(00:00):
What is up everyone? This is Sara G It is Gen Z Gab. Let's get into it. So there's a lot going on.
(00:07):
Obviously I'm doing a lot of podcasts this week. More to catch up because I've been flacking like
they said. So I'm being very special this week by releasing three episodes. So thank you very much
if you are someone who follows this consistently. I will be talking about variety of things going
on in the world. But specifically it is so funny like how I went to bed last night
(00:32):
you know, hearing about different drama going on in different groups. Now I will say
there is a lot more other things I could talk about because again
the life is crazy etc. But I do want to just do something not amusing more but it is.
(00:54):
But horse talk is going nuts. And it was a creator I used to kind of like that I liked
learning from. But then I started to learn that there are other people out there obviously. And
I started to learn different things. And of course like I thought because one breed might be different
than another and blah blah blah blah blah. Again I was totally wrong in that situation which is
(01:19):
at least fair enough to answer. But I'm going to go with the few people that I will continuously
support continue to adore and hope that if somebody's looking to learn from them that it's these guys.
So Campbell on TikTok, Xrider, Blue Pine Quarter Horses especially with how the Colties,
(01:44):
yes the Colties of KVS are going after everyone in that situation at Blue Pine. And let me just
tell you the T, the receipts that that owner has on her own specific horses. Good job for keeping
the evidence and let's just say that I really truly appreciate how you're doing with your whole
(02:08):
situation because again she has had a lot going on in her personal farm life. There was a bear attack
and they lost two dogs, her family. As well as one thing that I appreciate about the specific
creator is that she also doesn't show her family that much on social media. She protects her
(02:29):
children even when she shows them. She barely shows the faces etc. So I have a lot more respect
and belief in her especially because now other people who have bought horses have come forward
and said the same thing about the paperwork. So again that's true and honestly some people
(02:52):
aren't what they seem. You should know better but again this is a typical kind of even in the
horse talk world this is the typical kind of vibe that you get of you know one person thinks
that they're one way versus another etc. And it just goes to show that yeah your vibe on the person
might be always correct the first time around. But again I don't know and I'm trying to be
(03:17):
a little cryptic with who I say I'll give the name of the handle to follow but I don't want to
really give out the names of these people too much because some of them actually do go by an
alias online or a nickname because of how insane people get. And this is again that whole situation
(03:39):
of you know our like parasocialness. And again I try to see pass it a little bit. I unfold and
followed the KVS creator a lot because you know I liked certain foals of hers etc. and learning
about different things but you know after April kind of when there was some big time name people
(04:08):
who wanted to collaborate with her and she didn't or try to specify other things. The mean girl
immature side came out plus the certain way that this specific creator talks about their animals
being like a hoe etc. is not like the best vibe. Also just the way that they are handling many
(04:33):
animals the whole backyard breeding vibe. Again this person said that they would consider breeding
mules in the future and the fact that five out of the seven horses that they bred were bred to her
just one stallion and I know technically it's probably cheaper but there's just like a lot
more being scattered around. A lot more lines are being crossed in the sense of you know gets into
(04:59):
in breeding and it's no longer seeming like it's trying to make that horse as a whole better.
And the reason that I'm saying this is again I did western riding I did different types of
western riding when I was a kid never show never this I do want to somewhat get into barrel racing
and other things again at some point but I like all that stuff but never like as competitive as
(05:26):
some of these but the more that I read up and understand and learn about the background the
more I'm like the thoroughbred people are where it said if you want the real information etc.
Also just I really appreciated learning about this little preemie that you know this specific
(05:46):
creator had separately but even now I'm just thinking it's not the best with the situation of how
you know the things they're doing there's things to yes help people live but again it's like just
the parasocial the amphora for most is amphromopic moments yes I'm very bad at how I'm saying all
(06:14):
this stuff but the point is that the personalization and I know that we're all guilty of this to some
extent but that's just where I'm at where it's just kind of like a really hard to watch and you
know some even bigger time creators in LA you know it doesn't matter where you're from like this
(06:37):
will all happen in every industry so I think I just wanted to touch on that a little bit while
you know we're talking about all the situations that have been going on here since the beginning
of well April especially but it's been a big time issue for a while I think and you know
(06:59):
naive me thinks like oh people should be open to collaborating and getting along and all this
stuff and then I'm realizing that I'm the girl from Mean Girls who says that who just comes to the
I would never go to a school though that I didn't go to for that stupid reason again I know satire
but that was just kind of my takeaway from it I love learning about dog sports or sports all that
(07:25):
kind of stuff I like how some people use the platform for good and try to educate similar
to like how I was talking about the politicians etc who use their platforms but again it's just
this never ending cycle of who we give the fame to versus whatever but then you start to realize
(07:48):
that the people who are actually doing things with integrity don't really want all the fame and the
glory they want recognition but they don't want a lot of the extra stuff that goes with him so
there's that I am gonna start talking about you know some other things right now so anyway I'm
moving on to some other things you know the Paralympics are starting and the one thing that I
(08:13):
really appreciate is the people who are speaking out on the Paralympics because again I just love
that you know it is important to talk about things and the fact of the matter is that anybody who
says that it's not like the real Olympics that sucks because honestly can you do any of the
stuff they can do while being able-bodied and I think that this is just something that really
(08:37):
sticks to me and generally know it's different and that it's more um of a situational thing but
like I think because the fact that I have like Ambly Oblio which is a vision issue and and watching
Steven Netarossik do the whole thing of you know showing what depth per session can do with um you
(09:04):
know not being great at sports I know this sounds weird by me like talking about this but again
like I have so much respect for Paralympians because of how my own eye issue happens and that's
like another reason why I loved watching you know Steven on his pommel horse especially the fact that
(09:26):
I find out that even though he's on the Olympic team you know his depth perception isn't as great
and I know that people are gonna say why do you keep talking about that because here's the thing
I can't for the life of me sometimes do things because of other things and you know what it
happens that this guy can't drive this guy can't do some other things but for some reason he can
(09:52):
do gymnastics and be the best like one of the best in the world and I think that that's very
telling as well as you know Ireland's got one of the sprinters who she's got a rear eyesight thing
that I can't pronounce right now and I know people are gonna say well why are you even talking about
(10:14):
this well I'll put a link in for starters because again I don't want to go too much into things I
don't know about but what I meant is just to see all these Paralympians having support for each other
it's great plus watching how many people want to watch and see what these athletes have to do
(10:40):
again I think it's more impressive I know people are gonna look at me and say that's so weird
that I'm so this and that but no it's actually not because it kind of shows that despite your
challenges you can rise above I'm not saying that everyone will and I know that this is a struggle
for me as well to try to see what others can do and it's you know trying to be inspiring etc
(11:05):
and yeah I guess for me I just kind of go you know what there are things that are struggle for a
variety of people and we just never always know what's going on and I think the whole reason why
I was just you know focused on Stephen more than other people was just because he has a similar
(11:25):
eye condition as me and I wouldn't say I'm the most athletic but that doesn't mean that just
because somebody's not athletic or this and that or because they have a vision issue that they can't
do anything because again because again you'll see so many of these Olympic athletes they're all
(11:45):
Olympic they're not just they're not just Paralympic they're Olympians they can do shit that not
anyone else can do so again that's why I'm gonna say that I love the newest like Instagram
account post and other things on social media where a lot of them are saying we are not wrapped in
(12:05):
bubble wrap we are not we are not you know full of just cotton we are not soft we are not this
the world is not always kind to us and I just really appreciate how realistic they're being in
our system again I know that this is on so weird the way that I'm talking about it but instead
(12:32):
of you know trying to say that congratulations you are participating no we are in the games we
aren't like participate no and again maybe I got the quote wrong but I looked for the direct quote
right now and I can't find it but no these people could kick our asses very quickly and I know some
(12:52):
people are like what if they have none and they could still their prosthetic could okay so I just
want to encourage everyone to go and watch the Olympics and yes I know it's the Paralympics but
watch the second part of the Olympics I know I'm overdoing it but I just think of like this is a
time where I would say the Olympics should just be split into two and just be part one and part
(13:17):
two which I know it sounds probably a little lame whatever but again my ADHD is off the wall right
now thinking about a thousand different intricacies and interconnections and ways that things combine
that you couldn't even possibly understand and I'm saying understand because I don't even understand
(13:37):
them so the words of the things that are going on clearly clearly clearly I am definitely showing
that I am not great in any form I am the word salad Olympian maybe that's it so yeah anyway tune in
tomorrow watch the Olympics the Paralympics and just you know get back some of that shining moment
(14:04):
of just feeling like a community is tied together very happy go lucky I don't know how else to say
it but it was just like the amount of support girl supporting girls just the whole situation of
Olympians supporting other Olympians and just seeing how much coverage is getting I just
truly truly hope that you tune into it and now moving along to again I'm going to be talking
(14:29):
about that 90s show why because I keep rewatching it and finding the little little little little
jokes that I didn't get beforehand and just gonna do another deep dive on kitty because why not as
an adult I see so much more that makes me go oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh like yes again I said
earlier in a different episode how much she you know has these great moments of mothery stuff but
(14:56):
again but again I still stand by that she's probably a narcissist and I know people are gonna look at me
but if you think about it the way that she tries to control everything and the way that she behaves
kind of typical boy mom and I know everyone's gonna hate on me but she does things she crosses
(15:17):
boundaries etc she never listens to anyone else but herself and you know it's starting to see a
very telling side especially with how she is towards Donna and granted they're both strong
will but again I just am starting to see a side where where she's definitely manipulating more of a
(15:38):
situation etc and the fact of the matter is like I think about you know how Donna and Eric try to deal
with some of her situations but at the same time it's very much telling like she does at least admit
some of her shortcomings with parenting Laurie especially red agreeing with that and so on so
(16:03):
forth but when reg keeps trying to tell her to get out of the situation you also see that side
of you know she's just not gonna change and you kind of just have to let it go but then that's the
enablement behavior and you know you also see when calling her out a little bit and then she's like
(16:23):
don't get your paintings in a bunch like trying to gaslight her into thinking that it's not that way
and I kind of see just more too kiddy than here's the thing red is a tough ass you're right red hasn't
changed she's gotten a little softer and more understanding and listens to the kids but red's
(16:45):
actually the parent that's more slash grandparent that's more you know he actually doesn't have a
favorite too as well and he clearly just wants to stay out of everyone's issues and I kind of
like that and I know people are going to say that there's different levels whatever and
(17:08):
you know that you know this is just a sitcom it's not that deep but when you really examine it
it's like uh wow I mean yeah kiddie definitely even in the original series but I think she definitely
got it taken up a notch as the overly involved grandparent that definitely you know disregards
(17:33):
everything that the parent tells everything that the parent tells her to do that being said I really
like watching Bob's grow through this he's still you know Bob and he's a little but I liked how he
also got sentimental with the whole midge situation they addressed her death real beautifully and I
(17:55):
think that that worked well and the kids understanding what the time capsule meant I mean there's plenty
of other moments of you know callbacks to the original series that you know have been done
pretty well I mean when Betsy finally came in but I think that that was probably my favorite so far
(18:18):
as well as just watching uh red at the coffee shop and finally see it I think that the person
the waitress was ridiculous in her other ways because again red was just doing and paying
what she needed and trying to tell her his honest opinion without you know trying to give her too
(18:39):
much of life advice because she was life advice because again she was an adult compared to the
kids the teens around and Sherry I will also say that you know um I give a lot of crap about
about uh he especially in a lot of aspects but again we do love Kitty and red for how they are
(19:06):
especially with Ozzy because here's the thing even red is just like I don't have time for this you
treat it like any other high school drama he doesn't care who you like or what you like unless it's
like the Minnesota Vikings he just wants people out of his house and he just wants to enjoy his
life in peace without all the crap now him and Nate had a really sweet scene this year and I
(19:32):
truly adore their you know relationship kind of reminds me of a mix of Jackie and
maybe even Eric on some level because here's the thing he in some ways I think supposed to be a
Kelso because of how dumb he is supposed to be but at the same time he just has a sweet innocence
(19:58):
that like makes it go yes there's definitely a soft spot red has for him there especially
since season one he gave him the flannel and he knows you know he's a kid who has a little bit
tougher of a life I mean you've all seen his mom who's you know reminiscent of his daughter
but she's still a nicer less evil version of his daughter but at the same time he's you know
(20:25):
thrown back into that role of guidance that he may or may not have wanted but at the same time at
least he's a straight shooter instead of you know telling everyone how to live their life or do
their life because again he is red that tries to stay out of all this stuff even in the OG series
(20:46):
however he will still kind of you know defend when needed and it's the harsher role that he's in but
you can't tell me he doesn't have a soft spot for Leah and her friends and even Jay he realizes
is not like your typical Kelso that being said he still doesn't know how to feel about him
(21:11):
which is fair enough but I think because Jackie's his mom he's definitely like way nicer to him
than the fact that you know Kelso's his dad plus I mean Betsy probably will be expanded a little
more in season three so that would be nice to see their dynamic because Kelso you know
(21:34):
being around more it would be interesting to see you know her come in and talk and then
Leo or someone mentions how they used to watch her as a baby and Red would be like yeah except for
I had to save her from you not because you're bad or anything but just because they were baby
(21:57):
sitting at my house and I was the responsibility let's just face it kid your dad was not always the
brightest which is why your mom's intelligence have taken over on you and Jay something along
that lines I don't know how much more will happen but I do like the vibe between all three of them
(22:20):
potentially as well as you know more expansion on Nate and his relationship because again it gives
Jackie and him vibes or hide in him vibes as much as I don't really want to talk about hide in this
situation but that's life and I do think that you know you see the differences of kiddies people
(22:41):
pleasing but at the same time kiddie also needy to have everything her way is kind of a trauma
response and you start to realize how many little subdual jabs they make at intergenerational trauma
throughout the show like especially when Gwen's dad Otis comes to visit uh Otis is he using the
meat hammer and when he uses it it is something that Red says along the lines of that that's the
(23:07):
closest that I'll ever get to therapy so yeah that at least implies he's kind of aware of things as
well as you know his heart condition there's a lot of other things but I do truly have to say that
it is nice to see some of the rougher around the edges characters kind of grow out of that a little
(23:33):
bit while not growing out of who they are as well as you know the whole Mitch situation is very weird
like I mentioned beforehand it would be interesting if uh Red and kiddie went away for like a month or
bob and them did something different and then Eric came to visit after you know doing his whole
(23:54):
skywalker ranch stuff he has like a chance up for a little sabbatical and while he's there all hell
breaks loose and again he keeps reminding Leia as well as himself how much Donna actually really
loves them to be able to continue to do this because there's a reason why both of them wanted to move
to Chicago in the end and yeah so there's that I do think that Donna can be a little bit of a
(24:23):
hypocrite at times with her moments at the end of the season however I do see also sometimes
parents are too honest about their past and sometimes parents are too pushy about how perfect
they were to make us perfect and scared of them and I think that there's a fine line between a lot
(24:43):
of that stuff but uh yeah I can see that in a lot of different ways I can understand why some
things are done but it again shows even with despite what your parents do nobody's perfect
again I mean you think about kitty's smoking habit throughout the whole that 70s show but and then
(25:08):
now it's being reintroduced in that 90s show where when she has been so stressed out she started
smoking again and red's getting on her and then instead to still keep herself in trouble but without
keeping her in trouble she answers how she let Leia do whatever she wants because she's no longer
(25:30):
considered a responsible adult um yeah so the retaliation isn't great either but again I know
it's all sitcom but those were just some of my thoughts of the situation and I guess I just have
been over analyzing lately because I like I said in my last episode have had a lot of ADHD OCD moments
(25:54):
you know middle of relapse whatever you want to call it and I think because neurodivergence is on
my mind especially after the whole Tim Walls thing especially with his son who again has healed I think
and made a lot of people understand slightly more what exactly neurodivergence means were
(26:14):
an unverbal learning disorder so I applaud that there's definitely more that needs to come and
be talked about but yeah so when I see some of these characters written and I know not everything
needs a label but I definitely think all of them are pretty neurodivergent which I think is what
(26:35):
makes these characters very interesting to watch because we wouldn't want neurotypicals and I think
that that needed to be addressed more and I know I talk about that a lot but it's very much
accurate and true the characters are written this way because if they weren't then nobody would watch
(26:57):
it so yeah I would definitely consider some of those things that I've mentioned I am super excited
for you know season 21 of Grey's Anatomy to come back I know people are going to say well I already
talking about this well because you know after the strike with all the things that went on it's
kind of nice to have something kind of go back somewhat normal now I know some people are mad at
(27:23):
the time change but that's life you know and at least we're still getting more I know some people
think that it should have ended a while ago and I used to be in that same boat however
you know it's just like it's too late to kind of end it and do a spin off but I don't know too
(27:44):
much else but I do think that you know with all the craziness that goes on in the world sometimes
it's better to just look at characters rather than people but that are still kind of people like
you separate them and it makes me think of like just why I talked about all these different things
and it made me think about the homework assignment I did in a positive site class and where I watched
(28:12):
Inside Out and you know how many different TV shows and characters that you can all do this with
and I think that it's super important sometimes for you to play kind of games or analyze and I
know people can say this is weird but at least this is what helps me and if it can help one other
(28:33):
person I think that that's great I understand that not everything is going to be great and
it's hard to get out of the limbo of you know negativity or the limbo of that bad interest of
thought hyper fixation whatever you want to call it or all of the above but I see you I hear you I
(28:57):
feel you and I just really want you to keep that in mind as I just went down that giant rabbit hole
of different ideas that are going on in my head from you know real life to fake life and and so
yeah this has been another episode of Gen Z Gabb thank you so much for listening if you would like
