michael B Jordan.
What do you think of it like aslash forward thriller movie?
Send down south back in thedays, mr Amazing.
When you green light it, y'alllight it, or red light this
trailer machine.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
I'm green.
It reminds me of Get Out.
Yeah, I told you while thetrailer was playing.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
It reminded me of the one, that HBO one, I can't
remember the name of it, but itgot cancelled.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I actually liked that when they cancelled.
It reminds me of that also.
And then you got some prominentnames in the movie.
Actually, obviously, we startedwith Michael B Jordan you got
my guy from I always know fromthe Wire and others, but I
always know from the Wire.
Sorry, I don't know your name,man, but you're a great actor.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
I know the guy that came up with his name all the
time in my head.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Yeah, me neither, but he's a great actor he has a
yeah, yeah, so it's.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
It comes out April 18th of this year.
Yeah, I thought it would beValentine's Day, it looked like
a Valentine's Day movie.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
Why is it a Valentine's Day movie, bro
Michael?
What kind of movies?
Always because of Valentine'sDay love movie, love story
movies, my Valentina rememberthat came out my.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Valentina what's it called again the?

Speaker 2 (40:08):
one that you, maybe the one I watch on your 3D TV.
Yo, that came out onValentine's Day.
Whatever it was called, yo, itwas based on my Valentine's, of
course, but it was horror, though it wasn't a love movie.
They always drop a horror movieduring Valentine's Day.
It feels like they do.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Coast.
Yeah, probably you told me.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
I thought that was going to be a Valentine's Day.
Release Beyonce with you.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
I thought it could be a hit movie.
It looks like it is going to beone.
Most horror movies don't costthat much money.
If he makes like $150 million, they've made a good profit off
of it.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
Of course.
What's his first name?
Michael B Jordan?
No, no, no, the producer Cougar, the Black Panther guy.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
That's the same guy as.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Black Panther.
He's known for this stuff.
This is up his alley so shouldbe interesting.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Alright, mr Amazing, let's go to our should we care?
Topic of the week, mr Amazing, already broken already, but
we'll go back onto.
Microsoft has announced that4-5 will be coming to
PlayStation 5 this spring.
Mr Amazing, what do you thinkabout that, mr Amazing?
Do you care a lot?

Speaker 2 (41:15):
little, not at all, I think you should care a lot
actually, because that's a greatgame on the Switch.
If it's on the Switch 2, youput it on the Switch 2.
I care about that actually, andthe mechanics of a Switch to
play the game and stuff likethat.
So I think you get a wholedifferent experience A same game
but a different experience andstuff like that.
So I think you're getting awhole different experience A
same game but a differentexperience.
I think it's a game.
I actually care actually.

(41:36):
I actually care.
What about you?

Speaker 1 (41:40):
My thing is like I reached a point that it's normal
.
Now Microsoft, to me, isnothing but a third party.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Oh, you called your Sega.
He said yo look at Sega.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
You called your Sega for a long time and I recently
saw my spot for Microsoft, but Ijust think that we're not
actually surprised that this ishappening with Microsoft anymore
.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I'd be surprised if Microsoft says, hey, Gears of
War is coming on the system.
That's what I'd be surprised.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Like I said, I'm be surprised.
You know, like I said, I'm notsurprised Doom was coming on
there, because, remember, doomwas I mean wait, then I was due
for the Switch.
No Doom was coming for PS5 ohyeah, that's not surprising.
I'm like, yeah, cool, but also,mr Amazing, probably should we,
should.
We care a lot, literally notall topic um the um, playstation

(42:32):
, the creators, developers ofMLB, the show 25 would not be on
Game Pass wait, wait, say thatagain the show the show baseball
game yes, would not be on GamePass really

Speaker 2 (42:45):
why, they didn't like the sales.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
I guess Xbox wasn't giving that money up you know,
so they'll tell baseball put theshow on a Game Pass.
Okay, so basically you gottabuy it digitally or physically.
You still get an Xbox.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
Oh yeah, you can still get an Xbox.
It won't be on a Game Pass.
Oh no, that was a PlayStationexclusive man, was it?
Yes, it was, yeah, I did a veryexclusive man, was it?

Speaker 1 (43:13):
yes, yeah, it was, yeah, the old studios did it for
a very long time yeah, Iremember they did a very good
job with it no, that's a verythat's a great baseball game.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Actually, I don't play baseball games like that
anymore, but that was a greatone, the only thing if you play
the baseball spot.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
You play some, you make it make it more, make it
more quicker, you know.
So the gameplay, well, not tosay the gameplay, but the hours
of the game, oh, okay, okay.
So, mr Major, anything you wantto say before we end the show?
I don't have a shout out of theweek.
Do you have a shout out of theweek?
Well, hold on.
But I forgot to say okay, okay,we both green light the trailer

(43:53):
for Sinners, absolutely, andshould we care a lot?
A little, like I said, I care alittle about both topics,
whether it's it won't be theshow, cause it's like I think
you try to.
Unfortunately, a lot ofconsumers at Xbox want the games
free.
They're losing out buying games.
It's like how movie theaters, after 30 days, they won't put

(44:13):
their movies on streaming.
That's true, and you got peoplelosing out.
Why should I watch it now, before it's streaming?
So, as far as the MV show, carea little.
Was it a big deal?
No, so I'm not going to say Icare a lot, but go right ahead,
mr Nathan.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
I do agree with you on several things.
Only thing is, with the Forza Iactually care a lot on that one
A lot more of me on that one.
I think it's a differentexperience Same game but the
different system gives you adifferent experience.
How's the experience?
The?

Speaker 1 (44:42):
whole handheld concept the whole joystick thing
.
I'm talking about placing theflywheel, not on the Nintendo
Switch, oh not on the Switch, onthe Switch, On the Switch.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
I mean I don't care, but on the Switch I do that, so
that's a big difference.
And my thing is a Joy-Con.
What's the difference between aJoy-Con?
What's the difference?
Because, remember, you can domore.
You can add it to the littlewheel thing, you can do a little
bunch of stuff.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
You can just buy yourself a wheel thing Xbox 360,
Xbox, you do the same thing.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
Which is true.
So now it's like ooh.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
The only thing that made me to happen feedback for
the PlayStation 5, but the onlyperson who really loses the
happy feedback is the people whocreate Astro Bot.
Everybody else is just notreally using it.
They get advantage of it.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
Astro Bot did a very good job with that.
Yeah, I this week, if I want toNah oof, I got to talk about it
when you play.
I want to dig into that gamemore.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
All right, so, miss May, I guess we have no
shout-out of the week, nogangster or wankster of the week
either.
Oh, wankster, I got wankster.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
Netflix, raising my damn price again.
That's what I want to say.
Where did again man To what?
Now I don't know, I almost gotthat $30.
I got the highest one man Metoo, yes.
Oh, yo yeah they're damn waxesyo For me.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
A lot of people Remember I was predicting
Netflix will be 50 bucks 50's alot, because that's the whole
cable service.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
But yo yeah, they're raising the price again.
Man, I was like damn man, whenNetflix, you get the wax of the
week for raising your prices, that's right, they do yo.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
All right, everybody, Everybody like and subscribe to
the game.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
I thought you said you had a shout-out.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
No, I had no shout-out.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
I had no shout-out.

Speaker 1 (46:27):
Oh, you didn't have one.
You got me a shout-out.
No, I didn't have.
