This is the episode that establishes all of the “beefs,” Laura and Nellie, Harriet and Caroline, and Pa versus anyone in WG who looks at Caroline sideways. Laura and Mary struggle to fit into their new school where Nellie calls them country girls, even though every single kid in the school is a country person. There is an egg fight between Caroline and Harriet, and Pa is at peak Pa.
