Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hello, you guys, welcome back to the Sunday Show. Here
we got Clint. Clint West is hiding in the corner
here I am, and so real quick. For all you
guys on the podcast that are gonna listen, I'm gonna
do some unboxing and even some opening up some card decks.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
So you might want to.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Watch this show later when you get a chance, but
we do appreciate you listening if you want. Oh, there's
actually checking things. That's me in the background there. It's
Greg in the lead stereo. Yeah, it's me in stereo.
How how does that sound?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
I don't know. It's almost too much. Right, Ashley's not
gonna say anything.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
So Clint has brought some stuff and we're gonna switch
over to the other camera in a couple of minutes here.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
And let him start explain him right, mostly your stuffs.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Well, he brought stuff though, Hello, Charles, how are you?
We're just gonna hang out for a minute or two, sir,
and wait for a few other people to hop on,
and then Clint his back. He did ask me to
take this thing off that shocked him when he refused
to come, but I can't. It's an implant. So he's
just gonna have to show up. Hey, jam Jar, how
(01:21):
are you, sir. We're gonna do some unboxing over here,
a couple different things. We're just giving everybody a couple
of minutes to come in. But it's nice to see
you here again, sir. And yeah, Charles, we got started
just a little bit early.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Late.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Oh yeah, you know, don't want to be late. Well,
we try not to be late, so we got telnicus. Hello, sir,
greetings to you two. Didn't mean to scare you by
being early. See last week we were like two minutes late.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
So just now this roughly usually on time.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Generally, but usually this kind of can't always be well
then people would expect it.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Right exactly, and we can't do that.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
I'm glad to hear. You're doing good, Jim jarm. So far,
so good. Just enjoying the last day on my weekend
and then work tomorrow. Yeay, yay for work. Other than that,
we're doing good so far. And Ashley I think.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Walked out, but that's okay. She'll be back. But we've
got a couple of things. One is the World of
Tank Games.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
If you guys have heard of that, you know it's
on Xbox and gil Force nine makes the tabletop tank version.
They also make the card version. Oh and Ashley wanted
to show you Beth.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
So this is Beth.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
You're not trying to replace Jesse. We knew she was
gonna die for quite some time. But when you go
out hunting, you kind of need a dog. It's a
little hard to do it on your own. So interestingly,
this just happened to come across us a couple of
days ago. So, yeah, she watched herself.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
She is. She's like, who's wait, She's like, why is
he over there?
Speaker 1 (03:28):
And Charles says, there's alarm, reminded me to watch your
show just went off.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
So yeah, we're early. Good job.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Wow, the night Boy kicks in whenever there's an X
amount of comments, which already is thank you for the comments. Yeah,
so she's uh, the newest edition to the family. There.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
She's cute, not as cute as me and.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Clint, but the dog can try. Dang, I forgot to
adjust the night bought things last week.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Ashley.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Well that's your job.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, I know it is, so go ahead and get
your official mug because they're kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
I have to get Clint one.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
That's jacked up. Huh, we'll get him the one that's
jacked up.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
The squirrel and captain with his hair standing up. We
should do that for him.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
All right, there's enough of you here, I guess, So
what do we? I'm gonna let Clint explain some of
this World of Tanks game because he knows more. Chris, Chris,
how are you, sir?
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Hold on? Let me find this other camera, give me
a chance, ye girl, jeez.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay, so we're gonna start off with World of Tanks
card game.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Now, Clint.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Got a pack for me, which I'm very grateful for.
It's the uh German pack. What you're seeing, which is
what you're seeing there?
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yea, the German starter box basically.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, so this game, and interestingly, I'm gonna let Clint
explain it. But everything to play comes in everything to
play comes in one little box there. You just pick
which faction, right you got?
Speaker 2 (05:20):
So for now there's all the Americans and Germans.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Oh yeah, but the Soviets haven't come out yet, not
official decks. Okay, well they will because the Soviets are
pretty popular.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
So sorry about the phone there, I'm just turning it down.
Oh yeah, she's uh she's a very sweet little dogg.
But let's see we try to get rid of some
of that glare.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
I don't know, it's not gonna matter.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, well I'm gonna move stuff around anyway. So there's
there's the size of the box. I mean, it's it's
bigger than you're in standards starter box, depending on which game.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
So go ahead, Clint, you can pull it apart. Let's
see what's in there.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
So this is your German starter box, which we've just
opened the box, but I open the American box. Is
the same.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Configuration disclaimer, there's no Germans in it.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yeah. Sorry. The nice thing I've actually found about these
is you get your standard rule book. We do that
rule book tokens a lot of tokens. In this one,
you get your deck, your starter deck, and it comes
with a booster back, which most of them don't come
with a booster back. So that's kind of nice to
(06:38):
just kind of something you can add to it.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Well, it is cool that you've got the you've got
a rule book right off the bat. So when you
buy those boxes, you're you're good to go. Like I
could take this box and Clint could take his, and
we could go to scooters and play.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
There isn't nothing throw down and go yeah, yeah, there's
nothing else you gotta do.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Well, hello Mitos.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Mito says he is out Christmas shopping with his family.
They'll watch the playback. Have a wonderful show. Thank you, Mithos.
Go enjoy time with your family, man, that's important, So
enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Have to bring that camera down a little bit.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, some of the however you want.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Oh, there you go, that's even less. Claire, Well that's good.
I mean if we shut the light off, you can't
see it all. Then you can't see it all. I
can't see it all, so I've got hidden off to
the side here. I actually bought a booster box as well,
just because I wanted to have the extra cards and
basically collect these and whatnot. Plus, you know, anything extra
(07:45):
can go to Greg, so he'll be able to bolster
his decks too.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
This will be This looks to be pretty fun, Charles says,
because the grandson is still young. Yeah, we've said not
to get a live puppy. However, I have ordered that
new mechanical one that's out there that looks so life like,
so Grandpa will have companionship. Well, there you go, as
long as it doesn't turn on you, like you know,
the terminator eye robot. Charles wakes up to the robot
(08:14):
staring at him and it says, good evening. Charles didn't
know I could talk, did you?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Then that's when you're like panic, get rid of the robot. Okay,
I'm just laying some of the German cards. I'll just
kind of see them.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
So that looks like a pretty good deck that comes
with it inside the robot. No, not yet, she's too
young for the paint water. It shows you how to
place the cards when you're playing that. I'm sorry, that's
what I was trying to think of. So you you
know how to set the cards on the table. Basically,
(08:53):
you're going to set your tanks out, you're going to
face your opponent.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
You got an animal pile if I gonna have yeah,
you're gonna actually have to spend AMMO to do things.
The focus right, but that works pretty good. They are
the way idea on that. But so you got an
AMMO cost, which is in this case it's one. The
(09:17):
thing does one damage and has a two defense. So
and then it's got each card has special effects This
one says you're each damage a Jason vehicle to this
vehicle and has a plus one firepower, and you can
spend a victory point to remove one of your your
(09:39):
enemy's AMMO. So each card, each tank is gonna have
a different ability. High there's saying yeah, I each take
has a different ability, and it's gonna have a different ability.
We're finding the Russians seem to be cheating, yeah, and
(10:00):
the British seem to be given around give away everything.
Oh you destroyed our tank, have some AMO. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Some of the things on the cards, the effects are
are kind of interesting.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
It's interesting on how it affects the tame because some
of it generally, when you place a tank in your battlefield,
you can't move it. It's it's in that position. But
someone will let you move it depending on your spending.
Once we actually figure out how to play, get it,
you know, get the feel for it, then we can
do some you know, videos of playing. But really it's
(10:35):
kind of a neat I think it's a neat investment
because you're not spending a ton the booster box with
seventeen dollars or the starter box.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Seventeen bucks everything to play the card everything to play, and.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Then you get a booster pack with it, which I'm
not going to open that. Like Greg, you open that
booster pack?
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Hello, walk about how are you? We're just talking about
the well the tanks card game.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Got to make sure she doesn't eat anything but her bone.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah. Sorry, while we're discussing everything, I'm gonna undew show
them your box you got there? Yeah, I slid the box.
And then then here's some of the the base card stuff.
So these are considered base cards. You build a base by,
you know, base being where you keep your tanks and
stuff with these.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Do you want me open you can?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Look, I don't care. You got a million. I mean
you got a whole box on the twenty four in
there and forty cards in there. Show them you're and
then there we'll have some of the some of the
other tanks.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
The glare off, it's the glare, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Because so you're gonna have different different factions. So just
like World of Tanks, you can have multiple different countries
tanks in your battle or in your deck, but you
have to have a primary force for example. So it's
(12:08):
just kind of an interesting thing. And he said we'll
see more of this. We'll show you more. Put an
underneath there and unopen it.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Like you know, you ever watch people open packs, let
them see, Oh you.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Just opened the sack. Now. These cards, these are your
base cards. They can and there are some that are
crew that can be attached to tanks. These are the
ones that are played face down and give you an
effect when they're put into play. In some cases they
just make you lose the game. Yeah, some cases.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Do you see how walk?
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (12:49):
He said hello to all of us.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Yeah, he's got my name right. Plus the artwork is
kind of funny. That does look like the tank is jumping.
Does is jumping? That's why it looks like it is
(13:12):
because it is so This is gonna be mostly World
War Two that I don't think they're gonna put anything
current in it yet. That might change later. A lot
of different countries. So all the countries that are present
in World of Tanks the video game are there are
cards with tanks for those. As I'm starting to see.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Charlsa is shiny.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
They are shiny, that is for sure. We're gonna have
a lot of tanks, a lot of tanks.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah, you probably have a bunch of.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
But yeah, that was the point. Then you guys would
have some too.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Okay, I your pile that you are gone through.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
These are just tanks, which we don't need to unbox
every booster package on camera because there is some other
stuff you wanted to show off.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Oh we got time though, we got plenty of time. Yeah,
they are they are shiny there. They can't see what
you're you're doing at all.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I'm just we're just we're just sorting what's there that
I leave left that up so you could talk or
whatever while you're we're doing that. Yeah, there's not a
lot to see with us just going through. He bought
a box booster packs, so you've already come across. This
is the third su Soviet tank that I've come.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Across the box. So there's no moms. But didn't you
have a leopard that was in the German box?
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah, that was in the German starter. Yeah. So that's
all all part of your your deck build, which I
said we should just start with. How many are there
supposed to be several? Right now?
Speaker 3 (15:07):
I got nine?
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Ye, well that's more than several gangs. I can't see
the screen there. So the reason I was showing this
one because one it's you're thieving the two if I
can get the description, I probably can't. Anyway, description says
(15:30):
immediately after revealed steal up to three Hamo tokens from
your opponent. Oh man, that would hurt. As a base card,
that would really hurt, though. There's Italians. When you lose
this tank, discard the top two cards of your deck. Ouch. Yeah,
(15:51):
I'm noticing that some of these are not happy for
you as well. Two J Tigers Kay, oh yeah, that's
probably gonna be a pretty common one too. You only
have three of any one tank in your deck, so yeah,
there's gonna be extras, but probably isn't it. Three to
(16:12):
Now you put three cards out lined up up to
five tanks in the battlefield, and then you've got five
three tanks in your your base, and then you've got
your AMMO, which are just faced down cards that you
cap for AMMO. Okay, some of this stuff will make
(16:40):
a lot more sense once we get into play and
you can see how to utilize it. But that sounds
like the dog or British Tank, British Heavy Tank and
(17:08):
enemy vehicle gains victory point, victory tokens, repair one of
your vetles, prepare one of your fix one of your vehicles.
Whenever your opponent wins something.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Or the cards, put where the deck boxes on the table.
It should be perfect. They want to see some of
the cards. They want to see what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Ash, you can just swing the camera. Yeah, so you
can just move the camera. She's just sorting by tanks
by country. Okay, this super Conqueror is gonna be nasty.
So if you spend zero victory points, move that one
a little bit up. Sorry, Sure, the shine is on
(17:48):
the one. There you go. If you spend zero victory
points somewhat, each player removes all of their AMMO tooken
Oh Boy.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Charles says when he was addicted to Yugoh, he would
buy two booster packs every time a new set came out.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Not cheap. I'm not going crazy with this one.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Could just bought a box because you get two dozen
in their box.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
A lot of British in that one.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
What does a booster pack go for? Then? I don't know. Individually,
I think they're there are five or six ninety five.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Okay, normally they're probably.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
They're not much, but they're so new. A lot of
the stores don't even carry this. I mean I had
to order this special, so Rich isn't even going to
carry it. I mean it might because I ordered it,
but I mean the booster box was one hundred and
ten is what I paid for.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
It for the whole box, and that that's not for
the box.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
That's it, and that's about right for a box of boosters.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
So walk About said he didn't mean to move the
camera where the box was. He could read the box perfect,
just kind of put the stuff by the box because
in other words, we're just talking.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
They can't see anything.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, it's not it's not glare right there, and.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
There's not anything I do.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
If I turn the light off, it's gonna be too dark.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Actually, just where the glaris. But that then we know.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Russian, Russian.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Well, Charles, it should be it should be. Okay, this
is gonna be an interesting I mean it's a deck
building game.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Something quick, easy, you know, fast. But but Clint was.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Looking at we were talking about this is something we
could just literally walk up, go back to the coffee shop,
grab a coffee, and boom.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Literally throw it down. It's not going to be a
big undertaking. There's that's surprising for not having a Russian
starter box. There's a lot of Russia.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
Looks like Russian and America are the ones that.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Have the most.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
They're gonna have other starter box. Yeah, they will eventually.
I'm sure this will.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Oh and then British, then German and then the other countries.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, there's gonna be more. Still good eight ten, nine,
let's see, let's say nine more to open magic. The
gathering has killed my love of opening booster packs. I
(20:40):
just kind of don't care anymore. It did kill them,
and sort them, open them and sort them. Just more Germans.
It's more French.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I remember which one is the French.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
French is the.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Triangle one or.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
The French the three line Triangle one is Poland I leave.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
There's many French in there.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
No so Lemica says you guys that kazoo takes up
even less space and might provide endless entertainment.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
He doesn't trust me. It could, I.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Guess, depend on how much you were what you were
drinking for the night, You know what I mean? Walk
about us, Charles. If his area has power issues, I.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Don't know.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
In our area, it's gonna it's gonna be warm.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
This week we had bitter, ridiculous for this time of year,
and tons of snow and the sound then it's all
gonna get.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
No, that sounds like something else.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
But then now this week it's gonna be up in
the fifties, so it's just gonna.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Be yeah, Christmas Day's fifty three.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Yeah, so it's gonna should melt a lot of the
snow off. And we've had rain and it's been just
very weird. All the Washington if you guys, have looked
and solid, and a lot of them towns underwater, lots
and lots of people's homes washed away, devastation. And it's
interesting how unless the devastation affects us directly, most people
don't even know what's happening. But it's there's a lot
(22:10):
going on. Man, We're just very fortunate that we're all
in areas where we haven't had a massive catastrophes. It
was a coffee shop reference. Oh hmm, well, I guess
I could see us playing the.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Kazoo at the coffee shop. They probably one of those
get all sort of organized.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Wouldn't doubt it coming from us, I guess, although, like
I said before, it's.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Kind of cool when they're younger.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
You know, the workers come in and they they don't
know what you're doing, so they ask all sorts of
questions when I've.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Gone just we used to go so much, but it
never really.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Took off anywhere, and we kind of got out of
doing it. But every once in a while we want
to go back and just do something because it was
fun to just go somewhere. And like I said, half
the time on people would come back and they would
want to know, you know, what's what's going on, what
are we playing, what are we doing? So that's fun
(23:12):
that way too. This one might be, well, you got
a lot of cards, but once you do it.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, I'm almost through all the boosters.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Charles says, not there, but Frisco has messed up. He believes, well,
power outages or not fun to deal with. I mean,
if it was two hundred years ago, we wouldn't care,
right because we wouldn't be used to it.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Certainly enough. These cards were printed in Poland.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
I'd say it says Pulling on the package made in Poland.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
I noticed more things are being made in Pulling Gameway.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
It's true. Oh yeah, but oh a foil card, oil card,
a fancy card. I didn't even know they had foil cards.
I might want to. Yeah, it's gonna be real hard
to see you. But tire booster box with one foil card.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
I got it.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
I want.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Well, I'll probably never use because put it up.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
It's a polling card. Go figure.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
I said, I didn't even know they had foils. Not
that that should.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Well, this whole one you gave me is predominantly all German.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
You may reposition any of your vehicles into an enemy position.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah, that's handy, that would be handy.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
This one, i'd say screwed and frame it.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I don't know that would be a that is very.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Pretty because it's got like yeah, pearl.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Almost oils are kind of cool. Not that I feel
I need to collect it all.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
But that's kind of nice though, Like you know, you're
gonna want to go and get at least one of them.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
M Storage collapse. Oh that doesn't sound good. Nearly after reveal,
each player destroys one of their AMMO depots out.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
That's gonna hurt.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, that hurts a lot.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Nothing like preparing for war and deciding to destroy your
own AMMO.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Why not? I mean, some of this really does you
do suffer?
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Okay, Charles has a question for you, Clinton. So when
you start a game, are you limited to how many
cards you can have in your deck? You know, like
Yu giah is forty cards or a card deck.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Through no more than three of each tank and only
three base cards which are not part of your deck.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
So does this one play kind of like yu gah
or Magic where you have a deck and they're flipped down.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
So you don't know what's coming up.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
No, not exactly so similar, but so the face down
stuff you know what it is because that's separate from
your deck. So the three face down base cards until
they get flipped over and then all hell breaks loose.
You will have face down cards that you use for AMMO.
It doesn't matter what that card is, that's what supplies
you with AMMO. Otherwise, your tanks or face out. So
(26:13):
you can't have more than any three more than three
of any one tank, and you can only have five
tanks out on the battlefield at one time. And depending
on the type of tank, depends on how you fight
with it. So you don't want to just throw it
down on the battlefield, because like tank destroyers can only
shoot tanks straight across from it.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
So if your tank card will say your middle card
and it destroys the one across, they can't shoot left
or right. Yeah, I mean you're kind of stuck. You're
done with that one. It should be interesting, because I
don't know, they're kinda it's.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
It's gonna take several games of play to really get
a feel for it, but I think there is definitely
looks like a pretty good strategy based on this. A
lot of Italian base cards.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Well, I'm venturing to say they're gonna have starter decks
for each country eventually, I would assume, Yeah, they're just
getting it out there, the Americans and the Germans. I'm
surprised that they didn't put the Soviet release with that,
because Russians and all these are pretty much uh.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
I'm not surprised that it started German American.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
That well, that doesn't surprise me. I'm just kind of
surprised they didn't throw no I think.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Gets sold for their next expansion. They're gonna they're gonna
test the water, how how how it sells, and how
it goes and probably know, like some card games, this
could fall on his face and no one cares and
then I'm stuck with a bunch of cards. I don't
care because you know, and then play old discontinued games
because they're fun.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
So and then five years later the fat goes into
finding nose and playing it again.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Yeah, it'll.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
So there's your answer there, Charles. Yeah, I would be
a forty card jack max though.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
And we'll get some gameplay in. We'll do some videos
of playing once we've kind of got it figured out.
I'll have some time to learn the rules. Although I
found that now that I'm not working, I'm more busier
than anything.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Well, that's because now that you're out of work, you
have time to get the other stuff done it wasn't
getting done.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
There's a lot. It's also getting a lot of things
paid that weren't getting paid because you had the money. Yeah,
but trying not to run out of money in the process. Yeah,
that's the joggle.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
But at least you have some time in between doing
another job able to get ahead on a lot of things,
and that that's good.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
I mean, if I was able to walk away from
work today, I'd probably be busy the first couple of
weeks just getting stuff done I need to do that.
I can't I never have time to do this.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
That would be an interesting interesting Russian cards and the
Chinese cards look almost identical. I can't, I can barely
partial because I'm blind. Think I'm getting new glasses. You
want to check the Russian cards because some of them
are actually Chinese. He might have made a mistake, as
(29:27):
here's the Russian cards, but here's the Chinese cards.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Oh ship.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Yeah, the symbol is just a little different, but they're
almost the stars. Yeah, it's almost identical. I'm like, oh wow,
this is they both have a red star. Well, they're
both red based with and everything's off to the side. Yeah,
the Soviets had the hammer and sickle where the Chinese
has the stars. But unless you look really close to
the symbols, you don't. Yeah, I don't have a lot
(29:58):
of Surprisingly, there's not a lot of because I'm like, wow,
there is a lot of rushing cards in this. Now
this makes sense, a lot of rushing A lot of
American cards, not a lot of German cards.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
I was so see people can buy the individual packs
that you hope to get enough to make a Russian
army or another army.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
You can't even tell what I mean.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Still you still got quite a bit of it. Those
are Russian, so you're still quite a bit.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Yeah, well I'm sure. Yeah, but this is all the
Russian bas cards. That was it? Four of them. I've
got a ton of American based cards and not every
many Crew cards. That's surprising.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Well, it could just be whatever packs were in that
box too, you know.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah, it's random. So I know this isn't going to
be the complete collection of cards, and I don't know
if I'll really be concerned about getting every card because
I'm not going to buy another box of boosters. I'm
not going to buy a bunch of booster packs just
hoping to get one card I need. Yeah, I'll just
have to find somebody online who's trading.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
In Telemacha says he's gonna wait for the Alien expansion.
Another glorious day in the courts. It is a fun game.
I'm not sure. Well, what would be interesting if they
(31:23):
had a Yeah, I don't know if they do or not.
Before I say anything, I guess I don't believe. So
I know they were pgs and oh, if I had
more time, we could do more, just simply get more
stuff done.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Those requires what.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
Says, Oh, yeah, kind of like your name Japanese.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
It's a Japanese. Okay, I'll show it there for Wow.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
So the French tanks, the French tanks.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Were not Oh Jesus, this ax fifty B does.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Three, says oh, yeah, I got a card.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
So nine the potential of nine damage out of this tank.
Nothing can survive that. Wow.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
You can choose up to four of your vehicles and
give them one each victory point token ye, and then
destroy the vehicle. It takes three damage? Is that?
Speaker 2 (32:23):
The damage on the shield is how much damage damage?
He the armors? How much damage it deals for a
Japanese take one of those things were thin back then? Uh?
Not only some of their heavy ones are just lack
of better term tanks.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Charles is all alien and predator. Yes, I don't either,
Telemacha says, no clue if it's still a I don't. Oh.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
He's referring to be cheaper.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
To buy play sets online, the buying boxes to get
a full set.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Well, yeah, and when the lotch that's gonna depend what
you get. Yeah, I'm gonna just have to search you
Bay for cards that I need, probably go from there
and then.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
But you gotta know exactly kind of what all of
them are? What's in each steck to know which ones?
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Oh it says they're number, they're they're all marked and
two and twenty eight cards to the set total. I
really don't care about the toils or anything that. To me,
toils always just made it hard to play.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Chris, Uh, you could have a card like a pop
up book and a chest burster. Oh yeah, for aliens, well,
Greg drew a bad card. You know, you killed us all.
I took the entire team with me, So sometimes when
you draw a card, I don't necessarily working your your favorite.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Well, we also didn't know because the way it's worded
is that you use it immediately.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Yeah, it didn't it sound like you had to play.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Yeah, but we got told that we did not have
to play that technically.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
But either way, I know from experience, mm hmm, but
that's okay. I just didn't want to go out alone,
so glad it'd be nice to take the team with
me and.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
On on a journey on that.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Way after life. Yeah, pretty much wherever I didn't want
to go there alone, Clint.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
We literally wiped the whole team.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
Everybody think of that moment where Gorman and Basquez clutched
the grenade and they're in that that duck system.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
That's what Greg did to everybody.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
I mean, we were in a duck system trying to
get our fallen members back.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Got us all man, that's all I can say.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
You did take out a lot of the credit.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
You need to get a pop up card. Yeah, yeah,
was nuke the site for more ricks card? Yeah, that's
the only way to be sure. I mean he was
right when he made that statement.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
The only way to be sure. I just screwed.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Exterminaudus. That would be even more four hundred and five dollars.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
There you go, Clint, what you like twelve hundred Yeah,
so I'm going to go back and fix that. What
did you I mean, I'll definitely win the auction at
that point. But did you accidentally bid twelve dollars?
Speaker 3 (35:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah, I was trying to bed one hundred and five
and I hit one one zero five. Oh my god,
it's going to continue to bus in two hours. So
you better change that now to go back. You you
don't want to cancel that start to do it again.
It is hard to do on eBay. They make things
(35:50):
difficult anymore.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
An Exterminadus card would be would be good, better suited
for the alien stuff, if you think about it, Ptolemachus,
ain't the aliens kind of like the Tyrannids somewhat kind
of you? I don't think they have cute little face
huggers running around, but they have known little critters.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Yeah, they have their own critters. I don't know if
you considerund cute.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
I don't know. Not all of them are bad.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
My aliens walking his face hugger while staring at his
cell phone. I still want the face hugger is using
the fire hydrant, by the way, So that's that's my
little guy. I haven't showed him off for a while,
but for anyone new, yeah, Greg has an alien walking
a face hugger.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
Eventually you'll get out to my desk because you're just
running out of room over their bed.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
I literally at this point, I gotta just get this
stuff you're print for me.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Painted we still.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
Got to get the stands.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, we gotta get clear though, well we don't.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
I mean I can get clear. Flicka says, there used
to be a forty K card game. Yeah it was
not great.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Quinn says it wasn't that great, and the guy says,
do they have plushies of a face hugger.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Yes, they actually do, but they're expensive.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Actually has found them, so yes, they are out there online,
but it's gonna cost you. On the other hand, what
a great Christmas gift for a toddler.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
Yeah, if they know what it is.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yeah, I mean when the pandemic was going around, they
made that mask that looked like.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
A face hugger.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yeah, somebody somebody and the yeah, yeah, we see that
going into a pit.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
The what I found a plushy starlac pit. Oh did
you well all it looks like a pancake. And they
wanted ninety nine dollars for you. Yeah, I don't care
how rare that is. I I don't need it.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Yeah, it'll be somebody who has the money that just
throws down on it goes don't matter to me. Yeah, goodness,
I don't know that would be.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
I don't know. I guess I'd have to ask many
warm up because.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Didn't he come up with Christmas trees with teeth and
presence that it.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Was Mutt? That was cool, I admit that was Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
So I said, what a way to take a holiday
and scare the living creud out.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Of the people.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
But many warmont has that stuff. You'd have to ask him.
He knows about.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Order.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Oh, she might need to go out.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Yep, I'm going.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
It's been an hour, yeah, Bay.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
A lot of courage off to spend some time sorting
and organizing and figuring out how to play.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
And there's quite a bit of cards that really, I
mean honestly, grabbing the box while you had the money
to do it is kind of cool because you don't
have to string it out. You can sit down and
you got a box on them. You went through them.
Now you got them.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
We can open up the ones and and the German deck.
I already did. Oh did That's the first thing I
opened was the German deck?
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (39:29):
Okay, was there anything good in the it's the standard
German deck. No, I meant the foil pack.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Oh I didn't open the booster. Oh you can open
that one. I mean, no, that's yours. You open it,
see what's in there, or I don't care. I mean,
it's up to you, guys. But it's kind nice that
it includes a booster. I think for the price point
of seventeen bucks to get your deck of cards, to
(39:56):
get a rule book, and to get tokens and to
get an extra foil pack. Honestly, everything you need to
play plus ten random extra cards. I mean, these days,
anything under twenty bucks is a deal, you know, and
it would be I mean, it's cost wise, its way
(40:19):
way worth it.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
It's affordable to affordable to do.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
And that's what what we got to look at too
on our end is what can we afford to do? Yeah,
but well clint'son is in between journey from his company,
selling and all that. He's got a little bit of time.
It's probably not gonna know what to do. It's actually
doing some of your games. I haven't had time to
do much gaming stuff, to be honest. Yeah, it's so
(40:46):
busy with everything else that see what I mean. That's
what I'm saying. I could have. I could be done
working and tomorrow get up and start today, and be
busy for weeks before it got to the point where
I could say, Okay, I'm caught up or whatever, because
there's just a lot to do.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
It's just getting to the point where I can now
sit down and go okay, now I can focus on
setting the computer up like I need to stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
You know, so, well, did you got your monitor. Did
you get it set up?
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Done? But no, not to the computer. I finally get
the computer fixed so that I can use it again.
I'm trying to get a hub for it. Uh So,
MSRP on the the debt starter deck is thirteen ninety
nine booster. MSRP is four.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Ninety nine, So five bucks or starter packer per booster
for the boosters and basically fourteen.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
For the starter bus.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Well that's pretty good. Fourteen bucks overall is there's a
good deal, So there was.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
It does have a little video on how to play,
which I need to watch it again. I watched it
once before, but I didn't it's been a little whiles.
High got to rewatch that. I mean, we'll we'll figure
out we'll be able to get a game down pretty soon.
And well it's a pluthora of cards.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
I think we'll have to just coffee shop it. This
one would be easy. And that one game i'd like
you to try to one of these times. There's that
trench knife. That's a really interesting concept. I think your
mind would like possibly possibly, I know enough, I think
you'd like.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
The game, But you want to show them the other thing?
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Yeah, you guys want to see something else you like, No, no,
somebody pops up. No, okay, So the other is quint is.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Doing the Legion.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Imperialis Yep, you got the main core, so you.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Mean box and then I'll just carefully set this over
here is here, let me just swap it over. I'm
not sure. It's probably gonna be Claire, but there might
be some boom. This is the Legion Astartes Combined Arms
Battle Group. So this is the new set that just
dropped yesterday, So it's basically for a starting army. This
(43:14):
will get great going.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
It's all six millimeter, so it's all that sale the
front of the box there.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
The box is cool artwork. But yeah, you know.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
Hello ice Wolf, how are you good evening? Good day
to you too, sir.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
You're not completely devoid of war Himmer, but no, trying
to manage it a little better.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
But the six millimeter will be actually I think.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
Easier. It'll be a little easier to get. Well.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
What I like on the box is what comes with
because you've got let me switch this around so you're
not staring at that glare. I don't know what to
do with delight, but the set does come with like
a lot an awful lot. It's the fact that you've
got multiple tanks. You've got several different dreadnoughts support units.
(44:15):
The next your support units, yeah, core support. Well here
you got some assault marines. You got a contempt he
dreadnought with the curse assault cannon. You've got contempted dreadnoughts
with the twin linked last cannons.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
You've gotta set of terminators. Um, you gotta set up?
Is that? E hey Aby? Hello? Right? Yeah, Evelyn, she
found you.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Oh no, you found your daddy's hiding out Leviathan dreadsnoughts. Uh,
just a whole bunch of stuff. And you got h trados, tanks,
land raiders, interceptors.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
So this is a big I don't know, huh. Trying
to figure what platform she's on. She's on YouTube. Okay, hello, Evie,
how come you didn't come over? You could have come
over and saw the new puppy.
Speaker 3 (45:24):
She could have kept her occupied.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yeah, you could have played with the puppy. Do you
want to see the puppy? Astley will show you the puppy.
So just to uh give you an idea of what
comes in this box.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
No, I'm noticing that a couple of them have like
two's but much.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
This is the epic scale ice Wolf. This is all
six millimeters to like this box as one hundred and
fifty miniatures.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
It is the combined Arms battle group. Yeah, there's almost
two armies right there. Yeah, it's kind of cool. I
like the assortment that you got. And if I was
going to try to buy forty k items big like this,
of course. Yes.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
If we're going to show the puppy again, hold on,
you have a request for the puppy.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Ashley, she's getting.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
She's getting that. She was getting the puppy. Her name
is Beth Ice Wolf, Beth nothing weird er fancies. She's like,
bring her up to the camera.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
There you go, let's see. Yeah. She's like, what are
you guys doing? What are all those things I can
chew on dad's death?
Speaker 1 (46:46):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no chewy this stuff
so believe it or not. She's only ten weeks old,
and pretty soon I expect to come home and see
a saddle on her with my granddaughter Maya riding down
the street.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
As I'm pulling up. She's got she's.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Blaberal retriever with bloodhound and the dad was Bloodhound and
Great Pyrenees. So this dog is going to be a
good hunter. She should have all the honting attributes of
a retriever and a bloodhound. But it's gonna be big.
She's very mellow though.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
A very mellow dog. She's very low key.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Because I will say, show the puppy, Show the puppy.
Oh yeah, she is super nice.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
She's cute. She's like, what do you got me at
the table here? I can't make that jump. I cannot
make the jump.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
She's got some guts though she's considering it, don't.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Yeah, she is big.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
She's twenty five pounds already, so approximately, so yeah, I
think I think when she gets too big. Do they
make edible and digestively friendly three D printed bones, Well,
(48:15):
Nigawa they are. They have authorized, at least in our
weird o country three D printed steaks and chickens, so
probably somewhere, although I think i'd rather just give her
some treats.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
I don't know if you've given her the treats. She
thinks now you're the treat man.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
Yeah, but I'm just don't know about three D printed food.
They have people making it, can keep it. I'm good un.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
Let's Quinton wants a three D printed steak now.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
But maybe we're just too old school for that. But yeah,
she's a pretty cute little girl.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
She's just looking around staring at it. Now, stop, that
guy is still here. Hey, that guy was Jesse's friend.
Speaker 3 (49:06):
Man.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Jesse really liked Clint. She's looking down on the floor.
You can put her down if you want.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
So, did you get a chance to see her? Ev
if you're still there.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
Here, did you want to open that up on the
table over there so they could see the bunch of
you can see a bunch of gray plastic spruise?
Speaker 2 (49:29):
Yeah, what are you going through?
Speaker 1 (49:37):
But Charles says, Greg, you're you gonna teach her how
to chew on Ashley's chair. Yes, it's strategically places to
weaken the foundation of the chair.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
You have to be the one buying me a new one.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
No, that was funny. You gotta admit you know it'll
probably it will never happen again, but it.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
You're bad.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Sometimes just kind of duplicate things again in life, no
matter how hard you try, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (50:08):
It was one of those.
Speaker 4 (50:12):
Honey, Yeah, that's what she's looking for, because when I
went out there to go get her.
Speaker 3 (50:18):
She had her bowl flipped over.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
Well, I was quite hungry.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
That means that's a symbol to you, that's hey, look
this thing is empty. See it's upside down, it's empty.
So that's her way of saying, I need more fun.
Ashley's gotten smart. I've seen her order some like metal
straps and bolts. I think she's going to try to
reinforce her chair so it doesn't break on her in
(50:43):
the future. You know. Okay, here, here's some here's some
plastic screws, because everybody likes to see, well, look at
those plastic plastic everybody likes to see.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
Though.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
How much is in the bottle. There's there's a lot
in the box. But it's tiny. So quite a few bases.
At least the bases have designs on them.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Yeah, they got designs, little cracks and some of them.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
They're all different as you no texture basis. Yeah, it's
gonna be small. You're gonna be able to get a
lot painting.
Speaker 6 (51:26):
The troops are gonna beriticize my nails, that's okay, one, two, three, four,
Well those are bigger, six seven.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
You're the fighters tough in this box. So nine, ten,
eleven twelve, and some bigger basis for the others.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
There's some bigger but I didn't see those. Yeah, flight
stands too.
Speaker 7 (52:01):
Yeah, because they got those are the fighters. Yeah, because
the fighters are a little bit bigger. Obviously, get your
detail sheet. Oh there's the decals.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yeah. Yeah, it's got credit detal sheets in it because
oh god, because you could pick whatever. Right, So you
two three four.
Speaker 4 (52:23):
Different ones, Dark Angels, Imperiod Children, Iron Warriors, White Scars,
space Wolves, Imperial Fists, night Lords, Blood Angels, Iron Hands,
Earth Eaters, Wols, Marines, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, Son of Horse.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Gonna have both the regular Yeah, they're kind of fanatic.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
Guard Alpha Legion are the same on this one too.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
Yeah, so that was the I mentioned that big sheets
for the.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Probably. I mean it's cool that it gives you transfer.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
We lost the piece on here, one of them listening.
Speaker 2 (53:13):
A piece, Well, we'll find and put it in the box.
It won't get lost. It's probably an engine off of
one of the planes. Yeah, it's an engine off one
of the planes.
Speaker 3 (53:23):
Oh, speak of planes. That's actually pretty easy.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Yeah, they're they're pretty simple to build. Five steps. That's it.
There's not much for the planes and stuff. Even I
thunder Hawk guns ship had a few extra.
Speaker 3 (53:37):
Heavy tank Yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
Well, but the tanks are still like, can you show
the sprew with the tank and the planes, they get
an idea of the size.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Yeah, that looks like a tank. That's one of the
one of the tanks. Yeah, so it was.
Speaker 1 (53:53):
It's not gonna be I school says, that'll be a
lot of work getting ready.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
Actually, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (53:58):
I can knock them out. I can build them real quick.
It's give me the paint.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Painting is what's gonna suck.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Yeah, if you want to get detail, that's gonna I mean.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
Your little figures. You know, you can pretty much go
and just use that ultra marine blue bin.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah, for the most part, that's what this is for.
You're gonna be able to.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
There you go. You need to paint. I should I
don't know. I wanting to get one of.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
Those glasses that you know. Where the hell did I
see it? Yeah, harbor filles. Yeah, they worked pretty well.
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Come here, baby here.
Speaker 2 (54:36):
She's like, it just came in here. What what what
do you want me to do? She's like, what do
you want me to do?
Speaker 3 (54:42):
That's so funny. You've been afraid. Now, this is the
first time you've been in here.
Speaker 2 (54:47):
More often people in here and stuff's going on, and
I'm getting atten gent.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
Yes, Otherwise, it was just a scary room at the
end of the house.
Speaker 3 (54:56):
It was THELL because I have the three D prin
in here.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
Well, yeah, you have the rubbing alcohol, alcohol and everything
else resident and then I'm sure there's some leftover spell
from Jesse to possibility. So she doesn't know that, you know,
that's why Quint's saying there's people back here.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
But I took her out because she was wineing. She jumped,
cleared the steps and face plane.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
My god, Well she's a puppy, so at least she's okay.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
She bounced.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
So there's actually quite a bit that comes in ut
that box. Yeah, different heights, different heights, variations.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
And she put the little engine back in there because
you will want it because it takes all the parts.
There's you're not the ways. If I'm understanding the way
this box is set, you're going to be able to
make exactly what the box says. So you're gonna have
two versions of the tanks, two versions of the dreadnoughts.
The planes are all going to be just enough to
make the planes. You don't have any variations. In fact,
(56:09):
the only one I ever had leftover parts were the
orcs because it depended on which bomb you used. So
that's the the planes. Scale is Aeronautic Imperialis that we
covered a while back, and it does use the dreadnoughts
from Adeptist Titanicus, which is the one question earlier about
(56:32):
scale size for the nights, it's the same. It's the
Adeptist Titanicus scale, and.
Speaker 1 (56:39):
Uh, the Aeronautica Imperialist that was. I did like that
game when we played on but we played it twice
or something, but was pretty good.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Even my son Josh liked it. Yeah, I think you
had the the l R. It could be ships or something.
But then they discontinued, and I don't know why they
discontinued because this was coming out. So all the planes
are now available for this You don't, but you can
buy the Aeronautic Imperialist bases off their website if you
(57:10):
want to still play. They just don't include them in
the box anymore. Ice Well, says Elie.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
Express like nine dollars with four sets of.
Speaker 2 (57:20):
Lenses or a lot of bright white LEDs help. I
have new LED's trips. It helps a lot.
Speaker 1 (57:25):
Yeah, ours is see that shine on the box. It's
just a matter of it's it's just our lighting in
the room too. We could go ahead and put stand
up lights, which we have done which work good for
the games.
Speaker 4 (57:39):
We have those ones. Keeking gave us the actual bulb ones.
They're in the.
Speaker 1 (57:45):
Shed here with the big bulbs.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
Well yeah, but those are.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
At least for right now.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
Yeah, it's kind of awkward though because of where it's
at now. The other and Clinton those we do it
all the time with this pool and the other camera
with that adjustable lens, and we did boxings in the past.
Speaker 2 (58:07):
We never had no problem.
Speaker 1 (58:09):
But I have never have yet to find a damn
webcam with an adjustable lens. They just don't seem to
be around. If you guys find one, emailed me, text
me let me know. Because that thing was great for
such a cheap little camera. It took such a high
quality picture until one day it just turned yellow and died.
(58:29):
But you know, so we could try different types of lighting,
but I've got to do something with the main light
up there. No, it had it was an odd ball
brand and the lens. You actually could turn it on
the outside to adjust it. Because this is the Logitech
(58:51):
Uh oh my god, the C ninety or whatever.
Speaker 2 (58:56):
That's a small.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
That's an OZ bought that's I.
Speaker 3 (59:04):
Think that just adjusts.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
It's not an actual Yeah.
Speaker 1 (59:07):
The problem is you want something that can focus the camera.
It's focus in on the miniature stuff because there's a
ton of there's a ton of webcams designed for zoom meetings,
Google meets a hang outs, all that stuff, like all
those but when you try to hold a miniature up
to it, it can't focus in on it very well
(59:30):
because they're just generally wide angled yeah stuff, and they're
not designed for gamers. Now, certain ones like the one
that Nagawa got that's a pretty high definition camera on it.
If you mount it on the top, it would zoom down.
That's kind of what we need to do for the
(59:51):
camera wise.
Speaker 2 (59:56):
But yeah, you can.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
You can get this little webcam to ven using is okay,
that's your bone. Ice Will says, use strips of light.
It comes from all sides, so way less places for
shadow and glare. Yeah, but could you imagine our next
show it's all lights blinking everywhere because Ashley has a
(01:00:18):
setup of some sort of give people seizures, YouTube shout
us down forever, and too many blinking lights. Conference cams.
Those are for taking in a hole. It's a very
wide angle lens on those.
Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Yeah, there's something like that. It's a little mini one
that dangles.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Well, it's not that, it's the one adjusted the lenses
adjusted like you know on the camera. So there's tons
of them out there, actually is looking AT's just there's
just not ones that would replace that. We had that one,
and we used to be mounted to this pole I
have here above me, and it was just fantastic, and
(01:01:10):
you look back on geez, I wish it would have
bought three or four. But at the time you think,
oh it's in production, you buy it, and down the
road is not in production anymore, and no one else
did it. So now you got a lot of cheap
junk coming, you know, coming in, and it's not necessarily.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Here's a manual zoom.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
Yeah that's what I want. Elp oh wow, five to
fifty millimeters. Go visit the set. Now, that would be
worth it. Okay, I don't want to sellone like that. No,
click that thing. Crystal Clear Mesage eight layered optical zoom.
(01:01:56):
That's what you need right there.
Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Or two hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
That's still not that bad for what's what's going on today,
as long as it actually is worth it. But everything is, yeah,
getting up there because these here that's thirty bucks. That
one was thirty You can adjust the rings. These are
nineties still per.
Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Second, so it should be probably a little bit better.
And you can mount that up on.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
That bar.
Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
You'd have to save it and look for something like that,
like save the name or whatever the name was, search
the So yeah, so we've got to try to figure
out something different, like we've said all along, but I don't know,
I get too busy with working in life and stuff
to figure out lights or something happens and if it
(01:02:53):
costs money, that takes away from the lights or you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
So we'll have to have to try one that's similar
to that one that's one hundred and fifteen. Well, but
you got to remember, you got to make sure it's
a decent quality because a lot of stuff is just
made overseas and it's junk. It looks fancy and then
it's not really a good resolution. It's all green.
Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
This is an Amazon haul right now. Ten times obticles.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
Is well professional lens. It literally says it on it.
That makes me question it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Right there, I don't know. For fifteen dollars, it's probably
a solid buy. No, I'd say most likely. The problem
with that is bet it works. But I'll bet you
if you were to buy that that the image would
be grainy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
It's possible.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
What I mean, Yeah, it wouldn't be quite.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
It wouldn't be crystal clear or clear.
Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
It is clear pixels twelve point twelve millimeter pixels, high
definition and true color image.
Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Megapixel camera. That's only a twelve megapixel camera.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Yeah, but when anything over three or four will get
you a good clear picture.
Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
Yeah, we had a camera from like the early two
thousands of twelve megapixels. Hey, Chris, how are you more
than that? From not Jay? How are you sir? Sorr?
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
I was looking over here trying to just looking for
decent cameras with focusing ability.
Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
Is it four cage DMI cable cable camera cable yeah,
each gm.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
I yeah, Nagaut was here. Well, here's one.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
Eighty three books.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
The five.
Speaker 4 (01:04:46):
Two megapixels nineteen twenty by ten eighty resolution.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Well, glad you're doing well, Chris. All of us are
doing well. So far, so good, surviving another.
Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
Day and Mike can be hooked up to it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
You don't need that, but okay.
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Two two that's not enough. That Yeah, that's too low.
You need it at least five four or five at
least for clear amount.
Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
Out here.
Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
It's kind of weird, Chris. It's getting to be uh.
Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
Warner all this week spring yeah, spring like winter officially comes.
It's coming spring. We got snowed in below zero temperatures.
They had to do a ton of plowing and then
now now it's all melting and this week and a
lot of it's gonna melt off because it's going to
be in the forties to the what fifty three Christmas Day?
Guess it's going to be fifty three degrees. Oh you're
(01:05:49):
gonna have sixty five degrees on Christmas Day, says, there
you go. And then it's the week after that any
Clint where just plummets back down. It's again, it's kind
of weird. And a lot of times and I will
we don't even get snow till late January.
Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
Yeah, I'm surprised we got what we got right, now. Yeah. Yeah,
come next Sunday it'll drop into the thirties and twenties again.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
We'll have a week's reprieve, is what we'll have. It'll
be pretty decent for the weekend, getting out and about
and all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
Tomorrow's forty thirty two, Tuesday's forty one, twenty nine.
Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Yeah, but see right there forty one.
Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
Uh, Thursday forty eight, forty one, Friday forty eight.
Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
And then Sunday is supposed to be twenty five.
Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Chris, he's not a fan of getting cold again. Well, no,
none of us really, yeah, nobody, nobody. And when you
got to work in it, well at least it's hard
to do.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
Chrissell's birthday is not going to snow now.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Yeah. So like the cold doesn't.
Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
Doesn't if it's cold the week in the.
Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Sense that if you go from the house to the
car you go to work, who cares, or the car
to the store. But I've had to work out in
it for hours at a time.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
That is not fun.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
And I don't care how much hot pad you have
for your hands or your toll warmers, your face freezes
it just it you get cold outside. You know, over
the years on boughting some heavier clothes. Still you still
get cold. So I'm not a fan of the because
(01:07:33):
generally when it freezes, that's when we have water issues.
That's when you know, water pipes fail and whatnot, no
matter what, and all the plumbing companies go crazy because
it's not just manufactured homes, it's houses.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
You got.
Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
We had the one of the chick fil As in
the area, mainline break that will mainline water break in
Hiawatha last week, so you get. The cold doesn't just
affect where at work, it affects everything.
Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
And not Jasons.
Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
He is working on getting planes printed for more World
War two aerial combat using the fiscal LEDs rules.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
Very cool, j not Jake.
Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
Sorry, we've gotta We've got to basically just get some
residents print some clear stands for these. But there you go,
that's the human defense force kind of what is this
for one.
Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
Ships? So they're very similar to the.
Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
There's the only ones.
Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Yeah, that's cool, but for some reason you have to
replace it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
The aren't properly because these are would print it out.
So I don't know if I need to make these
smaller of them, because.
Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
Yeah, it kind of looks like that, but that's yeah,
I print.
Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Him the way they happen. So I need to make
these smaller, just like a hair, or just file the
ends or file it just enough.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Yeah, because there was like their squadrons, babies, babies on basis.
Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
Yeah, I need to I need to get.
Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Yeah, none of these are weak and that's wrong with.
Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
The two and start using the Firestorm Ramada ships with
the brutality space rules. Well there's so many.
Speaker 5 (01:09:50):
Chris Ice Wolf Wag if you guys or any of you,
I printed out a bunch of those ships that we
showed off last the last week.
Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
Yeah, I thought I painted a pink or was it
two weeks ago?
Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
Now?
Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
All right, two weeks ago?
Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
And I have two of his that are leaking resin,
but none of the rest of them.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
Mark, did I not cure those enough?
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Or what.
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
I was plowing? Knowing and many more up sends me
a text you better get in there. She's painting your
pink and the show was.
Speaker 3 (01:10:26):
Not ruining the show. I had more people on until
you showed up.
Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
Oh my gosh, Well then I'll just go no. So yeah,
he she got him painted pink.
Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
I got one painted pink.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Maya took over she's gonna finish it for me.
Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
Another one.
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
Well, she likes the miniatures, so she likes the she got.
Speaker 4 (01:10:49):
So she brought me one that she wanted for the
little Hu Human Defense Force guys that you gave her.
That was one of the extras because we thought they
were the Smallerer. There were two small or something I tried. Yeah,
so we gave it to her. She broke the leg off.
She wants me to do operation Yeah, I don't have
(01:11:10):
any more glue. I have to get more glue Glory,
the super glue.
Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:11:16):
I have some of the Zappa gap but on the
resident it does not.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Like res It works just great on any spruce.
Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
That and when I first started building with Clint, I
bought the ball out Tamaya.
Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Yeah, the Tomaya glue.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
And I mean those tanks that we built back down.
That's been eight years now.
Speaker 3 (01:11:41):
Yeah, and they're still stuck together.
Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
They're still together. To me, is s model paint? I mean,
so it makes sense doing model kits with it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
Was the puppy gets the most viewers probably, Well, we just.
Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
Got her Monday Wednesday, so she's only been here a
couple of days.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
It's more u V TLEM Casseid and Chris some more
likely I need to have a drain. Put him to
the excess resident that gets trapped in hollow in the
hollows of the models of Prince.
Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Actually she had the resin.
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Well it might be better because we do we can
patch a small hole like as it builds.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Yeah, yeah, didn't you put them in in the flight stand?
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
In the flight stand? Did I figure out like that's
that way we don't have to replace it?
Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
Well, that makes sense, but yeah, sometimes that doesn't. That's
not a small hole for it.
Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
But all the other ones aren't Lincoln, none of minor Lincoln.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
None of the other one.
Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
Just it was on two of them, So I don't know,
but it could be that it might be better.
Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
Are you building them like this? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
Well so when it's building, yeah, I guess technically be
the other one. This is on the bay the plate,
so it's being built this way.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
So going reason why it's not because the hole.
Speaker 3 (01:13:01):
Is not not where it needs to be.
Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
So it should what you should be doing it is
on the plate. You should actually be where it's the bottom.
You should actually be doing it like this, okay, because
then put your supports under here and it'll as it prints,
that will drain down as it goes, because what it's
doing when it's printing is it's printing like this, so
it creates the whole no print. Yeah, sorry, you get backwards. Yeah,
(01:13:26):
but but then.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
The supports will be up here well because.
Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Our print, yes, would be in the top out okay,
because I think I have to reverse the thing to
get it out. But yeah, so where your drain hole
is is that's But generally I have found, at least
with the Elgus stuff, if you print it just at
a slight angle to the base, with the supports under it,
it's much easier to deal with.
Speaker 4 (01:13:51):
I cared them for almost fifteen minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
That's a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
There are big pieces, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
I just stuck my outside in the sun for half
an hour and didn't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Just fine, Yeah right now gold we stick ours outside
that am.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
Resident basically Yeah. Now it's too cold to put them
outside to cure, so I put them in like the
window of the kitchen window. That's a good idea. I
usually use the sun to cure them versus I did
that one day by accident, and I found it seemed
like it worked better than using the UV light. So
(01:14:29):
I'm like, okay, cool, we'll just do that.
Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
Chris said, you might want to have a secondary hole
on the other side, so there's not a vacuum created.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
Maybe that's why that's possible. There's a small vacuum in
those ones.
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
Where do you put the hole?
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Look at the model if you're gonna print anymore, because
shouts come out the side here and then back.
Speaker 2 (01:14:50):
To the engine. Put a hole for the I put.
Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
A hole here because I can patch that.
Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Yeah, that you fill it? Well, my prints a plug
that you put in most of the files I have.
When you do you set up the the drain, it
automatically prints a plug as well. Because when I look
in the creases, you can see the.
Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
See it's just yours mon, perfectly fine. So I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
I do because the universe works against me. Sometimes there's
that Yeah, he says, he doesn't never occur more than
two to six minutes. I say that, Yeah, I air
trapped ice love thinks.
Speaker 3 (01:15:28):
Mane that's you.
Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
I'm thinking because if this was your wheepole, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
And it looks like some of it got filled when.
Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
It got that's filled. That one actually is filled.
Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
So maybe I didn't put the wheel pole plate.
Speaker 8 (01:15:42):
Well, this would be the plate right, so it comes up. Also,
remember Greg, maybe make a drain hole right there. You
printed that way, you have a lot less support. That's
why you have more support.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
No, flat, you have more support because what's happening even
though that that printer plate is going in and out
of the reds and slow, it's creating a vacuum. It's
creating section when it pulls out, so your smaller pieces
can get pulled right off the plate if you Oh yeah,
I know. That's why it recommends you print it.
Speaker 4 (01:16:10):
And I've learned what some of the smaller piece of
pieces to do a heavier support.
Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
Yeah, so yeah, it.
Speaker 4 (01:16:20):
Sucks sometimes because it's like some of the pieces are
so tiny that you snap them.
Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
Because I've done it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
Yeah, I still have that flexible liquid resin. I need
to try it. Now that I actually have my computer
working again, I can actually start three D printing again.
I'm going to try that that flexible liquid resin. I
got to see if that.
Speaker 4 (01:16:40):
Doesn't said he or someone who's well, you're talking about
it when ours was acting up that they mixed the resin.
You can, yeah, where it's like half the flexible and
half the I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Going to try the flexible one flexible first, and if
it doesn't seem like that's working like I want, then
I'm going to go to a mixing. Never gonna use
is the environmentally friendly resident again, Jesus, the water based resident.
That was horrible. Just that I only ever had one
print come out real well. The rest of them all sucked.
Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
It was easy to clean up. I mean, that was
nice switch around in a thing of water.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
And but Chris says, there's always suction when you pull out.
Anyone just coming in and hearing that comment, we're talking
about a resin printer. Yeah, yeah, but that's true. It
does create suction, so clinch, you guys are right. So
maybe just because it's it's it's weeping out of the models,
you could just.
Speaker 2 (01:17:38):
Try again. The prints are extremely nice, but I'm worried
about also going to have to trying to a little bigger.
Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
Anyway, I think, to make it deeper.
Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
Yeah, well something, but might want to just pitch him
and start over, because what's gonna happen to see it?
See see all that shiny it's just kind of weeping
out of this thing. No, drill a little hole in
the back and pitched some of the smaller ones. I
think we could drain this.
Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
It doesn't sound like you always use the old resin
pieces for train You could. Yeah, you can't abandon ships
drifting pieces. Attach them to asteroids.
Speaker 4 (01:18:16):
Take a small m drill bit bab and we'll just
drill into them and make sure everything's out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
Then you can just use a small syringe and just
try to suck anything out of it with that.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
Just a different way of setting it out on that
BILLD plate And that little printer has done pretty good
over the years and really can't complain about yours was
doing really great too.
Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
You just until that the computer kept taking it.
Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
You know what, well, you got your computer. I got
the computer fixed.
Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
I need to change the film plate on my tray
because my film plate is just cloudy and scratch, so
it makes the original one. It needs to be updated.
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
They're not that expensive either, we already have.
Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
I just need to do it. Oh the whole time
thing again. Yeah, I just need to get everything set
up and then just actually do it, and then charge
up my my charcoal, my air filter things for it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
And always says and we all know what happens if
you don't fall out quick enough.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
Ay, Now, not that kind of show here, boys.
Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
Oh yeah, we're not talking about child support, are we.
Oh I didn't add to that, didn't I try to
diffuse it? No? You failed.
Speaker 3 (01:19:35):
I'm miserable.
Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
That's okay.
Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
Yeah, you never know. There's a lot of weeping. Yes,
sometimes there is a lot of crime. There is on
these pieces. There's quite a bit of a.
Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Just a little bit. Yeah, put the nose down more so.
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
I you tried to wash it, you know, but I'm
just I know it's not something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
And then do your supports under it. It's not gonna
let the paintstick. The nice thing with it printing like
that is.
Speaker 3 (01:20:12):
But don't should I put one up here, then.
Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
Well rotate it one hundred flip it over basically so
that the bottom is facing up. This is the place, right,
I know, that's why you want to fit Okay, Now,
so it drains out so as it prints, the drain
plug is one of the last things prints like that. Yeah,
and the drain plug is one of the last things
it prints, So it's constantly dropping the resin out of
(01:20:37):
it as it's printing, and then when you get to
the point where you're printing the drain hole, you've already
got most of the resin out of it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
Ice Will says, I love my resume printer. It is
a bit of work, but saves so much money. And
Prince twelve minutes or four hours. Yeah, they are a
little bit of work, but we've i mean.
Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
Down pretty close.
Speaker 1 (01:21:01):
To in printing printed out does save a ton of money.
And you asked what the games are for or what
the ships are for, Ice, Well, if that's for one
page rules, one page rules. So in that case, you know,
we got the files for freeze. It doesn't cost nothing
but the resin. So when you can do that, you're
(01:21:23):
you are going to save money. And that was my
one big thing for it. Like I've told you guys
for was I want to do more terrain stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
That's what I'm going to be doing. Is actually you're
one of the worst. Just ask me.
Speaker 1 (01:21:33):
Warm mud My guy says, oh thanks, Chris, here's reminding
everyone to click the thumbs up. Yeah, if you guys
do that, we'd appreciate it. It does help because I
actually the Chris, we got to get together again. Man,
at some point, get on your show and chit chat.
Go ahead to glint.
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
I'm sorry, say the heck's tech stuff. I bought a
lot of their files, so they're just sitting there on
the computer waiting for me to print those textick buildings
for BattleTech and stuff. So I want to see it
that flexible resin holds up pretty well, because I would
like train if we could accidentally drop off the table.
Speaker 1 (01:22:09):
Yeah, I'm curious how that's gonna do, because if it's
a little too brittle when it drops or brakes. Yeah,
So it's just a matter of just an angle ash
and put the hole at the bottom so it drains
and wherever you put the whole.
Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
She's working on the the plug. She's trying to make
the plug a certain size. But you don't want to
be too if you're using it for the post. You
don't want to be too big either.
Speaker 1 (01:22:37):
If you're using it for the post, I wouldn't even
worry about it because the post will go in there
and I'll blew it right.
Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
But I gotta make the hole.
Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Yeah the hold.
Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were trying to make
a plug for the hole to say, just make the
hole all the way in and.
Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
Anyways however you do it. So they're taking.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Your ideas, you guys, and she's incorporating it on her
I want to build here.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
Said it failed too deep of a hole.
Speaker 3 (01:23:10):
Try another location.
Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
It's not gonna let me put it there. Mm hmm.
That's what I'm saying. The back into the ship where
the engine is. Yeah, you could do one engines going
to drain it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
Okay, So are you printing? It's coming up like this?
So if it comes up like this and angle, can
you put a hole here in the tip because I
can fill that as long as it doesn't get into
alter into design too much because these are hollow. So
I mean, if you're printed a solid, it would be heavy.
(01:23:44):
You wouldn't have to worry about resin build up. But
then again it would take a lot of resin.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
Oh the joys. So it's all fun.
Speaker 3 (01:23:57):
That's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (01:24:05):
That's a nice angle, Yeah, like a twenty two degree angles.
Speaker 3 (01:24:09):
Not letting me puncture.
Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
But he doesn't let her put the the dream plug in.
Speaker 3 (01:24:15):
Mm hmm. That's wait too long. Maybe there.
Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
Would be on this part of the ship. That's possible.
Any big flat if it's on this area.
Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
See because you can flatten it out.
Speaker 2 (01:24:35):
It's towards the tip, but you don't want to. This
is the small I know, but you don't want it.
Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
In the fence, yes, because it wouldn't it's on the
flat area. Charles says, sounds like too much work. Actually,
it's just more or less. All the other prints came
out just fine, but these ships are a little bit.
If you printed its solid, you wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
Print it with supports or with not supports. Well, supports gets,
but not where it's it's hollow, but it's not hollow.
It prints support beams inside it.
Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
That's what I do to keep it from collapsing.
Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Okay, yeah, Chris is right there, Charles, not too often
does this come up. I mean generally we've printed hundreds
and the pieces and haven't had an issue. It's just
been these ships with these files and the prints are plane.
But it's just weeping, weeping resident that's just gonna destroy
(01:25:38):
any kind of pangas.
Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
You could just print it as normal and just use
a syringe and flesh some alcohol.
Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
Th Right, once I can drop, I pull it out,
I take the supports off, then I throw it in a.
Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
Right, but take a syringe and actually inject alcohol into
the inside of it, force it out, and then that
should rinse a lot of the resin out. I mean,
at some point it's gonna stop weeping because there's no
more there. I mean, and these are so small that
might be what you have to do.
Speaker 3 (01:26:08):
I might just have to make his actually just solid.
Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Yeah, that's possible too, because the designed they're not that
big that making them solid is going to be that
much of a problem. Just uses a little more resin
as all. This one would be the only one that
would be heavy.
Speaker 3 (01:26:23):
Yeah, but one of them is weeping, so I'll just
make them haul.
Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
It's weeping, just out of the edges andever so like,
because about a little pick, you know those little four
dollar picks that you can get a harbor frame and
cleaned all that out. The design is you can't see
it on this camera, but the design is very detailed,
very nice. You could let a lot of paint flow
into lines. But if it's weeping, resident.
Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
I'll just reprint you three of each.
Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
Whatever. Yeah, then you're good. Then you're good to go,
because the little one's no biggie.
Speaker 1 (01:26:59):
That makes sense sometimes, Charles, you just got to fiddle
with it. A little bit, is all, and it depends
on what you're trying to print.
Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
It is easy to overthink it.
Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
Yeah, sometimes I actually have a habit of overthinking that.
I am literally my boss tells me all the time, Greg.
Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
You're overthinking it. I'm like, okay, but.
Speaker 1 (01:27:23):
Rather overthink it than maybe not. I guess that's kind
of how my mind.
Speaker 2 (01:27:27):
But then you got to realize are you really overthinking
it or are you just overthinking a little bit. And
sometimes I get to the point where it's like, you
know what, ef, I'm just gonna do this and I'm done.
I'm not. I don't we'll figure it out anymore. Thought,
just done. I'm just gonna do this and that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
Yeah, because if you ever think something too long, it'll
take it.
Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
Don't do that mm hmm. You think you're gonna get
you're gonna get that, get done and plate easily?
Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
Oh I am. I just don't.
Speaker 2 (01:27:54):
And you guys have a small plate. Imagine I could
do with mine? Yeah, I know you have a way better.
Mind is half for shies a sheet of paper, and
that's not even the biggest one they make. I seriously considered.
Once I get seriously preming again, I might go ahead
and buy the Jupiter, which is almost a sheet of paper.
Good grief. Well, I want to get something. I'm going
(01:28:17):
to make some big hex Tech terrain though, you know,
so that you know, that's gonna be like two buildings
on that plate and that's it. Just got to see
if I can get it working and get the resin
right and then. But I don't want to keep buying
hex Tech terrain at forty or fifty dollars a building
when I can just print my own and paint it,
you know. Yeah, Well that's where you're going with us
(01:28:39):
doing the gothic stuff. There are a lot of free
gothic files out there that work for both work for
that's not bad. Actually it's so bad. You start before
you go to sleep. And because there are a lot
of files out there, the buildings work for Legions Imperialis
and battle Tech Gothic. Yeah, you know, I want to
(01:29:00):
print a bunch of buildings. So we've got a big
plethora of terrain.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
You're gonna need it, because aren't they coming out with Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:29:09):
They're gonna do the Monsters finally, that'll be sometime next year.
They are going to print the Monster. There have been
enough demand that they are in production of doing them all.
Speaker 4 (01:29:18):
Like I said, you could have sent me the picture.
I could see if I could find something similar.
Speaker 2 (01:29:23):
Just some dude took the images and made three D
print files of them, but he's not putting them out
for everyone. Well yeah, really, well, I mean even just
put them out for free as proxies. They work. They
look pretty darn clothes.
Speaker 1 (01:29:41):
Yeah, well, as long as the monsters are coming out people,
people can clamoring for that.
Speaker 2 (01:29:45):
So there's they're gonna.
Speaker 1 (01:29:48):
Come out and that'll make it much much more fun.
But yeah, I see what they were doing that had
to test the water, because that is a whole different
take battle Tech, and you do have a very hard
core Yeah, it was a group of battle Tech players
who are not There's a lot of change, a lot
of support too, That's yeah. I think that the heat
(01:30:10):
is kind of vanishing because I've talked to people who're like,
we're never doing this, this is ridiculous, we won't do this,
and then they're like, oh my god, this thing's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
Yeah, you know, and yeah, and like I love it.
I love the idea of having monsters to fight against it.
Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
Yeah, it makes sense in a world where you're you're
fighting a giant Max, Why wouldn't you have monsters?
Speaker 2 (01:30:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
Why wouldn't you have giant creatures? I mean because you know,
I mean why not?
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
It just goes with to me, the whole world that
they live in. It's an alternate universe, and move on
with it. The rules are the same.
Speaker 1 (01:30:46):
So how do we get to this alternate universe in
real life?
Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Clint?
Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
No, I wouldn't want to be in that kind of universe.
Speaker 2 (01:30:54):
Depends on the alternate universes. I would have wanted to
be in the forty K universe anyway.
Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
It would be a horrific existence. But then again, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
Don't know how anybody makes any headway in that universe.
They don't.
Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
It's just a meat grinder. Yeah, that's all that is.
Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
Yeah, yep, Yeah, all right, you guys, we're gonna go ahead,
and it's five thirty here.
Speaker 3 (01:31:20):
Yeah, I get dinner going.
Speaker 1 (01:31:21):
But we appreciate you coming by and checking it out.
And it's always good to end the week and start
the week with you guys, because you know, it just is.
It makes a big deal to me, So I appreciate it.
I know Clint appreciates it. We'll trying to get more stuff.
And I know you guys like having Clinton on, so
we'll try to drag him in more.
Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
As he can.
Speaker 1 (01:31:46):
We just all need to win the lottery in Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
Yeah, that's yeah, do that funny. I can get a
lot done if you just have money coming in. Yeah,
isn't it amazing? Having to work and just having money
coming makes it much easier to get things done.
Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
And just for this little bit in your life, Clint,
You're like, this is how the elites live.
Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
You're like, wait, I kind of like this. I don't
recall ever having a bank account that there are more
than four digits in there the balance.
Speaker 1 (01:32:11):
You know, it's like wow, Ken and I saw I'm
gonna go buy a coffee.
Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
Oh wait, I can afford it. I can't wait, No,
I can buy that. Then I've got to ask myself
do I need that? Or I had to really put
put some stuff back going. Yeah, I don't. I had
much more legion imperialist stuff right now, But I'm like,
I need to play the game first before you. Yeah, Like,
(01:32:42):
here's the stuff that's on sale and his good price.
I'll buy that. Here's the train because I know we
can use the train is its just like we know
that's gonna be usable. Even the map tiles and everything.
Speaker 3 (01:32:54):
Yeah, for the most part.
Speaker 2 (01:32:56):
That'll be well because the map tiles will work for
both Legion and Periols and battle Tech Gothic. Technically, it
would work for BattleTech too, really, because they're just the
one foot by one foot titles that click together. They're
just road sections, yeah, and they are, but they are
for Legion Imperialis. Who means it's smaller roads, not the
forty gay roads. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:33:17):
So Charles, you stay warm and be safe. Goodbye to
you guys too, Ice Wolf, Happy war gaming to you back, sir.
Thank you to go well. Hopefully you and your family
have a good time. Chris, thank you for coming by,
and everybody else that stop by, thank you too, And
we'll catch you guys next week. In the meantime, enjoy
(01:33:38):
your time with your families and have a little.
Speaker 2 (01:33:40):
Bit of fun that we'll catch you next Sunday.
Speaker 3 (01:33:43):
Hi, guys,
