Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hello everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It is a Sunday, another one, another Sunday, So welcome
to another Sunday Gamer's Therapy Show.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
For all those on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Again, we appreciate you guys tuning in and you're more
than welcome to join us at Sundays at four pm
live and yeah, we would appreciate you being there. All right,
this Sunday, we were scheduled to have a game developer
who's developing a game on Kickstarter here, his names Ivan,

(00:46):
and we're just waiting for him.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Isn't a different time zone, so we're not sure if.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
There's We're not sure if there's a an issue with
that there or not, but.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
We'll go ahead in just kind of fill you in
on our week.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Well, we give him a few moments here and if not,
we'll just continue our show because hey, lot's what we
do anyways, improvise, overcome, adapt, that's all we can do.
So this week we finished up our well, everything got
finished up at the end of the month a couple
of days ago, so we're just kind of waiting to
see many Warmont's outcome for his paint challenge. I'm not

(01:33):
sure what he's doing or who's winning, but we got
our stuff in. I got in as much as I could.
But those of you that's been listening.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
No, Hello, makass, we get things going.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Hello Telemachus, how are you, sir? Always see greets back
to you. We are just kind of waiting for our guest.
He's got his invites, so we'll see if you can
make it. I know there's a time difference, so I'm
hoping he didn't get it confused. Yeah, but anyways, we're

(02:07):
just we're just gonna keep going on anyways. To me
guess we're just be ourselves. So greetings. Back to you, sir.
It's been another week. You can see in the background
there I got a jar.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Well it's a big jar actually.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
For I'm gonna do a little video on how to
make homemade homebrewed ice coffee and his coffee that's right, man,
And the cost effectiveness of doing it at home as
opposed to I mean, everybody's gonna say, oh, yeah, I'm
sure it's cheaper at home, but I don't think they're
gonna realize it's it's considerably cheaper.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So anyways, look for that here hopefully this week.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I want to try to get that done and get
that out too, just.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Just because we're gamers with coffee.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
You know, that's it, Charles, we appreciated that you're here.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Charles says, he's here and he's unloading. Listens, Hey, you
must have done good at the casino. If you can
afford to buy food in our country these days, heck yeah,
going to the.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
California going to the grocery stores like being robbed anymore.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
You just it's it's I don't know, it's getting ridiculous,
even in a.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Cheaper state like where we live. It's just it's tough
without spending minimum of fifty.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
They're cutting into my so mesa cuts into my hobby money.
But you gotta you gotta eat sometimes, right, Oh, let
me see here, why not let me check check automatically,

(04:03):
just maybe an automatically. Facebook is a it's still difficult
not doing anything. You just share it over there, then
you do that.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
If it's going to the page, No, it does go
to the page.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I think that's where it's probably going to be going.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
No, it goes to the Facebook page.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
But I try to get it to the group because
the group is you know, more active than the page.
The page is is good too, so you guys should
be able to see it pretty much. The one place
I don't try to stream is Instagram.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
They don't let you stream very long. It's real picky,
so I think it.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And and then again they're tied in with you know,
meta so Facebook, so it's one of those they kind
of want everything focused there. But the game developer that
had scheduled to be here today, he's the developer of

(05:13):
Iron Scales. We can show you a little bit about
his game. Like I said, I'm not sure what happened,
emailed me just the other day. He was ready to
be on and all that. So he even was kind
enough to send a phone number. So I've texted him
and emailed him and we'll see hopefully he can make it.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Maybe something come up, you know, life goes, things come up.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
But what I will do for him is we'll just
kind of show you a little bit of what he's
doing at Kickstarter. And it is a game called you
got that ash called iron Scale, So it looks like
it's going to be pretty good.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
I'd blow that up more.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, it's a whole lot of second here.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Chris, Hello, Chris from not Jay's Tabletop says, how they
folks how are you, Chris.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I've had fun the last.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Month in and out of the hospital too many times
and fighting off infections and hasn't been a fun. Hasn't
been a fun thirty days. Let's put that way.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
There, so you can go to Kickstarter and you can
check it out.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
It is a.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Ashley can kind of read there that for you.

Speaker 6 (06:41):
Iron Scales control armed dragons into battle, fast paced, tactical,
modern weapons and epic air fight in post apocalyptic war
Skywar yep.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
And so it's uh, he's created this game and like
the map down there is got hexes on it.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
So loads of weapons, mount your dragons, prepare for war.
Only the strong survive. Will you be the one to
dominate the skies? Ages fourteen plus, two to six players,
forty battles.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, sounds like it'd be pretty fun. And it's X based.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
It looks like.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Chris says, I'm doing well. I hope you're doing better.
I'm glad to hear you're doing well. Chris.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
I am doing better. It was a.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Very very kind of just it just was really bad
without going on, but things seem to be working our
way out. I finally got my blood pressure down enough
to go to see the dentist on Tuesday. So Tuesday
they're going to remove part of one tooth that's stuck

(07:58):
in there, another.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Two, then some of the jaw off, whatever come.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Bits of bone what they say they got to do.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
So it's not gonna be fun, but at least it's
being done on a Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Trying to get a picture of it. All right, I'm
moving it. There we go.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
Yeah, now we took my other monitor away from me.
We have it hooked up to our Xbox right now,
so I don't have my camera right here.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well, we didn't really take it. We just it's all good.
Is that way?

Speaker 2 (08:34):
We could start doing some things too. Battlefield six is
coming on the tenth, so that's it.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
We should be able to start downloading tomorrow. I believe six.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
I think they're gonna let your pre download yep, but
you can't play, but you can. Instead of trying to
have everybody downloading a Day one while playing Day one,
would make sense to not jam up the servers like that.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
All right, huh, you're.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Let's see here.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
So that's kind of a brief overview of the game
that the gentleman was going to be here for her
to talk about so I can only assume something came
up and hopefully everything is it is good for him,
and if he does show up in the middle of
the show, then we'll take it from there because because

(09:30):
that's all we can do. But anyways, Chris, it's been
a while since we got to get on there and
sit with you guys and.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Paint and chat.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I apologize Ashley works nights now and I had to
just can't take care of my house. I've been trying
to get to bed a little bit earlier and things
like that.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
However, after this week, once once all this.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Surgery stuff on my jaw is done, I wouldn't mind
in the next couple of weeks getting back on your
show and saying hi. It was always a good time.
And for those of you listening on the podcast, it's
not Jay's tabletop gaming. He is on YouTube also, so
check him out and he's a good guy. And Charles says,

(10:20):
mister t and Chris, there you go, Hey, Chris. Charles
apparently won a lot of money at the casino, so
he was able to buy groceries today, so hats off
to him.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Hip hip, hooray. That's about what I gotta do to
go to the store. You got all that ships primed.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
And Chris Jay's Table Talk Gaming says, I have my
ships for the Battle of Crego. Is that it straight
prime and we'll get them finished up. It's over the week, weekend,
the next ten days.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
And you don't really you really do like the naval stuff.
There's a couple of naval games I have, Like I've
told you before, but naval games are they're just it's
a bit sells the glory wings Glory, and then that
new one you buy.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Sales wings the glory stuff. Okh and then that new one,
what new one that we tried?

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Oh you maybe, Oh no, I don't think. I think
maybe you're going to confuse what Clint had. Now she's
trying to figure out. Charles says, Ashley just grabbed suppliers
to help Greg.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
It is break through this one.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, breakthrough. That's three. That's a little naval game. Yeah,
you're right. I was I forgot about because that's.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
A small one.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
I'm like, I know we have a third one.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
If it was that easy, Charles that I would have
took care of it already.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
It's a bit more.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
He won't let me I told him I'll knock him
out for it. Actually I probably wouldn't because then I
would want him to fill all it.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Chris, did I send you a place at copy of
my rules yet?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
No? Are you talking about the rules you were working
on and wanted to test out?

Speaker 8 (12:17):
No?

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Yeah, no, you haven't sent us anything. But if you
want to send us a copy of the test plan,
go for it. We'll do that. So we have ships
we could ease it.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, we got plenty of ships from the games to
take out you, so i'd be the parts. Charles says
he didn't win the lottery. He bought all that on
his credit card. That's gonna hurt. Well, he shots at Costco,
so probably got.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Yeah, but you got to buy the bolt so it's expensive.
Hey meet those, he says. Hey, they're beautiful people. I'm
here just lurking. We'll spending time with the lovely missus.
That's cool. A hello to her for us. She's a
good game player.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Too, man.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Well, she keeps him in check. So no, she plays
the game good. Good. Use a chisel and hammer on
my face. I don't think it would accomplish the same goals.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
There.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
They want to do.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I wish simple tooth bowl, but it's a it's a
bit beyond that.

Speaker 7 (13:26):
So well, the game that's up on the table is
gonna be our next one. Trench Christ Club almost called
it trench Knife.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
That's the other one.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
No, oh cool, Chris says, I will get the play
test pack email to you. That would be great, Chris.
We will most definitely give it a shot. And oh yeah, because.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
We've had this part for right about a year.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
And they upgraded our internet.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
Our internet got upgraded, our printer just stopped working. So
it took me two weeks to finally get a hold
of someone an HP and they said, because my printer
or my internet's too high of a speed.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
It won't work with the printer. Yeah, and there's nothing
they will do.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
So in other words, I bought a printer last year, noon,
and I'll have to go buy another one. So I
just borrow Keegan's printer and print the rules out.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Charles says, dollar store grocery outlet.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, you gotta watch the Dollar Store food some it's
not just the Dollar grocery outlet. I'm not sure about
they have. I mean, us gamers just have to be
able to you know, well, I.

Speaker 7 (14:47):
Think they have like a nine nine cents store that
might be different than our dollar Tree up here.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Eliad though, well they basically they had them ninety stores here,
but now everything's at minimumia.

Speaker 9 (15:02):
It's all good, he said, okay where he messaged me
on Facebook.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
All right, thanks Chris, we will check it out after
the show here.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
So AnyWho, So, okay, Jay, I'm glad because he says,
that is not a thing.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
What printer do you have? What brand?

Speaker 2 (15:34):
I didn't think it was a thing either, but this
is what Hewlett Packard Support said. They even got on
him the remote through the computer to say and that
that was their excuse. The printer doesn't work because our
internet speed is too high.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
I'm like that that makes no sense to.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Me because so so what we have is HP HP
does Jet four to one five five E, HP desk
Jet four to one five five E. If you have
an idea, that'd be great, because really can't afford to
just go buy another printer. But you guys know how

(16:15):
that is, right, If you don't have a printer when
you need it, yeah, you're just kind of out of
luck because you know.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
Jim jar Welcome, He says, you mean everyone football is
good and super spicy always. I'm always super spicy.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah, feisty, Oh you said spicy sometimes feisty.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
You know what I mean to take ideas from Charles.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
I want to have a talk with Charles. Yeah, Charles says,
the nine nine cent stores are gone. Dollar Tree is
a dollar twenty five.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, so they are down there now. They are well.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Dollar trees are everywhere. It's kind of kind of weird.
They're even in Talented. There's nobody at but.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
I don't know. Oh awesome.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Mitho says that his wife Lily says, go back, thank
you Methos for passing that on, and we do gotta
get another game going. Chris says, is it connected by
Wi Fi? Yes, sir, this one, this one is not.
Doesn't It doesn't allow you to connect it with the

(17:23):
USB cord, which I'd rather have the mess accords sometimes
because this is just a desktop stationery. If it was,
you know, if it was from my laptop and I
was running a portable thing and all over the country,
that'd be different. But you know, yep, it's connected by

(17:46):
Wi Fi. So when we call it the cable company,
they said they couldn't. They don't do anything like that
to help. But HP support was ridiculous to get a
hold of a live person and even more ridiculous to
be told.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
That my internet is too fast. I pay for the.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Fastest internet I can get up and download speeds because
we do the show, so we just want to be
as seamless as possible.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
And of course we do gaming on Xbox too, so.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
You want your your games to be able to you know,
you don't want a bunch of lag, even though it
happens with servers, but you want to try to avoid it.
I'm using it, he said, Are you using the Internet
providers Wi Fi router or my own the providers. It's

(18:39):
a little eurobox e r Oh, it's a regular router,
and then that you connect these europod.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
To it and it provides Wi Fi. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (19:02):
I wish we could go back to the cord.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
His old HP wouldn't do Wi Fi, so for a
while he had to use the cable to print stuff.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Yeah, and this is a decent printer. It was great.
It was working just fine, and then all of a sudden, because.

Speaker 7 (19:19):
I mean I put all that card stock through it
and printed all those buildings.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah, she printed a lot of those Well, you guys
seen that the card stock, terrain and all that that
she read was.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Done just fine.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
And I did my taxes you know, at the beginning
of the year like everybody else, and I do mine online,
so printed all that, so I just haven't an issue.
And all of a sudden they have graded our stuff.
Chris says, let me do some looking and I will
see what I can figure out for you. All that
would be much appreciated, because, as I told her, asked,

(19:57):
I said, this is dumb. It's just dumb that I
have to go another printer because of my WiFi, you know,
and I don't know.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Now it would make.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Me wonder, Well, then what printer out there is good
to buy because everything on the shelf was already made before.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
It's not, you know, so I wouldn't even know where
which one to buy that.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Would quote work with all this. But anyways, it is important.
And Chris says he has three printers older than a
year old and they work on the high speed internet
here in Kansas City. Well, again, I just asked. It

(20:44):
was on the phone them lines of work for quite
some time. They took over the computer and did all
this lurking around and ere. They couldn't get it to
hook up with any settings. So I don't know, man,
I don't know. It shouldn't it shouldn't have an issue.

(21:05):
I mean, nothing should have an issue hopping on faster internet.
But well version of Windows. Am I using Windows a
level of it right now because I had the free
free upgrade Windows ten, actually Windows eight I really liked,

(21:30):
are not Windows eight?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Windows seven?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
And then I don't know, they just keep adding the
software to what's there? Well, Charles says, Chris, you're most excellent.
Bill and Ted reference, which I like going to those days.

Speaker 7 (21:49):
I gotta see the new one that they just released,
the Bill and they yeah, they just did a new
one a couple of years ago, I believe.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Well, you'd have to look it into it, I don't know,
and then you'd have to see what you.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
What you can't do. So who we're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
We'll look over those rules for you and do a
test game too, Jay or Chris, and then Trench Club
we got there. And then for the rest of you
that joined that big jar there is. Greg's gonna do
a little short video, like just a couple of minutes
how you can make homemade rice coffee, but do it

(22:34):
for cheaper because everyone knows you can do it cheaper.
But I don't think they realized exactly how much cheaper
it is. And I've been doing it quite a bit
and it's it's saved me some decent money.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
It came out years ago, five years ago. Yeah, it's
the same actors. I guess they did want five years ago.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Home.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Yeah, I don't know. Uh, face the music, face the music.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Of course, that had to be the end to it all. Basically,
they're trying.

Speaker 7 (23:05):
They're bringing back pretty much almost every character that they had,
and then there's like I think two girls that help
in it, or that you do actors or something like that.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
I saw previews of it. I'm like, I need to
see it. I've seen the other ones.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, that was the most excellent movie, but.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
You know, it was stupid.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
It was fun. It was a fun movie. Now, just
all your movies are just I don't know, just like.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
With the Dumb and Dumber series.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
I had to see the last one just because it,
you know, twenty years in between them.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
You have to see what they do.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Yeah, you don't know what I mean, kind of like
the movie Paul, Oh god, no, I got Ashley. I
got Ashley to watch last week Idiocrasy. That was.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Weird. But is it?

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Portray society is Yeah, if you haven't watched it, Ashley says.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
She lost the brain, so it was it was okay.
It was just kind of a.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Mock of a current society. And then there's mister Minnie Warmont. Hello, sir,
how are you?

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Oh? Yeah, he is generally he shows up the.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Wrong five or when we get ready to leave.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
So you're getting all your stuff together? Many Warmont for
your painting competition? Uh that you were you were doing? Oh,
Charles has run away much here? No, So I know

(24:59):
Ashley got that. Her diorama gained some traction. I mean
I think she's got.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Well last night it was what four point five k
on that.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
One forty five hundred views or something on it. It's
kind of weird. How stuff will do that, I don't know,
just gets passed around. I guess, yeah, your painting your
painting challenge or competition? What are you calling it? I
thought it was a challenge, Maybe I say competition. Either way,
I'll take the blame and we'll just go forward. How

(25:31):
did the whole painting the miniature painting thing.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
She's got five key as of right now.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Yeah, I think some of mine are.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
It just has five kids. Yeah, that's cool. Five and
thirty five. There you go. It was school diorama. Hello,
mister ice Wolf, how are you, sir?

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (26:00):
We are doing good. Greg is doing better.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
And Tuesday I get this issue removed, so hopefully, well
from there on it'll just be better.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I'm kind of glad it's.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
On a Tuesday because that then I can still I
won't have an issue doing the show next week. It's
just hopefully is what it is. But I's Wolf.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
We're gonna do some Trench Club too, which is World
War One. This is World War one instead of World
War two.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
Yeah, because we have the other one, which is aces
and armor, which is World War two.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yea, So it's gonna be the same.

Speaker 10 (26:43):
It's the same concept, but same concept, different timeline, different
you know, equipment and troops and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Oh wad on McMurray.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Huh, says yes, I'm waiting for McMurray to send me
his and I can finish the awesome.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Does someone do their hair to me? What do you
mean by that? Because it's not.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Pulled up in a bun No, normally ice wool for
her is red.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
She hasn't died it or anything lately.

Speaker 10 (27:12):
It's been going on three weeks four weeks now. Yeah,
so it's dude for one. But she doesn't have it
all pulled up this time.

Speaker 7 (27:20):
She's I don't even know where any of my rubber
bands are right now.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Yeah, we're not professionals. I guess never are.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
I couldn't afford to suit and tie thing anyway, So
that you're gonna see Gregan, isn't it sure?

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I mean, do you know how to tie a tie?

Speaker 6 (27:40):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (27:41):
I know how?

Speaker 5 (27:41):
Really?

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Okay, so what was your tie for our wedding? It's
in the closet. It was a zipper.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Oh yeah, that's because it was a cool looking tie
though it's the one you zipped up. But yes, I
know how to tie a regular tie. You opened the
clip and you put it on a push.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
No, let's see.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
May One says, I'm working on a five star WARLLS
set up. Then I will dive into some soulo RPG.
It's awesome. Isn't that the other group, the star Wolves?

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Yeah? Isn't that the other group with Ice five?

Speaker 7 (28:28):
I know it's five parseex but I think star star
Wolves are the one with Ice Wolf in.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Wag, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
I don't have that sheet any more than made.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Well, now you just opened up the question. Everybody's gonna say,
you don't know what group you're in.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
I know it's not our group. Through the hell helnds.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
I know that one that fits you. Shut up, come
from hell. Feisty red hair, that's the jam. Jar says,
clip it. Yeah, no, I mean I do know how
to tie a regular tie.

Speaker 7 (29:07):
Been with you almost twenty years, and I've never seen
you tie a regular tie.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Because where do I When do I wear a tie?
I do? You couldn't wear a war wedding I do?

Speaker 5 (29:17):
I did.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
It was a zip up tie, and it was a
very nice tie. That's why.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Oh but I okay, my work doesn't let me wear
nice clothes. It looks nice red Ice Wolf says.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
I say, I've had my hair red for what six
seven years?

Speaker 7 (29:36):
I won't If I let it grow out, it would
be brown and I look too much like my mother.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Nope, okay, many more, says ice will Flag.

Speaker 7 (29:48):
I guess, yeah, yeah, yeah, everyone else his name, I
haven't seen him for a bit.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Where do I just see you. It's a loch So
Chris Show Saturday.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Oh, don't ask me to say that name because I
can't pronounce it.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
I always mess it up. Yeah, once you get used
to saying it. So what was that? Was kids probably
playing our house.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I heard some kind of weird noise. I'm like, am
right hearing things again? They gave me medicines for that.
So I school asked, was it.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Not the plan to have a guest over to promote
a new game? Yes? I even have it in my captions.
It was that.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
So the gentleman was doing an iron game called Iron Scales.
We've had it all set up for about two weeks now.
He's been in constant contact with me on email. I
even gave me his phone number of already tried calling
and send him a text and send him an email
with the link so he could get on. But I'm

(31:09):
not sure what's going on. So maybe he had something
come up. I don't see him putting all that effort
into it and then just not showing up because he's
trying to promote the game, So I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
I'm not sure what happened.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I haven't heard back from him, but I did just
the other day, so you know, he was very very
much wanted to be here, wanted to double check the
time and everything.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
So not sure.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
I'm not sure what happened, but we'll be on for
a little bit, so if he sees his missed phone
call or checks his text message or sees his email, he'll.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
Be able to he's an hour behind us.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
I'm hoping just maybe he got you know, forgot about
time change. Maybe so, but his life sometimes things come up.
He probably just forgot. Jay says, I already answered.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Him quick question on the printer issue.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Did you remove the driver and download the newest driver
and install it?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Did you do that with HP? I never removed anything,
so then I guess they didn't have her remove it.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
So maybe we'll have to try that then, because I
definitely don't want to get rid of a brand new,
you know, printer over something that's got to be it's
got to be something simple that's getting in the way.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Well, I just wouldn't be surprised, you know, they got
into the system.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
I gave information to get into the system that they
didn't even see that.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
If that's the case, it's customer service. Who knows.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Sometimes if you get a good person sometimes you don't.
That's a good idea though, christ I'll try that too,
see what.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
I can do with that.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
But anyways, Ice Wolf, that's that's the latest on that.
So I'm not sure if he's gonna show up or
or not today. Well, hello, Reality Escape Studios. How are
you hello there? Welcome to our little bit of insanity
that we do on Sundays. Just a bunch of gamers

(33:37):
hanging out, chit chatting, having fun.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
So any any we will be doing the trench clip.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Thing here soon, but I think I'm gonna have more
fun doing my eyes for coffee things.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Well, hello, Ivan, it's Ivan. I sent you Ivan. I
sent you a link in your email. You click it
and it will bring you up.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
If you're in front of the laptop or your phone,
it'll bring you on.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
I can bring you on there, it is there.

Speaker 7 (34:20):
We go.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Hold on a second, we will bring Ivan on now.

Speaker 8 (34:28):
Yeah, Hey guys, sorry, traffic trouble here.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
No, that's okay. That's what I was telling everybody.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I figured you were you were really adamant about being here,
so I figured something just come up. So it's all yeah, definitely, yeah,
you're all good man. So we did find your game
on Kickstarter there and I can pull it up real quick.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Ashley, I'm getting it. So hello, Ivan, I'm Greg.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
This is Ashley my wife, and yeah, she's gonna pull
up so we can show.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
People what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Then I'm gonna let you talk about it, Ivan, like,
what what inspired you to do this game and what
it's about?

Speaker 5 (35:13):
Well, if you all want to be quite honest, I
came across actually one of your guys's videos.

Speaker 8 (35:20):
You guys were playing what's it called, the one with
the airplanes, Wings of Glory. There we go.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
So I actually came across from you guys' video Wings
of Glory, and I kind of got into that mechanic itself,
and I was like, hey man, that sounds really cool.

Speaker 8 (35:38):
There were a couple of things that I said.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Hey, you know what, I don't like certain things about it,
and I said, you know, let's go ahead and try
to make another game that kind of inspired by this one.

Speaker 8 (35:49):
So I started looking into games that are similar.

Speaker 5 (35:51):
I came across gas Lands, which was similar mechanics but
with cars, and then looked into X Wings and that's
really where it really started. So I was like, hey man,
I got to be with these guys. I want to
talk to these guys about this game because I saw
them play something and they're kind of where this spiration
came from.

Speaker 8 (36:09):
So that's really where it really started.

Speaker 5 (36:11):
I changed the theme completely right from airplanes to dragons.
I think back then when I started working on it,
how to Train Your Dragon was coming out.

Speaker 8 (36:23):
So I was inspired by that, so how to Train
Your Dragon was on my mind.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
And you guys this video about playing Wings of Glory,
and that's really where this brace really came from. Started
doing that little things that I wished Wings of Glory had,
which like customized your actual let's say you're playing, you
couldn't customize it. There was a lot of different planes
with a lot of different areas of attack and stuff
like that, but I was like, I wish I could
pick a different weapon. Right back then, I think it's

(36:49):
I think it was like World War One or something.
I can't remember really quite well, but they only had
machine guns, right or something like that.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
And limited equipment at the time, So right, awesome.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
I'll take a second the chat if you can see it.
Everybody's saying hello to you.

Speaker 8 (37:03):
So hey guys, sorry y'all doing I'm glad to be here.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
So go ahead, man on iron scales. You you can
customize your dragon.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
Yeah, you can actually pick your dragon in the game itself.
I managed three different types of dragons. The first one
is a light one, which means basically they're fast, and
there is a medium in a large The medium kind
of reduces your mobility keeping the same let's say, equipment
that the light dragon would have, and the heavy dragon

(37:34):
is of course slower and bigger. Right, Like we look
at the movie.

Speaker 8 (37:39):
Like I said, right, uh, how to train your dragon.

Speaker 5 (37:41):
There's this really huge dragon, but when he goes against
Knife Fury to the very you can see the move
the movement difference, right, and I Fury's super fast and
stuff like that. So I took a lot of inspiration
really from from the movement from that movie.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
And that happens the Alpha and Toothless.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Yeah, toothless, right, then you for two a super fast
and when it goes against that big alpha that's hiding
in the in the volcanoes right.

Speaker 8 (38:05):
In that well in the island, he's super huge, but
he's not nearly.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
As fast as as a toothflips, right, So I kind
of cook that inspiration and that's how well, that's what
implemented to the game itself. Right, you get a small dragon,
medium and a heavy and the heavy you get a.

Speaker 8 (38:19):
Lot of weapons, a lot of firepower.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
We have to be careful because the light ones have
more movement, they move uh one or two more spaces.
They can literally do a U turn and as a
heavy dragon you cannot do that, like.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
The Wings of Glorious or even like Sells Glory, which
is the same concept just with ships. The bigger you are,
the wider the turns and stuff like that, so it's.

Speaker 8 (38:40):
A lot harder to get around exactly.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
So you got dragons that are customizable, and then each
has positive and negative so you kind of you're balancing the.

Speaker 8 (38:51):
Game out exactly.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
And besides the the movement and the customization, they also
have like abilities each dragon. There some are passive, which
are like if you hit the dragons from the side,
it'll take extra damage because supposed but you know, their
side is a little bit more vulnerable than maybe they're
their front where they have a little bit more armor,
et cetera. And I try to I try to a

(39:14):
lot of abilities balance the game out.

Speaker 8 (39:17):
Like I said, it's been the hundreds of testing in Mexico.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
We went to multiple cities and had a big line
of people wanting to play the game. And I'm trying
to really get this game out in the US market
right because I can't physically go out all there all
the time that I live in Mexico.

Speaker 8 (39:31):
But it's been good.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
It's been a good ride. I mean, people show an interest,
especially the theme. It's really interesting in you you know,
dragons with modern weapons.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
And so it's on Kickstarter, right, that's where we are showing.

Speaker 5 (39:45):
Yeah, right now, I'm just have the pre pre campaign now, right,
the pre launch, Uh so people can start kind of
looking into it and start to making noise really on
on online.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Well that's cool. So when when does it launch? Launch
your campaign launch?

Speaker 5 (40:01):
The goal is to launch it actually closer to Christmas
if I you know, it depends on the audience that
I'm kind of getting. If I have a good track,
it's all looking good, that's gonna be the goal. If
I can't, I'll probably just push you a little bit
to quarter one of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Well that's all you can do is kind of check
around and see what you're you said you're getting really
good feedback though.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
Yeah, I mean the game, I don't I don't play
any changes. Really, it's done. But I only need really
to build up that audience and the hype for the game.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
Really well, we'll help spread the word for you, man.
I mean pretty much everybody likes dragons, so you got
it good. That's good there. And the fact that they're customizable,
that would make a difference if you got easy playing
mechanics lots. It's easy for someone to pick up and
go with, and then you have a little bit more advanced.
That's what I like about Wings of Glorious and not

(40:57):
for years been saying to me that's a get one
in the gaming game because it's very easy at the basics,
but it can be harder and harder if you want
to play more advanced. Yeah, And so it kind of
kind of opens the spread because people are like, they'll
sit I mean, I video game too. I'm gonna be
on Battlefield six when it comes out on the Xbox.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Yeah, I guess I have to fight her.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
But you know, so a lot of them can do that,
but then they don't think that they can do a
tabletop game, which I have found is very interesting because
there's a lot of games video games to tabletop games
like Resident Evil and Odythius put out a call to Arms,
so that's like a lot of crossovers, but a lot

(41:44):
of the gamers don't. So I've been finding success getting
video gamers to kind of look at tabletop.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Games too as another another way to have some fun.

Speaker 8 (41:55):
So it's it's funny you mentioned that.

Speaker 5 (41:58):
I actually came across a Facebook post today on my
personal Facebook that said nine years ago I started developing
board games, and I kind of dropped that idea because
back then Kickstarter was not available in my country, so
I was like, oh, man, you know, to bummer and
I actually started also back then, I was actually also.

Speaker 8 (42:18):
Trying to make my own video games.

Speaker 5 (42:20):
And since I was trying to make my own board
games and started looking into game development, I was like,
hey man, a lot of game mechanics or video game
mechanics translate into board games very well. And I noticed
that that that that knowledge from either or like you
play a video game, and I got inspired to do
a board game or backwards, and I like how a

(42:42):
lot of the video games are actually turning into board games,
like the Witcher's out there, and I want to buy
it right now.

Speaker 8 (42:50):
Yeah, the Witcher.

Speaker 5 (42:50):
There's there's a board game and it came out a
while back and it is a little pricey, but it
looks really really good.

Speaker 8 (42:56):
There is Slay the Spire. I believe that it's called it's.

Speaker 5 (42:59):
A recent, recent new of a game. And and they're
I think they're they're they're on Kickstarter. They know they
came out already. They're they're launching on an expansion for
that Vita game into a board game. And then we
have Don't Starve. I believe it's right now.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Yeah, we've played that one. Don't Starve.

Speaker 5 (43:19):
Yeah, and it's interesting.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
It's yeah, well that's cool, man. I mean, as long
as you keep it where people can jump on and
learn and go, then it'll it'll it should take off.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
You should.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
I think the the mechanics I pulled from a different
board games or inspirations. I think it's familiar enough for
experienced veterans to like grab their interest right and easy
enough for somebody kind of maybe sort of YouTube board
games could pick up easily. Because this game I played
with my kids. I have a nine year.

Speaker 8 (43:57):
Old and a six year old, and ten minutes.

Speaker 5 (44:00):
In they're like Okay, I know what I'm doing, right,
But I posted a video earlier this week or last
week talking about my board game because I feel some
people saw it and they saw cards, they saw a
hexagon map, a hext on grid, and they're like, oh no,
I do not want to go into that kind of
ward games, I guess. But once they played it they

(44:20):
tried to, They're like, hey, you know what, this is easy,
it's it's fun, it's easy enough to learn in that
in the first five to ten minutes, not not a
bookkeeper kind of game.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Right, Well, that's good if they that. So some games
are just in here, easy to pick up. And if
it's a hex sprit map, that's kind of cool too.
You there's a lot of people that play hex grid
maps like battle Tech.

Speaker 1 (44:44):
Look how big that is.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
That's massive and it's a hex sprit So you should
be okay even if the maps that way, as long
as your your movements are easy to know what you're
doing and then whatnot.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
So in this what's your what kind of goals are?

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Like I guess I'm gonna say, is so other than
an era of combat or their factions are you can
have factions in it or groups, different groups fighting against
each other or is it kind of you against your friend.

Speaker 8 (45:13):
Or so what this time it's just you against your friend?

Speaker 1 (45:18):
Right?

Speaker 5 (45:18):
We have the three different uh let's say dragon types.
We have six different dragon I like to call them
writers or pilots. Actually, and I did have I was
working on let's say, uh, what's what's next for this board?
Gave men, this one's done. I'm just trying to get
the word out there. But I was working what's next?

(45:38):
So I did actually come up with different let's say
I would call them expansions for it, which would be, hey, look,
these are dragons, but what if we had dinosaurs? Right,
we have these huge dinosaurs, pterodactyls and other things like
that that we can maybe incorporate into the game and
inspired from from from dinosaurs or what if hey, look
if I was focused on dragons, what if we can

(45:59):
get another creature like a pegasus or anything like that. Right,
So it's kind of going towards that to add different
creatures and maybe add other let's say fantasy uh inspired
creatures into the game that are not exactly dragons. So
this game itself, you said, hey, is it's just factions?
It's just everybody against everybody. You can also play in teams,

(46:21):
I guess you know, like like like Quens Awards just
put on uh uh teams of two against another team
of two, which is everybody against everybody. So far I
had groups of three to six people, and let me
tell you, gets very chaotic and fun when it's everybody
against everybody. That's kind of what we've been doing. They
can also definitely play in teams.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
That sounds pretty fun actually, So you can pretty much
count us because we'll have to chart it out and
see so when you get ready to launch it, because
we're all followed and Kickstarter, and I was asking if
there's a link to a website where if you go

(47:02):
to Kickstarter and then look at Iron Scales, you'll find it.
But Ashley can try to work around the let me
see some here, let me see if I can pull
that up from them. I even put the link in here.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Hold on.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
Kickstarter is a pretty good place to go. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (47:24):
So I actually did launch another game a little bit
a little of a smaller scale, which is a dungeon.
That one was more of a focused game inspired by
Uno and dungeons and dragons. That was simple enough for
kids to follow along. And this was the second one
that I'm trying to get on there. So I think

(47:45):
Kickstarter has a really good audience to be well to
start off.

Speaker 4 (47:47):
Right, Yeah, that's a good place to go here.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
Hold on just a second, just take.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
The two spaces and put dots there.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
They're actually send it to you, so you guys can
click on the link and it'll go.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
Yeah, weird world War two.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
Says Nazi dragons. Yeah, right, weird world War two.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
You can do all sorts of whatever. It's stuff, which
is cool. The Kickstarter has had.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
Some pretty Starter games.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
Well there's not so much Kickstarter games.

Speaker 8 (48:22):
Like.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
I gotta liking a camera set from them that I
have for quite some time that works.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
We still have one up there. Yeah, it's up there now.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
That's what we were using before we got the one
that I have using right now.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
But I got two of them, and I end up
giving one to Keegan so he can get on and stuff.
And yes, we're World War two. We do try to
keep it weird as best as we can, kind of
game nerds.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
So that's about how it is. I mean, you know, now, are.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
These chants or are they actual models?

Speaker 1 (48:55):
Yes? So on your dragons. Are they going to be
models or dragons or they like counters?

Speaker 8 (49:02):
So right now they're tokens. They're hexagon shape tokens.

Speaker 5 (49:07):
I did try to approach three D modelers for actual,
you know, miniatures, but at this point I was like,
it's kind of out of my budget, right, and I
wanted to keep the game as friendly as possible since
they can get pretty pricey when they have a lot
of models, especially since my game has every dragon would

(49:31):
be a different model, right, you can't should do the
same ones. I did have the approach like, hey, maybe
we can keep the same model. There's maybe change the
base of the color. That way you guys can identify
who's who belongs to to, right, But right now.

Speaker 8 (49:44):
The approach is definitely just tokens.

Speaker 5 (49:47):
Maybe in the future, well after the game as lunches,
I could look into an expansion of actually having the miniatures,
But right now it's just tokens.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
Well that's cool.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
Those were two The expansion idea might might be a
good thing for you, because you.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Can always look into like just doing STLs and let
people we.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Have a printer.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Yeah, so that might be a cheaper route.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
Well, we might be able to do that at some
point just say, hey, guys, whoever bought the game, you
can here's an STL for the dragons if you want
to print it. And then you're not out any money,
but your fan base got something from you that's worth money.
It costs you nothing really other than to design it,
but your word of mouth it might make a big
difference too. But the miniature part on the hex map

(50:34):
that works. We played quite a few of those games,
like Zevezda. They they're a Russian based company and they
make they make their art of tactic or and so
it's it's a hex space board game, but then your
miniatures move on to hexes, so it kind of combines
hex Encounter with a model instead of a So you

(50:58):
could that may be something you might want to look into,
which wouldn't really it shouldn't be too Yeah that design
you know someone, if you got a friend who can
design your something.

Speaker 5 (51:09):
So right now, just I did have a fan of
stals myself, so I prayed a bunch of little dragons
that I was that I was playing with myself and
the guys. So I do have a bunch of little
dragons STLs that I found. I'm trying to get a
partnership with these guys to see if we can actually
allow to use their STLs. Uh, we'll see where that goes. Actually,

(51:33):
they're they're really cool. I'll try to get the name
for you guys of these these these models where they're
coming from. But I'm trying to get a partnership with them,
so I we could use their STLs. I'm printing them
out and maybe give them to the backers as well.

Speaker 8 (51:46):
But we'll see what happened there.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
That would be cool. And then Charles asked how big
are your exes? Are they like one in checks?

Speaker 8 (51:52):
Or they are one point five inches?

Speaker 1 (51:58):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (51:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (52:01):
And hex the hecks is a guy here. His name
is Jeff.

Speaker 2 (52:04):
He does tons of hexs and counter games, so he
might be interested in looking at that too. Yeah, he
likes that. So Ashley's got up on the other screen there.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
The I'm just slowly moving it down, blew.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
It down so people can see your kickstarter on the
window under.

Speaker 5 (52:23):
Us there, right, And I think what I'm looking at
right now is the movement face where it's similar to Uh,
they're familiar games, right, you pick three cards and slowly
show one at the same time. That way everybody also
moves at the same time, and that's where it gets
a little bit cotic. And see if you're anybody's in
your range and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
And see that was.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
That's the nice thing about that Wings of glorious. Nobody
knows what the other person's.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Gonna do to move You loved it.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
Yes, you can guess, but then when you start turning
movement cards over, it can be very crazy.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
It could be just nuts.

Speaker 8 (52:59):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 5 (53:01):
I think that's why everybody liked the law, is like,
hey man, I don't know what they're doing. Like that's
that's the fun part, right, You don't know where they're
gonna go. You can kind of guess. You could plan
ahead if you want, but then it turns out they're
turning left and you're turning right, or you're going straight,
and that changes the mechanic, right, and and I also
the thing is there are some dragons, right you could equip,
Like I said, they're customizable, so you can equip different weapons.

Speaker 8 (53:23):
Some shoot to the side.

Speaker 5 (53:24):
You could get weapons that shoot to the front, weapons
that shoot backwards. So you kind of plan ahead, like, Okay,
I think I'm gonna go right next to him. I
shoot it on the sideways, right. So I think that's
what makes the game a little bit more fun and
easy to get familiar with. Since you have not you're
not limited to a standard uh a range of a

(53:45):
range of damage sorry or area of damage. You pick
ahead of time and you plan kind of your movement
to make sure there will be in your range next
next movement.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Nice, so.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Hextach says, so this is a countermap No, it's actually
uh like it's token like a chip. So it's basically
a hecks and countergame with dragons.

Speaker 8 (54:10):
Right, I haven't, that's right.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
Yeah, So there you go, Jeff. It's more of a
hex encounter. We were just talking about down the road
maybe getting some printibal minis and Charles says, in various
hobby stores like Michael's, which I don't know if you
have where you live there, Ivan he where they have
the small animals. He found a small bag of very
small dragons that fit on a one and a half

(54:32):
inch hecks very well.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
So is it card driven or cards supported?

Speaker 5 (54:40):
I would say cards driven, right, because that's really where
the where the movement and the equipment comes from and
everything like that.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
So it's card driven there, Jeff.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
Thanks for the tip there, Charles, because he's saying you
can spot find small little dragons at the like the
craft store in our area, So yeah, that'd be cool too.
I think you're gonna do good with this I have,
and I think it'll go a little bit better than
you expect once people realize what it is, because you

(55:13):
got to have something fun, you got multiple players, and
it doesn't take a long time, which in today's world.
I don't know about you, but for all us in
this country, it's like you've got no time at the
end of the day, you.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
Know what I mean. So having a game you could
do in an hour or so, that's kind of nice too.

Speaker 8 (55:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (55:32):
Yeah, So so far the matches have been anywhere between
thirty to fifty sixty minutes. But I think it's a
little bit slow because their first match right the first
time you play, so it's a little bit slower, try
to get to understand the movement, picking the weapons and
all that.

Speaker 8 (55:47):
The off.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
Some people that came back the next day because it
was in boardy in commissions of two days and they
did complete the game in thirty minutes tops.

Speaker 8 (55:56):
So I think it is around that age that range.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
Well, an aim that.

Speaker 7 (56:00):
You have to kind of guess what your opponent's gonna
do is going to take a little bit longer.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
Yeah, but that's always fun because you just don't know
what they're gonna do.

Speaker 7 (56:07):
Because then you start seconds thinking yourself. Yeah, because I've
done that numerous times on any of them that I
have to guess what he's trying to pull.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
Gloria is bad that way you think the other person
is going to move one way, they think you're thinking that,
and then when you guys by the time you pull
your cards or everywhere.

Speaker 8 (56:25):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
So is there a range like a range attack on this?

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Like, uh, can you attack one hex away two hexes
or rang?

Speaker 7 (56:35):
Right?

Speaker 8 (56:36):
So range or attack range? How does that work?

Speaker 5 (56:39):
So each weapon has a different different range and different
attack patterns, right, Okay, So if we actually think it's
I don't think I showcased all of the weapons, but
in the case in the kickstart shows kind of, uh,
some of the cards or the area of attack, So
some of them could have a bigger range of attack

(57:01):
or a bigger area covered, but they do less damage
and something has like a smaller area of effect. Okay, yeah,
I think you're looking at on the screen right now,
do you see? They vary a little bit and some
have area of effects which means they attack all the
dragons that are in that area, which is like the flamethrower,

(57:22):
or if you have a rocky launcher or a mini
gun that would only choose attack one target.

Speaker 8 (57:27):
So it does vary a little bit depending on the weapon.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
Some weapons supply different effects, like if you're poisoned, some
give you like a fire effect, and that's the only
two effects.

Speaker 8 (57:37):
Oh I'm bleeding.

Speaker 5 (57:37):
Literally three effects that I use in the board game itself,
which is poisoned makes you slower the next round. Instead
of three cars, you'll use to 'll just make you
slower for one round. The burning token, once you accumulate
two burns, you'll trade balls in for one damage. And
the bleeding is basically you accumulate your damage right if
they're attacking you constantly, for they'll you'll take one extra

(58:01):
damage and stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (58:03):
Not all cards have side effects, just some weapons.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
But yeah, the other explode basically, and.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Uh, I school ask what kind of equipment is there?
So on your dragon you've got a flame you said,
and rockets.

Speaker 8 (58:20):
But so besides the weapons itself.

Speaker 5 (58:25):
I did include only one extra side equipment, which are armor. Right,
you can choose to keep only weapons go you know,
go all offensive, or you can choose to keep either
its skull armor or side armor that would protect you
from extra damage either from your side. There is a
mechanic in the game where you collide with the dragon

(58:46):
in with another dragon in the air if for some
reason one dragon stops or it goes through where another
dragon is lying. If you guys stop in the same hecks,
there's a collusion mid collusion mid air, right, so there's
just kind of ing and biting at each other and
you have to throw a die to see which one
takes the damage in that case. So yeah, so they

(59:08):
imagine two dragons flying there, they collide, they're clawing and
biting each other, and you do a die roll to
see which one takes extra damage. There are some pilots
that I'll give you like a boost on that that
says you automatically take an extra damage the opponent. Anyway,
there are some that say if you collide with another dragon,
they automatically are poisoned. The imagine him having like like

(59:30):
a poison dagger, and while the dragons are going out.
He you know, he sticks out in sketches, the only one,
so he's automatically poisoned. And there are some equipment that
will help you in those encounters, which are like, for example,
some skull armor. In the encounters you get a plus
one when you roll your die.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Nice, So you.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
Got a whole bunch of little effects and things going
on here. So it's that sounds like you pretty much
thought about it all when you did it got a
nice rounded out game. So and if you're playtesting, is
going to that good for you? You should do very
well when it takes off.

Speaker 8 (01:00:04):
Yeah, someone's recently in.

Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
Two different cities, and like I said, we had the
table was full and right and we had people waiting
to play and they kept coming back for it, which
is a good sign of course. And when everybody was
done playing, I would ask them, hey, how do you
guys feel you know, what do you guys feel like
it needed?

Speaker 8 (01:00:24):
What made you a little bit more let's say frustrated? Right,
because there as always little parts about.

Speaker 5 (01:00:28):
Games that are knew that you wish improved or had
different mechanics, And I didn't get much. The only thing
makes they said that, Hey man, I wish you had
more effects.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
Right.

Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
The first time I went, I was like, hey, you
know what, you're right, you know, and that's when I
started adding the bleeding and the poison effect to it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Very nice. So feedback is very important.

Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
The fact that you listen to feedback makes you a
good game developer because a lot of times people don't.
But that's cool that you're taking the time to go
out there and check with people, see what they want
one and see how it works.

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
That's that's pretty good man.

Speaker 5 (01:01:04):
So I mean, as long as it doesn't break the game, right,
we ought to make sure they're they're they're all not
overpowered and not useless, because then it's not there's no
point adding it. But always listening to people whenever we
went to any convention, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
That's that's a good thing, man, I think, and dragons
are universally liked. It's not like, you know, people don't
like them everywhere in in the United States. Fantasy type
of gaming on the tabletop is far more than say
historical or realistic, like there's just a much larger base

(01:01:39):
for that. So I don't think no matter where you
launch it, and I think it's gonna be good. So
I think you're gonna do good. Just gotta figure when
you're gonna pull the trigger and put it out there and.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
See what happens.

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
Find out here is well, it used to be Black Friday,
but now every day out here some sort of sale.
So but if you were, if you launch it, you know,
towards the end of this month or November or something,
you'll get in on that pre holiday sale thing. And
if not, then Garrett, when you do it next year,

(01:02:17):
Garrett for that, make sure everything is ready to go.
But another question, which kind of dice do you use?
I s well fast D six, D eight, D twelve,
and just as an example, how many wounds does like
a medium dragon have?

Speaker 5 (01:02:35):
Those are very good questions actually, So to keep it
simple for newcomers, I do only use D six and
it's just one D six and that's all we use
for the whole game. I did have the I mentioned
abilities on dragons, and the pilots have their own abilities
that we can you know, match match in mix. Whatever
you're placed out goes and some abilities are passive as

(01:02:58):
some are triggered by a rolled down uh so they
acquire a five a six thumb require a four en
up most.

Speaker 8 (01:03:07):
Of them are four and up.

Speaker 5 (01:03:09):
Five and six are like the really heavy ones where
it's like a double attack. In case you want to
do it, it's called the chain attack in my game.
So you want to attack the same player again, and
you have to roll the die and has to be
like a five or six.

Speaker 8 (01:03:21):
So I only I only use these six dice. What
kind of objectives? I think I see a question about objectives.

Speaker 5 (01:03:29):
It's just literally eliminate the other players or the other team.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
Well that works, I mean that's all the more games
are just eliminate the other side. Let's see in your
expansion stuff you were talking about, you you've got the
ability to add all sorts extra extra thanks to.

Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
Your game as you go to Yeah, so far, I
mean only talking about expansions. I only thought about different
let's say, inspired dragons, right, like I said, one of
prehistoric with your dragons. I'm sorry, dinosaurs. I love dinosaurs.
My kid loves dinosaurs. So we're kind of playing around
with the idea. So we got a couple ready, you know,
like a couple of dinosaurs, and the other one was

(01:04:09):
a uh Man gods like Aztec gods and stuff, and
dragons inspired by them and their ability is kind of
inspired with that kind of thing. So that's the only
ones that I have right now in like in the
near future. But it can definitely be even more right different,
even if it's just dragons, you can definitely do more
different abilities just making sure their balanced said that they're

(01:04:29):
not overpowering anything.

Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
My question is it gonna be because you said there's
what six different dragons that basically two.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
In each one?

Speaker 7 (01:04:38):
Yeah, okay, i'ld say that way you don't have too
many heavy ones or too many light ones.

Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
That makes sense, right, Yeah, just two of each, so
you got two light and two medium too heavy in
the in the base game, the expansions said, hey, you
know what with the expansions as to something close to
the same thing, right too of each.

Speaker 8 (01:04:56):
That way you can have a have a choice of between.

Speaker 5 (01:04:59):
Them and and I also what I was gonna say,
But yeah, yeah, you're you're you're writing a point on that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
Okay, did you guys have any other questions out there?
It'll take a few seconds to go back and come.
But that sounds like like I said before, it sounds
like you got a pretty well round the game, so
I don't really see you having any issues. We'll we'll
pick it up and give it a shot while launching, like, yeah,

(01:05:29):
dragons and dinosaurs.

Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
Yeah, her desk is full of dinosaurs.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:05:37):
There you go, she's paying all.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Sorts of dinosaurs and stuff she's keeping.

Speaker 7 (01:05:42):
Ah, my granddaughter loves my little dinosaur I put up
on a little base.

Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
I had to end up making her.

Speaker 7 (01:05:48):
I blew it up so it's like four times bigger
than mine. But she has it painted like I don't
know what, eight different colors. She just keeps changing whenever
she feels like it. So it's layer off.

Speaker 8 (01:06:02):
They haven't they get.

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
It colombac as as do the dragons have names? And
is there a narrative?

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
So the dragons themselves at this point don't have actual
names on the cards. I didn't really plan ahead on
that giving them names, just have the dragon type. The
pilots still have names since they don't really have a
type of pilot. I guess the narrative. I think somebody
said that about the narrative. I can definitely read, Oh

(01:06:29):
this isn't Spanish, but I can definitely translate it. So
this is kind of my prototype here.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Oh it's a tiny box.

Speaker 8 (01:06:37):
Yeah, it's a tiny box. Really.

Speaker 5 (01:06:39):
The only thing is I think I might have to
do it a little bit bigger because of the type
of map that we're gonna do. This was the idea,
just a little tiny box and having a paper paper map.
I think we're gonna upgrade the paper map to a
quadfold just for durability. Right, a paper map definitely you
know the holds and kind of with time it will

(01:07:00):
rip or you won't see it as good anymore. So
I think we're up just upgrading this to a quad
fold map instead of like the Monopoly type of map.
I guess instead of having the paper map, I did.

Speaker 7 (01:07:13):
A better idea because it'd be more sturdy, and then
with papers you have that wrinkle in it always and
some people get distracted by that.

Speaker 3 (01:07:25):
So the cardboard I think would be your better option
on that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
With the games that we've.

Speaker 5 (01:07:30):
Played, definitely, I do well what I did at the conventions. Actually,
instead of using the paper map, I printed out multiple
maps on a like mousepad material, Like it's really thick
and the doorable, and that's what I was planning, and
also being able to stall, Like, hey, guys, you know what,
I printed all these maps out.

Speaker 8 (01:07:50):
I have like fixed or seven at the moment.

Speaker 5 (01:07:52):
But I printed these maps out on that paper map,
I'm sorry, on the mousepad material, which is.

Speaker 8 (01:07:57):
Like, but they're super good, really thick, they're durable.

Speaker 5 (01:08:01):
You can get them wet and nothing's gonna happen, right
because they're they're they're a different material, different fabric. But
going back to the narrative, I just put the narrative
on the back of the box.

Speaker 8 (01:08:11):
You know what's going on with the theme, and if
you guys are okay, I'll just read that out loud.
That's cool. Yeah, go ahead, go for it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Right.

Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
So I'm gonna translate it so somewhere to my being
a little bit, I'll take a little bit of translate.

Speaker 8 (01:08:23):
So it says one day is the dragons.

Speaker 5 (01:08:26):
The dragons came giant creature is lethal and impossible to stop.
Humanity unleash their weapons of war tanks, airplanes, and nuclear weapons.
But at the end, the only winner was war. Capitals
around the world are ruins and between the old world
humans no longer that used to domain. They no longer

(01:08:49):
are rulers. A new era has started a new war.
Now you can fight for you don't fight. You don't
fight anymore for riches, you fight for survival and the
rest is just how do you play and stuff like that.
But that's just the narrative on what the setting is.

Speaker 8 (01:09:08):
Really.

Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
You know that the dragons just came out of nowhere. People,
you know, the governments, they went crazy. They would try
to eliminate them. But at the end of the day,
you know that the world was in ruins. You no
no longer have the world that you used have.

Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
I Swoll says Dino writers cartoon back in the day,
it was dinosaurs with lasers dinosaur part. He said they
had lasers. It was the old cartoon.

Speaker 8 (01:09:37):
I have to look that up. I'm not familiar with it.
That's interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:09:40):
He's from Netherlands, so it must be something from there,
because I don't remember any show.

Speaker 8 (01:09:45):
Called writers Leard do I But I mean, I'll often
google that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
What it is get some inspiration.

Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
Uh So, like Telema says, is could it be used
in a role playing game for the a dragon combat
portion like Dragon Lands?

Speaker 7 (01:10:05):
Mmmm.

Speaker 5 (01:10:06):
I think you would have to be definitely really creative
to get that get that going, but it might be right.
And this is just a standalone that's a really fast
action paced game. To get that involved into a role
playing game. I definitely see that happening, because role playing
is very creative, but not not as the court game, right,
I mean, if you're that would be definitely something people

(01:10:27):
can can come up with.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Yeah, and then Eyswell says he agrees the map needs
to be good if you use them playing it much.
It needs to be sturdy. So the clud the quad
fold would be just fine. And I know the na
prem ones like the mouse pad, those are great. Yeah,
they never go back. I got them for like, uh,
Star Wars X Wings.

Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
We've got sales glory.

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
We have a bunch of them.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
We got a couple of them, so they're better. The
quad folds, though, were good. That's that's what's in a
law of the game workshop stuff a nice dirty cardboard
and when customers get it, they feel like they got
a good map because maps are a big thing.

Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
To tabletop gamers and paper.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
You can do paper, but unless you got like some
plexiglass to put down over it and flatten it out,
most people don't have that. You know, well, the hecks
and counter guys do. That's where I learned it from them.
But I think I think your boards would be better.
Your quotum would be just a good deal.

Speaker 8 (01:11:30):
Yeah, quality, it would.

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
Add to your presentation of the game. Yeah, overall, like quality,
I think that's a good deal.

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
Yeah, I compalely agree. Right when I went, I talked
about it. It's like I wanted to keep it one as
affordable as possible. So I was like, hey, pepper and paper,
paper mount works, and if somebody wanted to invest a
little more, we could definitely sell the mouse pads. But
when I started quoting, I was like, dude, it's fifty
cents difference or like a dollar difference for me to
get quad fold in a big quantity against the papers. Like,

(01:12:04):
I'm definitely going to the quadfold. That gives everybody so
much more value. And it's not gonna raise the price
of sky High, right, But that was my initially, you know,
the lowest I can get it with the best quality possible.
But when you once start quoting, you realize, hey, it
doesn't impact their price that much, right, It's it's something
I didn't expect. So that's why my prototype is a

(01:12:25):
lot smaller than the final. The only difference is the
map itself to be quadfoled cardboard map instead of just
a foldable paper.

Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
Yeah, so your box would be a little bigger, but
it'd be just a better quality I think when people
got ahold of it.

Speaker 4 (01:12:40):
So yeah, yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
A pretty cool idea. I'm glad we inspired you. Oh
that's kind of neat to know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
Are the maps going to be decided?

Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
That's a good question, I mean right now, And we
have two maps created, so I did to double check.
I didn't plan to do double sided maps, but I
have two maps. I don't see why why not add
them to the actual core game?

Speaker 8 (01:13:07):
Right?

Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
You slip around and they're different, to be honest, maybe
quite frank Right, the map itself does not impact the
gameplay too much. It's artwork for the game, right, it's visuals,
So the map itself won't have like different terrain. Since
you're doing a dog fight right in the air, there's
not much many obstacles. There is a conversation I had

(01:13:28):
with some people at the boarding conventions. I said, hey,
I mean, you've got buildings on your map, why don't
you make them obstacles and you know, if you have
to go around them.

Speaker 8 (01:13:37):
I was like, I.

Speaker 5 (01:13:38):
Love the idea, and it's definitely something I can do.
But I don't want to overwhelm new gamers as well. Right,
I think the game was complex enough for new beginners
to come and play it, and if I started adding
too many obstacles and other things in the map, I
think they will feel overwhelmed. So I think it'll be

(01:14:01):
a good start for people to kind of get familiar
with the game, I understand how to play it, and
maybe even include different tokens in there. The Hey, there's
a building there. Put these obstacles on A, B and C.

Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:14:15):
Do you have like cloud coverage or obstacles but you
already got the obstacle part.

Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
I say cloud.

Speaker 7 (01:14:22):
Coverage would be kind of interesting because you could maybe
see through it, But then you know.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
You're trying to keep it simple for new people.

Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
You could add if it goes good for you, could
always do expansions to it, you know what I mean,
offering different things, more maps or whatever.

Speaker 8 (01:14:42):
But I still noticed.

Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Sorry go ahead, Oh I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
I Sill just says, depending on how to cost the game,
hobbyists will pay more if you use good products by writers.

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
Show was in nineteen ninety five, so pretty old.

Speaker 8 (01:14:56):
He says, Oh, I think over in diapers back then
I did not see it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:01):
Yeah, well, yeah, that sounds pretty cool. And the fact
that you're thinking about dinosaurs, that's another thing everybody likes
to so.

Speaker 5 (01:15:14):
And the thing here, just touching back on the cloud
coverage and divisibility and all that, when I started looking
into Wings of Glory, is there's altitude in there. I
did not want to mess with altitude. It makes a
whole different monster of the game, which is good, right,
A lot more tactics, a lot more rules. If you're
under shooting a dragon from the underbelly might be a

(01:15:36):
little bit eitherer maybe to hit them or from the top.
But I did not want to mess with altitude and
and that kind of thing just yet. So it might
be in the future kind of mess around with those rules.
And I knew, let's say, an advanced core set of rules, uh,
that you can do with the already core game, just
you know, here are the new rules. You already have
the game. I'm just h you can play the advanced mode,

(01:15:57):
but I didn't want to mess it with it shift yet, right,
it was something a little bit too or a bit
two more uh advanced for newcomers to handle. The thing
is here, visibility and all that kind of thing. The
attack card they do come numbers from zero to three.
So even though you got hit twice, it's the same thing.
Right you reveal the card, let's check if I got

(01:16:19):
hit or not.

Speaker 8 (01:16:19):
You don't know. It could be a zero, it could
be a.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Three, so that's good.

Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
That's the one thing that was cool about aglory is
you didn't know how much damage that hit actually dealt
the other person. It could be zero three or just
there's an explosion icon in there where you're just done
if it if you drew that card, the plane was destroyed.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
It used to be what.

Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
Oh, yeah, that's what we were talking about. High school
says obstacles could be terrain you place on there to
keep it as an option like at it in more
advanced gameplay later you could do that too. Yes, that's
kind of how wings The glory is that it's very basic.

(01:17:09):
You're gonna fly, pick your maneuvers and shoot, but you
could do altitude and then you have there's little cards
where there's gun crews on the bottom.

Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
You can have electrical issues fires.

Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
It's a it's a game that's set to where you
can pick it up a basic play, but then people
who are used to those kind of games.

Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Can pick it up and play it at a much
harder level.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
So I think you got a good idea to just
do this and then but then think about the expansions
because your hardcore gamers would be like, yeah, this is cool,
but you.

Speaker 1 (01:17:45):
Know they would they might really like it.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
So if it takes off and does good, you might
you might want to think about what you could add
for an expansion, because kickstarter things can go phenomenal, you.

Speaker 8 (01:17:57):
Know what I mean? And I can really agree with you.

Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
I mean, especially for people that actually play these kind
of games. There's a lot more competent games like that.
So thinking about options for somebody who's looking at this
for something a little bit more advanced as a as
a kickstart, let's say, of different pledge level, that is
definitely something I've been considering.

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
That would be cool. Will you you figure it out?

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
I think you got a good formula of what you're
doing and the fact that you're listening to what the
people playing the game that's phenomenal and you're you're adjusting it.

Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
So it's a good idea anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
It's because no matter what idea you have, if someone
else another set of eyes.

Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
It's always good. It's always good to do that.

Speaker 11 (01:18:39):
So four ice Wolf, I tell them to check the
bottom at the bar at the bottom of the screen,
see if it's all the way over for for ice Wolf,
because you're saying it's about three minutes behind.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
Yeah, so hey ice Woolf. They're probably just checking the
signal at the border.

Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
And that's another.

Speaker 5 (01:19:03):
Right, And I think I swoll have had a different question.
I'm looking at my screen over there. I think I
might have missed answering now on how many woes wounds, sorry,
a medium dragon can take and stuff like that. Right,
just going back to that one, I think I'm gonna
missed it. Each dragon, the light in the medium have
the same health points and the larger dragon has I

(01:19:25):
believe four more. So the difference between the light and
the medium or movement. The light has a lot more
movement than the medium, and the medium I have to
believe can carry more more weapons, and the heavy is
more life points, less movement, but wounds, I think they're
about ten and no, ten twelve and fourteen actually, oh, no,

(01:19:47):
ten twelve and fourteen.

Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
That would be good. That'd be just like agory.

Speaker 2 (01:19:52):
They got like twelve fourteen to fifteen hits on a
plane that works, and it'd be real easy to get those. Well,
yes and no, it depends on.

Speaker 5 (01:20:05):
Right. And the other good thing is, for example, with
the light ones, both of their abilities are come with
movement speed I guess, and the light could choose to
evade one attack per round, meaning every three movement cards.
So if you activate that successfully, they would dodge that
attack and not take the damage card at all.

Speaker 8 (01:20:26):
That helps them a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:20:28):
But again you have to roll the I think it's
like five or six. If not, you take damage as
it comes, and then you have that that small uh
a chance that that attack might be a zero or
it could be a three.

Speaker 8 (01:20:39):
You know, it's different. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:20:42):
And the other thing is also the what's called the equipment.
When we come back to armor, if you decide to
sacrifice let's sake, space in your dragon for armor, you
could probably add a couple of a couple points of
health points to your dragon. It's just one or two.
It's not a lot, but it helps, trust me, it does.

(01:21:02):
It makes a big difference in the game.

Speaker 2 (01:21:04):
Well, just one point can mean the end of your
dragon or not so exactly one point does make a difference, sir.

Speaker 7 (01:21:10):
Oh, Now with movement wise, is it you said there's
three movements. Is it movement attack, movement attack or is
it movement movement movement in an attack.

Speaker 8 (01:21:22):
No, it's movement attack then movement attack, movement attack.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
Okay, so each round will have three attacks.

Speaker 5 (01:21:32):
Yeah, three attack basics, well, one attack faith per per movement.

Speaker 10 (01:21:39):
So it's a movement first in an attack, but it's
all simultaneously.

Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
Just yeah, yeah, that would be good. I think you're
gonna do good. Like I said several times, it just
sounds like a good concept. Then you're kind of based
on something that already works very well.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Anyways.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
Uh and people love dragons again, so well, so you
haven't a problem with this, I haven't really good great.

Speaker 8 (01:22:06):
I think the game is awesome. I mean I made it.
I'm just kidding. The game is good. I trust me.
I wouldn't make something that I wouldn't play myself.

Speaker 5 (01:22:15):
That's that's my goal, right, making something fun for myself
and the family and trying.

Speaker 8 (01:22:19):
To get it out there. But it's the main concern here.

Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
My main concern is just trying to get the reach
that I'm trying to get to, right, I can't get
it locally, I want to get it out there as well.
So that's that's the main challenge for me, to get
the reach, get the people to get to know it,
learn it, love it. I was planning on going somewhere
one of the board game conferences they have, but it's
a little price for me. Hopefully in the future. Maybe

(01:22:44):
I think it's a November their event, So I'm looking
into it. I don't know just yet because it is
closer to one thousand dollars for me to show the game.
So I was like, I don't know, I'll think about it. Yeah,
I was, yeah, And it's just a short right, I'm
not selling anything, and just yet, just trying to get
people to know it. So I'm trying to, hey, you
know what, maybe let's go let's try to get this online,

(01:23:06):
try to get as many people as I can, get
eyes on this, try to get the game possible, send
out to different YouTubers, different reviewers.

Speaker 8 (01:23:13):
I did reach out to people in the UK.

Speaker 5 (01:23:15):
I have confirmation for some people that want to review
it in Pennsylvania, I believe, and so I'm trying to
get that out the right, get the word, get the
marketing that I need.

Speaker 1 (01:23:24):
Well, yeah, you've got you You've got to get it
out and spread it around so you can always say
to us, we're good. Oh you guys.

Speaker 5 (01:23:32):
You guys have a copy already for female. You guys
were a big, a big honest, I'm not gonna lie,
like I said. When I saw your video, I was like.

Speaker 8 (01:23:37):
Hey, man, that game looks awesome. So I was like,
and that that's really where we really started.

Speaker 1 (01:23:42):
Wow, we're very well. We appreciate that. Yeah, that made
our week right there.

Speaker 8 (01:23:48):
Man, that was bugging guys so much.

Speaker 2 (01:23:50):
Man, that's why I thought, well, that's why I said.
I thought something had to come up. Yeah, you know,
and so we just kind of chatted waiting to see
if you were able to make it. So it's all good,
I suppose, says So can two dragons die at the
same time.

Speaker 1 (01:24:08):
I guess that'd be.

Speaker 7 (01:24:09):
Like a collision ice or just in general, I mean technically, yeah,
if you drawl the right amount of damage.

Speaker 5 (01:24:19):
Yep, So either way, right, it could be in a
collusion like you said, or it could be just romal attack.
And so if the help points drop and you guys
both kind of died, right, it has happened where oh,
I killed you and then like I talked to you
to check your damage cars.

Speaker 8 (01:24:33):
And they both died.

Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
We got two dragons out and one was remaining and
he was like on the other side of them mat
for whatever reason.

Speaker 8 (01:24:39):
But it happens.

Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
Well that that even makes it. That makes it cool too.
So this is this is just gonna be a fuf
fun you don't know what's gonna happen game.

Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
So that's I'm looking forward to it. Man. Like I said,
I think you'll do good. As far as spreading the.

Speaker 3 (01:24:57):
Work, I'm definitely gonna have to look up for some
dragon if.

Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
You if you have, do you have a promotional a
little like promotional video of your of the game tivan
or are you gonna do a little promotional video like
one minute what's the game about?

Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Kind of thing?

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
Or if you did something like that and get on YouTube.
You're free to go to our Cameras of Coffee Facebook
group post it there and then I'll share it over
to my page.

Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
If you have a link for it or something like that,
let me know.

Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
We got not a ton, but we got like three
thousand roughly people on TikTok. I'll stick it over there too,
and try to spread the work for you.

Speaker 8 (01:25:40):
Sounds great, man, Thank you appreciate it. I don't have
a video, just yeah for it.

Speaker 5 (01:25:44):
I'll be trying to post some things here and there
and on on what's called on Instagram. I believe that's
where I'm a little bit more active. TikTok was a
little bit I don't know. I haven't gotten on board
one hundred percent with that that that app just.

Speaker 8 (01:25:56):
Yet, but I'll have something.

Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
TikTok is interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
People don't have a very large attention span, so not anymore.
But if you've got something that's roughly around a minute
and you can put it up and just get that
out there, people in general are more inclined to watch
a shorter version of an introduction to something than a
very long one because just attention span.

Speaker 5 (01:26:20):
Yeah yeah, it is surely spent attention back from my
point of view. So but I'll definitely truyn and get
something out there for Taketok as well. I think it's
just posting pictures and they got some good audience. But
Instagram is kind of where I've been posting a little
bit more. But on if I got something, I'll let
you guys know, all.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Right, Minnie Warmont says, oh, man, I can see some
serious expansions to this game. Get some ground air attacks
and your expansions like the movie Rain of Fire.

Speaker 8 (01:26:49):
I see you, guys. Sorry to change the topic. You
guys are looking at my other my profile game development. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
I don't have anything for for Iron Scole on YouTube yet.
I haven't uploaded any videos about it or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (01:27:08):
Well, I'll subscrive to both of them.

Speaker 7 (01:27:12):
So let's get you guys. You know, everyone that's watching,
even up on uh our podcasts, will leave a comment
up in.

Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
The Yeah, I'll put.

Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
This show.

Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
I take all the audio and I put.

Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
It on the podcast. So the podcast on like Spotify,
I art radio. It's just it's everywhere. So we'll put
that up. And Keegan says he's attaching that troop to
his dragon's tail, so he has a tail gunner.

Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:27:43):
Oh, there you go, man. That sounds awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
Man, Yeah, there you go, Kegans.

Speaker 2 (01:27:48):
You got people here who are looking forward to that
already too. So I spoke many warm out there, many
warm on especially.

Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
He likes all sorts of different kind of games.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
So oh if he'll share the game with his friends another.

Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Yeah, so.

Speaker 8 (01:28:08):
You appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:28:10):
I'm glad you're able to make it on island so
because people here will spread the word for you too, so.

Speaker 5 (01:28:17):
Of course, And I don't know if you guys have
any other questions or anything for me.

Speaker 8 (01:28:21):
Uh, I mean, I'll be glad to talk about that.

Speaker 5 (01:28:23):
I can talk about this for hours, trust me, how
to do it for six eight hours straight?

Speaker 8 (01:28:27):
I have convince it.

Speaker 5 (01:28:28):
So let me know if you guys anything else you
guys might want to know about the game itself, mechanics,
it's all there. I can definitely share with you guys
the draft of the manual as well. I'm put that
on the kickstarter on you know, the how to play
Manuel so people can actually understand a little bit more
besides just a quick pre launch pad.

Speaker 1 (01:28:47):
Now with like.

Speaker 7 (01:28:47):
Your manual or rule book, is it like a thick
book or is it gonna be a couple of pages?

Speaker 5 (01:28:53):
It's actually I believe six seven about seven pages okay, yeah,
it's it's not too heavy really, and it's like half
of it is images so you can locate everything on
the cards. It'll explain what each icon on the cards
are and the event. I'm sorry, the effects, so it's
not too heavy. There's like fifty percent images, fifty percent

(01:29:15):
actual words, but it's about seven many pages.

Speaker 1 (01:29:18):
Understand.

Speaker 5 (01:29:20):
Yeah, yeah, like I said, right, my kid six years old.
She actually almost beat us. All though it's pretty easy
to pick on.

Speaker 2 (01:29:27):
That's fun though. That makes it fun when you're Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:29:29):
I when my our oldest granddaughter played wings Lawyer when
we first got it, I would not play with her
because she would like, literally get behind you know, exactly
where you were going.

Speaker 2 (01:29:39):
I know she attest to that because she flew. He
thought he'd just keeps circling. So she kept She just
stayed on tell and shot it down.

Speaker 1 (01:29:48):
She just kept.

Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Yeah, all her moves were circles, and that's what he
thought if he just kept circling. They didn't realize that's
what the kid was thinking. I bet he's gonna circle.
So there you go, but you just couldn't get away.
Sometimes it works out, but sometimes it becomes like a
traffic jam because you just don't know literally, And.

Speaker 7 (01:30:08):
Those are the games I like where you have to
actually go in and predict what your partner or opponent it.

Speaker 2 (01:30:19):
Yeah, very good, See, so you got some good ideas. Therefore,
expansions to it if you want to keep them in.
I think you could do it quite a bit with
it as it goes. But I agree with you man
keeping it simple for people to get on board with
and learn.

Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
That's key.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
That's key to any of these table talk games, I think,
because some are just you know, like I wouldn't take
somebody and say, oh, you want to learn tabletalk games
and dump.

Speaker 1 (01:30:47):
Them into Warhead. Oh no, you know, you just can't.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
You've got to give them something to work towards that
to where when they got to it, they could understand
they had a background or something upkind of understanding it.
So my go to, like I said, all along, spen
Wings the glory to get people intip just because mechanics,
and I think you've got a real good idea with
this because it's similar, it's gonna be easy for people

(01:31:14):
to pick up.

Speaker 1 (01:31:15):
But you got a lot of interest in these hardcore.

Speaker 2 (01:31:17):
Gamers too, So I bet you you're gonna your expansions.
You just really consider if you can do it, especially
if it takes off really well for you and you
can't expect hope it does.

Speaker 1 (01:31:28):
Yeah, because I mean, we'll buy it. I have no
problem with that.

Speaker 8 (01:31:33):
Good to hear.

Speaker 5 (01:31:34):
I'm very happy you guys are kind of interested in
the concept in the game itself so well, kind of
the inspiration. And we're all kicked off so thinking, I'm
glad you got that game as well.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
Oh cool, well I'll get you my address, but then
your expansions we would buy. So we like dragons and
we like that type of mechanics already.

Speaker 1 (01:31:53):
To us, this would be a fun game, especially with
the kids too.

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
So family is the number one to me and hers
our number one most important thing in life, right because.

Speaker 3 (01:32:06):
No matter what our families, your family is first.

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
Is that right, So having a game you can sit
down and play at the kids that's fun like this too,
is another kind of breath of fresh air because you
can't do that with every single game, you know, and
very few games homicide, you good things like that, but
those are not they're not complicated types of games. And

(01:32:31):
so I can see I can see the kids getting
into this too pretty well.

Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
So I think you're kind of covering everybody's base. Parents.

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
A lot of us do want to spend time with
the kids or the grandkids, you know, because one day
they grow up that six year old one day, we'll
be bringing their grandkid to you. I have it.

Speaker 1 (01:32:48):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
And so you've got to enjoy the time that you
got with them while you can't.

Speaker 3 (01:32:56):
Oh, I like dragons enough three D printed.

Speaker 4 (01:33:00):
Listen light fraiy there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:33:04):
She's got that up by the in living around fireplace.

Speaker 8 (01:33:09):
Looks awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:33:11):
So you have three D printer then painted.

Speaker 1 (01:33:14):
So yeah, that three D printer we have.

Speaker 3 (01:33:18):
I've printed everything from dinosaurs to.

Speaker 8 (01:33:26):
Your I can definitely believe you that you got your
prints all over.

Speaker 5 (01:33:30):
I got one recently and I started getting to warhammer
out so many prints everywhere right now.

Speaker 8 (01:33:35):
And the dragons of course, oh yeah, I did see
that one on on on the is an amazing dropping
it though it looks really good.

Speaker 1 (01:33:46):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
Yeah, I should put a lot of time into it.
So anything you can do to a game with the
family is absolutely a good deal. But I don't think
I don't see any other question. Oho, they all seem to.

Speaker 1 (01:34:01):
Be pretty excited about. Thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
Yeah, I can't wait to get ahold of it. I
think it'll be a good deal, sir. In any time,
you want to my room in here and do some
more promoting or updates.

Speaker 5 (01:34:16):
Just let me know, man, of course, appreciate it, all right,
I'm glad to be here.

Speaker 8 (01:34:21):
Man, thank you for inviting me and giving me this time.
Kind of talk about it.

Speaker 1 (01:34:25):
Oh, you're welcome. You appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:34:27):
You're a good guy, doing a good game, and you
care about your family.

Speaker 1 (01:34:30):
We can tell.

Speaker 2 (01:34:31):
So you're welcome anytime. Man, we will whatever you want
us to promote, will just send it. Well, we'll put
out whatever we can for you, most definitely.

Speaker 5 (01:34:43):
All right, Ivan, perfect, all right, you're welcome.

Speaker 8 (01:34:52):
Thank everybody. Thank you guys, Wolf and I'll hope you'll
see you guys around. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:35:03):
He's a good guy. I like that. I like the
concept of the game. I think it would be a
cool concept.

Speaker 2 (01:35:11):
I think it's gonna I think he's gonna do pretty
well with it, you guys, so if he does, when
he does send us the copy, we will most definitely
put it out for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
Thank you, Havan. We really appreciate you making it to
the show. And man, I wish him the best of
luck with that. I think it's gonna be a good
look at nice game.

Speaker 1 (01:35:40):
Yep Ice Will says, keep the rules a big kid friendly.

Speaker 2 (01:35:43):
I always see they don't I have at the model
run on the board to play another day.

Speaker 7 (01:35:49):
And uh.

Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
Yeah, I think I think it's gonna do very well
on a family level too, because some games they you know,
you guys, are just not you can't appropriate, inappropriate in
sum are just way too just over the top bad,
That's all I can say. And I love games, but

(01:36:12):
there's just some I'm like, yeah, no, we'll stay away
from this or that because of the things in it.
And so it's nice to just see a good, decent game,
a wholesome game that you can have fun with, especially
the fact that you're not going to know what the
other person's move is.

Speaker 1 (01:36:29):
That's cool.

Speaker 7 (01:36:33):
Honored that he happened to come across one of our
games that we played.

Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
Yeah, I feel I feel really good about that. He
said it inspired him. I'm like, that's that makes it
all worthwhile. It's nice nice to hear that. Yeah, yeah,
very cool.

Speaker 7 (01:36:54):
You do my hair I'm starting to get dark again? Yeah,
well yeah, but you mean no, I'm a lady. I
gotta look younger, not older. Don't even you already do
that to me once?

Speaker 1 (01:37:14):
That's all good, It's all good.

Speaker 2 (01:37:17):
Anyways, we appreciate you guys showing up too and hanging
around because it was nice that he was able to
get on. So very cool. It's on Kickstarter. It's iron Scales,
uh Is said, kind of the link.

Speaker 7 (01:37:32):
So if you go back and look for my thing,
you take the two spaces out and put dots in it, periods,
whatever you want to call it.

Speaker 2 (01:37:39):
And even if yeah, even if you can't find the link,
it's just Kickstarter.

Speaker 1 (01:37:44):
And then once you get there iron iron scales scales.

Speaker 2 (01:37:49):
Yeah, Telika says, go for a haha, that would be funny.

Speaker 1 (01:37:58):
Then we could call her Ashley, right like Rainbow Bright.

Speaker 7 (01:38:02):
But remember what I said when we were right almost
that a thousand people.

Speaker 3 (01:38:10):
You got a hair dye coming up two?

Speaker 1 (01:38:14):
Yeah, I will pull.

Speaker 2 (01:38:15):
It back up, but I didn't back me up.

Speaker 1 (01:38:21):
You didn't have to agree. I made it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:28):
So long as you're not painted blue and get crazy, because.

Speaker 7 (01:38:33):
Actually I did do my hair blue one year. It
didn't last very long. Not a good move, no, because
it turned green when it started fading. Yeah, never again.

Speaker 1 (01:38:45):
Besides, you're not a smirf. No, that's your space Marines.
You could go the smurs all you want a lot
of people call them smurfs.

Speaker 2 (01:39:00):
Smeers with flame towers that uh you know, still get
their butt kicked. Hot, pink haired, sure, oh, don't do
something to dress everyone's oh, Ivan says, currently is hair.

(01:39:21):
His wife's hair is pink and purple. I could see
that like the layered pink, the layered hair. But I'm
just saying pink is not gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:39:33):
Look good for me. Are how old is she? Eleven? Well?
Who kenna?

Speaker 3 (01:39:41):
She has a pekaboo basically, and she wanted the same color.

Speaker 7 (01:39:43):
She dies at the same underneath about half of it
underneath is all the same color as mine.

Speaker 1 (01:39:49):
He gets says space burst.

Speaker 2 (01:39:53):
Yeah, no, I I know I'm a little born on
uh the space breens, but they're that's who they are,
and that's their color is blue.

Speaker 1 (01:40:02):
So people can call them spurs. But there's you know,
some heavy armor.

Speaker 7 (01:40:06):
So smirs with attitude, Yeah, more like smirs with attitude.

Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
Yeah, thank you, I having again.

Speaker 1 (01:40:15):
Yes, we really appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:40:16):
We appreciate it. And uh, if you heard the comments,
we just think it's you know, you're gonna do good.
It's a nice game and it's gonna function well. So
looking forward to that. Man as far as Ashley saying
that there's some video I'd never agreed to die anything.

Speaker 7 (01:40:36):
I will go back through all our lives. It was
either close to one thousand or close to two thousand people.

Speaker 1 (01:40:43):
Who die in my hair. I'm good. I earned everything
I got.

Speaker 7 (01:40:46):
I will get our three year old to say, pop up,
we need to dye your hair, and you will do it.

Speaker 2 (01:40:56):
That's mean you can't you can't use very against me.
But yeah, I don't know. It's been a it's been
a good, good week so far. So we're gonna go
ahead and end to show you guys it's heading towards
six and we appreciate all of you showing up every week. Always,

(01:41:19):
always is a good ending to the week and a
good start to the beginning next week. Next week is
gonna be fun to Tuesday. We should be like, they
get to do all that cutting on my mouth there
and we'll get that out of the way.

Speaker 3 (01:41:33):
And so look at our Facebook. I'll take pictures no.

Speaker 1 (01:41:39):
Goofba. Yeah she might she might take pictures. I don't know.
That would be for like behind the scenes only fans
or something.

Speaker 3 (01:41:48):
You know, he could be hurting and still be doing stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:41:53):
Well, I swell says this space little metallic face ship
blue and green because I love the color.

Speaker 1 (01:41:59):
It's my first sight army, so need to be metallic.
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
That color shifting paint is really some some nice thing.

Speaker 1 (01:42:06):
It is if you can find a good one.

Speaker 2 (01:42:08):
Oh yeah, well the why I did the dragon with
until the dragon ended up breaking.

Speaker 1 (01:42:15):
Yeah, but it was it was purple with wasn't it
green and purple? It wasn't purple like you think, like
gaudy purple.

Speaker 2 (01:42:24):
It was more of a greenish and purple hue.

Speaker 1 (01:42:28):
So when you turned it, the dragon just kind of.

Speaker 7 (01:42:31):
Looked like hyper shifts. That's what it is. That It
was more of like a hyper shift. Yeah, where when
you turn it in the light, it will become a
different color.

Speaker 2 (01:42:43):
Yeah, it's a color. It's their color shifting paints. But
it did really work well. I just have never done
that with the space brains. Good Tuesday, I Will, says.
I hope it doesn't hurt much. Oh no, not man

(01:43:05):
paint hurts more than female pain.

Speaker 1 (01:43:07):
No, you guys just cry too much.

Speaker 2 (01:43:09):
That's what it is, generally by ourselves under a desk
or something. But yeah, it's uh, I'm lucky Ice well
because everybody normally has one nerve.

Speaker 1 (01:43:19):
I have two to three. And they had said that
I'm like an odd ball. They rarely do they see that.
It's it's pretty rare.

Speaker 2 (01:43:27):
So that's why things are much more painful for me
than the average versus.

Speaker 1 (01:43:33):
I guess I'm lucky. I got more nervedance. I guess yeah.
Ice Will says, every brand name is it different? But
they look cool. They are, They are all really cool.
But color shifts are good for certain things.

Speaker 2 (01:43:51):
All right, Telemachus, you have a good evening, Ivan Kegan,
Ice Wolf, they warm ut. Charles little Methos. Yeah, everybody listening.
Hex if you're still there, Jeff Chris, if you're still there,
I know. Well I got to leave. But thank you guys.

(01:44:12):
We'll see you next Sunday, four pm Central. Take care
of you, guys and have some fun. We'll see you
