After laying the foundation of salvation in chapters 1–3, Paul turns to how believers should now live out their faith in community. Pastor Bob introduces key themes from chapters 4–6—church life, relationships, love, marriage, parenting, authority, and spiritual warfare—and emphasizes that Genesis Church will move slowly through these chapters to fully grasp God’s truth for everyday living.
This sermon centers on Ephesians 4:1–3, where Paul calls believers to “walk in a manner worthy of their calling” with humility, love, and unity—the core values of Genesis Church. Pastor Bob challenges listeners to “put off” pride and self-centeredness and “put on” Christlike humility, following the example of Jesus in Philippians 2:5–8. The message encourages believers to live out their faith authentically, displaying humility, love, and unity in every relationship and area of life.
