Speaker 1 (00:00):
you know, I've known this guy a while.
I trust him.
If I were ever to do somethingthis crazy, you know why not,
you know, and I, I'd have my carwith me if I needed to flee in
the middle of the night tosafety or whatever.
Go get a hotel.
I was good.
So, um, and he kept telling meyou'll either be hooked or
you'll never step foot in aplace like this again.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Well, hey everybody, welcome back.
Hey everyone, I'm Logan and I'mNicole and we are Generation X
Paranormal.
I don't know why I said it thatway, by the way, I don't know,
mixing it up a little bit, Idon't know.
Well, folks, we've got, like Ialways say, we've got a great
show.
But I'm really excited to talkto these guys because, gear, if

(01:12):
you do anything with theparanormal, Any kind of
investigating.
Any kind of investigating.
You know that you better havesome deep pockets because it is
not cheap.
In fact, I think we've spentprobably more than our fair
share of money on paranormalequipment over the last year.
That, yes, we have.
Yeah, we won't go too far intoit because it could be unhealthy

(01:36):
, I don't know.
I'm not sure.
But anyway.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Everybody in this field knows, though, that it's
an unhealthy hobby, that's right, you know, just thousands and
thousands of dollars, why not?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Anyway, guys, so, if you hadn't guessed already,
we're talking to not only acouple that does what we do,
that does paranormalinvestigation, but they are also
making their own gear.
Ok, and we're going to betalking to Mark and Tina, and
they are from journey into thehaunted and they make their own

(02:08):
custom gear.
Um, and I and I just I'm kindof fanboying over them because
they just, first of all, theyjust got some really cool stuff,
they're innovative and, um,yeah, I, I really can't wait to
talk to them.
Yeah, well, let's get to it thenlet's do it well, hey mark, hey
tina, how you doing hey, howare you?
We're doing good.
We're doing good, um, trying tofigure out the weather here in

(02:31):
missouri.
I don't know you guys, whereare you guys based out of?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
we're northeast nebraska okay, yeah, we're.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
We're southwest missouri, and I'm pretty sure
that there's a demonic presencein charge of the weather out
here because it just never itwas 70 some degrees the other
day.
Yeah, yeah yeah, my uh.
So I drive a Wrangler and, uh,I wanted, and I had it into the
shop, so to speak, and I didn'thave it for the one day it was

(02:58):
70 degrees.
I could have, could have hadthe top down and having a good
time, but oh well, we'll becomplaining about it being hot.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, I'm not complaining too much because
it's been a pretty mild winterfor us, but we have three Ford
Mustangs and so I can totallyfeel your ear.
Yeah, we were.
We were chomping at the bitwanting to go out and play on
those uh nice days.
So, yeah, I'm sure, yeah, we uhwe were.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
We not recently, but within the last couple years or
so we went to uh well, we kindof did, the whole east coast.
We, we went to savannah, thendrove all the way up to north.
Well, actually to virginia andthen back down and we rented a
uh mustang convertible uh redone and yeah, that was a lot of
fun.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
That sounds like an awesome trip.
I bet it was beautiful.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
It was, it was.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
But listen, you know I'm sure we're going to get into
kind of the.
You know what you guys havegoing on, especially with the
shop and stuff like that.
But can you kind of give ouraudience a kind of a rundown of
what got you to this point, howyou got into the paranormal,
anything about you guys that youkind of want our audience to
know?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
All right.
Well, it kind of all startedwith me and the odd thing is I,
you know, I find most peoplethat are in the paranormal have
had some sort of exposure tothings growing up.
You know, have some stories orsome things that really
intrigued them and drew theminto the field.
Me, no, not so much.

(04:31):
I certainly was the kid thoughthat was afraid of the dark,
Like I was terrified ofeverything.
So for me to do anything in theparanormal field, I, you know,
years ago, would have saidthere's no way you can't pay me
to step foot in a haunted house.
And now I'm paying to step footin a haunted house.

(04:51):
But it happened really kind ofstrangely.
You know, I mentioned our FordMustangs.
We run a Ford Mustang club herein the kind of Sioux City, iowa
area.
So we've got Iowa, nebraska andSouth Dakota folks, awesome
club and all that, and ourmembers are really great about,

(05:13):
you know, suggesting activitiesand stuff.
And we had a new guy come along.
His name was Robert and fundedhim on Facebook, as I do with
most of our members and he's hewas a paranormal investigator.
I had no idea he was doing that.
So at that time I was watching alot of the shows on TV and
stuff.
So I was very intrigued aboutthe things that were happening
for him and I just was like no,there's no way I'd ever do that.

(05:35):
But that's so cool.
And at one point he's like youknow, it'd be cool to take the
club down to this place calledmalvern manor.
It's about two hours, I think, from yeah, um.
So he's like that'd be kind ofcool, um, what do you think?
And I'm like sure we'll go downdo a day tour, you know.
So we, um, we made this eventand he added in the velisca axe

(05:58):
murder house, which is oh nice, you know infamous.
So, um, words started spreadingand it went out beyond our
little club.
All these people kept sayingthis sounds so amazing, can we
come?
And we're like okay.
And I kept asking him I'm likewe may end up with a lot of
people.
He's like that's fine.
We ended up with 68 fordmustangs cruising from iowa down

(06:21):
into, um, the valisca area.
So if you, I don so, if you'veever been to the Villisca house.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
No, we have not yet.
It's on our short list, butyeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Very, very tiny town, tiny, and so we were parking
cars everywhere.
It was really awesome becausethere were people of all ages
and everything there.
But anyways, and then we hoppedover to Malvern Manor and he
kept telling me you know, me andmy friends are going to stay
the night and do aninvestigation at Malvern Manor.
You should come.

(06:56):
No, I'm not.
And that went on for almost thewhole year that we planned.
And then I don't know, like thethree weeks before or something
, something in me just went.
You know, I've known this guy awhile.
I trust him.
If I were ever to do somethingthis crazy, you know I've known
this guy a while, I trust him.
If I were ever to do somethingthis crazy, you know why not,
you know, and I I'd have my carwith me if I needed to flee in
the middle of the night tosafety or whatever.
Go get a hotel.
I was good.
So um, and he kept telling meyou'll either be hooked or

(07:18):
you'll never step foot in aplace like this again.
And you know a place like thisagain, and you know it was kind
of.
You know, if you could puttogether an evening to take a
newbie into and experience likeall these different realms of
things that happen.
That's what I had my firstnight, which is unheard of.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
So it was very active .

Speaker 1 (07:41):
We had everything under the sun happening and it
was crazy.
And so then I kept kind of he,he would invite me with his team
to go do different things and Ikept jumping on, and then it
just kind of evolved andparanormal equipment's expensive
yes, yes, we know yeah and Ihave a gazillion hobbies.
Now I say my hobby's,collecting hobbies.

(08:03):
So I have a gazillion hobbies.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Now I say my hobbies, collecting hobbies.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
So I have a lot of things that I'm, you know,
trying to spend money on.
And so Mark is kind of acomputer wizard guru kind of guy
and everybody was having thesereally cool paranormal music
boxes that were four or five$600.
I don't know.
Super cool and I really wantedone, but I, I just couldn't

(08:26):
justify spending that much of mymoney on one.
So I'm like, hey, you know, here's this video of somebody
online that made one.
You know, can you, can you dothat?
And so he made one.
And then, um, people startedwanting to buy them from me.
I'm like, okay, well, what doyou think?
And he's like, okay, so he kepttweaking it and, you know, kind

(08:46):
of got the innards down toeverything he liked about it and
we had sold so many of them.
At that point it was like weeither need to stop because you
know there's all the fun thingswith business, of tax income and
all of that stuff that youeither need to stop, or you need
to start filing it on taxreturns and all that right.

(09:06):
And so he's like, you know,we're either going to go in or
we're going to just kind of layback on it, and we decided to
just kind of jump into it.
So, um, that's kind of how thethe small business started.
And then from there, peoplethat started buying stuff
through me on etsy were like, hey, we're going to be in
Missouri, that's not too farfrom you, you want to come join

(09:28):
us?
And I'm like, yes, this isamazing.
So I'd go out and meet them andI have made some amazing
friends, and it's just peoplethat have bought something
through our Etsy store.
And so then I kept giving Markkind of a hard time because,
like you know, you're abusinessman now you should
really come out and go on theseinvestigations with me.

(09:50):
And I kept telling him I'm likethese people are so much fun, we
have so much fun together.
I really think you would enjoythis.
And he came out and he's done afew things and he comes along
pretty much all the time.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Now for the most part unwillingly, but yeah, so wait
a minute let me see if I've gotthis right for just a second
through this

Speaker 2 (10:14):
your freshman outing, the first time you ever stepped
foot in a paranormal hot spot, you chose, or the malvern manor
is where you went that's where Iwent, right right yeah, mine
was waverly.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Oh, even better, even better that happened is one
year for my birthday.
He gave me a birthday card andhe said he would go on an
investigation with me wherever Iwanted.
And I said wherever.
And he said wherever you wantit.
And I said wherever.
And he said wherever you want Iwill go.
And I don't know that.
I even hesitated and it wasWaverly Hills.

(10:51):
And so we planned a little longweekend road trip and we went up
to Waverly and it was kind ofat some point during COVID
because they had like reallyreduced numbers of people for
the public tour, so we did likea walking history tour and then
we booked the overnight.

(11:12):
Overnight right after that andsince we had already done all
the history, they just turned usloose.
I think we saw like two peoplethe entire time we were there.
So it was kind of like we hadWaverly to ourselves, wow.
And Waverly did not disappoint.
I mean, he, he was taking offand talking to stuff and I'm
what is going on?

(11:32):
He was having stuff just rightout the gate at Waverly and so I
was just like, yes, you know itwas pretty cool, wow.
But yeah, so mine was MelbourneManor here in Iowa, it's pretty
cool.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Yeah, so mine was Melbourne Manor here in Iowa.
It's pretty much two hoursright from my doorstep and it
continues to be one of myfavorite places to go.
You know, over the years I'velearned a lot of the history and
the owner continues to findmore information on it and you
just kind of keep gettingdrugged to some of those kind of

(12:04):
places you know and and I justthat's my, one of my favorite
places to go.
So that was mine and he he gotwaverly hills.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
So those are great ones, yeah, yeah I gotta ask
marcus.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
So or do you prefer mark, either one.
Okay, um, what, what?
I'm still turning out my headaround the fact that his first I
know I can't believe that sowhat was your first impression
with going into this, whereyou're like, because I don't
know how much, um, well, I guesshow much evidence or whatever
you collected there, but youknow how much experience you had

(12:41):
during your time there.
But well, what did you thinkafter that?

Speaker 5 (12:47):
well, I mean it was, it's interesting, I will give
you that much.
Um, but probably within thefirst 20 minutes of being in
there by ourselves, I was downat the one end of the uh floor
by myself and I'm hearing awoman say hello, you know, and
it was sounded like the floorabove me and I know nobody else

(13:09):
is in the building.
And then there was a it wassame floor like in that back
hallway.
You know how they have therooms in the front and then
there's only and then the nextset of rooms.
Yep, I was walking down thathallway and I caught like a
flash of light out of the cornerof my eye and I uh stopped and

(13:30):
I backed up and I looked in theroom and all the windows are,
you know, covered.
I mean, it's pitch black inthis room.
So I walk in the room kind ofturn around, and it's just as
I'm getting ready to walk out ofthe room the lens cap falls off
of my camera and it's the kindthat you know, it's the slr
where it's screwed on yes yeah, fell off.

(13:53):
Never have had it far off beforeor since.
Pick it up off the ground, screw it back on and it uh, when
I left the room I made notethere was like a marking on the
wall by the door and justrandomly through the night it's
like oh my God, do you just hearthat?
Or whatever.
And we'd look and it was alwaysright in front of that room

(14:13):
like all night long.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
That's wild.
It's like it's something thatjust kept drawing us back to
that room?

Speaker 5 (14:21):
Yeah, there was.
You know, we had the noise inthe shoot area there was tapping
when we were in the mortuary.
There's just weird stuff allnight.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
That's so crazy, man.
I don't even I'm trying toremember what my first real
experience was as far as likeinvestigating.
It certainly was not waverly.
Um, I mean, I kind of alwaysdid it, even when I was a kid.
But I think the first time Iever really went somewhere with
an intent to actually, I guess, experience something uh

(14:56):
paranormal was probably thewhaley house in san diego,
because I was raised somewhat uh, in well, I was raised on the
west coast but, um, I wentthrough high school in San Diego
.
So, um, yeah, I think that'sprobably it in that place.
You guys ever get a chance to gothere?
I've heard of it.
Yeah, it is, it's insane, butuh, but no, it certainly wasn't

(15:21):
Waverly, that's something Okay.
Now that I get to digest thatfor a second, that's probably
going to floor a lot of ouraudience, because we always say
don't do something huge thefirst time up, because it can
definitely get out and grab youand it's extremely addictive if
you do get into it, kind of thatrush, you know and I'm sure you

(15:43):
guys know what we're talkingabout where you know you're
scared out of your you know what, and then, but you don't, you
can't stop, you know it's anywayI I digress because I'm still
just really floored by that'sfreaking awesome.
So there was a.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
Somebody posted a was it 100 locations in the US
haunted locations?
It's one of those where youscratch it off when you've been
there.
Yeah, I had like 26 of them offthat list already.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Nice yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
So you guys are sure probably done.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Atchison, then right.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Yes, yeah, that's another fun one for us.
I love the McIntyre Villa.
We've been there a number oftimes, did you do?

Speaker 4 (16:28):
an overnight Um.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
I think we've just wrote out our schedule for this
year and I think we're going tobe at McIntyre um with some
teams that have invited us likethree or four times and I've
done, we've done the day stuffat the Sally house, but we've
never done an overnight.
And we are some girls, uh, thehaunting angels um to do the

(16:51):
sally house for an overnight.
So that'll be the first timeovernight there.
So I'm looking forward to that.
Yeah, I I never.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Yeah, we haven't.
We stopped outside of itbecause we were in atchison, but
we haven't been in it yeah, wewere actually going to do.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
This is an interesting trip and I don't
know if you guys are familiarwith mike and sam or not yes,
yeah, so we're pretty closefriends with Mike and Sam, we're
actually going to McIntyre thisspring with them.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Yeah, but we were doing a Glore.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
The Glore Psychiatric , the Cycistica Mount to.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Glore Psychiatric.
So you know we're there, we'relike, okay, let's go to Atchison
.
Just you know it's so close.
And we, we went to the Sallyhouse and I got and again, I'm a
big believer.
My audience knows and I'm sureyou guys probably feel the same
I, even though I have ITC stuffon my phone, I'm very I like to

(17:39):
run two different things at thesame time, so I'll run ITC while
I run something else, just tosee kind of where it goes.
But we went on to the Sallyhouse and and I had the ghost
tube box thing open and the onlyreason I gave that just a tiny
bit of credence is because itsaid podcast.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
It's a podcast.
It's a podcast and we werestanding on the porch, standing
on the porch of the Sally House.
Yeah, it was really weird.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I could never really explain that.
I tried to explain it awaybecause I know that uses
sampling on a whole bunch ofdifferent things and different
stations.
But how in the world would ithave known that we were there
and we were a podcast?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
It was really weird.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
It was wild.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
But anyway, yeah, we've had some fun and I'm glad
you've scratched off 26, right26 from the world.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Yeah, there's a lot of them yeah.
Well, it was a lot more than Ithought.
I was going to scratch off thelist, yeah Well that's great,
that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Yeah, it gets super addictive.
We get it In fact.
We just did a haunted morguehere locally and probably some
of the best I would say kind of.
We took a K2, which, by the way, we're going to plug something
for you here in a second.
We took a K2 and a REM pod andwe had them pretty decently

(19:03):
apart in a bathroom that had amorgue table on it Autopsy table
.
And I have a medical background.
That's what even makes it worsebut, um but anyway, we had a
morgue table on there and we gotlike independent.
It would flip back and forthbetween the.
The k2 would max out and thenthe rem pod would go off and

(19:25):
then the light in the bathroomwould dim a little bit.
When it would do that, it wascrazy.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
It was our first experience of that happening.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I've never seen anything three times in a row.
It just kept going and I waslike that gave me the shivers
just a little bit you'restanding right next to an
autopsy table, yeah hit us inthe fields, for sure yeah, but
I'm gonna plug something we'regonna get into the shop here in
a second because we did utilizethis awesome uh little stand
here yeah, this actually savedus from having to figure out

(19:56):
where to put this thing, but uh,but yeah yeah, we're.
We're as I say to our audiencethose of you who are, who are
listening and not watching thatwe're not only uh interviewing,
but we're also clients so, yes, yes, yes, we appreciate that so
much so that gives us a goodpivot.
Let's talk about and I know yousaid you know obviously trying

(20:16):
to go from just what you'redoing prior into a business part
to it, as we all know anybodywho does this for any limited or
short amount of time.
If you're into the paranormal, you better have very deep
pockets, because it just itseems like everybody constantly
comes up with something new andif your team doesn't have it and

(20:38):
you're investigating, nobodywants to hear you because you
don't have this or you knowwe've debunked this.
So why are you even using thatanymore?
Here's this new thing.
So yeah, it's it.
I wish a long time ago and I'mlike you, marcus, I I have a
technical background, I'mactually a network engineer by

(20:59):
trade.
So I wish I'd have known backthen that I could have gone into
this line of work and probablymade hand over fist the kind of
money.
But, but no, I didn't.
I went to college and wasstupid and spent a lot of money
to to find out I probably shouldhave done this anyway.
Um, but uh, but yeah, so whatkind of?
What kind of started you downthe path, other than, of course,

(21:22):
you didn't want to spend allthat stinking money?

Speaker 1 (21:25):
that was really kind of it and we both like, just by
nature, we like to be busy likewe.
It really kind of it.
And we both like, just bynature, we like to be busy Like
we.
It's kind of a joke, like Imean, we are, we are never home,
like we're always out doingsomething with one of our
gazillion hobbies.
You know, we do a lot with ourcars and we're both
photographers and we'll just hopin the car and go take pictures

(21:47):
one afternoon.
I mean, we, we just like tostay busy.
So it was kind of a tinkeringthing too.
So, um, so that's kind of youknow, it was like I want this
and I know you can do it, I knowyou can, and he did.
And then once those started thesales on that were picking up.
It was like, okay, so what else?
What else can we do?

(22:08):
Like, cause, this is kind ofcool, we started building this,
I guess, little community ofpeople that you know came into
our shop and then hung aroundand are still hanging around and
picking up whatever we've got.
But, um, you know, I think Idon't know what really the next
thing was that we started doing.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
I'm pretty sure it was either the cat ball stand or
the K2 stand.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Yeah, yeah, it was you know and we've got.
Can you see that?
I can't see the screen.
So but yeah, these silly littlecat ball stands.
We started doing yeah, yeah, just something so simple.
But you know a lot of theplaces.
You're on an uneven floor, you're on dirt, whatever, and

(22:52):
this little guy just holds itright there for you and a lot of
people were concerned that, oh,it's not going to go off.
And it certainly does.
And so many people have saidyou know, even with this, I
trust that it's a positivereaction because it kind of
takes away the probability of itgoing around or something.
Absolutely.
But, the other thing I like isthat it makes your capitals

(23:14):
easier to find when you're doneand you're tired and you're
trying to find all the stuff youleave behind.
Right, you have these littlethings.
You're like, oh, there's thecat ball, because they're hard
to hard to see.
And then, yeah, you guys havethe k2 stand.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
I love them yeah, um, and we got the copper one oh,
yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Yeah, we had that copper.
Somebody mentioned copper to usand so we looked into it and
and got that in and starteddoing those.
They've been really good for ustoo.
But that's kind of how itstarted.
And then, you know, I wastrying, we kept trying to think
of other things we could do,because, um, well, and I'm
talking an awful lot but helikes computer stuff and things

(23:59):
he can tinker with, and so weended up getting a 3d printer,
which is how we started makingthat stuff.
And so then I'm like you know,it's fun to have all these
colors.
Um, you buy all this equipment.
It's all black, you can't seeit in your bag, all that.
So, yeah, I think we've we'vegot like all these colors and
we've got more that aren't evenon here now, but and we've got
stuff that glows in the dark andit's just we've got one of

(24:22):
those.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
We haven't used it yet, but oh look you can't see
it because of the green screen Ijust saw that it should be
green and red.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
yeah, and it doesn't really show up the yes or no
yeah for those just listening tothe podcast, I'm holding up one
of their yes-no things for thecat ball stand and you cannot
see the yes because it's green.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
It looks white.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
It looks white, it's green it kind of looks like the
Domino Pizza thing.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Yeah, there you go, there, it is Perfect, is that,
is it?
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (24:54):
yeah, you know something that I'm I'm I guess
I'm really not taking it backbecause it just getting to know
you guys, just for this fewlittle bit that we've talked.
You know there's a lot ofproducts out there that's made
by companies and things likethat that you don't feel like
maybe they are actualinvestigators.

(25:15):
You know, it may be nice, itmay look cool, but you realize
that I don't know.
This is definitely thought upof.
You know on the fly, but I don'tknow that there was really a
hands on a hands on somebodythat knew what they were doing,
or if they did, they just didn'treally care about the
ergonomics and trying to figureit out as a as a paranormal
investigator.

(25:35):
In fact, like you said in themiddle of the night, two, three
o'clock in the morning, youhaven't slept yet it is so hard
to find a black.
You know k2 and the cat balls, and the cat balls we had to
recount.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
I couldn't even remember how many?

Speaker 2 (25:50):
and I think that's why because, being frank, we
look at a lot of different gearbecause of what we do and we
kind of like your approach toeverything, because we feel like
these are people and theyunderstand what we're doing.
You know, they understand that.
You know, make a bright color, make it look cool, make
something that that serves afunction but isn't overbearing.

(26:12):
Um, you know, you look at someof the like okay, this is a show
and tell hour, so those who arelistening, we're going to be
holding up random products.
So if you guys want to watchwhat it was, come to the video
on youtube.
But we got the uh, the musicbox and uh.
What I find awesome about thisis it's so simple but amazing.

(26:33):
Amazing it's.
Yeah, it really is.
First of all, we got someincredible evidence that we're
going to be putting out at thatmorgue, by the way, but it's
responsive.
It's not one of those wherewe've bought stuff from the
leading.
You know, the, the shop, so tospeak, and the stop.
I should stay.
Yeah, we all know what that oneis.

(26:55):
And you know, I just feel likesome of that stuff, while great,
I just don't know that it hasthe you know it doesn't always
have the quality that I'd liketo see.
Now they have a great customerservice.
I'm not gonna say anything badabout them.
But you know, it's the money.
You know, and knowing what wespent for some of this stuff, it
is, in my opinion, it's, it's afraction of what that should

(27:17):
have gone for you know, on those, and quite frankly I think it's
better, yeah, but uh, agreed, what kind of marks?
If you could kind of tell us,you know, you don't have to go
totally under the hood so peopledon't make these on their own.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Leave out the secret ingredient.
Leave out the secret ingredient$1,000,.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
I'll sell you the blue cards.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
What kind of went into the making of the music box
for you guys?
Obviously you did enoughresearch.
You kind of figured out okay, this is going to work this way.
What kind of walk?
Walk us through that process alittle bit.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
So the initial the first, very first music box that
I did was it was from a videothat I saw Tina forward to me
from YouTube, or something thatI saw Tina forward to me from
YouTube or something.
But essentially what it was isyou know how they have those

(28:18):
cards and when you open them.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
They play the music or whatever.
A voice or something.
Reading card.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Reading card yeah, well, the first one we did
actually used that mechanism.
It basically had a light sensoron it and then the motion
sensor that's on the front wouldlight an LED, and that light
from the LED would turn themusic on.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
hmm, like the initial ones we first did.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
There's only a couple of them, but that's how they
worked, okay, okay.
And then from there we kind ofdid some research and found an
actual circuit board that didmore what we wanted and how we
wanted.
So we could do, you know, wecould add the customizations and
you can change all the settingsand the adjustments and all

(29:07):
that.
I mean that was all stuff thatjust after researching, you know
, we had the basic idea of howwe wanted it to work and then we
just found a better way to doit.
Essentially, yeah and then wemoved from when we started.
They were all wooden boxes andnow we've migrated up to the 3d

(29:28):
printed boxes.
And now we have the ability, even with the 3d printed boxes,
to customize them and put youknow, team logos and whatever
you want on them at this point, cool that's so cool.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
I love that yeah, and too with him.
A lot of times I'll ask him heywell, can you do this?
And you'll be like no, Trust me, I know.
No means all right.
The wheels are spinning.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yep Right.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
He can't stand to not know how to do something.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Right, I understand that.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
That's my advantage.
So I'm like, okay, so if itdoes this well, can we do this,
Can it?
You know, kind of do thisinstead, and so that's.
I think we decided we're onlike the third or fourth
reiteration of the music boxesand I think they're staying the
way they are now yeah, got himwhere the initial one.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
When we made it, it went with Tina on investigations
and she was using it and that'syou know.
She wanted to try it out andmake sure it would work the way
she wanted before we went anyfurther with it.
Essentially right, yeah, a lotof the, a lot of the equipment
that we've developed or havedone has been at a request from

(30:40):
somebody.
Honestly, whether it's tina orother people have said hey, you
know, it'd be great if you couldcome up with something like
this.
You know what I mean.
Yeah, um, honestly, our newestpiece of equipment that's how
that came to be uh, the burstbox, yes, okay, was because
somebody had suggested.
You know, I used to have one ofthese, it was great, but the

(31:03):
guy doesn't make them anymore.
Is this something you might beable to do?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
and we figured out how to do it and when he he says
we it's, it's very much.
So have our own own things, thatwe just handle it and we've
never sat down and discussed it.
It's just how we are.
We, like you know he handlesthis stuff, I handle this stuff.
I try and help him when I can.
But I mean the biggest burdenof inspiration is we're burdened

(31:29):
, because it's totally not, butthe biggest, um you know,
efforts to make this continue tohappen is because of what he
can do.
Without him this wouldn't.
I can't hear any of this stuffevery man has his muse.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Yeah, we have a we a we as well, even though we do
separate things.
But you know what?

Speaker 1 (31:48):
yes, we in, but it's, it's all him.
But yeah, yeah and miss um, Ihad never even seen one or heard
of one when, um, somebody hadbrought this to our attention
and you know, we've we've talkedreal briefly about, like, when
you first get into this, you'respending all this money buying
all this stuff and then youaren't using it and and and I, I

(32:11):
stepped in ever so lightly andI was lucky to be invited along
with people that had all thisreally cool gear and so I really
didn't buy much because I was,you know, kind of a fly on the
wall, just learning and I'mstill constantly learning, which
I love, um, but I didn't have awhole lot of stuff and so I

(32:33):
still really don't.
I I go pretty light, um, I don'tdo videos because I I stay so
busy, I really don't have muchtime to review anything.
And one of the first things hehad gotten me was just a, an EVP
recorder, and I would use itand then I'd get home and I'd be
so tired and then I would neverlisten to it.
And then the next investigationcomes along and I just kind of

(32:56):
stopped using the EVP record, the digital recorder, and it's
really a shame, because so manycool things come across on there
.
This I'm like, yes, you need tofigure this out, because it
records in like 90, 90 secondincrements so you can ask, you
know, two, three questions andthen you can two minutes long.

(33:18):
It'll record two minutes, okay, okay you can immediately play it
back, and the coolest part isit's got this little volume
control on it so you can crankup that playback on it.
Um, and then your evp isreviewed right on the spot one,
one thing it doesn't do is itdoesn't have any internal memory
.
So if you don't catch anything, you can go right over top of it.

(33:38):
If you do catch something, youknow you can put your phone up
and record it or get it on yourvideo.
It may not be for everybody, but I think it's pretty cool
because your EVP sessions aredone and and two, it helps.
Um, you know, uh, coldmedicines catching up with me.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
You're fine.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
It helps guide your, your session, you know right now
, and that happens with real EVP.
You know digital recorders too,but it just helps guide
everything.
And um, you had mentioned glorepsychiatric.
Yes, the very first place wewent after he had finalized the
box was glore.
And, um, it was the first time Ithink I had investigated there

(34:22):
and we were down in the tunnelsand it was getting close to
being the end of the night andI'm usually not one that ever
senses things or feels thingsthat are weird, but something
that night just started feelingweird to me and I was with some
other girls and they kind ofhave some sensitive abilities
and they don't really say a lot, they like to see if other

(34:43):
people pick up on things.
But we all kind of startedtalking about that and we were
doing a burst recorder and youcould hear and I had made the
comment, I feel like something'sbehind me and again for me to
say something like that, it'sreally really out there, because
I just don't feel that.
But we played this back andthere was this breath that just

(35:03):
went wow, it was so freaky, wow, that was cool, because we we
did not hear that at all andwhen we played it back and
cranked that volume up.
We picked that up and it wasjust like wow yeah, those
tunnels are crazy.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yeah, we got a scream .
Did mike get a?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
scream on the recorder when we were standing
in there, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
And what it's interesting?
Because, to this very point, mike Mike had a DR 60.
Now I'm not going to go out andsell my car to buy one, but he
had one and, um, anyway, he, heplayed it and there is some
crazy EVPs down there that youcan get a lot and your box, I
think, serves such a good.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
That's.
The one thing I don't like islike we have to wait till the
end and go home and listen to it, and if we would have known
what we got.
Right, you can go off of thoseevps, so yeah, that that's,
that's great.
And you can't afford a dr60?
Yeah, even if we can, I don'tknow that I'm gonna get one.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
It just they're so anyway.
But what's nice is if you havethat.
So I'm a big believer inrunning dual uh, dual sets of
data and I'm sure you guys wouldunderstand that I'm a big.
If you're running an itc, runsomething analog, just to see
what you're going to get, because it's not about the, the

(36:26):
crazy evp that you picked up onthis one time.
I think you have to build kindof like this Picasso of stuff
and kind of throw it together toget a real feeling on what you
actually have.
So having differential datapoints.
So let's say you've got a DR 60or like we've got a zoom and

(36:46):
like if we have the zoom outthere, a device like yours would
be great because you can alwaysrun.
Like, if we have the Zoom outthere, a device like yours would
be great because you can alwaysrun.
Like you said, hey, I don'tneed to know what happened four
hours ago, that this thing'srecording, I just need to know
what did we just hear?
What do we think is going onhere?
And even if you pick it up onlike your box, you're still
going to pick it up on anotheraudio equipment, especially if

(37:17):
it's something like a Zoom orDR-60 or something like that.
So kind of like you said, ifyou have something like that,
bring it up close to your boxand when you hit it you get
still get your sample, I thinkit's.
That's a great stop gap, and Iknow those have existed kind of
before, but kind of I like theway your setup kind of works.
I know with a lot of those youdon't really get the volume as
much.
If I remember right, there wasone I saw where it had even a
smaller amount of recording butit was a burst recorder, the

(37:39):
same kind of thing.
But I think there was.
There was a lot of stuff thatwas missing for lack of better
words, but it doesn't reallysound like yours does either.
So that's, that's really good, and I know that you probably
would have thought of like well,I could put an input out so
that it can record to somethingelse.
But that's really not, in myopinion, the design of that, the
whole point of that, is kind ofdown and dirty, and get it out

(38:00):
as quick as you can.

Speaker 5 (38:02):
Yeah, I mean the whole point of it is more of a
just real quick session.
I mean you could honestly haveyour regular EVP recorder just
recording normal and just usethis to supplement your
investigation Exactly.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
Exactly no, it's a great box.
In fact, we'll probably end upgetting it.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
It's on our list.
Yeah, it's on our list.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
So another thing that I you know we talk about this
before where you see a lot offolks that make different types
of gear and we've run the gamut,we've we've thrown some money
down the proverbial hole onstuff where we're just like okay
, that was a complete waste ofmoney.
In fact, we just did itrecently.
Won't go into who and why, butuh that was not what we expected

(38:46):
but what I like a lot of it isthe durability.
I feel like everything you guysmake is kind of meant to be.
You know, yeah, you don't wantto obviously run it over with
your truck, but you know it'smeant you can give a little bit
of push and pull with it, whichis nice, and yeah, these are the
best.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
By the way.
We wanted to mention yourbattery boxes.
This because this has changedeverything.
Yeah, game changer, yes, yes, yes, yes, they're fantastic.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Yeah, we use the heck out of these.
I honestly don't know what Iwould have done without them,
Because I think to myself well,of course that makes sense.
You know why?
The hell wouldn't anybody makesomething like that?
So, like I said, we're fans, weenjoy the stuff.
That's why I feel like it's I'mgoing to use a tagline here and

(39:34):
you can take it.
If you don't have it, it's notgoing to be great, but it's gear
that is made by paranormalinvestigators for paranormal
investigators.
I don't feel like it's gearthat's like thought up in a lab
and just really doesn't have asmuch practical use to it.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
I would say that's accurate.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
For sure and keep it simple.
That's kind of you know.
We're trying to just keepthings really simple.
And you know another thing likeI don't really have a cool gear
bag, or you know, some peoplehave the coolest stuff and I
would love to do that, but Ijust get.
So, you know, two in themorning rolls around, I am tired
and this is just me how Ifunction.

(40:18):
But for me, to go back and puteverything in its little place
and I'm so jealous of peoplethat have this in them because
they always have the neatestlooking little cases Me, I'm a
mess.
My, I have a backpack.
It gets flown open, everythinggets dumped in this backpack and
off I go and um, so that Ithink that speaks a lot to the
durability of things.

(40:39):
And Mark, he's really not thathe doesn't impress me all the
time, because he does, and it'sreally annoying.
I continue to be impressed withhow meticulous he is with
everything he does and how cleanstuff is.
If you were to open up theboxes and look inside there and
stuff like he just buildseverything so nice and clean and

(41:00):
neat, everything's got a littleplace and stuff like he, he
just builds everything so niceand clean and neat, everything's
got a little place and stuff.
And then, too, the only thing Ihave to worry about when I
travel is my um music boxgetting bumped power on and I'm
halfway down the interstate andthe paranormal music box starts
playing and you force projectout of your body for a second so

(41:25):
everything's pretty sturdy, butthat happens every now and then
.
And then too, um, we wanted tobuild kind of our own version of
like a little uh rem pod.
And one thing I thought was acool idea, which I I'd seen
other rem pods like this.
It just has the detachableantenna, because throwing all
this junk in my backpack theantennas get, you know, wonky or

(41:47):
bent out of shape and stuff, and so I can just pull this
apart, put this in a compartment, throw this in my bag, and I'm
not have to worry about it yeah,we're on our second antenna
already with our recent rem podso yeah I get it the screwing on
that gets annoying yeah, um,that's really cool I'll say this
, though I love the simplicityof, because we are those that

(42:08):
have the, you know, the Pelicancases and the foam.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
Yeah, now we are.
Now we are.
We didn't used to be.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
But trying to make a cutout for something like this,
you know, or like we've got acouple of God, even the thing we
got from Katie Stafford, thatthing is a monster to try to put
in a foam, but the simplicityto put this in a foam is
ridiculous.
It's amazing.
So even for those who do havethat, which I, unfortunately,

(42:36):
I'm really bad about I'm very.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
With his tech, he has to be very precise.
Everything's velcroed.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Everything's put put.
I'm a network engineer.

Speaker 5 (42:46):
I'm sorry, I just let's just put it this way if it
was my gear bag, it would bemore like the pelican case with
the palm.
Yeah, everything labeled whereit needs to go yeah, yeah, but
still listen.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
It's so funny.
Those people always marry eachother and I think it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Those people always marry each other, and I think
it's the funniest thing.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
But what we do is we trade off.
Where I'm really really tightwith those sort of things, the
other stuff I'm not, and she isso it's like it's a really nice
balance.

Speaker 4 (43:15):
It's a balance yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
So, okay, we've kind of covered a little bit about
the shop.
I do want to mention one morething because I just saw it
recently.
Now, the shop.
I do want to mention one morething because I just saw it
recently.
You've been posting somethingnew that you're making and
they're little figures and I'lllet you talk about that because
I think they are the cutestthings in the world.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
They are so adorable and this again was me just going
hey, I think these would be funto put in the shop.
I like them.
I think other people would likethem.
So I had him start and he mademe this little.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Mothman, that's so cute.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Adorable, yes.
And then he made a pink one anda purple one, and then we had a
great response with Mothman, which everybody Everybody loves
Mothman.
So we kind of dove into some ofthe other little cryptids and
stuff that we're making andwe've got, like we've got the
Loveland frog, we've gotSasquatch Krampus I think

(44:11):
Krampus is my favorite.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
Oh, that's really cool, just the cutest little
thing.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
And like we've got the Jersey devil, we've got
several more and we've got someback running on the printers
right now.
So we're doing a vendor eventhere in a couple weeks.
So I'm thinking those are goingto be a good thing for us,
because they are.
They are super cute.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
They are very, very cute, are you guys?

Speaker 3 (44:36):
at.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Missouri Paracon.

Speaker 3 (44:37):
Is that where you're going?
Yeah, we'll be there.
Yeah, we'll be there too.
Oh, awesome, awesome Okay.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
So first of all, all like we talked about all the
really cool stuff that you havedo you guys have kind of like,
uh, I know everything kind ofstays in like a symbiote
stationary time for a littlewhile, but then you always think
about okay, what's the what'snext, what's the next pivot,
what are we looking at?
Do you guys kind of have thatkind of in mind?

Speaker 5 (45:07):
I have a very large tub of stuff that we're kind of
messing around with at themoment, um.
We've had several requests forum like temperature sensors and
like an EMF detector that doesmultiple directions or has

(45:30):
directionality that can tell youwhere the EMF is coming from.
Nice We've had silent devices, you know one that'll only
display a light and won'tactually play a sound or
anything.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
we've had several people ask about those yeah,
we've had, um, I think it'spretty amazing.
But there's um a few um hearingimpaired teams out there and
they have.
Actually we've heard frommultiple of them that said they
would like a like a silent,silent device.
They don't need the sound.
But and then other people arelike hey, that's kind of a cool

(46:06):
idea, because then you don'thave to sit and listen to the
noises and all of that stuff too, so right, um, so yeah, but
yeah, he's got all kinds ofthings um.
Somebody that was on a video wedid last night said hey, I got
an idea for you.
I'm gonna send you someinformation nice and then I went
through a about where I was atlike, um, some thrift stores and

(46:27):
stuff and I found some reallycool old like radios with the
old radio knobs and all that andthey're like leather and metal
and I'm like, could you liketear the insides out of this and
make it into something?
And he's like I probably can dothat.
It was so we haven't had thetime to really get into that,
but some of those are sittingback there.
He made a Furby REM pod, acouple months ago.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
Oh, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
To do something kind of different Like a boo bear.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
Yeah, that's really cool.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
Those are awesome.
Yeah, we, I think, one of thethings that I so we have the old
style mini mag light.
You know where you couldactually do the light test that
a lot of people are into.
But you know now you can't dothat because the new ones are
LED and they technicallysupposedly don't fit that mold.
Maybe that's something to lookinto too, because I know a lot

(47:17):
of people still like to utilizeit.
It's silent and you could stillkind of halfway figure out
where that flashlight is sort ofon but not, and maybe it can be
manipulated.

Speaker 3 (47:28):
I don't know, it's just that's up to you to figure
out, yep Him.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
But listen, we know that your stuff works, we use it
.
Yeah, we know.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
Highly recommended.
Yes.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
And it's extremely affordable.
Anybody who who wants to, totake that next step.
I know there's a lot of peoplewho are into the paranormal,
that don't investigate, andthat's fine, and I know they
listen to us and watch us too.
But those folks who want to goout and kind of experience it
and and take record of it andthat sort of thing, I couldn't
find a better place to startwith than where your shop is,
because the affordability, thethought that goes into it, it's

(48:11):
durability.
Again, we don't just say as lipservice, we do it, we use it.
So we find it pretty pretty,it's a great spot to be in and
we're so appreciative of youguys having that, that
forethought and being able to dothat for paranormal people as
paranormal people.
So, uh, we, we reallyappreciate that.

(48:31):
But, um, kind of uh, kind ofsort of wrapping up here where,
where can our folks find you?
I know there's the etsy store, but, um, if you kind of want to
give them a rundown on wherethey can kind of get some of
this amazing gear and kind ofget started, Well, we'll be at
the Missouri Paracon.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
I don't know if this will be out before then, but
we'll be there at the end of themonth, the 28th of February
through the 1st of March, inKansas city and then, um, I
think, is that our.
Do we have any other vendorevents right now at the moment?
I don't think so.

(49:13):
Um, but mainly everything goesthrough our Etsy shop.
Uh, so, and if you just go tojourney into the hauntedcom, it
just dumps you right into ourEtsy storefront.
Um, etsy's worked really wellfor us.
The only thing that's kind ofthe downside is, um, when we
want to show a product workingor um in use, etsy does not

(49:37):
allow any music or voice audiowith the video clips that we can
put in etsy.
So that's kind of the one thingI struggle with a little bit.
But when that happens, I put alink in there over to um, our
YouTube page and then you can goin there and see the colors and
I can talk about stuff andexplain stuff and show things a
little bit better.

(49:57):
Um, but yeah, but everythingpretty much goes through Etsy,
unless we end up finding a coolevent to attend, and then we're
on Facebook.
So anything you know.
Shop updates, new products, newevents that we'll be at will all
be on our Facebook page, and wedo some fun little giveaways
over there every now and then.

(50:17):
So if people are interested infollowing us, that would be
amazing.
You might win something cool atsome point.
Very nice.
So, yeah, and we've just gotsome, some fun collabs this year
, coming up with a lot of umwonderful teams from the midwest
and looking down the list ofour um people, I think every

(50:41):
single one of them we have metthrough our shop.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
That's great which?

Speaker 1 (50:46):
it is.
It's incredible.
And the Haunting Angels?
I just did an insaneinvestigation with them in
December in Ohio.
Do not recommend it.
It was freezing cold, I don'tknow what in the world we were
in, but we survived.
But, um, we were setting outour gear and I think they have

(51:09):
like five or six of our musicboxes.
I didn't realize, I didn't putit all together to realize that,
but I had to like fight backtears as she was setting our
gear because they had the very, very first one we made.
It was like a a timeline of ourbusiness, just sitting there on
the deck on the table with youknow they had one of every

(51:30):
iteration we've put out.
And then, once we had the thesedone, and then we um upgraded
our machine and we could startdoing the personalized ones.
They ordered personalized geartoo.
So that's cool, that.

Speaker 4 (51:42):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
That was really cool, but yeah my point with that is
it's just been, um, it's justbeen amazing meeting people
through this and making suchamazing friends and and just
getting to be part of thiscommunity.
It's been really good.

Speaker 5 (51:57):
Yeah, someone asked us once what it felt like to go
somewhere and have somebody pullout your piece of equipment and
use it.
It's really, it's a really coolfeeling, to be honest.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
I bet it is yeah, it really is yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
Well, it again kind of hammers home that feeling
that you know you guys made thisfor people that do what you
love and it shows so of courseyou know they're going to use it
.
It makes perfect sense.
Do you have anything else youwanted to?

Speaker 3 (52:27):
No, I mean, that's the only thing we have right now
from them, but there's more tocome.
There's more to come, okay.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
So in closing, I got to ask Now.
I'll get to yours here in asecond, tina.
But, marcus, what was your andI'm going to break the
proverbial cuss word here whatwas your holy shit moment in
investigation?
What was the one that you takeaway as like, okay, this is that
next level?

Speaker 5 (52:56):
You know, I haven't really hit.
I have one, but it was justmyself scaring myself.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
Yeah, we have those too.

Speaker 5 (53:07):
I'm looking down a hallway and I see a shadow, and
then the shadow moves and then Ilook and it pops its head back
out and then I realize it's myown dumb head.
That was the only time I'veever been like panicked for a
minute right.
I mean, I've had some coolstuff happen, but I haven't had
the oh shit yeah, yeah, for sureI've scared myself.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
I don't know how many freaking times.

Speaker 3 (53:35):
Oh well, you're already hot, you know, your
level is heightened, so in fact, the music box scared the shit
out of us.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
This last one because , yes, it did because we forgot
it was there walked right pastit into the kitchen and I again
I think we both force projectedand had to soil ourselves and
regroup, um, but uh, okay, tina, now I know you've been on on
some stuff, like I.
If I remember right, you were on, uh, the haunted house or the

(54:02):
haunted house was it the haunted, real haunted mansion number?
I think it is.
Oh, yes, yeah, so I know you'vebeen out there, you've done
things and you know, obviously,I mean, it's no Melvorn Manor,
you know your first time up, butwhat's, what's your oh shit
moment?

Speaker 1 (54:21):
um you know they, I've.
I've experienced a lot ofthings and it's really weird
because, like, when I told you Iwas the person that was like
scared of the dark, I would havebeen scared of my own shadow,
probably.
Um, and now for me to go, likeyou know, walk death row on
missouri state pen by myself, the only one in the building it

(54:42):
like almost doesn't even phaseme anymore, which is really
weird.
Um, but um, it really wasn't anoh shit moment, but um, at I
think it was county infirmary, madison seminary I can't
remember which one it was, but Iheard the most clear,
disembodied voice that I've everheard and that was.

(55:04):
That was really cool.
Oh, probably the scary.
The only time I've like I didn'treally run out of the room but
I bailed because it was justgetting to be really crazy was
something in Malvern ManorAnybody that's familiar with
that knows about the shadow manhall and there was just
something eerie as could be,like, um, the pen light was just

(55:30):
kind of like it started like Idon't know, just kind of
pulsating in and out and thingswere just getting really, really
creepy and it was like one ofthose something's gonna happen
that I'm not gonna like.
So I either wait this out or II scram and I got out of there,
because there's yeah, there'sbeen some not so friendly things

(55:51):
there and I don't need anythingcoming home with me yeah, yeah,
you gotta listen to your gut inthose situations.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
If you feel like it's time, it's time to just yeah
take a break take a break I meanmike and sam.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
they had been there recently.
Well, not that real Within thelast six months or so.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
It's been a bit, but yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
And they caught some EVP stuff that just wow, and of
course, I think we recentlywatched, was it?
Ryan Bagheera was out there andhe caught some pretty crazy
stuff too.
So yeah, malvern is quiteinteresting.
But listen, guys, thank you somuch for coming on.
I really appreciate you.

(56:30):
You know, like I said, we'rewe're probably gonna continue to
be clients.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
Yes, we will For sure .

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Yeah, we're just excited to kind of see where
everything goes for you guys andwe're excited to get this stuff
out in the field.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
Well, we appreciate that and all the kind words that
I.
I just can't stress how much weappreciate everybody, whether
it's just sharing a post and,you know, introducing somebody
to our business, or you know thepeople that have been repeat,
you know, um, clients, um, we'rejust, we're just so touched by
everybody and so thankful andit's really helped us grow.

(57:05):
And one thing too we just, youknow, one thing was in my kind
of like five-year plan.
I wanted to get a laserengraver and we just picked one
of those up a couple of weeksago.
So we've been.
You know that's going to helpus expand too.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
So, it's.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
it's been great and without the amazing support
we've had we who knows wherewe'd be.
But we definitely reallyappreciate everybody,
everybody's support, no matterhow big or small.
That's great.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Can't think of a better way to end it than that
guys, thank you so much.
And look forward to talking toyou soon.
Yeah, thank you.
Hey, guys, thanks for coming on.
For those of you who don't know, they were recovering from the
ick that everybody seems to begetting.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
Everyone has it, everybody is.
We had it over New Year's, sowe get it yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
But yeah, it was great having them on.
They're a lot of fun, aren'tthey?
Yeah, they are.
I really like them.
Yeah, you know you get thesense and again I said it quite
a few times during it but youknow the quality of what they do
, the care that goes into it andjust by hearing how Mark kind

(58:11):
of approaches things and youknow they keep in mind the
person that's using it, not justWell, and they take requests
like that's awesome, and theycan, you know, personalize it to
teams.

Speaker 3 (58:21):
I think that's fantastic because you can't do
that anywhere.
No, and even if you could, it'dprobably to teams.
I think that's fantasticbecause you can't do that
anywhere?

Speaker 2 (58:25):
No, and even if you could, it'd probably be some
ridiculous amount of money.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Oh, it would be, yeah .

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Yeah, but no, it was great and you know we talked
about some of their gear, butthe K2 stand, this little guy
first of all, worth its weightin gold or, in this sense,
copper.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
It was just yeah, yeah, so I lost my words.
It was just so helpful.
Yeah, you know, because most ofthe time, like what you know, a
malming table, you can't set ak2 on it.
No, because it slides off yes,it sure does so and you want to
be able to see the lights.

(59:02):
You know, and it I all theirstands.
I mean, they've got all kindsof different colors for the K2,
but this one is infused withcopper powder, which I'll let
you explain the scientific meansof copper.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
So copper I don't know what sopper does, I'm not
sure, but copper is, it's aconductor, okay.
So if you think about yourstereo cables and your anything
that you have that can send asignal, unless it's fiber optic,
which if you have that, thenyou're ridiculously loaded.
But most things are made ofcopper because it sends an

(59:41):
electrical signal and it does itvery well.
It's very conductive, you can.
It's malleable, which means youcan basically kind of form it
many different ways, but when itcomes to paranormal
investigations, it's it kind ofhelps, I think, with a lot of
different things.
Obviously, if you feel that andmost people, people do that

(01:00:05):
you're in a paranormal connector connectivity I'm still
thinking technical if you're ina paranormal uh, you know
anything, copper is somewhatinvolved, guaranteed no, our
dowsing rods, they're alwaysmade out of copper.

Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
That's for a reason.
It helps you connect to spirit.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
That's right, yes, and to have it in a powder in
this and to be able yeah, thatis just.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
It was fascinating.
When I saw they listed thatthat was probably, I was like
we're getting.
I ordered it immediately.

Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Yeah so if you realize that the k2 meter, what
it picks up when you havesomething that's actually copper
to help with it, whether itdoes anything or not with this
particular thing I don't knoweverybody.
You can make your own claim onwhat a k2 meter does or for the
paranormal, it's entirely up toyou.
But every team uses it and inmy personal opinion it's a great

(01:00:55):
way.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
It's just another great tool.

Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
It's a tool but this right here, having somewhat have
some copper infused into it, Ithink, only helps with the whole
.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
I think it enhances the chances, right, you're right
that you're going to be able toconnect.
Yeah, it really does.
But, uh, but yeah, everything Imean they've got.
I know there's more that weprobably didn't get to discuss
on there and they're developingnew things all the time.
So definitely go check outtheir etsy page.
Is it's so?
It's journey with a n-N, butJourney N to the Haunted, which

(01:01:27):
is cool.
Okay, if you look that up yeah,I love their name Then you'll
get a page of all their andwe'll provide the link with the
episode and you can check outall they have available.
And they've got even likejewelry and stuff too.
They like print out.
So it's really cool.
But honestly, I think myfavorite thing are the battery
boxes.
Yeah, because if you'reinvestigating all of you guys

(01:01:50):
know this batteries get thrownor they fall out of the of the
case that they come in from thestore.
You know the plastic case andif you don't have them in a
pouch, they kind of just allfall, you know, and they're not
organized.
These things are amazing, like Ilove them yeah, and we're
ordering more yeah because we'vegot multiple batteries but
they've got a little slot thatthey just slide into.

(01:02:12):
You can immediately go back, pull them out.
Yeah, put them back in.

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
We recharge ours and stick them back yeah, we try to
be as, as environmentally itkeeps us more organized.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
I will say that that the worst possible thing is you
go back in your bag to replacebatteries that have been drained
and you don't have any becauseyou accidentally threw the old
ones back in the bag.
It does happen all the time.
I love those.
We haven't gotten a chance touse the yes-no yet, but I'm
looking forward to that one.
The cat ball stand.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
It'll definitely probably be.
We may actually just take it toour next investigation.
I don't actually know.

Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
But the music box is great.
Yeah, I love the music box.
Just remember where you said it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
It'll jumpstart your heart there for a second 100%
guaranteed, but yeah, Well, yeah, I mean it was a great episode,
I think.
Thank those guys for coming onand uh, other than that guys, uh
, we'll see you next week.

Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
Yeah, next week.
