An actual play podcast by a group of dudes.
Discussion and whatnot. Noah is given homework.
The mercs attempt to reach the drug lab they’ve been hired to destroy, and discover that things might not be as simple as they first thought. A revelation from the narcotic cook places a difficult decision before our mercs - Hyper is much more addictive than the mercs thought, which poses significant consequences for the kids already hooked, and there seems to be some shadowy figure pulling the strings of the drug’s pro...
More drunkenness, and the longest afterdark episode ever.
Welcome to the Drunkisode - this episode is for adult audiences who are happy to hear a group of inebriated RPers stumble their way through the ongoing story. Zaf and Laramie attempt to get a good night’s sleep - some more successfully than others. The duo, in the absence of a very tired Bon, attempt to get a handle on the Wolf of Yarin, the intimidating Archmage researching the Glass Men. Join us for debaucheries both in and...
Discussion of the episode, some minor alteration of what happened at the end, and a nice look at what the 100 million payout will go towards.
The crew attempts to recover L3R0Y and Porkchop from the pipe to The Sink. A fortuitous surgical opportunity provides the necessary supplies for a search and rescue, while the trapped duo hangs on for dear life. Stretch steps up, and Baldwin performs perhaps the most important job of the adventure thus far. Will the lost pair be retrieved, or will the strange horrors of The Sink spell doom for them? Find out on this episode of Moth...
The mercs attempt to dupe the local drug dealer into divulging info on his operation. The exclusive drug, called Hyper, has small-time distribution at the moment, but its popularity among the local kids could change that soon enough. It’s just another day in beautiful Night City as the mercs deal with the dealer and try to get a bead on the supply chain. Hopefully the fixer, Frenchie, will approve of their methods.
A look at the final encounter and what it could mean for the party.
The crew makes their journey to Anchorpoint Station, but not without suffering the boredom and fatigue of cramped travel. Once at Anchorpoint, they try to acclimate to their new surroundings and the harsh life that’s evident on the station. From cutpurses to mercs and deadly hazards, this episode proves that even a leisurely stroll on the space station can be potentially deadly for spacefarers.
A look at character creation choices.
Everyone knows the edgerunners in Night City can’t - or at least shouldn’t - do biz without a fixer. A fixer scouts jobs, curates crews, and makes sure the right people get a cut when things inevitably go sideways. The fixer in question right now is Frenchie, who is putting together a crew of no-rep lowdown mercs for what should be a simple job. They each have their own motivations and skillsets, and hopefully this ragt...
Afterdarrrrrrk.
The episode begins with the conclusion to the chase by the Zero Frames of Quito, and then quickly moves into the schemes of our smugglers. They burn through credits in a hurry attempting to prepare themselves for their offworld seed export. Plan with the crew as they determine how much plastic surgery is enough plastic surgery, how to keister the seeds in an android, and who’s comfortable with back alley surgery.
GM Sean leads the players through the final touches of their character creation. We’re introduced to each player character in turn, as Sean and the players flesh out their backstories and lives leading up to the adventure. Along the way, we discover some of the lore of Night City in the year 2045 - the Time of the Red. Join us for the first episode in a new campaign as we embrace what it means to be cyberpunk.
Shadowdark Gandalf, or lies? The plot thickens.
In the aftermath of a party death, the remaining members pick up the pieces, come into some money, and drink their troubles away in another fit of carousing. Laramie, in particular, has an eventful day as he gets deep inside of goblin culture. After the fallout from their carousing, the group finally sets off for the Glass Men - a group of petrified adventurers deep in the desert. Hoping to fulfill their bargain with Hesta the Djin...
Wounds, 420, and trickery.
Killing a Martian is no simple thing, as the crew finds out in this episode. Eager to mod themselves and cash in on the Martian corpse they produced in the last episode, the crew quickly realizes that such an act won’t go unanswered. When droids come knocking on the door of the ripperdoc, the crew is faced with the age old choice - fight or flight. Check out this episode of Games in the Dark to see which choice prevails.
We talk about character choices over meta play, and the benefits and drawbacks of random encounters!
