(00:00):
What is up everyone? This is Sergi and it is GenZGab. We are doing some very special

(00:09):
podcasting right now because ever since July 21st, Biden's out of the running and
it has been a very interesting 24 plus hours and I know people are gonna come
after me for saying please vote for Kamala. I am aware of her stance with

(00:32):
Israel but as a lot of people say it's not gonna be better with anyone right now
given the situation and honestly I know that there's still a lot of problems but
she's still our best option and I know people are gonna say the two-party system
sucks but at this point please for the love of God just vote for her. Okay I

(00:57):
cannot do project 25 okay I cannot have Trump in office again and let's not
forget about the whole situation with Hillary. She may have not been the most
like but she still won the popular vote so what are we doing if we keep doing
this we're just gonna get the issue that we had in 2016 and I frankly don't

(01:20):
want to deal with that bullshit anymore. Not to mention that there is a clip
surfacing around how creepy Donald Trump Jr. was towards his 17 year old daughter.
Again Apple does not fall far from that disgusting tree. Legitimately I can't

(01:47):
even begin to describe how gross it was but he said let's get some makeup on me
so I can look sexy like you. Who says that to their own daughter? Oh wait let's
be honest his own father has said some really crappy creepy ass stuff to his
sister Ivanka so there's that but like hey Kai can you can you need to signal for

(02:17):
some help girl do you need some help let us know but it's probably not gonna
happen. Also the whole thing with recent events with Melania's interview about her
own immigration there was an attorney who does immigration who had spoken out
about this where she didn't actually follow the rules Melania she was doing

(02:42):
potentially a travel visa and you technically can't work on a travel visa
and then it's like back and forth and back and forth and just a lot of the
issues and people say it's only a matter of the brown versus this community and
yes I get that point but it's like a and it's as some of these lawyers have said
kind of a stupid rule but it's like the same people that are opposed on

(03:06):
immigration are just doing whatever the hell they want which again just should
show a different side the corruptness etc and really Donald Trump is not a good
idea and I just well I've had so many feelings obviously on this whole thing
but again unfortunately we are stuck more with the two party at this point in

(03:33):
life at this point in time so please please please just consider Kamala
okay because she is 59 years old she is willing to persecute creepers sex
offenders like Trump so yeah I know that there's still not everything

(03:55):
great about her I know that we should probably do a deep dive at some point but
at this moment in time I need a woman because we have not had any woman
president yet you've only had one president of color I saw a tweet slash a

(04:24):
thread yesterday that said how about instead of I'm with her she's with us
and I kind of like that one better she's with us and I just honestly that gives
me a little bit of hope and if anybody knows from my podcast I am a depressive

(04:46):
person partially because of ADHD partially because of all the things that
went down in COVID and my own health struggles you name it and then living
at home which I know that I'm saying that I see you if you're another 20
something-year-old who has not had anything really go right in their life
or who thought things were supposed to go better and then COVID happened I see

(05:10):
you I feel you and so this can be a little glimmer of hope if you will and I
understand not everyone's gonna agree with me I understand that there are
still issues but she is our best option and then again I will acknowledge as a

(05:30):
white person they're gonna say that this is me as a white woman braiding around
saying the lesser of the two evils but that's unfortunately we are not equipped
right now to handle a third party and it sucks but it is better to vote for

(05:52):
Kamala if you are a man out there who was seriously confused by who to vote for
if you have any women in your family please vote for Kamala okay the
reproductive acts as the rights etc are being threatened and being taken away

(06:17):
from your family members that you love and I know I got really freaking
political on here and nobody wants to hear that but you know what I'm using
my platform for good so that's also think about all the doctors in like Texas and

(06:46):
Oklahoma and Georgia you name it that need this type of support right now and
when people tell them to just move along go to a different state no no no no we
need good doctors like that in those places to help out again please go and
watch the Grey's Anatomy episodes and the ER episode where even some of the best

(07:09):
doctors miss things or a doctor trying to get through the border to try to get a
person a life-saving procedure again I will never forget the episode of Grey's
Anatomy that OB's have stated and other doctors actually happens in our world
where the mom had an atopic pregnancy she could not get the necessary care she

(07:31):
did and no matter how hard they try to work on it it did not work out in the
end why do you think Serena Williams is working her ass off on all her things but
especially on making sure that women get the necessary care they need especially
the black and brown community
you wonder why Grey's Anatomy also does aside from the ER episode about

(07:57):
preeclampsia does so much on preeclampsia and health syndrome it's
because of the issues that Trump and a lot of the Republican Party has put on
our our society it is moving backwards and look yes blue states have more

(08:19):
protection but it's still very scary to think of as a woman it is very scary for
anyone who has a woman in their life that they truly care about and yet some
people still aren't getting that and it sickens me and it just needs to change

(08:42):
so thank you for listening I know that that was about 10 minutes of ranting
about the situations but I'm trying to make sure that everybody clearly
understands what is at stake here and yes I have a communications degree and a
Spanish degree and I know that I'm nowhere near the level as qualified as a

(09:06):
lot of these you know CNN and Fox correspondents the political nature
but hey you know what Stephen Colbert and a lot of people on the Daily Show
have communications degrees maybe they have polycyon as well or some sort of
human rights on the side but you know what we all know how to do our research

(09:30):
how to be a journalist even if it's a fake journalist on a comedy whatever show
but late night show but it's at least these guys know enough of what they are
talking about so listen especially the people like John Stuart and Stephen
Colbert because they are some of the only white men in this country that we
should listen to and I know people are gonna take this and you know twist out

(09:56):
what I say but it it doesn't matter because again I am an ADHD OCD girl I
was late diagnosed misdiagnosed all that I've been told my whole life nobody
cares shut the hell up blah blah blah blah blah so you know what you can either
turn this off or you can keep listening so anyways this has been you know kind

(10:20):
of the journey through everything and insanity you know I ironically still
think red as his moments but he's still like red and you know at least he's never
pushing anything on Donna definitely seems to have way more understanding

(10:44):
flash he just kind of hates people so that's a different thing but he loves
his granddaughter it's just been very interesting just to see the dynamic
change shift but you know at the end of the day the one thing that I do appreciate
is that the writing still stays pretty true to the characters of the original

(11:06):
sitcom regardless of the situations that have happened and you know I really
like the parallel with the guitar and awful Kelso's songwriting if that's
something but I do want to touch on something because I realized that no
matter how many years go by or whatever um also as a victim and I know that

(11:33):
Kelso did crappy things and was disgusting on other levels but it kind
of goes back and I've mentioned this too like some of the things that Drake
Bell did I feel bad for the kid that had some of that stuff happen but not what
happens is the aftermath or that whole hurt people hurt people which I agree to

(11:56):
some extent but I totally disagree on like your actions and being an abusive
asshole doesn't help either that being said I truly hated as I talked about
earlier Laurie the way that she treated him the way that he said no the way that
everybody just went around it and then he puts in the song because I listened

(12:19):
to Kelso's serenade I watched the episode and one of the lines and this goes
into my theme that I was talking about but it's like straight up coerced me like
that yeah like does that not bother anybody else and it kind of ties to
where I was talking about the man with the one that gets all those things just

(12:42):
like the lies and the deceit that human beings can do and it's just so disgusting
and you know it's super interesting like in the industry things that happen and
just like how many parallels within even a different industry again in fertility
industry the Hollywood industry you name it like everyone just god there's so

(13:06):
many layers that I can't even I'm not an expert so I can talk about but I also
started to think which I'm not trying to humanize like horses or donkeys or you
know the equine species slash the goats etc but there's some people who are barn
owners at you know farms and it legitimately seems like if they don't

(13:28):
have their giblets or anything but they're pretty much useless on their
farm like unless it has a uterus or something it can just as long as it can
breed that's what and it just seems like backyard breeding and just not like it
makes me feel disgusting and just how I used to maybe support some of these
people and now it's just not looking right and I know that there's different

(13:51):
love or whatever and that there's the animal nature the circle of life
whatever you would say but it's just like come frickin on like this is really
really gross so I guess that's kind of just my takeaway of a lot of different
things you know I this has been episode 76 of Gen Z Gab hopefully you know we

(14:18):
will see you soon and I will stay healthy so we can do this a little more on a
schedule you know okay cool bye I also want to say that this is a spoiler
because I have watched part one of Cobra Kai and I know a lot of people are
thinking about the three part or just all that fun stuff but I really want to

(14:40):
take a moment to acknowledge like how much Johnny ironically has grown on me
throughout all these six seasons and I think you know how much I really truly
like Amanda LaRusso and Johnny because of how much they get some of their kids
who are more wounded now part ones ending please don't listen to this if you

(15:05):
don't want spoilers it's heartbreaking and I've rewatched this like three times
the fight scene and I'm all I can really say is I think Johnny was the best out of
it of the adults to kind of understand where her anger was coming from but I

(15:28):
see a lot of fights in the comments and honestly I kind of see the point Daniel
still not like my favorite in that three-way scene of who's taking what
side and they're trying not to take sides and I actually kind of like how
Daniel at least when he was explaining to Johnny like what was going on here's

(15:52):
my thing Johnny does understand her pain he gets why she needs to fight but I
kind of agree that it's not okay because she's had so much growth it is not okay
unfortunately for her to you know over desert herself and you know potentially

(16:15):
hurt one of her teammates even though it's a situation as well as the guilt
she'll feel as well as just in an off chance she might injure herself so you
know in a way I get why they called the fight and I understand why they set it

(16:36):
up that it was her versus Sam's two strong fighters I just wish which again
this is too kind of simplistic of answer for Netflix show because you have to add
the layers and regardless of what sides people are on in certain aspects of the
world in certain issues going on in the world the actress Aiden List who plays

(16:56):
Tory deserves a nomination because she killed that scene okay that's all I'm
gonna say but yeah I believe Amanda and Johnny were the best to understand I
know people are gonna get mad at me for saying this but I truly get what she was

(17:17):
saying like I actually saw she wasn't by the third time second or third time I
rewatched that scene she wasn't and rationally as my brain goes through she
needed to get her anger out that's not the point she could hurt herself she
could hurt people around her she would feel guilty afterwards because Tory is

(17:39):
such a good person and I don't heed her at the end for her decision of going
back to Cobra Kai because Kreese is manipulative as hell as well as just the
situation same with Kenny you know the whole thing but I do believe that there's
you know different aspects going on here I really wish you know that they had

(18:04):
decided to which again probably wouldn't work but you know pull I wish Johnny
pulled Tory aside maybe even Johnny and Daniel had Amanda come along grab some
board so she could just let it all out because she even if she even if they're

(18:30):
concerned she might hurt herself it would be better for her to get that anger
out and if it was you know getting through the boards if it was just
punching the bag I don't know but the fact of the matter is she needed to let
some of that out and she wanted to fight but again I truly understood kind of

(18:53):
where they were going with it and I loved that Johnny spoke up for her it was
great that he did that and at the same time none of them no that didn't really
work through anything and mr. Miyagi is not the saint that we all assumed he
stole he did other things he had a bro was sketchy okay like I'm not gonna say

(19:18):
that he wasn't still great but I do like these sides I do like these stories
that explore different things because suddenly my brain is like okay I still
hate Johnny but that was through Daniel's perspective and as you know
Ali would say there's like two sides and the truth I also feel bad again

(19:40):
Demetri just bothers the hell out of me I really hated you know Hawk for a while
but now it's like Demetri shut the fuck up you wanting boy like you got better I
liked your gross and season like you know three through five a little bit more
maybe it was more four and five but god damn it like right now like I'm kind of

(20:03):
annoyed with you and I think that's the goal and the actors doing great but it's
like are you freaking kidding me it's and don't even get me started on the fact
that we have to wait three and a half months for the rest of it to go down
Robbie and Miguel are having a weird brotherly thing going on which makes
sense but one fair and square whatever you want to believe in and I do like

(20:29):
Johnny's growth as a dad throughout the whole thing and he's trying I do think
that you know they should release part two on September but that probably won't
work out in the end and you know there's just a lot of feelings that I'm having
obviously like a lot of other people and I just wanted to take some time as weird

(20:54):
as it is that it's being shared kind of like it's all dark and twisty and the
fact of the matter is yeah true but I think it does shed light on the
complexities of a lot of these characters and I've learned only true evil are
really Cobra Kai there's like annoyances you get with and I got in Sam

(21:18):
it's never been one of my favorite characters Tori at the start was kind of
like me to me but now as more time goes on and again I do like her relationship
with Amanda and I did like her increase for a while but now I'm again not so
sure and Kenny yeah I loved what his brother said to him but again

(21:39):
unfortunately it kind of sheds light on like how the self absorption happens
like I've talked a lot about in our society and that's just how it is but I
don't know it just I've been thinking a lot the past few days about this and the
only reason I'm mentioning it in this podcast is because it's still kind of
fairly fresh without you know trying to spoil too much but I think I just

(22:03):
spoiled a lot more I'm not gonna get into other spoilers but I really did want
to talk about you know Tori think about this like even though Peyton Liss is a
26 year old actress she's playing an 18 year old who's basically a single parent
who has her creepy aunt who's always after her she's trying her best to also

(22:23):
take care of her brother she you know she did finally get support and then now
it's like everything is just getting messed up and her mom I truly do believe
what she's saying and yes the doctor screwed up so like just think about it
from that perspective too I agree on a lot of levels she could have hurt herself
like I keep saying she could have hurt herself she could have hurt someone else

(22:47):
and knowing how she has you know she has a lot of empathy she will have that
feeling of guilt follow her but she needed some way to let that anger out
and I know as watching this and how it's written it didn't get solved in the

(23:08):
most logical way but that's the unfortunate side of life and it actually
shows that life not everyone is always rational I do think that Devon was the
only one that really noticed what was going on with her and I feel bad because
she's the youngest one of the younger members and it's just yeah it's gonna be

(23:32):
a while before we have more answers or see how it works but again we had issues
with Tory people have issues with Tory here and there and you know she was
working as a double agent so who knows what exactly will unfold I hope and again
I will be cheering for her character every time so as we kind of conclude this

(23:58):
podcast because there is a lot going on and I don't even know where to begin just
know if you are feeling down or low about anything or feeling like you know
your parents are constantly in your shadow it could be worse you could be
trolled by your parents on national TV and I know I am someone who enjoys these

(24:25):
people a lot but in the power parents can we just give a round of applause to
because they are keeping their boy humble and honestly I think I've said
this before but if I ever was cast in a project with Glenn Powell I'd be so
excited not because I would meet him but in the off chance that his parents would

(24:46):
come and honestly I think that they deserve a documentary a behind-the-scenes
kind of thing or whatever or doing some sort of jury duty type view things where
well not jury duty but kind of mockumentary style of what goes on
behind-the-scenes and filming a film and then the parents who support the kids
throughout it in their career but honestly mama Powell keeps that boy

(25:11):
humble she keeps trolling him and I just I I would love to meet her I don't care
what anyone says if that's a little weird but I'm not looking to be a daughter
in law or anything honestly I will be happy as a clam and I know that's such a
weird old person saying and yes I'm around my family but that I get to meet

(25:33):
her once so many people are being really weird in the comments then and then
up I will be overjoyed if I got to meet the parents once if I ever got cast in
a project even if it was a background role because they constantly make me
laugh in these dark times of the world and honestly cold bear or any late-night

(25:59):
TV show listening to this you should interview his parents you've it you guys
have interviewed Glenn Powell so many times how about we just interview the
parents already because they are the goat and honestly I can't imagine anything
that would bring more joy to the US America right now in these dark times

(26:25):
then parents trolling they're a Lister son who deserved it probably I don't
actually know too much and honestly he's made me laugh really hard and a lot of
his new movies and I'm interested in watching Twisters so this is not really
shading Glenn just saying though that your parents seem pretty cool your

(26:45):
family seems pretty cool so I wouldn't mind you know just going working on a
project and somehow they showed up wouldn't mind that there would be like a
mockumentary style thing I know I keep repeating that but honestly Quinta
Brunson should consider some of that because I think that would be interesting

(27:07):
if she did a mockumentary of the parents behind some of these stars and
either you know they're trolling the humbling whatever it may be but it could
give some insight to why these people stay remotely normal because I think we

(27:29):
have too much self-aware like not enough self-awareness in our society but
self-awareness of the fact that our parents somewhat keep us humble and
yes I know that this is a double contradictory negative whatever you
want to call it it's a contradiction because I know I've complained on here

(27:50):
about living at home and all my mental health issues but again once you make it
you eventually become a horrible person usually so there are a good few people
out there that don't and I've mentioned a few of them along the way and by me

(28:10):
mentioning them that's why I want a documentary because these parents keep
it real and especially the moms the boys okay we need more boy moms like this
because again the boy moms that we see from influencers etc it is disgusting
okay it is reaching Eric Trump level Donald Trump Junior level and Donald

(28:36):
Trump level okay although Eric Trump hasn't said much of anything yet but
still I just I include him because we already know that's good then I hope to
God Aaron goes no contact with any of them but that probably will not happen so
yeah there we are but again I just want to give a round of applause to all the

(29:02):
boy moms that are actually not being a boy mom not being disgusting because
that is I know bare minimum but it is truly amazing to see and I do not mean
that in a sarcastic way even if it seems like that with how I talk and my
voice is very scratchy right now and I am powering through because I have

(29:28):
nothing else to do right now even if I lose my voice I'm okay with doing it
because I enjoy this I'm passionate about what I am talking about right now so
yeah okay so as we actually wrap up this episode please remember to like
subscribe I hope that you enjoyed this episode of Gen Z Gab and we will see you

(29:54):
soon okay bye
