"Mika Ramírez, un artesano del surfing enfocado en crear comunidad de shapers" - En este episodio hablamos con un chico que ha retomado un arte con el que creció en las playas del noroeste de la Isla. Se trata del shaping de tablas de surfing, y él es Mika Ramírez, fundador de Machete Shapes, una joven empresa a través de la cual Ramírez crea tablas de surfing customizadas. Mika ahora se convierte en la tercera generación de shapers de su familia, al seguirle los pasos a su padre y a su abuelo, Néstor Ramírez, fundador de Pelícano Surfboards. Junto a un grupo de colaboradores, Mika también trabaja en la iniciativa Surf Collective, que intenta unir a los shapers de la isla a través de una plataforma en la que puedan promover su trabajo e impulsar el arte del shaping en Puerto Rico. La misma estará disponible en el 2024.
