Relatable, touching, and oddly poignant, John-Michael shares stories from his every day life that will either leave you crying, laughing, or just crying. Either way, work through life’s sometimes-funny-sometimes-sucky lessons along with John-Michael as he does what we all should do a little more of: live. Hello!!
We did it. Got those two episodes completed before the New Year :D
Thanks for being you and living life.
I hope you have a great New Year and have been able, or will be able, may start, or will continue to reflect on this last year. It is healthy to reflect. (It is like sifting soil for precious gems!)
This episode includes Bible passages from the books of Matthew, Genesis and 1 Timothy.

Greetings,
Remember me? It's been over a year since I last published. I am still here. Life has gotten pretty distracting. What is it from? Not entirely sure. Maybe because I am now 30. Oh the joy I forgot about in releasing new episodes. This one is more late than episode 57. Time to be more intentional about things and get back on the horse.
I will chime in again soon :)

Hey stranger!
This episode sat and marinated for a couple of months before making it's way to here. Now it is happy! I moved, again, and live JUST outside of Atlanta. There is a NEW garden with mostly NEW plants and NEW soil which I am excited about. NEW soil means NEW things. I turned a bunch of basil into pesto, yum.
Not only is this episode happy, I am happy. I hope you are happy :)

Wowser,
Good things take time. I can't believe the last episode was basically a month ago. Yawn. Time to sleep! No wonder it took so long!
Some of this gets weighty. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline's phone number is 800-273-8255 if you are having suicidal thoughts. Please do not try to live this life alone. You are worth it and are very much loved!

Hi,
It has been an honor and great adventure to spend time with this vocal diary and post it vulnerably for the world to hear. It feels like it is time for me though to process through other creative outlets. This outlet has been a huge blessing and I hope it was somewhat inspirational to you as it was to me. The next episode will include three more topics and some more heartfelt thoughts. I will not say it is the final as I am unsu...
Woof,
My friend had his truck stolen today :( The police found it though! Somewhere on a dirt road maybe 45 miles from its home. This hurt my heart. The thieves stole a lot of other things which belonged to the owner. This too hurt my heart. God knows where everything and everyone is!! Yawn, it's only after midnight here, WHOOPS. I will try not to do that again. Hope you are doing ok :)

Hi,
It is finished. I moved across town and it feels like it was more stressful than moving across the country. It's cold today. My room has been an organized mess for the first week but I am still here which is what matters :) I have two roommates and one of them has a dog named Aspen :)

Hi,
IT FEELS LIKE THERE'S NO TIME TO COMPLETE THIS EPISODE'S DESCRIPTION! You know when all of the sudden it gets chaotic and crazy busy? That's today. I moved across town from southwest Atlanta to northeast Atlanta! I read verses from the Bible such as 1 Timothy 6: 10, 1 Kings 10:14.

How YOU doin?
The weather has been either nice and spring-like or ICE COLD. BRRRRRRR. I am moving across town soon. I just deleted all my social media accounts (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Linkedin) and talk about why. Talk includes the season of lent and my previous porn addiction. 5:09 to 9:26. By the way, if you delete social media they give you 30 days to change your mind. (This shocked my therapist too!)

HElloooooo :)
This week I am deleting social media so it is going to be a weird adventure. Stay tuned for more information next week! This episode I think is harmless, some of the things inside can be dangerous but they wont hurt your ears. I reference the breakfast story with Jesus and his disciples John 21: 1-14.

Hey pal,
Fun fact: Someone in high school introduced me to the word "pal" and every time I say it I think of her :')
As we speak, the right half of my face (including my teeth) are numb :p The numbness made it's way to my ear even. Uhhhhhhhhh. Why my dentist wanted me triple numbed, I do not know. Here we are though! (what else can I tell you right now?)

Well hello there friend,
I made another batch of cookie dough and cannot figure out which ingredient I forgot to add :( Does anybody know? Or maybe I put too much butter in it. Bleh! I think all of these topics are somewhat dangerous so please either do not try them at home or be very very careful when doing them.

Emotions.
We are nearing a full year of Genuinely Quirky episodes and if you have been with me since the start or you are just now joining, thank you :) (Or if you are somewhere in between!) It's been a journey and thanks for coming along.
Here I express some frustration but it is just an observation. I also confess my impatience with not getting what I want. Yikes! The polar vortex I think has passed. It was su...
BLLLAAAAAAAHHHHHH,
Hi :)
All of the sudden it feels like there's a lot of stuff to get done. (Deep breaths.) Church and God and Jesus are sprinkled throughout this. Along, with a few philosophical thoughts. It feels like one solid topic though, but it's three. Like the Trinity!

If you are sensitive to current events in the United States, I share my Georgia senate runoff story which runs from 1:26 to 4:43. Other than political vortexes, I guess there is a polar vortex coming to Georgia soon so standby for how it goes. New things with me... I have an inhaler now, but hopefully won't need to use it ever.
