In this special service, Genesis Church gathered to grieve recent community tragedies and honor the lives of fallen police officers. Pastor Bob reminded us from Scripture that when one member suffers, we all suffer, and that Christ calls His church to compassion, action, and love. Drawing from Mark 6, he challenged us to see the needs around us, care for others, and step toward those who are hurting with the compassion of Jesus. Guest speakers, including retired officer Shannon Lewis and Attorney General Dave Sunday, shared powerful testimonies of sacrifice, hope, and the importance of community support. Together, the message was clear: the church must not only pray but also live out God’s love beyond its walls—being a source of light, healing, and unity in a broken world.
