Can the media's obsession with political figures and their outrageous rhetoric shape how we perceive reality? We challenge conventional narratives surrounding former President Donald Trump, examining the extreme reactions from media outlets and personalities like Whoopi Goldberg. With the upcoming election on the horizon, we grapple with the potential geopolitical implications under different administrations, particularly regarding the China-Taiwan situation. Our discussion highlights the pressing need for calm and rational discourse in a politically charged environment, as we assess the broader impact these narratives have on society's behavior and political engagement.

The second half of our episode tackles the contentious debates surrounding the Biden administration's approach to governance and its implications on individual freedoms. We express our frustration with the current political leaders, scrutinizing their roles in the issues we face today, such as free speech and gun rights. The conversation is a candid critique of government control over media and social platforms, with a spotlight on the importance of safeguarding First and Second Amendment rights. We emphasize the necessity of prioritizing competence over charisma in political candidates, urging voters to focus on solutions to economic hardships. This episode serves as a wake-up call for voters to prioritize effective problem-solving over likability at the polls.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
What you just said is one of the most insanely
idiotic things I have ever heard.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you
even close to anything thatcould be considered a rational
thought.
Everyone in this room is nowdumber for having listened to.

(00:22):
It is now dumber for havinglistened to it.
You don't know what that oughtto is, mr Trash.
I'd show you, but I'm too old,I'm too tired, I'm too fucking
blind.
If I were the man I was fiveyears ago.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I'd take a flamethrower to this place.
Do you understand the wordsthat are coming out of my mouth?
You want answers.
I think I'm entitled.
You want answers.
I want the truth.
You can't handle the truth.
We've said it once, we've saidit before, we've said it a

(01:02):
million times the truth shallalways set you free.
This is Dennis.
Get off my lawn the madramblings of a Gen Xer.
Oh, we're getting closer to theelection.
You can hear the 60 minutesstopwatch ticking in my head
Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick,boom.
Where will this election go?
Who is going to be the nextpresident?

(01:22):
Are we going to be underneath acommunist regime?
Are we going to?
I love that, because you alwayssee the posts.
In a couple days, I'm going toknow whether I can afford
groceries or if I'm going to gointo World War III, and we're
going to talk about that, Ithink, on Friday.
Not World War III, but I'vebeen kind of going through some

(01:43):
things with China and Taiwan andI've been talking to a couple
people who have some knowledgeabout this situation and gave me
some good insight about whatthe China's thought process
might be, with the differencebetween a Kamala Harris regime

(02:05):
and a Donald Trump regime.
Listen, right now the left isjust freaking bonkers.
I mean, they've gone nuts aboutDonald Trump winning.
I love that.
This is the view which wealways love the view where
Whoopi says that Trump's goingto break up interracial
marriages and deport the woman, but put the white guy, the
husband, with somebody else.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
He's not going to be, he's not going to, you know,
say oh, you're with a white guy,I'm going to keep you from
being deported.
No, he's going to deport youand put the white guy with
someone else.
The man is out there.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
When did he ever say this?
I must've missed this.
I've seen a lot of his rallies.
I've seen a lot of his thingson TV.
I've never once seen him sayhe's going to do this.
It's lunacy at its finest Now.
Whoopi Goldberg has always beena little bit somewhere over the
crazy rainbow.
She's always been there, but tocome out, I mean, they are

(03:03):
becoming so unhinged aboutpotentially losing that the
rhetoric has been dialed up to,like they say in Spinal Tap, but
these got to 11.
We have dialed the rhetoric upto 11.
We wonder why people are takingshots at the former president
to try and attempt assassinationattempts because of the fact

(03:26):
that they, they, they treat himand vilify him like he's the
antichrist.
I don't get it.
And these are, these aresupposed to be, the people that
are going to be, you know, theones that are going to save
america.
They are going to keep us onthis righteous path and make
sure that everything's takencare of.
They've gone fucking bonkers, and all they have to talk about

(03:52):
is we have this joyful feeling.
We are going to be different.
It's.
We are not going back.
So we're not going to go backto the three and a half, almost
four years that you created.
We are not going to go back tothe high inflation which you
created.
We're not going to go back tothe high inflation which you
created.
We're not going to fly.
We're not going to go back toenergy prices.
You know, shoot through theroof that you created.

(04:13):
We're not going to go.
You want me to vote for you tofix the problems that you
created?
That's just garbage.
Talking about how Joe Bidenthinks about us, but that's what
you want us to do.
That's what you want us tothink.
It's crazy.

(04:34):
It's crazyville, and I love itto this point.
Over and over again.
We've always talked about it.
We are the party of democracy.
This is what we're going to do.
We are the.
We are the party of democracy.
This is what we're going to do.
We are.
We are going to save the nation.
He is going to destroy everyone.
Okay, okay.

(04:55):
I love this, though, becausethere was a uh.
This just happened today.
I got.
I got to listen to this.
This is funny.
This is uh.
This is Kamala Harris at arally in Pittsburgh, PA.
Now I'm screwed.
Harrisburg, pa, says.
Dozen of protesters yelled outslogans Kamala supports genocide
, blood on your hands and F you.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Right now I am speaking.
Let me say something.
Let me say something we are weare six days out of an election.
We are six days away from anelection.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
I swear to God she's drunk.
If she's not drunk, I don'tknow what the hell's wrong with
this crazy woman.
But getting back to the fact, about how they're going to save
democracy, kamala Harris and heradministration, which is going
to be the Biden administration, which is going to be the Obama
administration, are going tosave democracy.
Let's talk about how they'regoing to save democracy First.

(05:48):
They're going to limit yourFirst Amendment rights.
That seems like a good plan.
They are going to limit yourfreedom of speech on the
internet.
They are ones that are going tobe the guardians of hate speech
, guardians of what they deem tobe untruthful.
They are going to work closelywith the likes of Meta and

(06:09):
Zuckerberg, which they alreadydid, and they are going to limit
your ability to say things thatthey deem not to be correct.
They are, they are going to.
You know, it reminds me ofPlanet of the Apes.
They are going to be guardiansof the faith, and you're just
going to have to deal with it.
They are going to probably tryto go back, like they did before
under Biden, and have theirperson that's going to be in

(06:32):
charge of all the internet andall speech on the internet.
And that woman was a fuckingloon and they think that's going
to be a good plan.
But they know this.
In any banana republic, in anydictatorship, the first thing
you do is control the media.
They already have the printmedia, they already have the

(06:58):
regular terrestrial media, andnow they're looking to go after
what we refer to as a socialmedia.
They already have Meta andFacebook in their pocket.
They're going to try to controlInstagram by banning it because
of China.
And then they tried to go afterTwitter, but of course Elon
purchased it and is now X.
But here's the problem Nowthey're just going after Elon
Musk, which is crazy to me.

(07:19):
You have a guy that is buildingrockets.
You have a guy that's advancingthe space program that we
killed, but we're going to limitanyone's speech.
That they did, and again, it'snot what is deemed by us as
being inaccurate or what is hatespeech, because that's the

(07:41):
thing about the First Amendmentit protects all speech, even the
speech that makes youuncomfortable.
You can't go we've said itbefore.
You can't go into a crowdedmovie theater and yell fire,
because to me that's not yourFirst Amendment, right?
But you have to have theability to have differences of
opinions.
They want to control thatnarrative.

(08:01):
They've talked about this.
They've talked about this adnauseum.
Then they're going to go afteryour second amendment rights to
bear arms.
She's a.
Glock owner.
I still love that interview.
Kamala Harris, what kind of gundo you own?
Well, I own a Glock, and I'vesaid this before as a gun owner
for multitudes of years and apeople, someone that goes to the

(08:22):
shooting range all the time andsomeone that has spoken to many
people that own handguns.
When you ask somebody what'syour, what's your favorite gun
that you own, I can tell youright now.
If you're a person who actuallyactively fires your firearm,
cleans your firearm, understandshow to break down your weapon,

(08:43):
you don't sit there and go well,my favorite gun is a Glock.
No, you will sit there and go.
Hey, tim, my favorite gun, oh,it's the Glock 19.
It's a Sig Sauer P226.
You know, it's the Springfield1911.
You don't just say, well, I owna Glock.
That's the bullshit way to getout of it because of the fact

(09:03):
you're not really a gun owner.
But she's talked about gunconfiscation.
She's talked about that.
She ran on that platform foryears but all of a sudden now
she's a gun owner.
She was in law enforcementbecause she was the prosecutor
in San Francisco.
She was like fucking Batman.
She was riding around in theprosecutor mobile, going out

(09:25):
there and fighting crime.
You didn't know that I'm batman.
She was fucking batman.
Or maybe she was fucking batman, because what I keep hearing,
what everyone tells us, I likewhat judge willie brown said you
know what kamala used to do?
She couldn't get away, she justhiked up her skirt.
Hey, oh, but she's batman.

(09:45):
But she's already talked aboutgun confiscation.
She's already talked about anational registry.
She's always talked about thesethings that they need to do to
keep you safe by taking thefirearms out of your hands,
because we all know law.
Law-abiding criminals will notgo out and get a handgun
illegally.
You, they can have guns toprotect her.
They can have guns to protecther.
They can have guns to protectsenators, anyone else and their

(10:09):
family, but you don't have thatright.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Then she's talked about thisbefore and Joe Biden's going to
continue with the green, new, fake Gas-powered vehicles.
Those suckers are going to begone in 10 years, according to
her, and she's going to make it.
So you have to buy electric Now.

(10:30):
These are the same people thatspent $5 billion on electric
chargers, that they made three.
$5 billion for three.
That's a pretty good deal.
I can't do the math in my headright now, but $5 billion,
that's like $1.6 billion percharger, and one of them is in a
garage in New York, like in abasement.

(10:52):
Let alone the fact that ourelectrical grid can't handle
these types of things.
And if you don't believe me, golook about what's happening
with the rolling brownouts inCalifornia for years, especially
in the hot seasons, where theyliterally tell you don't run
your air conditioning, don't goon your washer and dryer, don't
do anything between these hoursand I love it because the hours
were like between 11 PM and 6 AM.

(11:13):
So when the hell are yousupposed to charge your car?
When are you supposed, when areyou supposed to do that?
Our electrical grid, ourinfrastructure is not ready for
this?
Maybe in 30, 40 years, but toforce people to buy electric and
to force people to buy carsthat they can't afford.

(11:36):
That's why I just laugh withthe truckers union.
A big rig can cost you anywherebetween $90,000 to $150,000.
A electrical semi costs youanywhere between $500,000 and

(11:56):
above, and I forget how manybatteries they have, but these
batteries weigh like 8,000pounds and the problem is with
these batteries they are soheavy they limit the range of
the vehicle, of the truck itself.
When you have a semi and youhave two tanks, one on each side
, and you fill those tanks asyou go.

(12:19):
The weight of the vehiclelessens, which then puts less
stress on the road and allowsyou to go further.
With these electrical trucks, you may now only be able to
drive six hours a day and youhave these 16,000 pounds on our
roads, on our infrastructure.

(12:39):
That can't support the weightof these vehicles, let alone the
fact that the truckers can'tafford a half a million dollars
for a rig.
So now you have these batteriesthat weigh 16,000 pounds, you
are limiting your ability tothen go from place to place and
deliver goods and services ontime, because they are going to

(13:01):
push a green agenda that we arenot ready for.
But don't worry, they're allfor liberty and justice for all,
even though they're the onesthat don't really come up with
anything in reference to whatthey're going to do plan-wise.
It's just the fact that youcan't vote for Donald Trump.
Then we've talked abouteliminating the filibuster.

(13:22):
Kamala Harris is all for thistaking out the filibuster so
they can ram through an abortionagenda, national abortion
agenda.
Listen, if you want to have anabortion, that's not my business
, it's really not.
That's your business and youhave to make your peace with God
with that.
It's not for me to decide, butI shouldn't have to pay for it.

(13:45):
You should not have taxpayerfunded abortions.
I say I believe the same thingwith birth control I should not
be responsible.
Women are always like, well, you shouldn't be responsible for
my body, it's my body, it's mychoice.
Okay, then the fact that ifthat's the case, since I'm a
taxpayer, I shouldn't have to beresponsible for paying for your
birth control, because it'syour body, your choice.

(14:08):
Go out and afford the $23 amonth and fucking do that, but
they're going to eliminate thefilibuster so they can push
through their agenda.
That does not have.
I mean it's you know.
You have the likes of peoplethat stood strong against
eliminating the filibuster.
You really have, and JoeManchin is gone, but you've got

(14:32):
Cinebrand is still there, cinebon, I call her Cinebon.
But you're going to reach apoint where they may have the
votes one day to eliminate thefilibuster, which is then going
to just drive this nation tosuch a far left turn that we may
never recover.
But don't worry, they're goingto do it for all the right
reasons.
Now let's go to the fact thatyou have some liberals, because

(14:54):
they're all for truth andjustice and democracy because
Trump is a threat againstdemocracy talking about either
eliminating the Supreme Court orpacking the Supreme Court where
more justices to make it moreeven or give them a liberal
advantage.
So everything our foundingfathers worked towards, all that
the founding fathers, what theydid is everything they outlined

(15:15):
in the Constitution they wantto destroy because they're about
democracy.
Right, think about that fact.
Think about that for a fact.
The people that are sayingthey're about democracy want to
take away your rights and we'velearned with COVID that it's
easy to take away certainAmericans' rights because they

(15:36):
want to give up the power to thegovernment, because they don't
want to make these choices.
That's like people are, likeI'm going to vote for Tim Walz
because he's the father I'vealways wanted.
If that's the father you'vealways wanted, then you're a
fucking nut job and maybe you doneed to get some government
psychiatric care Because theguy's a nut.
He had the police in his stateand I find that funny.

(15:59):
I just said police state drivearound and shoot people with
paint guns that were on theirporches during COVID.
That is something you want totalk about Nazi-esque.
That is extremely Nazi-esque.
I'm going to shoot them withpaint guns and get them back in
the house.
This guy's a loon.

(16:19):
But they're all for fairnessand democracy.
And then we talk about the factthat we want they want to have
their millionaires.
We've talked about this.
The billionaires have to paytheir fair share.
Their fair share, they have topay.
We mentioned this a coupleweeks ago.
There are literally 851millionaires in the United

(16:45):
States and they have more thanOne million dollars.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Well, that more than $1 million.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Well, that's a billion dollars, Dr Ebel, but
there's 851.
They make up 46% of the currenttax revenue in this country.
A little over 50% of the peoplein this country, of the
families in this country, don'tpay any income tax, don't pay
any income tax whatsoever.

(17:11):
So the other 54% what happensis that falls on the middle
class to make up the rest 150people paying for almost
entirely the entire, almost 50%of the tax revenue in this

(17:33):
country.
And then you have another 51%that don't pay anything, and
that's what we refer to aspaying their fair share.
In an equal system of democracy, everyone should pay something.
In an equal system of democracy, everyone should pay something.
Everyone should chip in.
You shouldn't have people thatwork that pay zero and then have

(17:57):
people, just because they'rebetter off than you, pay more so
those other people can livebetter.
They talk about Kamala Harrisand Tim Walz.
Talk about how the Americandream is no longer a tangible
thing.
It's no longer reachable.
You caused the problem.
You caused the issues, kamala.

(18:18):
You overheated the economy withthe American Rescue Act.
You lied about what was in theInflation Reduction Act, which
actually raised inflation andjust added to the deficit,
because it was all part of theGreen New Deal.
You created the inflation issue.
You created the supply chainissue.
You created the fact thatpeople can't afford homes.

(18:41):
You created the interest rateson mortgages.
You created the gas pricesbecause you decided we don't
need to drill anymore, we don'tneed to explore for energy
anymore and we should be energyindependent.
We should be energy dependenton places like Venezuela.
You created this, but for someunknown reason, we have to let
you fix it, even though you haveno idea what you're doing or

(19:07):
have zero plan, because everyoneall they said is her ideas are
just going to add trillions ofdollars onto the deficit that we
can't even figure out how topay.
We are right now paying more ininterest on our debt than we
are bringing in through taxes.
Think about that and this wasI've said it before you have had

(19:33):
in the last 16 years, 12 yearscontrolled by the Democrats.
The four years of prosperitythat we had was under Donald
Trump.
You can love him, you can hatehim, you can say he's an asshole
because he's arrogant and allthis and that, but you are
prosperous.
My mortgage rate under Trumpwas two and a half.

(19:55):
You could get a zero interest.
Car loan Banks were giving out,not giving out money, but banks
were lending money, there wasnot this huge debt, this
crushing credit card debt.
And that's what I love.
When people sit there and say Ijust can't vote for Trump, I
have to vote for Kamala becauseshe's the better choice, because
she's about joy.

(20:16):
Is joy going to pay yourfucking bills?
Is joy going to do that?
No, you have people now thatare making decisions.
Do I feed my family or do Imake my minimum credit card
payment because they needed touse their cards to keep that?
We have the largest amount ofcredit card debt in this nation

(20:37):
that we've ever had because ofthe last three and a half years.
But people still flock to thesefucking morons because they say
I can't vote for Trump becauseof the things he says and he's
arrogant and he's cocky.
I always loved the person thatwas on Instagram and she
basically said I was going tovote for Kamala until I talked

(20:58):
to my father and my father justhad surgery, like brain surgery,
I believe it was, and she'slike you know, how did you pick
your surgeon?
And they met a couple ofsurgeons and there was this one
that was kind of arrogant, kindof cocky, kind of an asshole
kind of thought.
He was a know-it-all and theguy, but he was one of the best
in the country and hispersonality his bedside manner

(21:22):
turned people off.
But her father said I pickedhim because he was the right
choice and he was the bestchoice.
He may not be the nicest person, he may be gruff, but when
you're doing something like thisand it's your life would you
rather have someone that givesyou this joy feeling or would
you rather have someone that canfix the fucking problem?

(21:44):
Vote Trump, because the truthwill always set you free.
This is Tim.
This is Kevin.
I'm on the Mad Ramblings of aGen Xer and I'm out of here.
